Development Of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) Textbooks Based On Ethnopedagogy Through Local Wisdom In Thematic Learning

This study aims to develop an Islamic Religious Education (IRE) textbook based on ethnopedagogy, which integrates local wisdom into thematic learning, and assess its quality and feasibility. Based on the researcher's observations in several elementary schools in North Aceh, it was found that, in practice, the concepts were not connected to local culture, which is a critical component of the ethnopedagogical approach. Therefore, the solution proposed by the researcher is to provide teachers with an understanding of the ethnopedagogical approach. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study involved 27 elementary school teachers in North Aceh as the sample. The survey results showed that the thematic textbook based on Ethno pedagogy was deemed feasible and practical. Most teachers gave ratings with an average of over 80% on almost all tested indicators. In conclusion, developing the IRE textbook based on ethno-pedagogy successfully integrated local cultural values into IRE learning and positively impacted students' understanding and attitudes. Implications: This textbook plays a role in preserving and introducing local wisdom to students, indirectly strengthening their cultural identity. By studying local wisdom, students will better appreciate their environment's cultural heritage and values while integrating religious teachings into their socio-cultural lives. Additional Materials: A teacher training program on implementing local wisdom or initiatives from local governments to develop educational resources based on local culture.

Harnessing Biomass and Blue Carbon Potential: Estimating Carbon Stocks in the Vital Wetlands of Eastern Sumatra, Indonesia

Global warming is a critical factor driving climate change, impacting every aspect of life on Earth. The escalating concentration of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere, the primary contributor to global warming, necessitates immediate action through effective climate mitigation strategies. This study aimed to quantify the biomass and blue carbon stocks in the eastern coastal mangrove forests of North Sumatra and Aceh Provinces in Indonesia, focusing on key sites in Langkat, Deli Serdang, Batu Bara, Tanjung Balai, and Aceh Tamiang Regencies. We measured carbon stock in three carbon pools: biomass (above and below ground), necromass, and soil. By analyzing tree stands using parameters such as tree height and diameter at breast height within circular plots (7 m in radius, 125 m apart), we gathered fundamental data on forest structure, species composition, and above- and below-ground biomass. Additionally, we collected soil samples at various points and depths, measuring the amount of wood, stems, or branches (necromass) that fell to or died on the forest floor. Data were collected in plots along a line transect, comprising three transects and six circular plots each. Sixteen diverse mangrove species were found, demonstrating rich mangrove biodiversity. The mangrove forests in the five regencies exhibited significant carbon storage potential, with estimated average above-ground carbon ranging from 96 to 356 MgC/ha and average below-ground carbon from 28 to 153 MgC/ha. The estimated average deadwood carbon varied between 50 and 91 MgC/ha, while soil carbon ranged from 1200 to 2500 MgC/ha. These findings underscore the significant carbon storage potential of these mangrove forests, highlighting their importance to global carbon cycling and climate change mitigation. This research contributes to a broader understanding of mangroves as vital blue carbon ecosystems, emphasizing the necessity of conservation efforts such as forest restoration and rehabilitation to enhance their role in stabilizing coastal areas and improving global climate resilience.

TINGKAT KEBERDAYAAN PETANI PADI SAWAH BERDASARKAN KARAKTERISTIK SOSIAL EKONOMI

Lowland rice farmers in North Aceh Regency do not yet have a good level of ability in developing rice agribusiness. Ability is one element of empowerment. Low ability shows low empowerment. Empowered farmers mean having adequate knowledge, attitudes and skills so they are able to manage their farming business well. The research aims to determine the level of empowerment of rice farmers based on socio-economic characteristics. This research uses primary data derived from interviews with lowland rice farmers. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive methods. The results of the analysis show that there are differences in levels of empowerment when viewed based on age, income and land area. Meanwhile, in terms of education, experience, number of dependents and source of income, it is generally known that all farmers are in the same category, namely empowered.

