Abstract
In the proposed paper, the partial results of a research study on the quality of organizational climate in vocational schools as perceived by Slovak vocational school teachers are presented. The authors attempted to verify a hypothesis presuming the existence of statistically significant regional differences in the evaluation of school openness by teachers. For the purposes of the study, the adapted version (Gavora, Braunová, 2010) of the OCDQ-RS scale by Hoy, Tarter, and Kottkamp was used. The obtained results confirmed the existence of differences according to self-governing regions, which is an important finding for school leaders, as well as policy makers from the aspect of introducing measures on school, regional, and national levels.
