ANALYSIS OF EMPLOYEE SAFETY, HEALTH AND WORK DISCIPLINE PROGRAMS ON WORK PRODUCTIVITY CASE STUDY AT PT. WISMA KARYA ANDALAS

This research aims to analyze the extent of the influence of the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) program and the implementation of the work discipline program on employee work productivity. This research uses a survey method, sampling using a purposive sampling technique, which is determining a sample from the entire population with certain criteria so that the results of the analysis produce a conclusion that the employee empowerment variable (X1) has a very significant influence on performance, the t-count value is obtained 3.508 with a significance value or probability value of 0.018, which is much smaller than 0.05. Then the work discipline variable (X2) on work productivity is obtained with a t-count value of 3.036 with a significance value or probability value of 0.025 < 0.05. Thus, the influence of the Occupational Safety and Health Program (X1) and Work Discipline (X2) on employee Work Productivity, the results of data analysis using SPSS obtained an F count value of 22.096 with a significance level of 0.000 or smaller than the significance level used, which is 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). This provides an overview that the variables of occupational safety and health and work discipline together have a significant influence on the work productivity of employees at PT. Pengaruh Beban Kerja dan Work Life Balance Terhadap Produktivitas Kerja Pegawai pada Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Tasikmalaya

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Workload and Work Life Balance on Employee Work Productivity at the Tasikmalaya Education and Culture Office. The method used in this study is causality, with a research sample of 64 respondents who are structural employees of the Tasikmalaya Education and Culture Office, by using primary data. The analysis tool used in this study was multiple linear regression using SPSS version 25. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that Workload and Work Life Balance simultaneously have a significant effect on the Work Productivity of Employees of the Tasikmalaya Regency Education and Culture Office. The workload partially does not have a significant effect on the work productivity of employees of the Education and Culture Office of Tasikmalaya Regency and Culture Office Employees and Work Life Balance partially has a significant effect on the Work Productivity of Tasikmalaya Regency Education and Culture Office Employees.

A Bibliometric Analysis: The Influence of Service Profit Chain (SPC) on the Hospitality Industry

In the hospitality industry, the service-profit chain establishes relationships between profitability, customer loyalty, employee satisfaction, loyalty, and productivity. It shows that focusing on employee engagement and customer satisfaction might boost a company's financial performance. This relates to how well the company supports and assists its employees. Several studies have empirically investigated the relationship between practices in the service profit chain and their impact on the tourism and hospitality industries. The service profit chain is based on the premise that market leadership requires an emphasis on managing value drivers that are the most important determinants of success: employee retention, employee satisfaction, and employee productivity, which have the greatest impact on success and provide the most benefit to customers. Bibliometric studies that organize production in this field, however, are still scarce. The study's goal is to analyze the influence of service profit chain practices in hospitality industry using VOSviewer software that is related to marketing. This will be achieved by analyzing articles published on the SCOPUS platform to determine state-of-the-art trends and other relevant indicators. Researcher obtained a sample of 57 materials for analysis. The author processed the data and used the VOSviewer software to graphically illustrate the results. The study examines country-wise productivity, most productive source titles, most-cited sources on the topic, top-most keyword occurrences, and yearly productivity research output trends in this area. The study findings indicate that the United States, China, Australia, Germany, India, Egypt, Malaysia, and Brazil are the most productive countries in the field of research output on the topic. The investigation also reveals that the top-most source title on the topic is “International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management,” and frequently used keywords are "articles,” “customer satisfaction,” and “service profit chain." On this topic, the USA is the leading country. However, research on the service profit chain and hospitality in Asia has shown that South Korea and China are the most successful countries in this field. Only the SCOPUS database contains the study's findings. The study's findings are useful for academicians, researchers, and policymakers looking for answers to the topic.

