THE INFLUENCE OF TRUST AND INFORMATION QUALITY ON ONLINE PURCHASE DECISION IN THE SHOPEE APPLICATION (A CASE STUDY ON PT SRI BOGOR’S EMPLOYEE)


 
 
 
 This study aims to determine how trust and information quality influence online purchasing decisions for Shopee application users. This research is a quantitative study with trust, information quality, and purchase decisions as variables. The population of this research was employees of PT SRI Bogor, who had at least used the Shopee application once. The sample used in this study consisted of 90 respondents who were taken using the accidental sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, in which each respondent was given 25 statements. The data were then analyzed using regression analysis techniques, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Trust has a positive effect on purchasing decisions with a value of 28%; (2) Quality of information has a positive effect on purchasing decisions with a value of 37.4%; (3) Trust and quality of information simultaneously influence purchasing decisions with a value of 43.4%, while the remaining 56.6% is influenced by other variables not examined.
 
 
 
 

Pengaruh Kualitas Informasi terhadap Keputusan Memilih Objek Wisata dengan Trust sebagai Variabel Intervening

The purpose of this study is to analyze and discuss the influence of information quality on the decision to choose attractions with trust as an intervening variable. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method. The population in this study is the age category 17-40 years which is infinite who has become followers of @folkindonesia with a sample of 220 respondents. The questionnaire was distributed online then measured by the Likert scale and path as data analysis. The results showed that the quality of information and trust significantly influence the decision to choose attractions. But not with the information’s quality which doesn’t have a significant direct effect without trust as a mediator on the decision to choose a tourists destination. Furthermore, this study also found that information quality has a significant effect on trust. Meanwhile, based on the Sobel test results trust variable succeeded in mediating the relationship between the information quality variable on the decision to choose a tourists destination

The influence of Information Quality, Service Quality, and Customer Experience On Customer Trust at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Klaten Kota

The development of technology and information can be used by a company to build the customer trust. A customer trust is needed to make long term relationship between customer and a company. This research is implemented to know the influence of Information Quality, Service Quality, and Customer Experience On Customer Trust at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Klaten Kota by knowing the partial and simultaneous influence of information quality, service quality and customer experience toward customer trust at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Klaten Kota . The data used in this research is primary data taken by interviewing the manager of PT PLN (Persero) ULP Klaten Kota and customer questionnaires. The sample in this research is 100 customers of PT PLN (Persero) ULP Klaten Kota . The Sampling technique used is purposive sampling and insidental sampling. The sata analysis model used is multiple linear regression analysis. The result of coefficient determination showed that 82,3% of customer trust is influenced by information quality, service quality and customer experience. While, the other is influenced by a other factors which are not examined in this research. The hypothesis result showed that information quality doesn't have a significant effect toward customer trust partially, service quality has significant effect toward customer trust and customer experience has a significant effect toward customer trust. Information quality, service quality and customer experience have a significant effect toward customer trust simultaneously

Determinants of the Perceived Credibility of Rebuttals Concerning Health Misinformation.

Users provide and share information with a broad audience on different forms of social media; however, information accuracy is questionable. Currently, the health information field is severely affected by misinformation. Thus, addressing health misinformation is integral for enhancing public health. This research can help relevant practitioners (i.e., government officials, medical and health service personnel, and educators) find the most effective correctional interventions for governing health misinformation. We constructed a theoretical model for credibility-oriented determinants refuting misinformation based on the elaboration likelihood model. We aggregated 415 pieces of valid data through a questionnaire survey. A partial least squares structural equation model evaluated this research model. The results indicated that both perceived information quality and perceived source credibility can enhance perceived information credibility. Under some circumstances, the influence of information quality on information credibility may be more important than that of the information source. However, the cognitive conflict and knowledge self-confidence of information receivers weaken the influence of information quality on information credibility. In contrast, cognitive conflict can strengthen the influence of source credibility on information credibility. Further, perceived information quality can be affected by information usefulness, understandability, and relevance, while perceived source reliability can be affected by source expertise and authority.

