Formation of Football Talents in the Education System of Germany

The purpose of this study is to examine the key aspects of the talent development process in youth football within the educational system of Germany. Germany is renowned for its high educational standards and remarkable achievements of its athletes on the international stage. In order to accomplish this objective, a comprehensive set of interconnected methods, including analysis, synthesis, and generalization of scientific information pertaining to the specific issue, as well as educational and methodological literature and internet sources, were employed. The study reveals that a successful football career is the outcome of the interaction between two pedagogical systems: one that reflects an individual's educational endeavors and the other which relates to their sporting accomplishments. The step-by-step construction of the educational and sports systems, their common orientation, which enables constant multifaceted control and support of each young talent, optimally coordinates all areas of his life, promotes further harmonious development. It has been proven that the German model provides comprehensive support of the chosen professional path, the opportunity to study in the institutions that correspond to the preferences, aspirations and abilities of the individual. STANDARDIZATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION AS A SCIENTIFIC AND PEDAGOGICAL ISSUE: THEORETICAL ANALYSIS

The standardization of higher education as a scientific and pedagogical issue is theoretically justified in the article. It has been established that the basis for the development of higher education standards and their adaptation, taking into account the European experience, are legislative acts that ensure the functioning of the sector of higher education in Ukraine, didactic materials and scientific intelligence on the subject of the phenomenon under study. The idea of the relationship between the quality of educational services in the system of higher education of Ukraine and the acceleration of educational reforms is highlighted. The theoretical and terminological aspect of the standardization of higher education was analysed, and the issue of replacing basic educational concepts was identified, which as a result leads to misunderstanding of the processes both in the education system and in its individual branches. Possible directions (globalization, Europeanization and intercultural one) of the educational policy of Ukraine for the development of higher education standards and their specifics are revealed. It was determined that the standardization of higher education and ensuring its quality takes place in the conditions of a liberal model of educational policy, which simultaneously strengthens the ideas of academic freedom and social responsibility of educational institutions. Therefore, the state educational policy of Ukraine sees the standardization of higher education as a tool for socio-cultural and economic growth.

Educational sovereignty as a tool for ensuring economic security

The proposed scientific research addresses current scientific problems of the Russian educational environment in terms of ensuring the educational sovereignty of the country based on the application of the principle of lifelong education for a wide range of stakeholders. It is noted that in the conditions of sanctions restrictions in various sectors of the economy, continuous professional education, the main types of which are additional professional education and mentoring, ensure the achievement of national development goals based on the successful development of new knowledge, skills and competencies. Attention is focused on the fact that Russia’s current goal is to ensure high standards of education based on modern advanced technologies to achieve national development goals. According to the author, the modern world requires constant improvement of knowledge, skills and abilities aimed at achieving goals for the effective development of business entities. As part of this study, education costs were calculated in different countries, the level of education of the young population was analyzed by gender, and the number of graduate students by funding sources was also considered. The analysis process revealed unresolved systemic and industry risks that directly affect the process of ensuring the country's educational sovereignty. Conclusions are formulated that only new knowledge, skills and competencies can truly ensure the educational sovereignty of the country as a tool for ensuring economic security. The significance of the research results is that those responsible for making decisions in the field of the educational environment can use them to improve the quality of educational services and the involvement of young scientific personnel in solving national development goals

Forced to Go Digital?

With the global outbreak of COVID-19, not only were everyday museum practices affected like never before, but pre-existing problems in the education field were exacerbated. COVID-19 forced children’s museums in particular to take on even bigger educational responsibilities. Through examples from the United States, this paper analyzes how children’s museums came to fulfil their educational potential through their digital programming and related initiatives, thus also amplifying their civic engagement within their local communities. In addition to giving an overview of the available literature, the analysis found that during the pandemic children’s museums supported families of school-aged children and formal educational institutions, which were dealing with the effects of growing digital exclusion. This exclusion was alleviated througha range of digital and non-digital solutions, including virtual experiences and participatory family activities, delivering learning kits, and providing technical or physical infrastructure to school classes. By creating both digital and analogue surrogates for physical exhibitions and education, comparing initiatives and perceived purposes of these programs, the inherent cultural and human value of museums as essential human spaces—not just for objects, but for a high standard of education—can be seen.