Effect of Managerial Coaching on Employees’ Productivity in Commercial Banks in Calabar, Cross River State

The study examined effect of coaching dimensions (task guidance, task feedback and employee support) on employee in-role and innovative performance, with role clarity mediating the effect of managerial coaching on employee productivity. Descriptive survey design was adopted and data collected from staff commercial banks in Calabar Metropolis, Cross River State using structured questionnaire. The validity and reliability of the instrument were ascertained using Cronbach alpha, convergent and discriminant tests. The sample size was 268 staff conveniently sampled from the population of 810. Descriptive statistics and correlation analyses were conducted using SPSS 25 and Amos 24 to analyse the data. The test of direct effects of the hypotheses was performed through multivariate regression analyses while the mediating effect was tested using structural equation modelling with Sobel estimations. The findings revealed that task guidance, task feedback and employee support had positive and significant effect on employees’ in-role and innovative performance. Also, role clarity fully mediated the connection between managerial coaching and innovative performance but did not reveal any mediating effect between managerial coaching and in-role performance. The study expanded the extant notion on the results of managerial coaching on employee productivity. The findings provided justification for the inclusion of coaching practices in organisations and suggest direction for understanding the motivation underlying these relationships.

An Empirical Assessment of Lean Readiness in Pharmaceutical Component Manufacturing SMEs

This study aims to determine the readiness and adoption scenario in Pharmaceutical Component Manufacturing (PCM) industry, particularly the SMEs based in Europe. A quantitative survey of 434 PCM SMEs from around Europe was conducted. At the same time, organizations' preparedness was assessed using key performance indicators (KPIs), and their adoption status was determined by the challenges they encountered while adopting lean and their perceived advantages. The principal component analysis and multivariate analysis of the hypotheses revealed gaps in KPIs in these businesses and significant barriers to achieving desired goals. Based on the findings, a framework that shows these companies how to be efficient was proposed. This framework includes using tools and practices to find and eliminate waste, optimize work, and enhance employee productivity. It also emphasized the permanency of continuous improvement, applying relevant tools, and employee empowerment.

The Impact of Facility Management Practice on Business Performance in Selected RETAIL Markets in Port Harcourt, Rivers State

The need to contribute to a deeper understanding of the multifaceted impact of facility management practices on retail business performance in Port Harcourt, Rivers State Nigeria necessitated this study. The aim is to ascertain the impact of facility management on the overall performance of the retail markets. The research endeavours to evaluate the prevailing facility management practices within selected retail markets using a mixed methods research methodology to ensure a thorough exploration of the subject matter. The study population comprised various stakeholders within the retail market sector, including retail market owners, housekeepers, porters, vendors, and facility managers. A sample size of 161 respondents was selected to represent the diverse perspectives and experiences within the retail sector. Data collection involved a combination of qualitative and quantitative techniques. Qualitative data were gathered through interviews, allowing for in-depth exploration of participants' perceptions and experiences. Meanwhile, quantitative data were collected via structured surveys. The study finds that facility management practices has not improved customer satisfaction or employee productivity in selected retail market as respondents were very dissatisfied or dissatisfied with the current level of facility support provided for various operational aspects of the supermarket. Findings indicate that facility management practices such as provision of safe environment, standard of cleaning in facility management, relevance of provided equipment, high performance/ productivity risk mitigation, responsiveness of the facility management team in addressing customer issues, effective utilization of space can impact the overall performance of the retail market. The study concludes that effective facility management practices is a determinant of success in the competitive landscape of the retail market and recommends the setting up of clear standards for facilities management practice in the supermarkets, effective communication with the users/owners, implementation of preventive maintenance, adoption of smart technologies in retail market facility management plan, and the establishment of a facility management department to coordinate uses and services of facilities in the retail market buildings.

