University Education Management System Exploration and Practice Based on Big Data Analysis from the perspective of Humanism

At present, the lack of humanism in my country’s higher education management concepts and models is a direct manifestation of the lack of humanism in my country’s higher education management mechanisms and activities. There are many reasons for this problem, including the negative influence of traditional culture, the negative influence of the market economy and the defects of education management mechanism. Therefore, we should establish a “people-oriented” education management concept.“With the support of Internet information, by strengthening the personality shaping of the main body of education management, we will carry out people-oriented education management activities to help Chinese universities build education management under the “people-oriented” concept system”. This article first analyzes the necessity of implementing education management system in universities from the big data. Then, the current problems are analyzed. Finally, some suggestions were made.

Informatization Construction of University Archives Management under the Background of Information Age

With the rapid development of modern computer network technology, the management of colleges and universities has also entered the information management era. How to efficiently use modern network technology and database technology to improve the informationization level of the student status file management system has also become a research hotspot of many scholars at present. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to study the informatization construction of university archives management under the background of information age. Based on the actual requirements of information campus construction, this paper investigates the current situation and existing problems of archives management in colleges and universities. According to the present situation of archives management, an information-based university archives management system is designed, in which all students’ archives are stored in the campus service center to prevent loss and facilitate management. Its purpose is to store the relevant information of students’ personal files through information technology, so as to facilitate the management of students’ personal files. In this paper, Hadoop is used to distribute massive data, and HBase distributed database is deployed to realize a campus archive information management system based on cloud computing model and information processing. The basic functions of the management system include registering related information, borrowing and returning files, transferring out files and inquiring files. Finally, this paper compares the information university archives management system with the traditional management system. The experimental results show that the information university archives management system has larger storage space, higher data processing efficiency, faster data processing time than the traditional management system by 50ms-100ms, and higher safety factor. This greatly speeds up the construction of the digital campus archives management system, and is an important measure of China’s higher education under the informationization tide.

We use education management service is to ensure the normal development of education management in Colleges and universities, to support and guarantee its role.In the establishment of the corresponding system, we are involved in all aspects of the problem, which is very complex.In theory, we include school education, network security and social environment and other aspects.Based on these factors and causality, we propose a simulation model which can dynamically analyze the role of students in education management services.Our simulation results are in good agreement with the actual results, and we propose an improved scheme based on the experimental results.With the development of science and technology, artificial intelligence technology is also in continuous progress, now all fields of talent at all levels are studying artificial intelligence technology, and have different views on it.From the current trend, we can see that in the future, artificial intelligence technology will certainly involve all aspects of people's life, and play an obvious role in improving people's quality of life.At the same time, artificial intelligence technology can also be applied in the education industry. The combination of human intelligence technology and education management technology makes the management of education more leisurely and active, and can promote the development of education management.However, with the integration of artificial intelligence technology and education management technology, there will be a series of negative problems and privacy leakage risks, which also brings some challenges and difficulties to the education management industry.

Peculiarities of the transition to the methodological type of university education in different cultures

It was pointed out that there is a need to move from expert to methodological culture in higher professional education. The essence of this way of education is not knowledge about entities, but patterns and tools for knowledge management. The importance of the development of a methodological culture for creating growth areas inside and outside the existing education system and for a fundamental change in the management system of universities is emphasized. The basic models of universities are investigated by the structural method based on the matrix of values of the key cultures of the world. The search for mechanisms of transition to higher methodological education in Russian culture has been carried out. One of the mechanisms of such transformations is the transition to the authentic Russian culture when students select professors and inversed process when professors select students and universities’ leadership by the locals.

Assessment of the management System and Operation Mechanism of Physical Education in Selected universities of Zhejiang Province

Competitive sports in colleges and universities is an important part of competitive sports in China, and it undertakes the important task of training high-level international first-class athletes for the country. Based on the analysis of the present situation of competitive sports management system in colleges and universities in China, this thesis points out that the management system of competitive sports in colleges and universities has been difficult to meet the needs of international competition, and there are some problems such as too centralized management authority, low degree of legalization and shortage of funds, etc., and puts forward corresponding measures to improve the management system of competitive sports in colleges and universities, with a view to further improving the management level of competitive sports in colleges and universities and promoting the vigorous development of competitive sports in colleges and universities.

