RESEARCH ON THE MECHANISM OF RESILIENT LEADERSHIP'S EFFECT ON THE RESILIENCE OF SMALL TOURISM ENTERPRISES

Tourism, as a strategic pillar industry in our country, is critical in promoting economic development and labor employment. During the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" period, China will fully enter the era of mass tourism. This study focuses specifically on small tourism enterprises. Based on a review of the resilience of domestic and foreign enterprises, guided by relevant theories such as dynamic capability theory and resource allocation theory, and on the basis of redefining the concept connotation and extension of small tourism enterprises' resilience, tenacious leadership, inter-organizational learning, resource restructuring and environmental complexity, This paper builds a theoretical model based on the influence mechanism of resilient leadership and resilience of small tourism enterprises, describes and statistically analyzes the basic characteristics, current situation and existing problems of resilience of small tourism enterprises, and uses case analysis and empirical analysis methods to explore the impact degree and impact path of resilient leadership on resilience of small tourism enterprises. Finally, the study proposes measures to boost the resilience of small tourism enterprises, drawing from the findings of case and empirical analysis.

Comparison of Business Investment Value in Real Estate Industry

The global economy is in a downward trend due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the current war between regions, and worsening relations between countries. In 2023, China's leading real estate company, a pillar industry, will be unable to repay its debts. In the context of economic globalization, this paper will explore the impact of the real estate industry in the United States, analyze the investment value through several indicators, and analyze the data of four leading real estate enterprises in the United States, namely D.R.Horton, Lennar Corporation, LGI Homes and NVR. Through the calculation of EPS, P/E ratio, PEG ratio, revenue and EPS growth rate and GP/A ratio, these indicators are used to determine which company is the most valuable investment company among the leading enterprises in the US real estate industry. The research in this paper can not only identify the companies with the highest investment value, but also provide ideas for future research on other companies in other industries.

Research on identification, classification, and policy development for urban shrinkage: A case study of Liaoning Province, China

Under the influence of economic globalization and the transformation of pillar industries, cities are facing phenomena such as slow economic growth and population outflow, which indicate urban shrinkage. However, the theoretical framework for this phenomenon remains incomplete, and measurement standards are inconsistent. Therefore, studying urban shrinkage is of significant importance. This paper analyzes the current status and causes of urban shrinkage in Liaoning Province, China, and proposes an accurate model for identifying shrinkage. It utilizes a two-step diagnostic method that incorporates both one-dimensional and multidimensional approaches to identify shrinking cities and applies systematic clustering methods to categorize urban population changes. By observing and analyzing the population and economic data of 30 cities over 12 years, this study assesses urban shrinkage from the perspectives of population change and multivariate indicators. It identifies five cities with significant shrinkage, categorized into mild, moderate, and severe levels. Based on multiple linear regression and grey relational analysis, the study examines the impact of socio-economic factors on population changes and offers corresponding development suggestions.

Research on the health monitoring and maintenance strategy of highway structuresg

Under the current background of The Times, China's economic and social development presents a good situation, the construction of transportation infrastructure has been better developed, and the highway transportation industry has made outstanding achievements. At the present stage, the highway transportation industry has become an important pillar industry of China's national economy, and is an important guarantee to promote economic growth and facilitate people's travel. Highway transportation infrastructure is an important foundation for China's national economic and social development, especially in the process of "Belt and Road" construction, highway transportation infrastructure has played a vital role. Under the influence of the increasing number of expressways and heavy-haul transport vehicles, there are also some problems in the highway traffic infrastructure. Therefore, this paper studies and analyzes the health monitoring and maintenance strategy of highway structure, aiming to provide some reference for further improving the health monitoring and maintenance work of highway structure in China.