This study examines the detrimental effects of organizational politics on employee performance and workplace dynamics. Through a qualitative case study approach and theoretical framework analysis, I investigate how power conflicts and political maneuvering within organizations can create a negative work environment, akin to a "cold war zone." ANALISIS TINGKAT PENGHASILAN, MOTIVASI, DAN DISIPLIN KERJA TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS KARYAWAN PADA PT PERKEBUNAN NUSANTARA III MEDAN

This study aims to analyze the effect of income level, motivation, and work discipline on employee productivity at PT Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan. Human resources are an important asset for the company, where productive employees play a key role in achieving the company's goals. However, in recent years, employee productivity at PTPN III Medan has declined, as evidenced by production levels not meeting the company's targets. The research method used is quantitative, with surveys as the data collection technique. Questionnaires were distributed to all employees of PTPN III Medan as respondents, and samples were taken randomly. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to see the effect of each independent variable (income level, motivation, and work discipline) on the dependent variable (employee productivity). The results of the study show that income level, motivation, and work discipline significantly affect employee productivity. Appropriate income levels, high work motivation, and good work discipline have been proven to increase employee productivity. Based on these results, the company is advised to improve employee welfare, provide motivational training, and enforce work discipline to increase productivity. Investigating Eco-Awareness and Green Human Resource Management: A Correlational Study on Sustainability and Workplace Performance

The main aim of this research project was to make everyone environmentally conscious, increasing the overall productivity, reducing the cost, increasing the efficiency and productivity of employees and sustainability. Moreover, it helped to implement green resource management at the workplace for employees to prioritise and protect the environment. Many variables were taken into consideration for the study. That included 1. Green Human Resource Management, 2. Green Purchase Intention, 3. Workplace Environment, 4. Motivation, 5. Performance, 6. Social Support, 7. Stress, 8. Job Satisfaction, 9. Voluntary Green Behaviour, and 10. Environmental Concern in a sample of 151 participants. The research used the theory of planned behaviour to look at how certain things are related. They used surveys with a 5-point Likert scale to measure these factors. The study included adults over 18 from different backgrounds. The gathered data underwent analysis through JASP, including descriptive analysis, t-tests, ANOVA, and correlation tests. The result shows that age is linked to job satisfaction and green organisational identity; area of residency is linked to environmental concern: and gender is linked to social support and stress.

Measuring the work productivity of Regional Head Protocol employees in the Protocol and Communication Section of the Bondowoso Regency Regional Secretariat Leadership is an important concern in the context of optimizing the implementation of protocol events and public services. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of coordination and job descriptions on work productivity through the work discipline of Regional Head Protocol employees in the Protocol and Communication Section of the Bondowoso Regency Regional Secretariat Leadership. The population and sample in this research were 50 employees, so the sampling technique used was saturated sampling or census. The research method used in this research is descriptive and verification methods. The data analysis technique used in this research is path analysis with the help of the SPSS application. The test results prove that coordination and job descriptions have a significant effect on work discipline and the work productivity of employees in the Protocol and Communication Section of the Regional Secretariat of Bondowoso Regency. Conceptual approach to the assessment of the economic effect from the implementation of digital economic forensics

Introduction. Digital economic forensics as a system of collecting and analyzing information about economic operations at enterprises using digital information systems and modern technologies of big data, artificial intelligence and digital learning allows timely detection of suspicious actions containing economic security risks and timely resolution of crisis situations, minimizing losses and appeal to law enforcement agencies. Currently, the implementation of such tools has not gained significant scale at Ukrainian enterprises, primarily due to the lack of awareness of the management of enterprises about the benefits of forensics, the lack of readily available standard software tools for the rapid implementation, the lack of the necessary training, and, in particular, the enterprise management’s lack of ability to assess the economic effect such tools. The purpose of the paper is to develop an approach to the assessment of the economic effect of the implementation of digital economic forensics at enterprises, which would take into account the key sources of such an economic effect at the level of the enterprise and the state, as well as the main probabilistic characteristics of correct identification, successful minimization and implementation of risks. Results. The paper has analyzed the key sources of economic effect from the implementation of digital economic forensics. For enterprises, that includes the minimization of losses and costs associated with filing claims with law enforcement agencies, the costs of responding to risks, improving reputation, preventing downtime and interruptions in activity, increasing the trust of counterparties, employee productivity, etc. For the state, that includes reducing the burden on law enforcement agencies, improving the economic indicators of enterprises and increasing tax revenues, reducing the level of economic crime, general improvement of the economic situation, etc. An approach to the calculation of the economic effect is proposed, which, thanks to taking into account the probabilities of correct identification, successful minimization and realization of risks, allows increasing the accuracy of the assessment of the actual and potential economic effect from the use of economic forensics tools. Conclusion. By taking into account the probabilities of correct identification, successful minimization and materialization of risks, the approach developed in the paper allows increasing the accuracy of the assessment of the actual and potential economic effect from the use of economic forensics tools. This, in turn, is a key to promoting the implementation of such tools at enterprises by creating the visibility of digital economic forensics value in enterprise management.