Reminiscence of Education in Post-War Years: Sierra Leone as a Case Study

The main purposes of this paper are as follows: (I) to provide a historical narrative of Sierra Leone's educational system, (II) to assess the impact of war on the country's educational system and pace of development in the current digital age, and finally, (III) to offer some discourses for policy dialogue in embracing the developmental landscape of the country.
 Methodology. The study is based on a "narrative" approach to exploring the outcomes of the civil war that resulted in the complete disruption of the education system in Sierra Leone. 
 Results. The outcome of the study, which utilizes a narrative methodological approach, has captured pertinent areas of concern regarding the destructive legacy that the civil war brought to the country. Notable among these is the complete collapse of standards in the education system and, even more notably, the emergence of fake educational institutions. The results also draw attention to the positives of free education in creating equality in access to education for all. 
 Conclusions. The study outcome shows that Sierra Leone is making some steady progress in providing an inclusive education for that despite the bad memory that the civil war brought to the entire nation. Moving on, the study outcome noted that progress needs to be made in terms of embracing modern technology to address emerging developments in areas pertaining to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and many more. Also, to resurrect the country to its earlier glory of high educational standards, efforts must be made to raise the profile of those responsible for delivering the curriculum (teachers in particular), while at the same time ensuring high quality of graduates are made to enter through competitive salaries.

Formation of the Bachelors’ Communicative Competence Implementing the Informational Technologies in the Stidy Process

The purposes of the article. The new digital stage of society's development has caused a huge jump in information technologies. Now, for the efficient functioning of the economy and society, it is necessary to have well-formed communication competences. The methodology is based on such general scientific methods as analysis, synthesis, generalization, and the statistical method is also used. Scientific novelty. Electronic document management, e-learning and cloud technologies, the development and use of social networks cause a change in the content of education in the preparation of future specialists. The implementation of the competence approach in higher education, the formation of communication competence, taking into account the modern informatization of society, is very important. Of course, the acquisition of communication skills is regulated by the standards of higher education, because it is an important component of the educational process. For the specialty 029 "Information, library and archival affairs" for the first (bachelor) level of higher education, the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 12.12.2018 No. 1378 was approved, which determined the formation of communication competencies that will be needed by future specialists. The article analyzes the data of the experiment, which was conducted on the basis of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences West Ukrainian National University, to define the level of formation of students' communication competence in accordance with their use of information technologies during the educational process. Conclusions. It was determined that the overall understanding of the interpretation of the electronic information and educational environment is correct, but there is no formed attitude towards information communication competence as such. Also, students are very interested in information technology disciplines and have a desire to learn new subjects. Implementation of Feature Enginering and K-Mean Clustering Model in Predictive Analysis of Improving The Quality of Junior High School Education in Bogor Regency

In order to improve the quality of education. The government of the Republic of Indonesia has established the National Education Standard (SNP) which is the minimum criterion set by the government in the education system. SNP is a standard that must be met by every school and all stakeholders in managing and delivering education. Through data analysis using feature enginering and K-meann methods to predict the quality of junior high school education in Bogor Regency shows that the junior high school education standards in Bogor Regency are significantly influenced by the achievement value of 3 education quality standards, namely educator and education staff standards, facilities and infrastructure standards, and management standards. So that the education office of Bogor Regency needs to focus the direction of policies to improve the quality of junior high school education in indicators that affect these 3 standards. The results of the k-men clustering of school quality showed that junior high schools in Bogor Regency were divided into 2 major groups of education quality level, namely below the value of the 5.07 education quality level as many as 57.12% of junior high schools and the rest above the value of the 5.07 education quality level of 42.88% of junior high schools. Further development of the model needs to be further developed to the level of sub-indicators so that school quality can be more specifically measured, and the data used as analysis material is expanded and enriched by other educational data from various sectors so that the model developed can be more comprehensive in measuring the achievement of education quality.