The Configuration Path of the New Rural Collective Economy to Promote the Common Prosperity of Farmers: Based on Qualitative Comparative Analysis Method and the Rural Cases in Zhejiang, China

The new rural collective economy is an important external mechanism for promoting the common prosperity of Chinese farmers. At the same time, the livelihood capital of farmers provides an essential internal support. Achieving an effective match between the two elements is a significant research issue. This article, based on the survey data from 1024 rural households in 43 villages in Zhejiang Province, China, defines the economic functions, social functions, management functions, and cultural functions of the new rural collective economy. The study employs the qualitative comparative analysis method to explore the role of the new rural collective economy in the promotion of the common prosperity of rural households. The necessity analysis shows that the single-factor condition is not the necessary condition for the common prosperity of farmers. However, the adequacy analysis reveals that the linkage and match between the new rural collective economy and the farmers’ livelihood capital can create multiple equivalent pathways for the farmers’ common prosperity. These pathways include the economic function-driven model of the new rural collective economy, the driven model of the high-level livelihoods combined economic functions, the joint model of social function and management functions, the natural capital-driven model, and the joint model of human capital and social capital. Based on these findings, this article proposes targeted governance strategies, including creating pillar industries, strengthening public management services, expanding the scope of social services, and building a coordination mechanism between the new type of rural collective economy and farmers’ livelihood capital.

A study of the Performance of Haier Smart under Digital Transformation

In recent years, the digital boom has continued to hit, and global scientific and technological innovation has been unprecedentedly intensive and active. On the cusp of this 5G trend, emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud sharing, and big data are emerging in an endless stream, constantly impacting traditional technologies and the real economy. The fourth industrial revolution has quietly penetrated into every corner of society. Both people's lives and the economic environment have been unprecedentedly affected. As an important pillar industry in the national economic construction, how to meet the digital transformation, seize the opportunity of digital transformation, enhance product value, and create new quality productivity has become particularly important. This paper takes digital transformation as the starting point, explores the motivation and path of Haier's digital transformation in the past ten years, and evaluates its performance. The study found that Haier Smart Home's digital transformation has improved the long-term performance of enterprises; the first enlightenment is to accelerate the transformation and upgrading and improve the degree of digital attention ; second, adhere to innovation-driven, enhance digital R & D sales; third, create a digital platform to enhance the user's personalized experience. It is expected that the research in this paper can provide some reference for the digital transformation of other household appliance enterprises and bring some help to the digitization of China's household appliance manufacturing industry.

Research on ecological restoration and its impact on society in coal resource-based areas: Lessons from the Ruhr area in Germany and the Liulin area in China

The coal resource-based areas rely on coal resources and primary processing as their pillar industries, such as the old industrial areas in China and Germany. Long-term, large-scale coal mining has significantly damaged the ecological environment of mining areas. Environmental restoration refers to repairing, rehabilitating, or revitalizing ecosystems that have been degraded, damaged, or destroyed by human activities or natural disasters. In fact, ecological restoration is not just an environmental issue and it is a societal problem. Ecological restoration is closely linked to natural resources, the environment, the economy, society, and politics. These factors form a social ecological system and it is the basis for local stability and sustainable development in the coal resource-based areas. In this process, the relationship between government, enterprise, and local people is constantly being reshaped and defined, then it causes changes in the local social ecology and political ecology. The paper researches the Ruhr area in Germany and the Liulin County in China, the former is a world-famous old industrial and the latter is a typical coal mining subsidence district. By analyzing and comparing the ecological restoration and significant social changes in the Ruhr area and the Liulin County at different periods, the findings show the unique ecology— social system of the coal resource-based area, then enhances the effective measures for ecological restoration and sustainable development of the coal resource-based areas.

A Study on the Correlation between R&D Investment and Financial Performance: A Case of the Chinese Automobile Manufacturing Industry

Under the background of economic globalization, China's manufacturing industry has always been one of the pillar industries of the national economy. The automobile manufacturing industry occupies a dominant position in the manufacturing industry. With the economic growth and improvement, the living standard of the population, people's demand for automobiles has gradually increased. Coupled with the current economic and social comprehensive green transformation and upgrading, for the automobile manufacturing industry, increasing R&D investment will help enterprises occupy the market and improve their financial performance. Therefore, this paper selects 64 Chinese A-share listed automobile manufacturers, with 320 samples. It uses Stata software to analyze the data of the relationship between R&D investment and various indicators. The empirical results show a negative correlation between R&D investment and the current financial performance of the automobile manufacturing industry. There is a lagging effect of R&D investment on the current financial performance of automobile manufacturing industry due to the existence of certain time problems with R&D projects. The negative impact of lag of period and a lag of two periods have a weakening trend. By studying and analyzing the data, it is hoped that suggestions related to R&D investment can be provided to the automobile manufacturing industry to promote the sustainable development of the enterprise.

