Abstract

Objective To discuss the effect of treating chronic cervicitis by radio-frequency by electroconization.Methods Cervical hyperplasia imflammatory tissue was resected annularly and taperly by radio-frequency.All of the resections were examined for pathology.Treatments were 174 cases and follow-ups were 152 cases.Average follow up time was 12 months(1 month to 18 months after operation).Results Primary healing rate of cervical erosion was 99.99% after operation 3 month,Infection rate after operation was 2.11%.Conclusion Healing rate of chronic cervicitis by radio-frequency by electroconization is high,which is safe.Operation process is simple and the complication is low,so it is suitbal to be extended in basical hospitals.