THE INFLUENCE OF JOB SATISFACTION AND WORK DISCIPLINE ON THE WORK PRODUCTIVITY OF PT EMPLOYEES. PP. LONDON SUMATRA INDONESIA TBK. KENCANA SARI PALM OIL MILL LAHAT

This study aims to examine the effect of job satisfaction and work discipline on employee productivity at PT PP. London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk. Kencana Sari Palm Oil Mill Lahat. This study uses associative research methods, with a population of 102 permanent employees at PT. PP. London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk. Kencana Sari Lahat. Using non-probability sampling method with accidental sampling, a sample of 81 respondents was obtained. Data collection methods include questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with F test, t test, and coefficient of determination at 5% significance level. The results showed that both job satisfaction and work discipline significantly and positively affect employee productivity. The regression equation obtained is Y = 2.556 + 0.346X1 + 0.469X2, where X1 represents job satisfaction and X2 represents work discipline. The findings suggest that improving job satisfaction and implementing work discipline can improve employee work productivity.

This literature review examines the effectiveness of remote and hybrid work policies in contemporary workforce management practices. The study aims to explore the impact of remote work arrangements on employee productivity, job satisfaction, and work-life balance, as well as to identify best practices for organizational leaders in managing remote and distributed teams. A systematic review of existing literature was conducted, drawing on peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, and academic books. The research highlights the benefits of remote work, including increased productivity and job satisfaction, attributed to reduced workplace distractions and enhanced flexibility. However, challenges such as social isolation and blurred work-life boundaries also emerge. Hybrid work models, combining remote and in-office work, are identified as a promising solution to address these challenges while maintaining opportunities for collaboration. Effective leadership, characterized by transformational leadership styles and proactive communication strategies, is crucial for facilitating successful remote and hybrid work arrangements. The findings underscore the need for ongoing research to explore emerging trends and best practices in remote and hybrid work policies, with a focus on the long-term effects on employee well-being and organizational performance.

Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Pelatihan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan CV. Wahyu Artha Technic

Human Resources (HR) is a crucial asset for every organization, including CV Wahyu Artha Technic. Effective HR management through good leadership and proper training is essential to achieve company goals. This study aims to explore the relationship between leadership style and job training on employee performance at CV. Wahyu Artha Technic, West Java. Data were obtained through questionnaires completed by 65 respondents in May 2024, with a 100% response rate. The results showed that participative leadership style and timely job training have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Sales data shows fluctuations from year to year, which is closely related to the lack of training and ineffective leadership style. A survey of respondents showed that employee performance can be improved through opportunities provided by leadership to convey feedback and complaints. Training that is relevant to operational needs and technological developments is proven to improve employee competence and productivity. The conclusion of this study is that good leadership style and structured job training significantly improve employee performance at CV. Wahyu Artha Technic. The recommendations of this study include the importance of effective communication between management and employees as well as the development of continuous training programs to maintain employee competence and motivation. Implementation of these strategies is expected to optimize overall organizational performance.
