Current state and prospects of innovative industry development of Ukraine

Purpose. The purpose of the study is to analyse the development trends of Ukrainian industry and identify ways to solve existing problems based on the intensification of innovation processes. Methodology of research. During the research methods generally accepted in economic science were applied, in particular: statistical and graphic – for definition of Ukrainian industry development tendencies; comparative analysis – to compare the Ukrainian industry and the world; system generalization – in substantiating the directions of industry innovative development intensification. Findings. The current trends in the development of industrial production in Ukraine, which are characterized by falling production volumes and negative changes in the structure of the industry, are revealed. The reduction of industrial production is revealed, which occurs mainly due to the curtailment of the processing industry enterprises activity. Negative changes in the structure of the industry are revealed, among which the increase in the share of low-tech productions with a significant decrease in medium-tech and moderate –high-tech ones are highlighted. Based on the correlation between industrial production indicators and GDP dynamics, it is proved that industry forms the foundation of the country`s social and economic development. It was found that the Ukrainian economy lags far behind the development of the world`s leading countries in terms of its material, resource, and energy intensity. The article proves that the issue of industrial development based on the intensification of innovation processes in Ukraine needs radical changes in reforming the management mechanisms of innovation processes and relations between science, society, business, and government to intensify investment activities support the technological development of industry, the introduction of environmentally friendly production. Originality. The analysis of the state of Ukraine`s industry and substantiation of the need for its innovative development was further developed, in the context of which measures were proposed to intensify innovation processes, which, in addition to existing ones, provide for the formation of a managing mechanism for innovative industrial development; coordination of industrial sector development policy with the goals of sustainable and inclusive development; introduction of environmentally friendly industrial production; expansion of cross-border economic and environmental cooperation; development of the strategy of development of the industry of Ukraine taking into account the European experience. Practical value. The results of the study are the basis for solving practical problems of improving the situation and the transition to innovative industrial development in Ukraine. Characteristics of the community resource of the city of Myrhorod in Poltava region

The article describes the characteristics of the resource potential of the city of Myrhorod, Poltava region. It is determined that the priority of the direction of urban development is the rational use of resources. In order to create effective living conditions for the community, public authorities and local self-government must improve the effectiveness of their application and promote sustainable development of the territories. Summarizing the views of scientists, it is concluded that the resource potential of cities include: natural resource, demographic, socio-infrastructural, production, technical, investment and innovation. Myrgorod city resources were monitored by collecting data characterizing the state of the system, analyzing and proposing management decisions. It was determined that in order to improve the work of population self-organization bodies, in 2004 the city council of Myrhorod started work on uniting street and house committees into councils of neighborhoods. The city has 7 councils of neighborhoods, bringing together 255 street and house committees. The city received new town planning powers within the framework of the decentralization of the State Architectural and Construction Control System. In 2019, the population of Myrhorod was 39.5 thousand people, there are 8 sanatorium-type resorts located in its territory, and 10 establishments in the sphere of culture. The city is located at the intersection of Gogol tourist routes. In 2018 the municipal non-profit enterprise "Mirgorod City Center of Primary Health Care" was created. Food and processing industry prevails in the structure of industrial production in Myrhorod. The main direction of city development is attraction of investments into economy. Suggestions are made to optimize the use of the resource potential by the city community. It is proposed to make an inventory of communal property of the community of Myrhorod for its use and measures for leasing or alienation of unused property are given. This will allow additional use of unused resources, increase budget revenues and optimize funds for their protection.

Tracing the sources of air pollutant emissions embodied in exports in the Yangtze River Delta, China: A four-level perspective

Investigating the net effects of foreign trade on the local environment requires a multiscale perspective. Increasingly, scholars have been investing effort to establish a global–national–local system of linkages or a local–nonlocal division of linkages. However, analysis at the megaregion level has somehow been overlooked, although megaregions play a substantial role in the context of accelerating regional integration and increasing regional pollution. This study incorporated megaregions into the existing multiscale input-output model and constructed a four-level analytical framework to analyze the emissions embodied in exports (EEE) in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region. Since this region pioneered the economic transition in China, this study further applies structural decomposition analysis (SDA) to investigate the structural changes in EEE. The empirical results show that EEE in the YRD region was mainly affected by local and cross-border linkages, which account for 85.1% and 9.8% of the total EEE in the region. The increase in local EEE linkages needs to be reduced by local technological innovation in sectors such as light industry and energy. To prevent the YRD from becoming a pollution haven for developed countries, the cross-border EEE linkage must be reduced by adjusting the production and consumption structure of light industry. Cross-regional EEE linkage can be reduced through technology upgrades in the construction sector. The trend of a decrease in intraregional linkage and an increase in cross-regional linkage indicates that YRD exports tend to be outward rather than inward oriented. The four-level framework for examining EEE offers new detailed insights into the mitigation of regional air pollution.