Redesign of work facilities at the tofu pressing station with a participatory ergonomic approach

Tahu Palda is a small and medium-sized micro business in the food industry that produces tofu. This factory has been producing tofu since 2005, located in North Aceh. The workers in this tofu usually five workers, with an average of 7 working hours per day. Based on the observations at several workstations, initial data indicate that the dominant work posture is standing, bending, and lifting heavy loads such as a 20 kg weight for pressing and lifting a mold holder with a 15 kg load. This is done continuously for 7 working hours each day. Based on the results of the distribution of the Cornell Musculoskeletal Discomfort Questionnaire (CMDQ), it was found that workers at the station experience complaints such as back pain, lower back pain, and upper arm pain due to the high frequency of lifting heavy loads. If this continues to be neglected, it can lead to work-related diseases such as musculoskeletal disorders. The assessment of workers' posture using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method shows that the score obtained for the job of pouring soybean paste is 7, which means a moderate risk, the job of lifting the press weight is 5, which means a moderate risk, and the job of flipping molds has a score of 10, which falls into the high-risk category and needs improvement. Improvements were made using a participatory ergonomics approach, resulting in the decision to redesign the tofu press tool to fit the workers' body anthropometry. The anthropometric calculations for the height range of the press support tool and cutting tool are 141.1 cm, the press support range is 68.78 cm, the width of the press tool is 49.4 cm, the height of the tray is 4.54 cm, and the height of the tray holder is 103.85 cm.

Tourism Contribution in Increasing Local Original Income

This study aims to determine the contribution of tourism in increasing Regional Original Income in North Aceh Regency and Lhokseumawe City. The method used is sociological juridical with a qualitative approach and using primary and secondary data. The subjects in this study were the head of the BPKD office, the Youth, Sports and Tourism Office, CO waterboom Blang Mangat - Lhokseumawe, and cottages in marine tourism areas (beachside). Law Number 10 of 2009 concerning Tourism, that tourism is a variety of tourism activities and is supported by various facilities and services provided by the community, entrepreneurs, government and local government. And Tourism plays an important role in supporting economic growth, increasing Gross Domestic Product, and making a significant contribution to the country's foreign exchange earnings. However, in reality, it has not run optimally. The results of the study found that first, there is no qanun that regulates the collection from tourist attractions. Second, there are no playgrounds for children. Third, inhibiting factors in its implementation. Regional income from tourist attractions so far has only come from parking levies. Therefore, it is necessary to develop tourism using appropriate strategies, such as tourism promotion, accessibility, tourism areas, marine tourism, tourism products, human resources, transportation and the National Tourism Awareness Campaign.

Model of Policy Network in Advocacy for the Formulation of Qanun Draft on Protection and Fulfillment of the Rights of People with Disabilities

This study aims to analyze the interaction and interdependence of policy networks, identify inhibiting and supporting factors, and formulate an effective policy network model in the formulation of the Qanun for the protection and fulfillment of the rights of persons with disabilities in North Aceh Regency. A qualitative approach was used in this study, with data collection methods including in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), observations, and document studies.The results of the study indicate that the interaction and interdependence among actors in the policy network in North Aceh Regency are still not optimal. The involved actors often work separately without adequate coordination, and differences in interests and priorities hinder the achievement of common goals. The main inhibiting factors include a lack of resources, differences in interests among actors, and low public awareness of the rights of persons with disabilities. On the other hand, supporting factors include the commitment of the local government, support from NGOs, and initiatives from the community of persons with disabilities.An effective policy network model includes enhancing coordination among actors, establishing regular communication forums, strengthening the capacity of involved actors, and active participation from the community of persons with disabilities. By implementing this model, it is expected that the formulation of the Qanun for the protection and fulfillment of the rights of persons with disabilities in North Aceh Regency can proceed more effectively and inclusively.

Impact of Leadership on Sales Performance Mediated by Digital Intellectuality and Innovation in Aceh Province, Indonesia

This study investigates how transformational and adaptive leadership influence sales performance in retail stores in Aceh Province, Indonesia, with digital intellectuality as a mediator and technological innovation as a moderator. Primary data were collected via a questionnaire distributed to 300 owners and employees of minimarkets, grocery stores, and cafes in North Aceh Regency, Bireuen Regency, and Lhokseumawe City. Using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) for analysis, the findings reveal that both leadership styles positively impact digital intellectuality, which enhances technological innovation and boosts sales performance. Transformational leadership significantly mediates the relationship between digital intellectuality and sales performance, while adaptive leadership indirectly influences sales performance through digital intellectuality and technological innovation, highlighting the critical role of leadership in optimizing sales outcomes.