Analysis of the Effect of Information Quality and Easiness on Satisfaction through User Trust of SIAKAD University of Merdeka Malang,Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the influence of information quality and ease on trust, to analyze the influence of information quality and ease on user satisfaction, to analyze the effect of trust on user satisfaction and to analyze information quality and ease on user satisfaction through the trust of SIAKAD Unmer Malang. The sample in this study were 75 students. The data analysis technique used path analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that the quality of information and ease have an effect on trust, which means that quality SIAKAD information supported by ease of operation can increase trust. Information quality and ease have an effect on user satisfaction. This means that user satisfaction can be built through the provision of quality information and ease of use of SIAKAD. Trust affects user satisfaction, which means thatuser trust can build user satisfaction because ease of use is reflected in being satisfied with the information presented at SIAKAD making it easier for activities. Trust mediates the effect of information quality and ease on user satisfaction. This means that user satisfaction can be built if users feel that the information presented is of high quality and makes it easy to operate SIAKAD.

Qualidade da Informação como Antecedente do uso da Tecnologia: Análise da Mídia Social Youtube sob a Ótica de Graduandos do Curso de Ciências Contábeis

As mídias sociais, como o YouTube, estão cada vez mais presentes no cotidiano das pessoas, não sendo diferente no contexto educacional. Contudo, alguns aspectos podem ser favoráveis à aceitação dessas tecnologias, como a qualidade da informação. Nesta perspectiva, o estudo tem como objetivo analisar a influência da qualidade da informação como antecedente do uso da tecnologia, especificamente relacionado à mídia social YouTube no tocante aos graduandos do curso de ciências contábeis de uma universidade pública federal. O referencial teórico apoia-se a duas vertentes: (i) qualidade da informação; (ii) a aceitação da tecnologia em contextos educacionais, especificamente acerca do modelo de aceitação de tecnologia. Após a revisão da literatura, sete hipóteses foram criadas. A partir de uma survey, com envio de questionário eletrônico, obteve-se uma amostra de 58 estudantes. Para a análise dos dados, foi empregada a modelagem de equações estruturais. Complementarmente, a análise de efeitos diretos (hipóteses estabelecidas), efetuou-se a análise de efeitos indiretos. Os achados apontam efeito direto nas relações: (H1) qualidade da informação na facilidade percebida de uso; (H3) facilidade percebida de uso na utilidade percebida; (H5) utilidade percebida na atitude; (H7) atitude na intenção comportamental. Como implicações para prática, ressalta-se a relevância do uso de tal mídia como um meio complementar de aprendizado para os discentes de ciências contábeis. Pelo viés de implicações teóricas, o estudo contribui ao elencar a pertinência da qualidade da informação como um antecedente da aceitação da tecnologia.

Influence of Information Quality on Retailer Satisfaction through Supply Chain Flexibility and Supplier Relationship Management in the Retail Industry

Businesses always compete to improve customer satisfaction. A firm engaged in as a distributor as well, always try to provide satisfaction to their customer, in this case, retailer and wholesales. The distributor can improve retailer satisfaction by providing such information that suits retailer requirements in the pursuit that the supply chain flow can move quickly, particularly on the flow of products from the manufacturing ordered by the distributors. This study aims to obtain a relationship between distributors and retailer companies. This study surveyed 100 retailers, and wholesale companies engaged in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and the supplier domiciled in the city of Makassar, South Sulawesi, with revenues of more than IDR 300,000,000. - / year. SmartPLS software version 2.0 was used to test the hypothesis. The results of the study found that information quality can provide a positive increase in improving supplier relationship management. Adequate information quality cannot significantly increase supply chain flexibility and retailer satisfaction. Supplier relationship management built by distributors can have an impact of 0.611 on supply chain flexibility in retail and retail satisfaction companies of 0.367. The stronger distributor and retailer relationship can increase distributor flexibility and retail satisfaction. Supply chain flexibility built by distributor companies can have a significant impact on retailer satisfaction of 0.463. This research provides an improvement in the development of supply chain management theory, in particular, building relationships with customers.