Regional analysis of differentiation in air pollution from manufacturing at the post-Soviet territories

The article considers the dynamics of air emissions in 12 post-Soviet countries by region depending on the dynamics of GDP (GRP), the volume and structure of industrial production, changes in the structure of the fuel balance and energy intensity. During the crisis of the 1990s, pollution decreased in all countries and most regions, but at a slower rate than production, and as a result, specific emissions increased due to the greater resilience of the most “dirty” industries to the crisis. Pollution in the largest countries was the most persistent, and within countries in the largest emission regions. During the growth period, there was an increase in emissions in the regions of hydrocarbon production. Regional differences in emissions are mainly due to industrial production for Russia and Ukraine, with high consistency between production and pollution trends. In Ukraine, the decline in production in the Eastern regions has led to a shift in pollution to areas of population concentration. In Kazakhstan, the territorial structure of emissions is determined by the volume of coal-fired power generation and the location of energy- intensive industries. In the post-Soviet space, inherited development factors determine pollution from the energy sector, where outdated funds and the structure of the fuel balance have been preserved to the greatest extent. Large industrial regions tend to stabilize their emissions, while small regions either reduce their emissions or increase them.

Neo-Industrial Future of Ukraine: Expectations vs Obstacles

The significant features of the process of neo-industrialization are studied in conjunction with the profound changes in the post-industrial society, which determine the specifics of this stage of industrial development. however, are currently absent in Ukraine. Neo-industrialization, as a component of the knowledge economy, is not limited only to the processes of post-industrial technological transformations by changing the sectoral structure of the eco- nomy and industrial restructuring. The analysis of factors that led to the emergence of completely new processes of organizational change in the post-industrial society, in which large-scale mass production and mass distribution of goods are no longer progressive methods, as a result, eco- nomies of scale are no longer a market advantage in a neoindustrial economy. At a higher stage of development, differentiated goods and services are becoming increasingly demanded. And this diversity of offers is harmonized by the diversity of demand and is a constant engine of the innovation process in developed economies, and highly-differentiated structure of industrial production is a factor and the result of this diversity. The problems of small business development, which is becoming an important component of the neo-industrial structure, without its effective functioning in the conditions of market segmentation and demand fragmentation are considered, are examined. Statistical data and indices that measure the level of technolo- gical readiness of the country’s economy (global competitiveness index, economic complexity index, etc.) are analyzed in detail. Based on the analysis, systemic problems are identified and the conclusion is made that the existing structure of the Ukrainian economy in any aspect (industry, resource, foreign trade) does not meet the modern requirements of the country’s neo-industrial development.

Государственное регулирование производства продукции обрабатывающей промышленности

The article gives a brief overview of key state legal, regulatory and forecast documents related to government regulation of production and the Russian manufacturing market developed and adopted in the second decade of this century. On the example of the implementation of government measures aimed at improving the structure of industrial production and solving the problems of staffing the functioning of manufacturing industries, unresolved problems in these areas of state regulation that persist at the end of the second decade are shown. Examples of foreign experience and some recommendations in the field of state regulation of the country's industrial development are given. It is shown that for radical investment growth, it is necessary to first of all solve structural problems in the economy, implement measures aimed at improving the business climate, developing competition and reducing the share of the public sector and stimulating consumer demand to intensify the investment activities of private business in the field of manufacturing. In order to accurately and reasonably assess the impact of government measures on the development of manufacturing in the country, it is necessary to develop a methodology for assessing the regulatory impact (ODS) in the direction of methods for assessing the impact of government decisions on the activation of innovation and the use of progressive technologies "Industry 4.0."

Структурные изменения и инновационное развитие экономики Арктических регионов России

This article is devoted to problem of assessing relationship of innovative economic development and structural changes in industry of the Arctic regions. Performed analysis showed that change in the structure of industrial production in the Arctic regions from 2010 to 2016 was characterized by significant interregional differences in speed and intensity of transformation processes.It is shown that one of the key factors that caused structural changes in industry of the Arctic regions of Russia in 2010-2016 was increase in economic role of innovations and change in the pace of innovative processes development. In particular, the results of correlation analysis showed the presence of stable positive links between «science intensity» of economy and transformation of regional industry structure. The presence of a strong positive connection between impact of innovative development factors – an increase in growth rate of innovative goods – and structural changes in industrial production was set. Another factor contributing to structural changes in industry was investment in modernization of production.It is proved that in order to ensure further sustainable economic growth in regions of the Arctic, a necessary condition should be a substantial increase of «science intensity» in economy, including industries related to mining operations.