Green and Digital Leadership: Impact on Sustainable Performance, Mediating Environmental Knowledge Sharing, Moderating Technological Innovation

This study aims to explore the influence of Green Leadership and Digital Leadership on Sustainable Performance through the mediating role of Environmental Knowledge Sharing and the moderating role of Technological Innovation. Data were collected from 365 employees of District regional secretariat in North Aceh Regency, Bireuen Regency, and Lhokseumawe City, Indonesia, using a quantitative method with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) employing Smart PLS software. The findings reveal that both Green Leadership and Digital Leadership significantly impact Environmental Knowledge Sharing. While Digital Leadership does not directly influence Sustainable Performance significantly, both Digital Leadership and Environmental Knowledge Sharing exhibit a positive and significant effect on Sustainable Performance. Environmental Knowledge Sharing significantly mediates the influence of Green Leadership and Digital Leadership on Sustainable Performance. Moreover, Technological Innovation moderates the relationship between Environmental Knowledge Sharing and Sustainable Performance, indicating a reduction in impact at higher levels of innovation. Theoretical implications of these findings extend understanding of how Digital Leadership and Green Leadership affect sustainable performance through environmental knowledge dissemination. Practical implications suggest organizations should prioritize developing digital and green leadership competencies to enhance their environmental knowledge and sustainable performance.

Water Quality Monitoring and Control System for Tilapia Cultivation Based on Internet of Things

This research analyzes the quality of water for tilapia habitat which is a type of brackish water fish that is currently widely cultivated by pond farmers. This fish is the choice because of its flexibility regarding habitat. However, despite having flexibility in terms of habitat, each harvest of tilapia that lives in a different habitat will produce tilapia with different quantity and quality. Currently, many tilapia farmers still carry out the cultivation process using traditional methods using ponds. Kuala Kerto Village, Lapang District, North Aceh is one of the locations where many tilapia fish farmers use ponds as a habitat for this fish. Not infrequently, changes in natural conditions such as rain and floods have an impact on tilapia fish ponds in this village. Thus, crop yields are very varied, often even resulting in losses. One of the reasons for this is that there is still minimal use of technology in tilapia cultivation in this village. The design of a water quality monitoring and control system for IoT-based tilapia cultivation in this research was carried out to help the problems of tilapia pond farmers. Through this research, a tool was produced in the form of a prototype IoT device that can be used to monitor and control water quality in tilapia fish ponds. This device utilizes several sensors such as turbidity sensors, ammonia sensors, salinity sensors, pH sensors, and several other sensors as data takers which will later be transmitted and displayed via a web application. Research and development of this device uses the RD method, namely research and development.

PERAN KEPALA MADRASAH DAN MOTIVASI KERJA DALAM MEMPENGARUHI KINERJA GURU BERBASIS TEKNOLOGI DIGITAL

<p>This study aims to examine the role of school principals and work motivation in influencing teacher performance based on digital technology. The case study is conducted at Dayah Terpadu Almuslimun Lhoksukon. The research was carried out in North Aceh Regency in July 2024. The sample consists of 118 respondents. The research model uses quantitative statistics with WarpPLS software version 8.0. The results indicate that the leadership style of the school principal affects teacher performance. Additionally, work motivation influences teacher performance. The coefficient of determination for the endogenous variable of leadership style has an impact of 53.9% on teacher performance, with the remaining 47.1% being influenced by other variables not covered in this study.</p>

