Abstract

The phenomenon of information culture in modern scientific discourse was examined. The fundamental approaches to its comprehension were elucidated. The structure of information culture, comprising information literacy, information competence, and ethical norms in the utilization of information and communication technologies, as well as information itself, was analyzed. The directions for shaping information culture as a significant social issue were defined.