Understanding data-driven decision making approach in Chinese higher education through the lens of Bakers model

Making decisions based on data is evolving in higher education worldwide. Higher education institutions (HEIs) in China are also adopting this trend of data-driven decision making to improve the quality standards in higher education. However, the data-driven decision making (DDDM) approach has recently evolved in China, and the data based decision-making models are still immature. Therefore, this study investigates the DDDM approach of Chinese HEIs through an established theoretical data model lens to highlight some of its immaturities and weaknesses for improvement. The study analyzes the DDDM approach in Chinese higher education by exploring the data-mining practices of a case study university. A leading Chinese university has been taken as a sample case study. The multiple interviews have been taken at both faculty and university levels to explore the DDDM practices. The results suggest that the Chinese university DDDM approach is consistent with the established Bakers model. However, the scope of data mining is limited in some areas when compared with the theoretical model. The university is also behind in using advanced applications and software required for DDDM. The results of this study highlight the DDDM approach in Chinese higher education and some of its immaturity. The results can be used to improve the DDDM approach in Chinese HEIs further to ensure more effective and efficient decision-making.

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH PRACTICE IN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR THE TRAINING OF MASTERS OF PHILOLOGY

Research practice as a component of the educational programs of the specialty «Philology» at the master's degree in higher education is analyzed, namely its place in the system of specialists' research skills formation. Descriptions of 80 educational programs for the preparation of masters in philology, introduced in 2019-2022 in six universities of Ukraine, were analyzed, particularly the presence of practice(s), which correlates with the defined purpose of these programs from the point of view of the masters' scientific and research skills formation. It was found that some educational programs don't include this kind of practice. The existing practices have various names not only in different universities but also in the same one; some of the names do not reflect the essence of this practice as scientific and research (production, pre-diploma, etc.). It has been proved that research practice should be a compulsory component of the master's educational programs in philology. The purpose of such practice should be subordinated to the broader task of forming the research competence of the philologist, taking into account the professional suitability of the future specialist, which is not limited to teaching philological disciplines in secondary or higher education. The content of the philological master's practice should be consistent both with the standard of higher education in philology for obtaining the master's degree and with the description of a specific educational program. The volume in ECTS credits (in some programs also the duration) of practice(s) has been clarified. It is suggested to conduct this practice in the middle of the curriculum – for educational and scientific programs at the end of the second semester or after it; so that the practice becomes a connecting link between the studied theoretical courses and future independent research, especially a master's thesis.

The article offers a description of the process of formation of research competence in students of higher education of the second (master’s) degree. On the basis of the State standard for the specialty 162 Biotechnology and Bioengineering and taking into account the content of the Educational and professional programs pharmaceutical biotechnology, ecological biotechnology and bioenergy, the significance of the research component in the structure of the professional competence of the Master of Biotechnology was clarified. The following feature was revealed: the research component of the entire competence system of the master’s degree of biotechnology and bioengineering it is essential for the formation of integral, general and special competencesIt is important that general theoretical scientific methods, as well as methods and technologies characteristic of biotechnological production, are used for their formation. The substantive significance of the educational discipline ″Methodology of scientific research and the foundations of intellectual property in the field of biotechnology and bioengineering″ the formation of research competence of those obtaining a master’s degree in biotechnology and bioengineering has been revealed. The meaningful algorithm of its formation has been specified. The most significant in this regard is knowledge about intellectual property, its legal protection: possession of the normative state and international base for carrying out scientific research in this field, the ability to patent inventions ets. The formation of research competence among undergraduates in biotechnology and bioengineering indetermined by the fact that the value of research competence lies in the actualization of the creative potential of an individual and the formations of his self-development. The article studies the efficiency of project technologies applied in teaching of Mas-ter’s Degree Students as well as the development levels of their soft and project-based skills following the analysis of literature on Psychology, Pedagogy, Methods of Teaching and best practices of teach-ing English to Master’s Degree Students of science and technology. The purpose of the study is to examine the development of soft and project-based skills in Master’s Degree Students of science and technology in teaching them English under the transition to online and blended teaching in higher school. The object of the research is the process of teaching English to Master’s Degree Students of science and technology; the subject is the development of soft and project-based skills when teaching English under the "Practical Course on Cross-Cultural Communication". Theoretical (analysis, systematization and generalization) and empirical (experi-mental learning, testing) methods were used in the research. As a result of experimental learning English, Master’s Degree Students of science and technology are able to apply up-to-date communi-cation-based technologies for academic and professional communication in the foreign language. It complies with the Federal State Standards in Higher Education.