EFEKTIFITAS PENGELOLAAN PEMBERIAN TUNJANGAN PROFESI DALAM OPTIMALISASI KINERJA PROFESIONAL GURU

The objectives of this research are 1) What is the effectiveness of providing teacher professional allowances on teacher professional performance; 2) What is the management strategy for providing professional allowances in optimizing teacher professional performance; dna 3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for providing teacher professional allowances on professional performance. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this research were 13 people. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The data validity checking technique uses the Triangulation technique. The results of the research findings are that providing professional allowances provides additional motivation for teachers to continue to improve the quality of their teaching. Overall, the provision of TPG has had a positive impact on increasing the competency and professionalism of teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Lhoksukon, North Aceh Regency. Of the 11 certified teachers on average, 3 of them received the good predicate for their performance assessment. Another finding is that delays in disbursement of funds and differences in data are the main obstacles that must be overcome to increase the effectiveness of TPG. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to improve the administration system, increase coordination between related parties, and better handle data. On the other hand, compliance with regulations, good evaluation mechanisms, and effective socialization and mentoring are supporting factors that strengthen the provision of TPG.<p> </p>

The Use of Brown's Double Exponential Smoothing Method to Predict Harvest Yields in Horticultural Crops

Agriculture stands as a pivotal sub-sector within the economy of North Aceh. Among its primary commodities are horticultural crops, encompassing the cultivation of vegetables, fruits, medicinal plants, and ornamental flora. In endeavors to boost agricultural productivity and efficiency, the utilization of harvest prediction methodologies has grown increasingly indispensable. This study relies on historical harvest data spanning from 2017 to 2022 to forecast crops such as leafy greens, fruits, and medicinal plants. The selected plants for prediction include spinach, water spinach, cucumber, banana, durian, rambutan, ginger, lesser galangal, and turmeric. Data analysis employs Brown's double exponential smoothing method, selecting the α (alpha) parameter that minimizes the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) for accurate forecasting. Spinach is anticipated to yield 1239.9508 quintals, with an α (alpha) parameter of 0.9 and a MAPE of 38.46%. Water spinach is forecasted to yield 2069.75 quintals, with an α (alpha) parameter of 0.5 and a MAPE of 18.14%. Cucumber is projected to yield 1023.22432 quintals, with an α (alpha) parameter of 0.4 and a MAPE of 31.51%. Consequently, the highest projected yield is for water spinach at 2069,75 quintals.

Analisis Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah Terhadap Penbentukan Karakter Guru MTsN 5 Aceh Utara

The Madrasah Principal is an educational leader who has a very big role and is responsible for the educational process and also developing the character of teachers in the madrasah. Therefore, the author raised this research to analyze the leadership style of Madrasas at MTsN 5 North Aceh in forming teacher characters. This research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Technique the researcher's data collection technique uses observation, interviews and documentation, while the data analysis technique is data reduction. The results of the research show that: The Madrasah Head's Leadership Style on the Formation of Teacher Character at MTsN 5 North Aceh is a democratic leadership style. The Impact of this Leadership Style on the Formation of Social Character of Teachers at MTsN 5 North Aceh shows a leadership attitude that is caring and oriented towards madrasa development, task assignments are carried out fairly, by ensuring that each individual accepts responsibility according to their abilities and roles. However, there are supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation of teacher character at MTsN 5 North Aceh, namely supporting factors, namely adequate teacher finances, adequate infrastructure and good personal relationships, which are created by teachers with fellow teachers, employees, parents, guardians, students and the surrounding community. Inhibiting factors come from several factors, can come from the teacher himself, or can come from factors outside the teacher such as students or from the teacher's work environment