Theoretical Basis of Digital Transformation of Manufacturing Industry based on the Perspective of Resource Agglomeration

Manufacturing industry, as the foundation of a country and the basis of a strong country, is the pillar industry of China's national economy. With the rise of a new round of industrial revolution, the digital economy era, follow the pulse of the times, and actively promote the digital transformation is to realize the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry is the way to go, but also to achieve China's economic development of high quality is an inevitable choice. At present, the foundation of China's manufacturing industry digital transformation is relatively weak, there is a general problem of "do not want to turn, will not turn, cannot turn". In the face of a turn on the death, not turn the dilemma of death, how to effectively and efficiently promote the integration of digital reality, the successful completion of the digital transformation of the current development of the manufacturing industry is a key issue that needs to be resolved. This paper analyzes the process mechanism of digital transformation of manufacturing industry based on the perspective of resource agglomeration, and analyzes the current situation of digital transformation of manufacturing industry and existing problems, and finally proposes relevant policy measures and research outlook. It aims to provide theoretical guidance and policy recommendations for the digital transformation of manufacturing industry.

Research on the Promotion Model of Jingning Apple Industry under the Background of Rural Revitalization

In the composition of Jingning county economic system in Gansu Province, "Jingning" apple industry is a pillar industry of economic development. Jingning Apple has always been loved by domestic customers, and gradually began to sell well in Southeast Asia and even Europe and the United States. Therefore, promoting the development of apple industry and optimizing the promotion mode of apple industry in Jingning are the primary tasks of developing county economy and realizing the strategy of rural revitalization in Jingning County at this stage. This paper focuses on the actual situation of apple industry development in Jingning County, and based on the concept of high-quality development, discusses the industrial promotion strategy of Jingning Apple under the background of rural revitalization, aiming at promoting the innovative development of apple industry in this region, enhancing the value of the whole industrial chain of Jingning Apple, and contributing to the rural revitalization strategy of Jingning County.

The impact of housing prices and land financing on economic growth: Evidence from Chinese 277 cities at the prefecture level and above.

With the rapid progress of urbanization in China, the real estate industry, characterized by a long industrial chain, has become a pillar industry for economic development. Therefore, we inspect the nexus between land finance, housing prices, and economic growth. For this purpose, we use the panel data of 277 cities at the prefecture level or above in China from 2011 to 2019, and empirically examine it by using the Panel Vector Auto Regression (PVAR) model. The results show that there is a causal relationship between housing prices and economic growth. Housing prices promote economic growth in the short term and inhibit it in the long term. Both economic growth and housing prices have a significant impact on land finance. The economic growth show a significantly positive impact, while housing prices promote land finance in the short term with a long-term trend from positive to negative. This is the first study that tries to probe the relationship between urban housing prices, land finance, and economic growth by considering 277 prefecture-level and above cities in China. To promote the stable development of the regional economy, local governments need to overcome their dependence on the housing market and land finance and promote the healthy development of the housing market.

The Path of Empowering Digital Industry with Green Finance for Green and Low Carbon Development

Green and low-carbon development is a consensus among countries around the world on the development of the digital industry. The digital industry, as a pillar industry of China's economy, is a high energy consuming and carbon emitting industry. Therefore, the green and low-carbon transformation of the digital industry is of great significance for China to achieve its "dual carbon" goals. The achievement of the "dual carbon" goal relies on the support of financial services, and green finance plays three roles in guiding resource allocation, market price discovery, and risk management in its development process, mainly including financial products such as green credit, green bonds, green funds, and carbon markets. By building a green financial system that meets the requirements of low-carbon transformation, exploring new growth opportunities in the process of low-carbon transformation, taking precautions, using green finance, enterprise information environment disclosure and other means to guide the rational allocation of funds, using market means for low-carbon investment, reducing investment risks in the process of green transformation, and promoting low-carbon transformation of the digital industry.