SNS 맛집 정보품질과 정보신뢰가 지속이용의도에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 SNS 맛집 정보품질에 대한 이용자의 인식과 지속이용의도에 대한 영향관계를 살펴보고, 이러한 관계에 대해 SNS 정보신뢰가 매개효과를 하는지를 알아보기 위해 문헌연구와 실증연구를 병행하였다. 이를 통해 SNS 맛집 정보품질의 요인 중 중요한 요인들은 어떠한 것들이 있는지를 검증하고, SNS 이용자가 맛집 탐색을 위한 행동을 할 때 SNS를 지속적으로 이용하도록 하기 위해서 기업이 어떠한 마케팅 전략을 수립해야 하는지에 대한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 외식학분야에 있어서는 SNS를 포함한 타산업분야와의 융복합의 중요성을 인식하는 계기를 마련하고자 한다. 실증연구결과를 요약하면, 첫째, 독립변수의 요인인 적시성, 상호작용성, 용이성은 매개변수인 정보신뢰에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 독립변수의 요인 중 정확성은 매개변수인 정보신뢰에 유의한 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 독립변수의 요인인 적시성, 상호작용성, 정확성, 용이성은 종속변수인 지속이용의도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 정보신뢰는 정보품질과 지속이용의도간에 유의한 매개역할을 하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 가설1과 2는 채택되었으며, 가설3은 기각되었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 외식기업은 SNS를 통해 홍보하는 마케팅 활동이 증가하고 있는 상황에서 SNS의 정보에 대한 정확성과 신뢰도는 무엇보다도 중요하지만, 현대의 SNS 이용자들이 원하는 정보의 적시성, 용이성, 상호작용성에 대한 전략적인 접근이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있다. 즉 SNS 이용자들이 인식하는 맛집 정보는 쉽고, 빠르게, 특히 커뮤니티를 형성하는 목적으로 이용하는 사람들이 많다는 것이다. 하지만 보다 개선되어져야 할 것은 이용자들이 원하는 정보품질의 질을 향상시키기 위해서는 다양한 콘텐츠를 접근성을 높이는 것도 중요하지만, 정보에 대한 신뢰를 쌓아가는 것도 중요하다는 것을 간과해서는 안 될 것이다.

Companies’ Sustainable Growth, Accounting Quality, and Investments Performances. The Case of the Romanian Capital Market

The paper analyzes the influence of sustainable growth (SGR) as a reflection of the manner of strategic business organization, particularly in the quality of reported financial information (magnitude of discretionary accruals—DAC) as an expression of the ethical attitude adopted by companies in the entity–investor relationship, on the investors’ decisions, substantiated in the performance level of the shares held. Using models consecrated in the literature, the results reflect a significant influence, both in the case of separate testing of the two factors (SGR and DAC), and in the case of the conjugated action thereof, on investment performance. The relations were also tested by introducing certain control variables into the analysis, such as: the intangible ratio, quick ratio, company size, as well as the SGR sensitivity function of the level of information quality. In the case of financial information quality, specific indicators from the two consecrated value relevance testing models by Ohlson (1995) and Easton and Harris (1991) were used as control variables. The obtained results are robust, preserving the sense and intensity of the influences. However, in the case of testing for the influence of information quality on share price, it was noticed an insignificant relation, associated with the situation in which, to execute some speculative transactions, investors particularly interpreted conjunctural factors. The study contributes to the development of the specialty literature by highlighting the role of internal growth and information quality as determinant factors in the investors’ analyses, while also offering a potentially practical tool for assessing the opportunity of making placements in the capital of companies.