Practice and Exploration of Quality Management System in Higher Vocational Colleges from a Perspective of ISO9001

Higher vocational colleges as the base for high-skilled talents cultivation, the quality of its graduates have attracted more attention from the society. The quality control is the critical factor for higher vocational colleges to improve their core competence. However, there are many overlapping funcations among administrative departments, which leads to unclear and unreasonable division of responsibilities due to its specific mechanism and system of higher vocational school. This reveals that the quality assurance in higher vocational colleges should be improved urgently under the background of China’s high-quality development strategy. In order to provide a good education and improve education quality, higher vocational colleges need to change managing concept and improve inner management reform. Establishing a quality assurance system which complies with the ISO 9000 standards or total quality management will become an important base in achieving excellence for higher vocational colleges. This paper utilizes ISO9000 standard and the ISO14000 environmental management system to analyze factors for the total quality control in higher vocational colleges, establishes a complex quality management system from the perspectives of total quality management and improves effects of the quality on teaching and management.

Student Participation in Computing Studies to Understand Engagement and Grade Outcome

Aim/Purpose: This paper focuses on understanding undergraduate computing student-learning behaviour through reviewing their online activity in a university online learning management system (LMS), along with their grade outcome, across three subjects. A specific focus is on the activity of students who failed the computing subjects. Background: Between 2008 and 2020 there has been a multiplicative growth and adoption of Learning Analytics (LA) by education institutions across many countries. Insights gained through LA can result in actionable implementations at higher institutions for the benefit of students, including refinement of curriculum and assessment regimes, teacher reflection, and more targeted course offerings. Methodology: To understand student activity, this study utilised a quantitative approach to analyse LMS activity and grade outcome data drawn from three undergraduate computing subjects. Data analysis focused on presenting counts and averages to show an understanding of student activity. Contribution: This paper contributes a practical approach towards LA use in higher education, demonstrating how a review of student activity can impact the learning design of the computing subjects. In addition, this study has provided a focus on poor performing students so that future offerings of the computing subjects can support students who are at risk of failure. Findings: The study found that: • Collecting data relating to student activity and analysing the activity is an important indicator of engagement, with cross referencing the data to grade outcome providing information to support modification to the learning design of the computing subjects. • The computing subjects in this study all had the majority of the as-sessment marks awarded at the later part of the study period. • Students that fail subjects are active within the LMS for the period of the subject even when they submit no assessments • Assessment weight and the time of delivery could influence the out-comes Recommendations for Practitioners: The collection and analysis of student activity in the LMS can enable learning designers and practitioners to better reflect the subject design and delivery to provide more informed ways of delivering the learning material. Recommendation for Researchers: Collecting LA requires a thought-out process, designed well in advance of the teaching period. This study provides useful insight that can impact other researchers in the collection of assessment related analytics. Impact on Society: The cost of education is expensive to those that undertake it. Failing, although expected, potentially can be reduced by examining how education is designed, delivered, and assessed. The study has shown how information on how students are engaging has the potential to impact their outcomes. Future Research: Further work is needed to investigate whether intervention may assist the poor performing students to improve their grade outcomes relative to activity levels, subsequently impacting their retention.

Design and Implementation of University Central Kitchen Logistics Management System

In order to improve the level and efficiency of university catering management, the central kitchen model is introduced into university catering logistics management, and on this basis, the logistics management information system based on central kitchen mode is proposed. This paper first analyzes the shortcomings of traditional college food management mode and introduces the concept, factors and characteristics of the central kitchen management mode. Then the requirements of the central kitchen management system are analyzed comprehensively and the requirements are modeled by UML. Combining the central kitchen management mode with information technology, the realization scheme and technical route of the system are discussed. The software structure, data model and workflow of the system are designed. Based on the above design and B/S mode, we developed the corresponding software system. The results show that the system improves the work efficiency and reduces the cost. The university logistics management system based on central kitchen has high practical value and application prospect.

University Canteen Supervision and Management System Based on Wechat Applet

With the gradual expansion of the scale of colleges and universities, the contradiction between management mode and management efficiency has become increasingly prominent. Wechat applet as a mobile terminal violation information collection system is more efficient and convenient, and also solves the problem of mobile terminal cross system. It processes and summarizes the data information on the web end, and provides data support for the management decision-making of the canteen.