The socio-economic situation in South Africa in the early 2000-ies

The article describes political changes, unstable economic development and the difficult social situation in the country after the fall of the apartheid regime. South Africa’s raw materials orientation in the international division of labor and the weak development of manufacturing industries due to the narrow domestic market and lack of investment are shown. The factors that reduce economic growth rates have been identified: low investment activity in the country, declining volumes of foreign investment, a backward structure of industrial production in which extractive industries dominate, rising unemployment, low levels of education, and health care. The characteristic of the catastrophic stratification of South African society, the position of the white minority is given. The place of the country in the international division of labor is shown. Considered the main sectors of the economy of South Africa, among them: industry, agriculture, financial sector and transport network. After the abolition of the apartheid regime, South Africa retained in its foreign trade an emphasis on the export of mineral raw materials, coal and metallurgy products. Today, South Africa faces a number of serious socio-economic problems, generated both by the legacy of apartheid and by the influence of modern factors, both internal and external, that directly affect the country's economy and mutually aggravate each other. Second, a low level of education is a major socio-economic problem in South Africa. It takes a countdown from the days of apartheid, when the broad masses of a non-full population were either completely illiterate or received an education of poor quality. Thirdly, a serious problem is the glaring level of social stratification and poverty, which has been preserved since the days of apartheid.

Dynamics of cow mastitis disease in conditions of industrial milk production

The article provides data on monthly monitoring of breast pathologies for lactating cows during 2019. Observations were made on a herd of cows of Holstein breed, the cows were kept free during all season. Cows were kept n premises with a workshop structure of industrial milk production. In this farm, milking of cows was carried out three times in milking rooms with the equipment of the company GEA Farm Technologies models “Yalinka” and “Parallel”. 
 The following six issues were addressed during the monthly monitoring:
 determination of the dynamics of indicators characterizing the reproductive status of cows;
 - finding out the effect of seasonality on the number of average monthly cow disease for mastitis during the year;
 - tracking the degree of disease of cows with mastitis by months after calving lactation;
 - determination of the degree of disease of cows with mastitis, depending on the number of their lactation in the farm;
 - manifestation of the average monthly number of cow disease for clinical and subclinical mastitis;
 - tracking the frequency of each of the four proportion of udders of lactating cows.
 The data obtained are summarized in the relevant tables and discussed in the results section of the research, on which the main conclusions are drawn:
 - manifestation of breast pathologies in cows varied by season.
 The highest was in winter – 14.37%; slightly lower – in summer and autumn (respectively 12.16 and 10.32%); and the lowest (6.41%) – in spring months;
 - the highest percentage of udders pathologies of lactating cows was noted in the first, fourth and fifth months of lactation (14.9, 13.7 and 11.43%, respectively);
 - the highest percentage of mastitis was observed in young cows from the first to the third lactation (respectively 18.0; 26.4 and 20.7%);
 - the clinical form of mastitis most often was observed in winter months (92.1%). In spring, its percentage decreased (up to 72.2%) and increased slightly in summer (up to 83.1%), while in autumn there was a significant reduction of this pathology to 49.9%;
 - сonsideration of frequency of impression of each share of udder of cows, shows that the majority of pathologies (57.1%) were found on the posterior lobes.

Оценка влияния национальных проектов на развитие экономики России с использованием динамической межотраслевой модели

<span>В статье предпринята попытка оценки влияния выполнения национальных проектов на динамику макроэкономических и отраслевых показателей экономики России в 2019–2024 г. Прогнозные расчеты выполнены на основе динамической межотраслевой модели (ДММ). Информационной базой для нее послужила информация Правительства РФ о национальных проектах и данные таблиц «Затраты</span><span class="myHorizontalScaleForEmDashSpaceBefore"> </span><span>–</span><span class="myHorizontalScaleForEmDashSpaceAfter"> </span><span>Выпуск» за 2015 г. В предположениях прогноза и задаваемых экзогенных показателях нашли отражение основные параметры реализуемых нацпроектов. Использование ДММ позволило оценить динамический мультипликативный эффект от связанных с ними дополнительных расходов для внутреннего валового продукта России (ежегодный и за весь период в целом), показать влияние этих проектов на отраслевую структуру производства. Показано, что реализация национальных проектов позволит ускорить экономический рост в России.</span>