Virtual Lab Simulator in Mechanical Engineering Education-Hybrid Approach

Many universities worldwide are partially disrupting their education by the spread of the coronavirus. Consequently, the Universities took the necessary steps to change their teaching methods to online laboratory experiments and workshops. However, universities should continue to maintain their higher education standards and provide a high-quality student experience required for the learning outcomes associated with each degree program. Adhering to online teaching methods for both theory and practical lectures has created a challenge in education. The discussion of the theory lessons by showing PPTs and video presentations was comfortable for students. In addition to that, virtual labs came into existence. These virtual labs had a significant impact on students' learning process, but this did not apply to all labs. This paper projects the outcome of the virtual lab using the explicit dynamic analysis application in solid works software and integration of AR & VR teaching techniques. This paper also includes the work done by the students and the effective outcome utilization of virtual labs compared with practical labs by using mild steel specimens.

Technology as a tool for assisting students with special educational needs to learn and like mathematics and science: a literature review

Students with Special Educational Needs are encouraged to achieve high academic standards in Mathematics and Science education to better understand the natural world, develop life skills, and achieve career success. In this regard, digital technology assists students with disabilities in achieving Mathematics and Science literacy. This article presents a systematic literature review on the role of technology in Science education for students with Special Education Needs. An extensive search in academic databases yielded 24 journal articles from 2006 to 2022. These 24 empirical studies’ were reviewed through electronic databases, including Scopus, ERIC, Google Scholar, and Science Direct. The findings demonstrate that using assistive technology in Mathematics and Science education had a major positive impact on students’ motivation, attitude, and academic performance. Positive learning outcomes probably depend on how digital technology is used, specifically the capabilities of each unique technological implementation. For evidence-based research designs in digitally supported learning environments for students with Special Education Needs, digital technology and its affordances are recommended, among other quality indicators.

THEORETICAL ANALYSIS OF THE CONCEPTUAL PRINCIPLES OF PROFESSIONAL AND PEDAGOGICAL COMPETENCES OF FUTURE TEACHERS OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

The article is devoted to the theoretical analysis of the conceptual foundations of the problem of formation of professional and pedagogical competencies of future teachers of vocational education. The relevance of diagnostics of the levels of formation of key competencies among future teachers of vocational education in the context of the new standard of higher education is substantiated, and an analysis of scientific research on the outlined problem is carried out.
 Competence characterizes the specialist's ability to realize their human potential for professional activity. Competence of a specialist with a higher education is the desire and willingness to realize one's potential (knowledge, skills, experience, personal qualities, etc.) for successful productive activity in the professional and social sphere, being aware of its social significance and personal responsibility for the results of this activity. activity, the need for its constant improvement. The article analyzes the concepts of "competence" and "competency", defines the essence of the concepts "competent" and "competence approach". The problem lies in the large number of definitions and the lack of a generally accepted one.
 In addition, the article analyzes the regularities of the functioning of the higher education system, considers the problem of criteria for determining pedagogical competencies. In the context of the formation of the professional competence of the future teacher of vocational education, its components are defined; the professional and pedagogical competencies specified among the program outcomes of study according to the new standard of higher education are explained. The essence of the formation of professional and pedagogical competence in the process of educational and cognitive activity according to the new standard of higher education is revealed. The content of evaluative competence, the essence of evaluative skills of a teacher of vocational education was analyzed, and the specifics of modular training were revealed. The need to develop a new toolkit for assessing the competencies of future specialists, teachers of vocational education is substantiated.

Electric vehicles and energy-saving technologies – master's degree program under the Erasmus project Cybphys

