Pengaruh Perilaku Kepemimpinan Terhadap Motivasi Kerja Pegawai Pada Kantor Desa Abbanuangnge Kecamatan Maniangpajo Kabupaten Wajo

This research was motivated by preliminary research at the Abbanuangnge Village Office, Maniangpajo District, Wajo Regency, with initial information that could be obtained, namely the impression that the work motivation of employees at the Office, a number of ideals were thought to be influenced by leadership behavior which was also not ideal. This research aims to examine the influence of leadership behavior on employee work motivation at the Abbanuangnge Village Office, Maniangpajo District, Wajo Regency. This research uses quantitative research methods. The population in this study was all 8 Abbanuangnge Village Office employees. The sample in this research uses a saturated sample, namely a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. The primary data source is in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression. The questionnaire measurements answered by respondents used a Likert scale which was processed using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS). The results of this research show that training has a positive and significant influence on the performance of civil servants at the Pammana District Office, Wajo Regency. Meanwhile, the R2 (R Square) value is 0.623, which shows that the percentage contribution of the Training variable to the Civil Servant Performance variable at the Pammana District Office, Wajo Regency is 62.3%.

Pengaruh Pembangunan Infrastruktur Jalan Tani Terhadap Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Di Desa Lauwa Kecamatan Pitumpanua Kabupaten Wajo

This research is motivated by the fact that road infrastructure development activities, especially agricultural roads, have great potential to have an impact that will affect the level of welfare of village communities. And with the construction of agricultural road infrastructure, this is a transportation infrastructure in agricultural areas, to facilitate the mobility of agricultural tools and machines. Transporting production facilities to agricultural land and transporting agricultural products from the land to storage, processing places or markets. This research aims to examine the influence of Farmer Road Infrastructure Development on Community Welfare in Lauwa Village, Pitumpanua District, Wajo Regency. This research uses quantitative research methods. The population in this study was all farmers in Lauwa Village, Pitumpanua District, Wajo Regency, totaling 350 people. The sample in this study used a probability sampling technique with a simple random sampling type, while the sample size was obtained from calculations using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10% from 78 people. . The primary data source is in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression analysis. The questionnaire measurements answered by respondents used a Likert scale which was processed using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS). The results of this research show that the Tani Road Infrastructure Development has a positive and significant influence on the welfare of the community in Lauwa Village, Pitumpanua District, Wajo Regency. Meanwhile, the R2 (R Square) value is 0.081, which indicates that the percentage contribution of the Jalan Tani Infrastructure Development variable to the community welfare variable in Lauwa Village, Pitumpanua District, Wajo Regency is 8.10%.

Perceptions and Practices of Saudi Hospital Pharmacists Towards Reporting Medication Errors Including Near Misses.

Medication errors (MEs) represent a patient safety concern that can have negative consequences on patients in the short and long term. Community pharmacists play an important role in the medication management process, which urges the need for their role in managing MEs. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the perceptions and attitudes of Saudi pharmacists towards reporting MEs. A cross-sectional study was conducted using a semi-structured questionnaire that was distributed to Saudi pharmacists. The questionnaire was distributed to pharmacists via email after they had provided their consent to take part in the study. Data from the questionnaire were analysed using Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) (IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows, Armonk, NY), where descriptive statistics were applied. The findings showed that most pharmacists appreciated the importance of reporting MEs and the role the reporting played in improving the quality of healthcare delivery. However, pharmacists raised many concerns regarding barriers to reporting. Such barriers to reporting included blaming patients or healthcare professionals, underdeveloped protocols, and the lack of standard procedures for ME reporting. Moreover, inadequate communication between healthcare professionals (for example, between pharmacists and doctors) represented an additional barrier to reporting MEs. MEs and near misses are underreported among Saudi pharmacists due to many operational and communication challenges. These findings are useful for healthcare authorities involved in developing patient safety frameworks for reporting MEs and near misses. Future work can also determine the attitudes of other healthcare professionals involved in the medication management process.

