Abstract

The paper focuses on the self-assessment of traumatic symptoms in children from 8 to 16 years of age who, as part of institutional or protective education, are placed in substitute educational care facilities. The research was conducted using the standardized questionnaire Assessment of Traumatic Symptoms in Children and Adolescents TSCC-A (Briere, 2022). The aim of the research investigation was to determine, find and compare differences in the self-assessment of traumatic symptoms in the selected group on a sample of 101 children and adolescents. The article reflects the key aspects related to this research.