ANALYSIS OF DETERMINANTS OF DEMAND FOR SPECIALIST POLYCLINIC SERVICES AT THE INDONESIAN RED CROSS HOSPITAL, NORTH ACEH

Demand Health is an individual's decision regarding choices in utilizing health services. Demand for health services provided in primary, secondary and tertiary health facilities, as well as including public health, varies. Utilization of health services at the Indonesian Red Cross Hospital in North Aceh, especially at specialist polyclinic services, appears to be still very low. This can be shown from the number of visits each month which fluctuates up and down with a trend line showing the forecasting value in a downward direction. This research aims to analyze the Determinants of Demand for Specialist Polyclinic Services at the Indonesian Red Cross Hospital, North Aceh. This type of research is descriptive analytical with a cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. Data analysis was carried out through univariate and bivariate stages.There is no significant relationship between gender with P value = 0.701, age with P value = 0.383, education level with P value = 0.105, income with P value = 0.75, health insurance with P value = 0.511, waiting time with P value = 0.260, type of disease with P value = 0.895, severity of disease with P value = 0.385 and quality of service with P value = 0.369 for service demand at the specialist polyclinic of the Indonesian Red Cross Hospital, North Aceh. The conclusion from this research is that there are no variables that can significantly directly influence the demand for specialist polyclinic services at the Indonesian Red Cross Hospital in North Aceh, however, the researcher strongly recommends various efforts and initiatives from all levels, both management and implementing officers, to always improve the services provided. to patients in order to create high demand from patients who have visited and people who have never visited the PMI North Aceh hospital.

GERAY DASIF: Gerakan Ayah Dukung Asi Eksklusif di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Peusangan Siblah Krueng

Many fathers are concerned about the low level of breastfeeding, but fathers do not show any action to provide proper support to their wives. The problem of exclusive breastfeeding also occurs in the Peusangan Siblah Krueng Health Center Work Area with babies aged 0-6 months who do not receive exclusive breastfeeding. This cannot be allowed to continue because exclusive breastfeeding is the main source of nutrition for growth and development. Activity Objectives: Creating GERAY DASIF: Fathers' Movement to Support Exclusive Breastfeeding in the Dewantara Health Center Work Area and increasing the active involvement of fathers in improving maternal and infant health. Community Service Methods: Identification of exclusive breastfeeding, identification of supporting factors for breastfeeding mothers in North Aceh, consultation and formation of fathers' groups, group management, monitoring and evaluation, activity reports, scientific publications, socialization. The result of the service is the formation of a group of fathers supporting exclusive breastfeeding so that fathers are aware of their role which is not only to earn a living but also "but fathers/husbands also play a big role in providing support for the family, especially for partners (wives), one of which is supporting or helping mothers (wives) in terms of providing breast milk so that mothers feel able to breastfeed their babies and get attention from their husbands.

Determination of The Critical Period of Sweet Corn Plants (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt) Against Weed

The critical period is a time when cultivated plants are very sensitive to the presence of weeds so that the disturbance caused by them can reduce the final yield. So, no the entire growing period of plants is affected by weeds. This critical period relates to the time of proper control so that the presence of weeds does not always require control measures. This research aims to determine the critical period for sweet corn (Zea Mays Saccharata Surt) against weeds and the effect of weeds on the growth and yield of sweet corn plants. This research was carried out at Gampong Mesjid, Kaway XVI, West Aceh Regency, Soil Science Laboratory and Pest and Disease Laboratory, Agroecotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Malikussaleh University, North Aceh from February to April 2024. This research used an experimental method of randomized block design (RAK), the single factor that consists of 10 treatments with 3 repetitions. P1: 0-15 DAP with weeds, P2: 0-30 DAP with weeds, P3: 0-45 DAP with weeds, P4: 0-60 DAP with weeds, P5: 0-Weedy harvest, P6: 0-15 DAP weeds free, P7: 0-30 DAP weeds free, P8: 0-45 DAP weeds free, P9: 0-60 DAP weeds free, P10: 0-DAP harvest free from weeds. The observation data were analyzed using analysis of variance, the treatment average was obtained through Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DRMT) a the 0.05 level. The research results show that the critical period for sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) for weeds is determined at the age of 16-30 days after planting. Weed control carried out between 16-30 days of plant age will not inhibit the growth and yield of sweet corn plants.