Development of Intelligent Alumni Management System for Universities

Alumni unit information management system allows communications between colleges and graduates. It represents way of how university can be in touch with its graduates. Further, it is a system to communicate a space for graduates where they could exchange thinking and opinions of any subject. Through their system, alumni can discover new employments opportunities they can apply for them. Alumni can also publish any announcement approved by system administrator. The system should collect information about working experience of graduates. It can improve communications and facilities teaching process. The current design focuses also on security, usability and accessibility.

Research on Crisis Management Strategy of Public Health Emergencies in Colleges and Universities from the Perspective of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory

As the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic is shifting to normalized prevention and control, how to conduct crisis management of public health emergencies on the basis of respecting and meeting the daily needs of students is a major problem and challenge faced by college administrators. This article is guided by Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory, from the perspectives of physical health knowledge popularization, psychological guidance services, "ownership" development platform, realization of multiple forms of respect, precise assistance, and proposes pertinence to the current crisis management system of colleges.

Higher education in China: Institutions and mechanisms of the state and party management

The higher education of China has achieved significant results in recent years. Therefore, it is important to study management of this system and basic mechanisms used by the party and state institutions. The article is based on the analysis of open data sources, including official documents on the development of the higher education (laws, national programs, projects and plans), and the results of the Russian and Chinese scientific research. The authors consider state and party institutions as a unified system of the education system management: central and local party institutions, party organizations of the central and local government and primary organizations of the party (CPC), central and local executive authorities of the state. Party institutions of the higher education management include executive bodies of the CPC and the local provincial party committees, party organizations of the central and local governments (Ministry of Education and other State Councils structures, local peoples governments) and primary party committees of universities. State administrative bodies in the higher education include central (State Council of the PRC including Ministry of Education and other institutions) and local administrative bodies (local peoples governments, including education committees of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities under the central government). The main mechanism that determines activities of the party bodies and the state university management system consists of special projects and plans. The authors present five main plans for the development of the higher education system in China and identify their features and goals.

Does Organisational Climate Improve Quality Management Practice? Empirical Evidence from Egyptian Higher Education

This study investigated the influence of organizational climate on quality management practices in Egyptian public universities. The study used a quantitative research design method. The sample consists of 150 respondents selected through both stratified sampling and simple random sampling to get a real population representation and minimization of the sampling bias. The research used the questionnaire as an instrument that involved 23 items, distributed to four disciplines: staff freedom, resource adequacy, decision making participation, and quality management practice for data collection by the researcher. The instrument was validated by experts from the Department of Education, Utara Malaysia University, through the face and content validation. Data collected were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) which was employed for data analysis method through AMOS statistical software based on the parametric SEM in AMOS 22.0. Findings from the study revealed that resource adequacy has a significant and positive effect on quality management practices. Meanwhile, decision-making participation has no significant effect on quality management practices. Furthermore, the study indicates that male academic staffs have a significantly higher level of organizational climate than female academic staffs in the Egyptian Higher institution. It was recommended that the university management systems be developed and it is the climate in the light of quality management stander and giving academic staff a clear role in expressing their opinion as conducting discussion plans on decision making with the participation of all employees' levels at the university.

Research on university laboratory management and maintenance framework based on computer aided technology

The management and maintenance of university laboratory is an important part of university work. With the rapid development of computer technology, computer-aided technology is widely used in the management and maintenance of university laboratories. This paper first analyzes the current situation of university laboratory management and maintenance, and points out the importance of computer-aided technology to manage and maintain university laboratory. Then, through the introduction of the Internet of things, the information collection, sensor technology, and other modules are used to build the university laboratory management system. Finally, by giving the credit security evaluation model of university laboratory management, the experiment of university laboratory security maintenance is completed on the data of different years. The experimental results show that the model constructed in this paper can evaluate the security situation of university laboratory management well. Through the use of the management framework and safety assessment and maintenance model, colleges and universities can ensure the orderly operation of the laboratory, through effective management and data analysis, reduce the potential safety hazards in the laboratory, and avoid unnecessary security problems.