Marketing Strategy Planning of Kahyangan Coffee Using Marketing Mix in Coffee Shops

Kopi Kahyangan continues to develop its product quality and market through the preparation of marketing strategies based on the marketing mix theory. This study aims to determine the marketing strategy of Kahyangan coffee based on the marketing mix in increasing sales volume. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach method using SWOT analysis, QSPM, and questionnaire tests using validity and reliability tests. The tools used to test this study were Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) 25, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. The types and sources of data used are primary data and secondary data. The analysis method used is a descriptive analysis of marketing strategies that refers to the concept of the 4P Marketing mix (product, price, promotion, and place) using SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat) and QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) matrix analysis. The results of the marketing strategy planning analysis according to the company's position in the IE matrix can use market penetration strategies by improving product quality, market development by increasing promotions and reaching new segments, and product development by making Kahyangan Coffee product innovations to increase sales volume of Kahyangan Coffee. The priority strategy of marketing strategy planning is to maintain quality and increase product licenses.

Distribution of ABO and Rhesus ‘D’ Blood Groups among Pregnant Women in a Tertiary Hospital in Rivers State, Southern Nigeria

Background: In recent times, the role of ABO and Rhesus grouping in clinical practice has increased widely. There is a paucity of literature on blood group distribution, and its distribution has not been studied in our centre. This study aimed to determine the distribution of ABO, Rh D blood groups and haemoglobin genotype among pregnant women initiating antenatal care in Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH). Methods: This was a cross-sectional study among antenatal clinic attendees in RSUTH, over 6 months. At booking 3ml of venous blood was collected in Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) vacutainer from the pregnant women, and ABO and Rh D typing was done by tile methods forward and reverse grouping methods and confirmed by microscopy. Haemoglobin genotype was done by electrophoresis. Data collected were analyzed using IBM Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS), version 25.0 (Armonk, New York). Results: One thousand one hundred and forty -seven patients were recruited for the study. Their mean age and mean gestational age at booking were 31.6 SD 4.6 years (95% CI: 31.3,31.8), and 21.1 SD 18.6 weeks respectively. Modal parity was para 1. The predominant blood group among pregnant women at the RSUTH was O [667 (58.2%)], followed by A [286 (24.9%)], B [171(14.9%)], and AB [23(2%)]. The prevalences of Rhesus D positive and Rhesus D negative blood group were 95.2% and 4.8% respectively. Concerning genotype, the most predominant was AA 898 (78%) followed by AS [245 (21.4)], SS [4 (0.4%)], and AC [2 (0.2%]. Conclusion: The predominant blood group and genotype among pregnant women in our centre is O Rh D positive and AA respectively. The findings from this study would help plan transfusion services antepartum and post-partum. This will be relevant in transfusion and coagulation management of obstetric haemorrhage.

A Pre-requisite for Better Students’ Academic Outcomes: Physical Facilities’ Conditions and Teachers’ Commitment in Cape Coast Senior High Schools

As time passed, the focus of nations’ economic and social development in this current dispensation has been centered on students’ academic outcomes. Hence, proper planning and systematic and holistic approaches should be implemented in the education field. This goal cannot be achieved without the efforts and involvement of committed teachers and physical facilities conditions. However, an attempt made by the Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service to improve and maintain teachers’ commitment to ensuring a low retention rate has paid little or no attention to physical facilities’ conditions that undermine quality education. Given this, the study aimed to determine the relationship between physical facilities’ conditions and teachers’ commitment to senior high schools. The study utilized a descriptive survey design.Top of Form A sample size of 297 teachers completed a questionnaire to determine their commitments whilst an observational checklist was employed to evaluate the conditions of the facilities. Version 23.0 of the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) was employed to conduct a statistical analysis of the data. The study indicated a positive strong correlation between good physical facilities and teachers’ commitment. The study suggests that the Cape Coast Metro Office should allot a portion of its annual budget to the Cape Coast Education Directorate to provide good physical facilities and also maintain the existing ones for senior high schools in the Metropolis to positively influence teachers’ commitment to work to ensure better students’ academic outcome because physical facilities’ conditions improves teachers’ commitment which in turn commensurate better students’ academic outcome.