Budaya Organisasi Memoderasi Pengaruh Adopsi SIA pada Kinerja Organisasi

The study aims to determine the effect of information quality, service quality, system quality on organizational performance with organizational culture as a moderating variable. The research population is starred hotel employees in Badung Regency who use technology-based accounting information systems, especially the accounting and front office departments. The data collection technique used is saturated samples. Sampling obtained research samples of 90 star hotel employees in Badung Regency. The data analysis technique used is moderated regression analysis. The results showed that information quality, service quality, system quality had an effect on organizational performance. Organizational culture can strengthen the influence of information quality, service quality, system quality on organizational performance. It can be concluded that the adoption of technology that is proxied by organizational performance is influenced by the quality of information, service quality, system quality, especially accounting information systems in hotels.

Influence of Information Quality via Implemented German RCD Standard in Research Information Systems

With the steady increase in the number of data sources to be stored and processed by higher education and research institutions, it has become necessary to develop Research Information Systems, which will store this research information in the long term and make it accessible for further use, such as reporting and evaluation processes, institutional decision making and the presentation of research performance. In order to retain control while integrating research information from heterogeneous internal and external data sources and disparate interfaces into RIS and to maximize the benefits of the research information, ensuring data quality in RIS is critical. To facilitate a common understanding of the research information collected and to harmonize data collection processes, various standardization initiatives have emerged in recent decades. These standards support the use of research information in RIS and enable compatibility and interoperability between different information systems. This paper examines the process of securing data quality in RIS and the impact of research information standards on data quality in RIS. We focus on the recently developed German Research Core Dataset standard as a case of application.

Pengaruh Reputasi, Kualitas Informasi, dan e-WOM terhadap Minat Beli pada Situs Jual Beli Online Tokopedia yang Dimediasi oleh Kepercayaan Pelanggan

Influence of Information Quality and System Quality on the Use of Edmodo

This study aims to analyze the effect of information quality and system quality on trust, the effect of trust on the use of Edmodo, and the effect of information quality and system quality on the use of Edmodo, and analyze whether trust is a mediator or not. This study uses a correlational research design. The results showed that information quality and system quality were not significantly affected by trust, trust had a positive effect on Edmodo use. This research is expected to contribute to the study of information systems, especially in the use of learning technology through edmodo.

PENGARUH KUALITAS SISTEM, KUALITAS INFORMASI DAN KUALITAS LAYANAN HER REGISTRASI IGRACIAS TERHADAP KEPUASAN PENGGUNA

This research was carried out by using the model's success Information System which has been designed by DeLone and McLean (2003) by taking several required dimensions or variables. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of information quality, system quality, service quality Her Registration process to the satisfaction of a user (A Case Study of the iGracias application Telkom University). The sample used in this study were the students of Telkom University class of 2013, which at the time of the school year 2016/2017 be final year students so that more process Her Registration compared to other forces. The sampling technique using probability sampling, with probability sampling technique used is Proportionate stratified random sampling, so that the sample in this study were 371 respondents.
 The study proves that the information quality, system quality, and service quality significantly influence to user satisfaction simultaneously, as well as proving that the information quality, system quality, and service quality have a positive influence and significant to user satisfaction

INFLUENCE OF INFORMATION QUALITY, SYSTEM QUALITY, SERVICE QUALITY AND SECURITY ON USER SATISFACTION IN USING E-MONEY BASED PAYTREN APPLICATIONS

Nowadays technology grow extremely fast and it is helpful in communication and transactions, this effect to human behavior that people consider using technology intentively in daily activites cause of its facilities, one of facilities is digital economic transactions or e-money. Due to increasing of technology, there are some companies run their business form e-money based applications, one of the applications is the PayTren. The purposed of this research is to examine the satisfactory of the user who apply PayTren applications, such as the influence of information quality, system quality, service quality and security. The method of the research is based on DeLone and McLean models, then it will be modified. The research’s data is quantitative data. researchers collected 89 questionnaires from the population of PayTren application users in Batam by using a purposive sampling technique. The conclusion of the research show that there is an influence between the quality of information, service quality and security on the satisfaction of e-money users based on the PayTren application, while it is found that there is no influence between the quality of the system on the satisfaction of e-money users based on PayTren applications.