Degradation of edible mushroom waste by Hermetia illucens L. and consequent adaptation of its gut microbiota

The edible fungus industry is one of the pillar industries in the Yunnan–Guizhou Plateau, China. The expansion of the planting scale has led to the release of various mushroom residues, such as mushroom feet, and other wastes, which are not treated adequately, resulting in environmental pollution. This study investigated the ability of black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens L.) larvae (BSFL) to degrade mushroom waste. Moreover, this study analyzed changes in the intestinal bacterial community and gene expression of BSFL after feeding on mushroom waste. Under identical feeding conditions, the remaining amount of mushroom waste in Pleurotus ostreatus treatment group was reduced by 18.66%, whereas that in Flammulina velutipes treatment group was increased by 31.08%. Regarding gut microbial diversity, compared with wheat bran-treated control group, Dysgonomonas, Providencia, Enterococcus, Pseudochrobactrum, Actinomyces, Morganella, Ochrobactrum, Raoultella, and Ignatzschineria were the most abundant bacteria in the midgut of BSFL in F. velutipes treatment group. Furthermore, Dysgonomonas, Campylobacter, Providencia, Ignatzschineria, Actinomyces, Enterococcus, Morganella, Raoultella, and Pseudochrobactrum were the most abundant bacteria in the midgut of BSFL in P. ostreatus treatment group. Compared with wheat bran-treated control group, 501 upregulated and 285 downregulated genes were identified in F. velutipes treatment group, whereas 211 upregulated and 43 downregulated genes were identified in P. ostreatus treatment group. Using Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes and Gene Ontology enrichment analyses, we identified 14 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) related to amino sugar and nucleotide sugar metabolism in F. velutipes treatment group, followed by 12 DEGs related to protein digestion and absorption. Moreover, in P. ostreatus treatment group, two DEGs were detected for fructose and mannose metabolism, and two were noted for fatty acid metabolism. These results indicate that feeding on edible mushroom waste can alter the intestinal microbial community structure of BSFL; moreover, the larval intestine can generate a corresponding feedback. These changes contribute to the degradation of edible mushroom waste by BSFL and provide a reference for treating edible mushroom waste using BSFL.

Evolution Characteristics and Influencing Factors of City Networks in China: A Case Study of Cross-Regional Automobile Enterprises

The optimization of the spatial structure of the city network is conducive to the scientific spatial distribution of industries and the promotion of coordinated regional development. This study selected the top 100 automobile enterprises in the Chinese stock market that belong to China’s pillar industry, a total of 1455 headquarters and branches, to establish an enterprise matrix. Based on the ownership linkage model, the evolution characteristics of city networks in China from 2000 to 2020 are revealed, and the influential factors of city networks are discussed using the negative binomial regression model. The findings are as follows: (1) there are significant differences in the status of automobile cities, forming a “pyramid network” hierarchy. (2) The agglomeration area of automobile cities has formed the development region of “4 + 4 + 1”. (3) The city network with hierarchical connections has formed a spatial structure of a “cross–cobweb” in the middle and “trapezoid–diamond” in the periphery. (4) Urban transportation conditions, the scientific research environment, the enterprise agglomeration economy, GDP per capita, and technological proximity positively impact the formation of a city network, but the total export–import volume has a negative impact. Overall, the government can use this study’s results to formulate policies for the automotive industry and urban development.