Demographic and clinical correlates of depression among older adults with arthritis in Nigeria.

Older adults have a high prevalence of chronic conditions like arthritis with morbidities, especially depression ranging up to 40% - 70%. Therefore, it is important to explore depression in older adults with arthritis. This study aimed to determine if any demographic and clinical factors are associated with depression in older adults aged ≥ 60 years with arthritis attending a rheumatology clinic. This is a cross-sectional study conducted over 6 months among 127 older adults on follow-up care in a university teaching hospital in the North-Eastern region of Nigeria. A clinical proforma with information about the type of arthritis, duration of illness, hospitalisation, use of medications, co-morbidity was utilised for the data collection. The Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS-30), sociodemographic questionnaire and clinical proforma were administered. Data were analysed using Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) version 26.0 with the level of significance set as 0.05. The mean age (± standard deviation [s.d.]) was 66.6 (± 5.5) years, with males constituting 57.5%. The prevalence of depression was 57.8%. Osteoarthritis 30.2%, while 69.8% had rheumatoid arthritis. Sociodemographic factors associated with depression include age (p = 0.049), marital status (p = 0.001), and level of education (p = 0.001). Duration of illness (p = 0.02), hospitalisation (p = 0.03), and number of medications (p = 0.01) were clinical factors associated with depression score. The prevalence of depression in older people with arthritis is high and was associated with females, the widowed, no formal education; and those with long duration of illness, those using multiple medications, and those with repeated hospitalisation. This finding can enhance the suspicion index for depression to establish standard operating procedures, which will help to improve therapeutic practice for caring for the older adult age group.

Pre-Operative Computed Tomography Scan Assessment of Variations in Olfactory Fossa Depth among Adults

Context: The paranasal sinus Computed Tomography (CT) scan is important in the evaluation of patients with sino-nasal pathologies and serves as a tool for navigation during endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS). The risk of skull base injury during ESS is assessed using the depth of the olfactory fossa, which has been shown to have racial variations. We aimed to use Keros classification to study the variations in the depth of the olfactory fossa at a specialized tertiary ENT hospital in Kaduna, Northwest Nigeria. Setting and Design: It was a retrospective cross-sectional study conducted at the radiology department of the National Ear Centre, Kaduna. Materials and Methods: All CT scans of the paranasal sinuses from January 2021 – January 2022 were retrieved and reviewed. Coronal CT scans of patients, 18 years and above, were included. Those who had skull-based surgery and those with tumors of the paranasal sinuses were excluded. Statistical Analysis Used: Data were entered in Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) version 25. Results: A total of one hundred and six (106) CT scans were studied which resulted in 212 depths of olfactory fossa measurements. The age range of participants was 18–81 years with a mean age of 41.1 ± 14.18 years. The male-to-female ratio was 1:1.08. Keros type II was found to be the most prevalent (68.4%) generally, as well as across gender and laterality distribution, with statistically significant difference between males and females, and no significant difference between the right and left sides. Conclusion: Type II Keros classification was the most common across gender and laterality distributions, with statistically significant differences between males and females. Cognizance of individual variations in preoperative assessments and surgical planning is imperative in ensuring safe and satisfactory surgical outcomes. We recommend further studies with a larger sample size and from different regions of the country.

Knowledge of home gardening and anthropometric status of adult women in Odeda Local Government, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria

A healthy lifestyle and illness prevention depend on adequate nutrition, and homestead food production, including home gardening, is one way to increase access and lower the cost of healthy foods. This study was carried out in Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State to assess the anthropometric indices and knowledge of home gardening of women. The sample size comprised of 170 respondents which were chosen using a multistage sampling technique. Data on sociodemographic, socioeconomic variables, and home gardening knowledge were obtained using an interviewer-administered, well-structured questionnaire. Anthropometric measurements were taken using standard procedures. The nutritional status was assessed using anthropometric measurements. Version 20.0 of Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) was used to analyze the data. The findings were presented as frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The threshold for statistical significance was set at p 0.05. The responders were 33.5 years old on average. The majority of respondents (85.3%) had at least a primary education. It was found that 94.7% of the adult women had good knowledge of home gardening, 4.7% had average knowledge, and 0.6% had low knowledge. The nutritional status of the respondents showed that 24.1 percent were overweight, 10.6 percent were underweight, and 10.6 percent were obese. The home garden knowledge score and the anthropometric measurement (BMI) were shown to be significantly associated. The result of this study is an indication that women who are knowledgeable about gardening at home are more likely to have higher nutritional status.