PROBLEMS OF ENSURING ECOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC SECURITY BY INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES UNDER THE ARCTIC ZONE CONDITIONS

Ensuring regional environmental and economic security is one of the priorities of the state. The problems of sustainable development of regions and their industrial complexes are considered by many scientists, however, insufficient attention is paid to the analysis of the sustainability of industrial enterprises in the Arctic zone (AZ) and their impact on the ecological and economic security of the region. Many of the problems of theoretical and methodological support for improving this security remain underestimated. For industrial enterprises of the Far North as a part of AZ, it is necessary to use a special approach to the development of methodological aspects of ensuring environmental and economic security due to the significant role that entrepreneurial activity has in the socio-economic development of the region and in the environmental situation.The purpose of the research is the formation of a mechanism to ensure the environmental and economic security of the Russian Arctic zone (RAZ), as a region where industrial enterprises operate. The object of the research was the ecological and economic security of the region of the Arctic zone, which exists in the modern conditions of globalization of the economy and the increasing influence of geopolitical factors. The subject of the study was a set of problems of a theoretical, methodical and applied nature, related to the development and implementation of a model for the development of industrial enterprises in the Arctic zone. The factors limiting the development of industrial enterprises of the Far North are formulated. A system of indicators for the sustainable development of industrial enterprises and the environmental and economic security of the region of the Arctic zone of Russia is proposed. The interrelation of indicators of the development of industrial enterprises of the Arctic zone with the conditions of the external economic environment has been revealed, which made it possible to conclude that the structure of industrial production in the regions of the Russian Arctic is distorted. This, in turn, necessitates the formation of maritime clusters and the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the industrial sector. A comparative description of the key areas of state regulation of industrial enterprises in foreign and domestic practice has been carried out. The recommendations of the possible use (adaptation) of international experience in the Russian Arctic are formulated.

Orta ve Küçük Kentlerde Endüstri Mirasını Koruma: Silivri “Varnalı Yağ Fabrikası”

Structures that are subject to conservation and reuse as the industrial heritage in Turkey are manly those industrial buildings abandoned in the big cities from the 19th century in Ottoman period and which were registered as a cultural historical monuments. Undoubtedly, as the importance of preserving the cultural heritage for urban economic and social development emerges, the number of the historical production structures of the past in urban and rural areas that have not been registered yet will also increase. Though, many artifacts in small and medium-sized cities have been registered as cultural assets to be protected on the basis of the Resolutions of the Regional Protection Council within the scope of Law No. 2863. However, many of the industrial production structures that have been registered or not yet registered have been inactive for various reasons. As these structures are not reused, they are worn out and remain under the spatial changes of the city they are located in. In this study, it is aimed to cause the acceptance of the Varnalı Oil Factory from the beginning of the 20th Century, which is located in the city center of the Silivri County.

ВПЛИВ ІНФЛЯЦІЇ НА ІНВЕСТИЦІЙНУ АКТИВНІСТЬ ПІДПРИЄМСТВ ПРОМИСЛОВОСТІ

The article discusses the influence of the price factor on the investment activities of industrial enterprises. The influence of the main factors on the increase in financial resources of enterprises of the industry for the production of investment goods is determined It is proved that the rise in prices adversely affects the dynamics of investment processes, requires significant amounts of funding. Inflation undermines the incentives for a massive renewal of capital on a new technical basis, since the level of profit becomes hardly predictable due to the difficulties in determining the difference between the value of production costs and wholesale prices. As a result, the course of restructuring of industrial production slows down. Analysis of the movement of producer prices for engineering products in the developed EU countries suggests that in countries with low price growth rates there are more favorable conditions for realizing the requirements of scientific and technological progress in the structure of industrial production. The significant price increase during the economic crisis period holds back the next renewal of fixed capital, undermines the incentives to improve technology. For Ukrainian engineering enterprises producing investment products, high rates of price growth are characteristic. Particularly high rates of growth in prices for products of enterprises producing electrical equipment. It should be noted that the advantage in the growth of prices was obtained mainly by monopolies in the production of commodities and goods with a low degree of processing, while the branches of the investment engineering industry, in particular the enterprises for the production of electrical equipment, computers, electronic and optical products, which are designed to determine the country's economic potential. have become outsiders in the price race, as can be seen from the dynamics of prices. It has been established that the price factor had a decisive influence on the increase in the output of investment engineering products. The analysis showed that the growth of investment demand for the investigated period was largely due to the price factor. In particular, in 2018, with the growth of production of electrical equipment at 7,6 billion UAH at the expense of the price factor, the amount of financial resources necessary to finance investment activity in the purchase of electrical equipment increased by UAH 12,7 billion.