A guarantor in the quality management system of educational programs: a case of Ukrainian universities

Development of the system of ensuring quality in higher education of Ukraine grounded the creation of such management subject as a guarantor of the educational program. However, a formal understanding of the role and uncertainty of the guarantor’s status in the contemporary area of managing higher education institutions became the widespread consequence of those innovations. Considering the stated above, various models of managing the quality of educational programs with the help of the guarantor have been developed in the research, and conditions for efficient application of such models in Ukrainian universities have been grounded. The research is based on the application of the strategic analysis method GAP for identifying issues and features of organizing management in systems of internal quality assurance in universities, and methods of modeling and graphical analysis method for creating alternative management systems in educational programs with and without such professional educational-scientific structural subdivisions as departments. As a result, the developed models include the rational organization of management of educational programs under the conditions of centralized and decentralized systems of internal educational quality assurance provision. For instance, it could create favorable conditions for decreasing bureaucracy and repetition of functions in the management system of universities and lead to the realization of the individual potential of guarantors as managers-experts in educational programs. Process Approach in Managing the Quality of Education

Purpose: The aim of the article is to present a proposal for a model of educational quality management system using a process approach for technical universities too. Design/Methodology/Approach: The theoretical part of the article discusses the issue of an education quality management system for technical universities in terms of processes. Further, the activities carried out by universities in the field of the teaching process were identified. A top-down method was used to define the general areas of the universities' didactic activities. In the next stage, the processes carried out at a technical university were divided into managerial, core and suppository ones. Findings: On the basis of a case study, it is possible to apply a process approach to the management of educational activities. Practical Implications: The proposed system of education quality management using a process approach together can be implemented in every technical university. Originality/value: The research conducted at a selected technical university allowed for the development of an original model of an education quality management system based on a process approach. This is a new model proposed for an institution operating in the field of higher education. In practice, such institutions are managed based on classical, vertical, and organizational structures.

Research on Innovation of Human Resource Management Mechanism in Colleges and Universities Based on Computer Aided Technology

The era of knowledge economy puts forward new requirements for the management of human resources in colleges and universities. The human resources management system in universities must be innovative in order to promote the development of higher education. This article describes the innovation of the human resource management mechanism of colleges and universities based on computer-assisted technology, and proposes measures to establish a mechanism to improve the total talent resources in College resources, the optimization and update mechanism of existing human resources in colleges and universities, and the innovation resource management mechanism.

COVID-19 and Online Learning: A SWOT Analysis of Users’ Perspectives on Learning Management System of University of Education, Winneba, Ghana

This study investigated users’ perceptions of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Learning Management Systems (LMS) based on SWOT. The study adopted the explanatory sequential mixed methods which sampled 3272 students and 20 lecturers by using the stratified and purposive sampling techniques, respectively. The study used questionnaires and semi-structured interview guides to collect quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data were analyzed using Means and Standard Deviations, Independent Samples t-test, and ANOVA. The qualitative data was analyzed thematically. The study found that UEW LMS is perceived to have elements of weaknesses and threats as well as strengths and opportunities. The study further found that the users of LMS differ in their perceptions in terms of SWOT based on students’ age. The students, however, did not differ significantly in their perceptions of SWOT based on gender. The study recommended that the management of UEW LMS need to educate both lecturers and students about the benefits that LMS offers to its users. Management of the UEW should make the usage of the LMS compulsory for teaching and learning while taking into consideration the age, level as well as the programme of study in the design and implementation of subsequent online platforms for students and lecturers.

The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate the concept of a graduate’s satisfaction profile with educational programs, which includes a number of parameters. This concept is proposed to be introduced in connection with monitoring the satisfaction of university graduates with educational programs. The methodology for measuring graduate satisfaction is based on the use of quantitative (questionnaires, the results of which are processed in SPSS) and qualitative (interviewing) methods. Graduates’ satisfaction with the quality of higher education is considered as a subjective assessment of the quality of their education. The proposed and tested methodology can become the basis for the development of a university system for monitoring the satisfaction of university graduates with educational programs and a university quality management system.

Discussion on the Construction of Information Management and Information System Course under the Background of a New Generation of IT

The new-generation information technology represented by the Internet, cloud computing, big data and artificial intelligence has become the mainstream trend in the IT field. The development of the times have changed the direction of enterprises' demand for talents in information technology. The purpose of this article is to study the training objectives and curriculum reform of Information Management and Information System of typical universities under the context of new-generation information technology, to provide experience and referential suggestions for the construction of current Information Management and Information System major in China.