Does Brand Image affect the Purchase Decision of the ASUS Brand Laptop among Students?

This research aims to find out whether brand image among students influences the decision to purchase Asus brand laptops. The sample in this research was consumers using Asus laptops, namely 96 people who were accidentally met by the researchers and deemed suitable as respondents, so the accidental sampling method was used. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation methods. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) v.20 and hypothesis testing using the t test and F test. The results of the research show that partially the product image has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions regarding Asus laptops among students. Brand image consisting of company image, user image and product image simultaneously has a positive and significant influence on the decision to purchase Asus laptops among students. This means that the brand image of Asus laptops is one of the factors in consumer purchasing decisions.

EFFECT OF SAQ TRAINING WITH & WITHOUT CARBOHYDRATE SUPPLEMENTATION AMONG ELITE FOOTBALLER'S SPEED

The main objective of the current study was to evaluate the changes in performance (speed) through SAQ training and carbohydrate supplementation of 08 weeks intervention. The study was conducted in the vicinity of Punjab University, Lahore. Participants (n=16) were selected through the inclusion criteria which included elite footballers and the participants were divided into two groups which were groups (A) and (B). Hypotheses of this study were: H0 1 There is no significant difference between the pre-test of group A (speed) and the pre-test of group B (speed). Ha 2 There is a significant difference between the pre-test of group A (speed) and the post-test of group A (speed). Ha 3 There is a significant difference between the pre-test of group B (speed) and the post-test of group B (speed). Ha 4 It is hypothesized that there is a significant difference between training with the Supplementation group (A) and Training without the Supplementation group (B). Group (A) was allowed to follow the 08-week exercise plan (intervention) and carbohydrate supplementation. Only group (B) was allowed to follow the 08-week exercise plan (intervention). Descriptive statistics, means and standard deviations were calculated. The inferential statistics and different tests including paired sample t-test and independent samples t-test were applied to calculate the differences in performance of all studied groups. The data was analyzed and evaluated statistically using Version 22 of IBM SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) software. The means (with standard deviation) of the speed tests of training with carbohydrate supplementation group (A) and the means (with standard deviation) of the speed tests of training without carbohydrate supplementation group (B) were compared. This study confirms that there was not a significant difference between groups (A) and (B) before training and carbohydrate supplementation. There was a significant difference in speed in, the pre-test of the group (A) compared with the post-test, followed by SAQ Training with carbohydrate supplementation. On the other hand, there was also a significant difference in speed, in the pre-test of group B compared with the post-test, followed by SAQ Training only. The study confirmed that there was a significant change in the speed of footballers' training with carbohydrate supplementation group (A) compared to training without carbohydrate supplementation group (B), after 08 weeks of intervention.

Exploring the Interplay of Investment Knowledge, Motivation, Minimum Capital, and Risk Perception in Shaping Students' Interest in Capital Markets

The primary objective of this research is to conduct an analysis of the impact of independent variables, specifically Investment Knowledge, Motivation, Minimum Capital, and Risk Perception, on Investment Interest. The study encompasses the 2019 cohort of students enrolled in the Management Study Program, comprising a total of 453 individuals, including both regular students and employees. The selection of the research sample follows a probabilistic approach, utilizing purposive sampling techniques. This method involves the establishment of specific criteria that prospective samples must meet, resulting in a final sample size of 212 students. Data collection was accomplished through the distribution of questionnaires to the student cohort, serving as the primary data collection instrument. The data analysis procedures employed in this study encompass descriptive analysis and inferential analysis, with the latter involving multiple linear regression. Statistical analysis was conducted using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 23.0 software. The findings of this research underscore the significant and positive influence of Motivation, Minimum Capital, and Risk Perception on Investment Interest. However, it is worth noting that Investment Knowledge, while positively correlated with Investment Interest, did not yield statistically significant results in this context.