Research on Green Production of the Iron and Steel Industry Based on DDF-BML Model

Although the iron and steel industry serves as the pillar industry of national economic development, the negative effects of its high emission and high pollution characteristics on the environment cannot be ignored. In order to achieve the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals at an early time and implement five priority tasks, including cutting overcapacity, reducing excess inventory, deleveraging, lowering costs and strengthening areas of weakness, it is urgent to realize the green production of the iron and steel industry. This paper takes listed iron and steel companies from 2016 to 2019 as research samples, and applies the two-stage Malmquist index based on the directional distance function (DDF) to measure the green total factor productivity (GTFP) of iron and steel enterprises. From macro and micro perspectives, the empirical model is used to explore the main influential factors of gtfp. The empirical results show that the overall gtfp growth rate of iron and steel enterprises is not ideal, falling behind at the end of the manufacturing industry. The promotion effect of R&D investment is limited, and the environmental carrying capacity of the production cluster area is approaching the limit. Based on the above empirical results, this paper proposes the following workable implementation path to the realization of the green production of iron and steel industry: On the one hand, the iron and steel enterprises should pay attention to improve technical efficiency, constantly improve low-carbon production process, optimize industrial layout. On the other hand, the government should guide the digital and intelligent development of the iron and steel industry and strengthen supervision to ensure the safety and stability of the supply of resources in the iron and steel industry.

Research on the Social Responsibility Report of Shuanghui Group

Food is an important pillar industry for people’s livelihoods. The food quality and safety of food enterprises are of particular importance. There is a consensus in today’s society that good social responsibility performance can reflect a company’s comprehensive management ability and future long-term sustainable development level. Based on China’s attention to corporate social responsibility, this article selects Shuanghui Group as the research object, analyzes the changes in its social responsibility reports, points out the problems and causes of social responsibility reports, and proposes relevant improvement suggestions.

Research on the relationship between carbon performance and financial performance of electric power enterprises under the background of “dual carbon”

Under the background of “dual carbon,” the power industry, as a pillar industry of the national economy, is ushering in changes. Based on the data of listed companies in the electric power production and supply industry from 2010 to 2020, this paper takes the operating income corresponding to each unit of carbon emission as the substitute variable of carbon performance (CP). After dimensionality reduction of 12 financial indicators through factor analysis, this paper establishes a comprehensive indicator of financial performance (FP), and establishes panel data to explore the relationship between CP and FP of electric power enterprises. To mitigate the endogeneity problem, 2SLS regression was performed using instrumental variables. The results show that CP has a positive and sustainable impact on the FP, which indicates that power enterprises need to pay attention to the long-term management of carbon emission reduction, so that the improvement of FP of enterprises can achieve sustainable development, which is in line with the expectations of Porter’s hypothesis and stakeholder theory. In addition, firm size plays a negative moderating role in the relationship between CP and FP. The research results provide a path and basis for encouraging power enterprises to improve CP and help China achieve the goal of “dual carbon” as soon as possible.

Evolution of spatiotemporal pattern of virtual water in the Yangtze River economic belt

Cross-regional water allocation within the river basin, coupled with the development of specialized industries based on comparative advantages, can effectively mediate overall water use efficiency. The uneven distribution of water resources and structural contradictions in water usage hinder the sustainable development of water resources in the Yangtze River Economic Belt (YEB). This study aims to address these issues from the perspective of virtual water trade, to facilitate cross-regional water resource allocation and guide structural adjustments in industrial water use, ensuring water security. In this study, we developed a dynamic multi-regional input–output model (MRIO) to explore dynamic change of virtual water trade pattern in the YEB that evolves over time. This model sheds light on evolving virtual water transfer patterns and the nuances of water resource pressure transmission. Additionally, it quantifies sectoral water use variations, pinpointing the cornerstone industries across different regions. The findings are as follows: (1) The pattern of virtual water transfer predominantly towards the developed downstream regions remains unchanged, but regional disparities are gradually diminishing. (2) The upstream regions of the YEB transfer more water resource pressures externally, while the downstream regions do not experience excessive external transfers of water resource pressures. (3) The pattern of Agriculture-driven virtual water transfers is gradually being disrupted. While the upstream regions continue to rely on Agriculture as their pillar industries, the downstream regions are progressively shifting towards tertiary industries such as Service. These results indicate that economic development is the primary driver of changes in the the pattern of virtual water transfer, and economic disparities are a key factor in shaping the latest virtual water transfer. Based on existing policies, there is a need for comprehensive coordination of water resource allocation and strengthening of virtual water trade exchanges between regions to address the uneven distribution of water resources. Additionally, it is necessary to resolve structural water use conflicts by developing specialized economic strengths based on the main industries for virtual water in each region.