Analysis of Visitor Satisfaction at the Samudera Pasai Islamic Museum Tourist Attraction Using the Servqual Method

Visitor satisfaction greatly influences the development of the tourism industry, the development of the tourism industry in a region will give birth to other supporting businesses. The Samudera Pasai Islamic Museum is one of the cultural-based tourist attractions that displays tourist attractions in the form of fine art, historical relics and customs. The Samudera Pasai Islamic Museum is located in North Aceh Regency, Aceh Province. In 2023, the average number of museum visitors was 1,050 people and there was a significant decrease in visitors in September 2023. The purpose of this study was to determine visitor satisfaction with the quality of service provided by the management of the Samudera Pasai Islamic Museum. The method used in this study is the Service Quality (Servqual) method. Servqual is a method used to identify the level or quality of visitor satisfaction with the services provided by a service industry through five dimensions, namely tangibles (physical evidence), responsiveness, reliability, empathy and assurance by analyzing the gap between the value of perception and the value of visitor expectations. The results of the study showed that in the tangibles dimension, the gap value was obtained at -0.50, the responsiveness dimension obtained a gap value of -0.43, the reliability dimension obtained a gap value of -0.32, the assurance dimension obtained a gap value of -0.26 and the empathy dimension obtained a gap value of -0.34. These results indicate that the satisfaction of visitors to the Samudera Pasai Museum has not been achieved, so service improvements are needed

Analysis of Performance Comparison between K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) Method and Naïve Bayes Method in Reward for Honda Motorcycle Salesman Tour

Honda Indako Trading Coy Krakatau is a company in the automotive and spare parts industry. As the main dealer of Honda motorcycles and spare parts for North Sumatra and Aceh, the company faces challenges in boosting sales and maintaining employee loyalty. To address this, the company offers a reward salesman tour for employees who meet certain criteria. However, the current evaluation system is too simple and does not fully capture the quality of employees, especially their product knowledge and involvement in company campaigns. This study aims to solve these issues using data mining techniques, specifically the Naïve Bayes and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) methods. These methods were chosen for their accuracy and simplicity. The K-Nearest Neighbor method (K=11) showed an accuracy of 94.04%, a precision of 83.78%, and a recall of 96.87%, while the Naïve Bayes method showed an accuracy of 81.81%, a precision of 72.00%, and a recall of 81.25%.

Pengaruh Penggunaan Abu Bata Merah Sebagai Filler Pada Aspal Porus Terhadap Karakteristik Marshall

Roads are an important infrastructure for the community in mobilizing. Therefore, it needs special attention in terms of safety and comfort. In several parts of Indonesia, during the rainy season, especially in North Aceh District, Lhoksukon often experiences flooding and the water inundates the roads. This disrupts road users and mobilization. Porous asphalt is a flexible pavement which has excellent advantages for countries with tropical climates such as our country, Indonesia. The advantages of porous asphalt are planned to have large cavities so that they can absorb water freely. In this study the authors will examine the use of red brick ash as a filler obtained at a brick factory in Blang Panjoe Village, Peusangan District, Bireuen Regency. The varying levels of brick ash as filler in porous asphalt mixtures are 0%, 30% and 50%. Furthermore, the determination of KAO and the manufacture of porous asphalt mixing specimens were carried out with red rock ash as a filler substitute of 0%, 30% and 50%. The maximum percentage variation in brick ash content was obtained at 50% substitution with a stability value of 591 kg, a yield value of 3.27 mm, MQ 181.26 kg/mm and VIM 18.8%. The results of the research on the stability and flow values and the Marshall parameters meet the AAPA specifications.

Rainy and dry seasons impact on electricity demand in Indonesia

Electricity consumption has become an integral part of daily life and is pivotal in supporting various aspects of human life. North Aceh Regency, a tropical region in Indonesia, experiences significant seasonal fluctuations between the rainy and dry seasons. This research aims to investigate and analyze the impact of these seasonal differences on electricity consumption patterns by consumers in the region using the IBM SPSS statistical method. Monthly electricity consumption data from consumers in North Aceh Regency over a specific period were collected and analyzed using IBM SPSS software. Descriptive statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and regression models were employed to identify significant differences in electricity consumption between the rainy and dry seasons and to understand the factors influencing consumption patterns. The results of the analysis indicate a significant difference in electricity consumption between the rainy and dry seasons in North Aceh Regency. The dry season shows an increase in electricity consumption, possibly related to factors such as the use of air conditioning and additional lighting.