Technical change and productivity growth in the Alberta logging industry

The logging industry in Alberta, Canada is subject to some of the most stringent forest management regulations in North America. Though studies have criticized that forest management regulations in Alberta discourage innovation and hinder competi-tiveness, there is no empirical evidence on how the rate of technical change and productivity growth have evolved over time. A more detailed investigation of the production structure would illustrate the extent to which stringent forest regulatory policies in Alberta have slowed down technical change and negatively affected productivity in the sector. The purpose of this study is to investigate the production structure of the Alberta logging industry; specifically, we examine the nature of factor substitution, and estimate the rate of technical change and total factor productivity growth. Our key finding is that both the rate of technical change and total factor productivity growth are negative in most years in our sample. We also find low elasticities of substitution between inputs and that technical change has been material-neutral. The results of our study provide some evidence that Albertas regulations have reduced the incentive for the logging industry to improve its overall productivity.

Global Commodity Chains and the New Imperialism

To comprehend twenty-first-century imperialism we must go beyond analysis of the nation-state to a systematic investigation of the increasing global reach of multinational corporations or the role of the global labor arbitrage. At issue is the way in which today's global monopolies in the center of the world economy have captured value generated by labor in the periphery within a process of unequal exchange, thus getting "more labour in exchange for less. The result has been to change the global structure of industrial production while maintaining and often intensifying the global structure of exploitation and value transfer.

Структурні деформації у промисловому комплексі України, які виникли внаслідок економічних криз, як перешкода розвитку ринку інноваційних товарів

Topicality. Crisis is one of the forms of economic development, in the course of which obsolete technique and technology are eliminated, organization of production and labour opens up space for growth and the establishment of a new one. At the same time, with the overcoming of the outdated, inevitably there is a decline in production, rising unemployment, falling incomes, which negatively affects the living conditions of people.Aim and tasks. The aim of the article is to study the impact of crisis phenomena on the development of Ukrainian industry in terms of identifying its structural deformations and their impact on the development of the market for innovative goods.Research results. In the structural dynamics of industrial production during 1991-2014, two cyclical waves were outlined: the first wave (1991 - 2007), connected with the restructuring of the economic system and the adaptation of its subjects to new economic and political realities. Second wave, which began in 2008, is related to the global economic crisis, in which Ukraine has already been closely integrated. In 2012-2014, a third wave began to form, in which the stage of decline was clearly outlined. The causes of the last wave have a political, economic and military background. Structure of industrial production has changed on the opposite ratio between production of primary and deep processing, low technological and high-tech, raw and final consumption. In particular, the change in the ratio between the production of mining and metallurgical complex, on the one hand, and machine building and light industry – on the other. As a result, there was a primitization of the sectoral structure of industry. Production acquired the export commodity specialization.Conclusions. Despite the destructive deformations in the industrial complex of Ukraine that arose as a result of economic crises, the country in its innovation development should rely on the basic industrial sectors, which today have some achievements and some advantages. Ukraine has not yet exhausted the possibilities of the industrial stage of the economy and should use advanced industrial technologies to modernize enterprises of the III and IV technological processes. However, along with the increase of the scientific and technological level of the enterprises of industries with outdated technologies, it is important, where possible, to use the information and telecommunication technologies inherent in the post-industrial society, developing such industries as aerospace, electronic, computer technology, pharmaceutical, chemical, etc. That is, the country's most effective strategy should be innovative development, which combines the innovations of the V and VI technological processes inherent in the post-industrial economy, with the scientific and technological modernization of enterprises of the IV and III forms inherent in the industrial stage.