2018–2021年湖北省恩施市烟田瓢虫、食蚜蝇数据集

Tobacco is a pillar industry in Enshi City, Hubei Province. However, in recent years, the increasing impact of diseases and pests on the yield and quality of tobacco leaves has been growing in Enshi due to climate change and the expanding scale of agricultural planting. Making good use of natural enemies is crucial for implementing green pest control and effectively reducing the negative effects of pesticides, which holds great significance for the sustainable development of the environment in Enshi. Coccinellids and Syrphidae, as important natural enemy resources, exhibit great potential for natural pest control. In order to evaluate the species and population dynamics of Coccinellids and Syrphidae in Enshi, we collected data on natural enemy insect resources from Enshi’s tobacco fields from late 2018 to late 2021 in the paper. All the data were obtained from five Malaise traps. The research covers the specimens of 1,079 predatory Coccinellids and 4,286 Syrphidae. Among them, 26 species of Coccinellids were collected, with 20 species and 6 genera identified. Additionally, there were 23 species of Syrphidae, with 18 species and 5 genera identified. The screening and identification of natural enemy insects were completed by professionals to ensure the data quality. The dataset provides information on the species, quantity, and different parts of the species of Coccinellids and Syrphidae natural enemies, along with specimen bottle photos. It can serve as theoretical basis for implementing comprehensive pest control strategies and using the natural enemy resource in tobacco fields.

TVP-VAR 모형을 이용한 중국 통화정책이 부동산가격에 미치는 파급효과

Since the reform and opening up, the Chinese economy has entered a stage of rapid development and people’s demand for housing has also risen in tandem. In particular, the real estate market has grown rapidly since the reform of the housing welfare system in 1998. In 2003, the real estate industry became the pillar industry of Chinese economic development and the real estate price rose quickly as it was driving the economy. The Monetary Authority has macroscopically controlled the real estate price for nearly 20 years since 2001, but the housing price still maintains a high-speed growth, and the irrational growth brings the housing price bubble, which is extremely unfavorable to the stable development of Chinese economy. Since the financial crisis, the government has called for tougher and better regulation of house prices. Monetary policy is the most common macro-control means. Monetary authorities generally use such tools as money supply, interest rates and exchange rates to control housing prices. However, how to control housing prices according to monetary policy and stabilize the outlook for housing prices are issues that need to be solved urgently. Therefore, it is important to explore the impact relationship of monetary policy on real estate prices. This paper sorts out the development process of Chinese monetary policy and real estate market over the past 20 years and makes qualitative analysis of the adjustment process of monetary policy. Relevant analysis showed that in the sample interval, money supply M2 showed positive (+) correlation with housing price broadly, while interest rate showed negative (-) correlation with housing price. Then this paper builds a time-varying parameter vector autoregression (TVP-VAR) model by selecting money supply, short-term interest rate and average selling house price (EP) as indicators based on national macro-monthly data from 2001 to 2022. Select a specific time point to analyze the impact of different types of monetary policies on housing prices from the perspective of evenly spaced shocks. The following results can be obtained through the analysis of the equidistant shock response. Firstly, the conclusion is obtained that the effects of quantity-based (direct) instrument and price-based (indirect) instrument on housing prices are both time-varying characteristics and large in asymmetry. The trend and degree of impact on housing prices before and after the financial crisis are different, and the two regulatory effects vary greatly depending on the timing of the monetary policy, so the regulatory effect of the monetary policy easing is greater. Second, in the short-term, both quantity-based (direct) instrument and price-based (indirect) instrument have a marked impact on the housing price, and in the long-term, both have a weak control effect on the housing price, the money supply quantity has a positive impact on the housing price, and the interest rate has a negative impact on the housing price. Thirdly, brother monetary and price quantity, looking at the results from lateral comparison with monetary policy, monetary policy than monetary quantity diabetes housing price bigger impact on money supply, interest rate market progresses, housing prices lowered sensitivity of higher sensitivity on interest rates as the empirical appeared.