Measuring Students Satisfaction in Using Learning Management System

The purpose of this study to determine what are the influenced factors for student satisfaction on learning management system at a private university that operates online learning system. The research was conducted to find out whether there is influence of information quality, system quality, service quality, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and communication quality to student satisfaction toward learning management system. This study took a sample of 100 student respondents at the university. The used analytical method to test the effect is partial least square. The results show that information quality, service quality, and perceived ease of use have a significant effect on student satisfaction. Service quality is the most dominant factor that affects the satisfaction of students to learning management system.

Accelerating Transformation Program in Indonesian Regional Development Banks: The Importance of High-Quality Information

Objective – The role of Indonesia Regional Development Bank (RDB) as an agent of development in each specific operational area is expected to give a significant contribution to regional economics. The Transformation Program in Indonesian RDB started since 2015 is created to optimize the RDB’s role. This study is aimed to gain some description about the level of information quality in Indonesian RDB, to obtain real situation on the implementation of Transformation Program in Indonesian RDB, and to test whether the high-quality information will accelerate the implementation of Transformation Program in Indonesian RDB.Design/methodology – The study was conducted using data from the annual report of Indonesian RDBs and additional in-depth interview with RDB practitioners. The technique of purposive sampling is used in this study with the data availability criteria. The statistic analysis uses multiple regression with t-test and F-test to test the influence of information quality and some control variables on the implementation of Transformation Program in Indonesian RDB. Results – The Indonesian RDBs’ quality of information still cannot be perceived at a high level. The implementation of Transformation Program in Indonesian RDBs has already run in the first phase of foundation building with various obstacles. The high-quality information produced by financial reporting of RDB is proven can accelerate the implementation of Transformation Program in Indonesian RDBs. Research limitations/implications – The theoretical contribution of this study is giving empirical evidence that the information quality accelerates the implementation of Transformation Program in Indonesian RDB. The managerial implication is that Indonesian RDBs must improve their financial reporting system and create some innovations for the successful Transformation Program. The main limitation of this research is the limited scope of study. It is recommended to make further relevant research on the same issue in a wider context to get more enriched findings.Novelty/Originality – The area of implementation of Transformation Program in Indonesian RDBs has been insufficiently examined currently. Thus, this study contributes to this area by examining whether high-quality information produced by financial reporting will accelerate the implementation of Transformation Program in Indonesian RDB.Keywords Information Quality, Financial Reporting, Banking Transformation.

Investigating the Factors That Make a Fashion App Successful: The Moderating Role of Personalization

ABSTRACTOnline fashion retailers promote use of fashion apps among their consumers. However, dissatisfaction in using these apps is one of the reasons consumers uninstall them. This research studies the influence of information quality, service quality, and system quality on app satisfaction. Further, the influence of app satisfaction on purchase intentions is also studied. In addition, the moderating role of personalization among the three quality dimensions and app satisfaction is observed. Primary data were collected from 268 respondents. The results established system quality as the most significant factor influencing app satisfaction. Further, personalizing the app increased the influence of the three quality dimensions on app satisfaction.

PENGARUH KUALITAS INFORMASI, KEMAMPUAN INDIVIDU DAN NORMA SUBJEKTIF TERHADAP MINAT MAHASISWA JURUSAN ADMINISTRASI NIAGA POLINEMA

This research aims to analyze the influence of information quality, individual ability and subjective norms on student interest in using the internet as a reference source in preparing TA and thesis. This type of research is an explanatory research that shows the causal relationship between research variables by using hypothesis testing. The research population is the students of semester VI and VIII in Academic Year 2016/2017 with a sample of 76 respondents. The technique of collecting samples using random sampling and data collection using questionnaires.