СТРАТЕГИЧЕСКИЕ НАПРАВЛЕНИЯ СТРУКТУРНОЙ ЭКОНОМИЧЕСКОЙ ПОЛИТИКИ В ПРИДНЕСТРОВЬЕ

The purpose of the article is to analyze the features of the structure of the economy of Transnistria, to assess their impact on socio-economic dynamics and to develop proposals aimed at optimizing the main economic proportions. The study used the following methods: retrospective, factor and statistical analysis, assessment of the main economic proportions and forecast of socio-economic structural and macroeconomic parameters. Results. On the basis of statistical analysis, a quantitative assessment of the structure of GDP, industrial and agricultural production is given. The share of the industrial sector in the economy of the region as a whole and in some administrative-territorial units is decreasing. The analysis of the structure of industrial production shows a steady trend towards its simplification, which is expressed in the termination of the activities of individual enterprises and entire sectors of the economy, the growing dependence of the region on a limited number of enterprises and a narrow range of products. The scientific novelty is to identify the relationship between the level of industrialization, the dynamics of the economy and the revenue side of the budget. Practical significance. The directions of optimization of the structure of GDP, industrial sector, agriculture and exports are proposed. Some tools are listed, the use of which will optimize the structure of the economy of Transnistria and provide a positive dynamics of economic activity.

Interconnection between R&D and Industrial Production Structure: The Experience of India

Indian government initiated systematic opening up of its industrial economy in the early 1980s and this trend continued with greater pace and force in the 1990s and beyond. Theoretically, it is postulated that evolution of the innovation system and production structure co-evolve. But globalization may have either distorted this pattern due to lack of availability of access to new technologies from global market or forced the firms to increase in-house R&D investment to remain competitive. However, the caveat here is that public R&D has definitely gone down and to what extent the private sector has been able to enhance R&D investment to emerge as a leader is an issue which remains to be examined. In this context, the aim of this article is to examine the growth and change in the structure of industrial R&D in India and further ascertain the co-evolution and interconnection between industrial innovation system represented through R&D structure and industrial production structure in India. This study covers the period 1981–2010 while classifying the industries into four categories, that is, high-tech (H-T), medium high-tech (M-H-T), medium low-tech (M-L-T) and low-tech (L-T). Trend growth rates and Karl Pearson’s correlation coefficients are used to establish the relationship between structural change in industrial R&D and industrial output structure. The main findings show that the structural transformation in industrial R&D is well evident with rising importance of H-T and M-H-T group of industries in R&D whereas M-L-T and L-T industrial R&D recorded declining trends. Furthermore, this study has established an empirical relationship between structural change in industrial R&D and industrial output structure except M-L-T group of industries. An important policy implication that emerges for the sectoral innovation system is that developing countries like India should devote more efforts to strengthen the innovation system devoting higher proportion of resources for innovations.

The constellation of user-generated practices on platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Wikipedia, and Facebook that depend on amateur content has become a vital force driving popular construction that blurs the line between the professional and the amateur. Celebrated transnational Chinese actor Donnie Yen, who has gained huge fame thanks to his work in martial arts hits, was cast in the Star Wars feature Rogue One (2016). An analysis of two videos on YouTube that (re)narrativize Yen's persona in Rogue One shows how video makers working outside the film industry open up new aspects of articulating and understanding the star. 국내 음악산업의 디지털 음악제작과 유통구조 분석

문화예술은 현시대의 특징을 가장 잘 보여주는 인류문화시대의 언어이다. 문화예술은 예술의 음악, 미술, 문학, 연극 등의 장르들을 내포하고 있으며, 문화는 보다 더 넓은 범위를 포괄하는 것으로 사회의 상징체계와 사회 구성원 간 공유하는 삶의 방식 및 가치관, 그리고 인간의 지적·정신적·창의적 활동의 결과물이 함께 한다. 문화는 상품화 및 산업화를 통하여 문화예술산업(Art Cultural Industries)의 영역으로 확대되었고, 특히‘디지털 음악산업’은 시대의 흐름과 함께 색다른 변모와 성장세를 보였다. 본 연구는 문화예술시대의 음악산업에 대한 탐색적 연구로서 한류콘텐츠의 인기와 함께 새로운 성장세를 보이고 있는 디지털 음원의 제작과 유통 과정의 구조분석을 중심으로 문화예술시대의 디지털 음악산업에 대한 탐색적 연구를 하였다. 첫째, 국내 음악산업에 대한 이해를 위하여 국내 음악산업의 범위, 음악산업의 규모, 음반산업의 규모, 온라인 음악유통업의 규모를 살펴보았다. 둘째, 디지털 음반 제작과정의 이해를 위하여 수록곡의 수량과 성격에 따른 음반 분류, 음원 제작 과정, 홍보 자료 제작 과정, 홍보방법을 통한 디지털 음반 제작에 대한 이해를 도모하였다. 셋째, 디지털 음반 유통과정의 이해를 위하여 음반의 유통과정, 유통준비, 정산을 중심으로 분석하였다.
