The mass transfer of specialized lexical units related to the activities of the European Union has taken place in the Polish language of the last two decades. The terminology created for Poland’s accession to the EU has not been analyzed in detail so far, nor is it included in the Polish dictionaries. For several years, I conducted a study, covering the corpus of collected lexical units defining the activities of the EU, consisting in an attempt to analyze them morpholexically and to systematise them. As a result, I divided the corps, among others, into official terms, confirmed in sources, and bruxellisms (2019) — equivalents of EU terms in the general language. In this article, I try to show, on selected examples, how the EU terminology in the Polish language evolves in the short term, what are the relations between the terms and bruxellisms and what changes are taking place within bruxellisms.