Problem. The quality of higher education is achieved by compliance with the conditions for the implementation of educational activities and learning outcomes with the requirements of legislation and higher education standards, professional and international standards, as well as the needs of stakeholders and society. Obviously, the requirements, recommendations and opinions of stakeholders play one of the main roles in the process of ensuring the quality of higher education. It should be noted that without ensuring and improving the quality of higher education, it is impossible to obtain accreditation of an educational program (EP) in the relevant specialty. Goal. Obtaining feedback from employers and representatives of the academic community with experience in working and teaching in 141 specialties "Electrical Power Engineering and Electromechanics" to improve the quality of education in the Master's EP "Electric vehicles and energy-saving technologies". Methodology. The method of questioning consists in obtaining information by means of written answers of respondents to a system of standardized questions. Methods of information processing and synthesis method - the study of an object in its integrity, in the unity and interconnection of its parts. Results. An analytical review of decisions on EP and publications on the introduction of innovative teaching methods and methods of maintaining the quality of the educational process into the educational process was carried out. In a number of educational components, the list of literature will be expanded due to the technical documentation of automakers and references to modern research by foreign authors. It is proposed to improve the existing and develop new laboratory and practical work on modern equipment purchased through the CybPhys project and on the equipment of interested employers. It is proposed to expand the practical component of the educational components of the EP related to the cycle of professional training disciplines. It is proposed to add the topic "Alternative power sources" to the cycle of disciplines of the applicant's free choice (professional training section). Originality. It is proposed to conduct practical and laboratory classes and conduct research on the topic of the thesis directly in production and in the daily work of service stations and car service. Practical value. Based on the results of the feedback received from stakeholders, appropriate changes will be made to the courses that will improve the quality of education and make the master's EP "Electric vehicles and energy-saving technologies" even more relevant and relevant for the labor market in the field of electric power, electrical engineering and electromechanics, in particular, with regard to the industry electric vehicles and energy saving technologies.

PSYCHOLOGICAL-PEDAGOGICAL AND PRACTICAL MODERN TEACHER TRAINING: RESULTS OF THE MONITORING STUDY

The article presents the results of the monitoring study on the issue of practical training of future teachers in higher pedagogical education institutions in Ukraine. The study is conducted by scientists of the Department of Content and Technologies of Pedagogical Education of the Ivan Zyazyun Institute of Pedagogical and Adult Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine in 2020-2022 within the framework of the research work "Substantiation of the content and methods of practice in higher pedagogical education institutions" (РK 0120U100228). The peculiarities of legislative regulation of practical training of future teachers in Ukraine are revealed. It is presented in the main provisions of the Concept for the Development of Pedagogical Education in Ukraine, Professional Standards of Teacher, Professor, Higher Education Standards, National Qualifications Framework, etc. The article describes the specifics of the organization of practice in higher pedagogical education institutions in correlation with psychological and pedagogical training at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral educational levels. It indicates the quantitative and qualitative changes in the practical training of specialists in the pedagogical specialty based on the analysis of educational and professional, educational and scientific programs for 2016-2022; outlines the negative aspects of its organization in modern conditions. Modern challenges in conducting various types of practice in higher pedagogical education institutions are identified. They are the following: the need to update the regulations on the organization of practice in teacher training, lack of adequate funding, discreteness of pedagogical partnership, insufficient resources for conducting practices in the context of mixed and distance learning, etc. Recommendations for improving the organizational principles of practice in the training of future teachers at the legislative, regulatory, managerial, and organizational levels are summarized.

Leadership matters in democratic education: Calibrating the role of Principal in one democratic school

Abstract Through a series of conversations, Fintan McCutcheon and Joanna Haynes explore McCutcheon's reflections on school leadership in the contexts of the Educate Together movement (in the Republic of Ireland) and, specifically, in his aspiration to build an optimally democratic school in Balbriggan. Much of the academic and professional literature on school leadership depicts the role of school leaders as expressing a strong vision for the school, with charismatic communication and strategic skills, and putting explicit emphasis on high educational standards. On the ground, the school leader is required to maintain executive governance standards, is accountable to a range of hierarchies and audiences and is in a custodian role to traditions of school culture and human resource relationships. Taken together, these academic, professional and contractual obligations can corral the school leader into practice of limited scope, obstructed by protocol, risk-averse and curtailed in creativity and, in relation to developing a democratic school, lacking in the necessary room for innovation. The conversation focuses on the rough ground of incident and messiness, identified through critical moments of school life when the aspirations to be democratic, to lead democratically, to teach democracy and to create a sustaining democratic school culture are lived-out. Through this dialogue, the conversants observe a practice of school leadership grounded in practical reason. The dialogue touches on and threads congruence between the on-the-ground risk-taking, rule-breaking, action orientation, nuanced dialogue, passionate engagement and deep reflection that characterise day-to-day school leadership practice. It concludes with ideas concerning the dynamics of forms of democracy that can prevail.