Pengaruh Penambahan Bubuk Kulit Biji Kakao (Theobroma cacao L.) Terhadap Sifat Fisikokimia Dan Organoleptik Brownies Crispy


 
 
 Brownies crispy are chocolate cakes that have a crunchy texture so they are quite popular as a snack, but based on the formulation brownies crispy have a fairly low fiber content. The addition of cocoa bean husk powder to crispy brownies can increase the fiber content of the product. This study aims to determine the effect of adding the right cocoa bean husk powder (Theobroma cacao L.) to produce brownies crispy with the best physicochemical and organoleptic properties. The design used in this study was a Completely Randomized Design consisting 6 concentration levels of cocoa bean husk powder, namely: 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25% with three replications. Parameters tested were water content, crude fiber content, antioxidant activity, texture (hardness), color intensity (L, a*, and b*), and hedonic sensory evaluation (color, aroma, texture, taste, and overall acceptability). The data were analyzed using variance and if the treatment had a significant effect then it was continued with the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5% level using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS). The results showed that the concentration of cocoa bean husk powder had a significant effect on water content, crude fiber content, antioxidant activity, hardness texture profile, color intensity (L, a*, and b*) and had no significant effect on hedonic sensory analysis on parameters of color, aroma, texture, taste, and overall acceptability. The best characteristics of brownies crispy was the addition of 25% cocoa bean husk powder with a moisture content value of 1.38%, 4.15% crude fiber content, 48.38% antioxidant activity, 32 hardness texture profile 32,24 N, color intensity L 23.03, a* 9.20, b* 14.20, and sensory acceptability was liked.
 
 

Exploring in-service preschool teachers’ acceptance of mobile learning in science teaching practice

In the sphere of preschool and elementary education, new interactive technologies built on intelligent mobile devices and auxiliary applications have drawn increasing attention. Based on the UTAUT2 (The expanding of the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology) theoretical model, the purpose of this study is to understand the situation of pre-school preschool teachers’ willingness to use mobile learning. This study conducted a survey on 329 in-service preschool teachers in 9 cities in Fujian Province, China, and conducted data analysis through statistical analysis software SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) 22.0 and AMOS (Analyze of Moment Structures) 22.0, verifying the UTAUT2 model in Effectiveness in understanding in-service early childhood teachers’ intention to move to learn. The results of structural equation modeling show that the proposed model has acceptable fitting data. The results of the study show that in-service preschool teachers have the willingness to actively accept mobile learning. Among many influencing factors, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, learning value, habit have significantly impact on behavioral intention to accept mobile learning. In addition, hedonic motivation did not support to affect behavioral intention and habit to affect use behavior. The study has important implications for researchers, educators, policy makers and mobile learning app designers.

IMPACT OF WORK-FAMILY CONFLICT ON FEMALE WORKERS PERFORMANCE WITH JOB SATISFACTION AS A MEDIATOR AT PT. KALDU SARI NABATI RANCAEKEK

The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between work-family conflict and employee performance, as well as the effects of job satisfaction and work-family conflict on employee performance. For the study, which was conducted at PT. Kaldu Sari Nabati Indonesia Rancaekek Bandung, 195 married female employees from the Production Department were chosen. A questionnaire was used to collect the study's data, and the statistical product and service solutions (SPSS) program was used for the analysis. The results demonstrate that although work-family conflict does not directly and significantly affect employee performance, it does so when job satisfaction is taken into account as a mediator. Furthermore, employee performance is significantly positively impacted by job satisfaction. These results highlight the crucial role that job satisfaction plays in minimizing the detrimental effects of work-family conflict on employee performance.

Analysis of Predisposing Factors Related to Compliance With the Use of Personal Protective Equipment in the Textile Industry

The Sari Warna Asli Tekstil II Company is a textile industry that produces everything from cotton to ready-made clothing. The Sari Warna Asli Tekstil II Company experienced work accidents caused by several reasons, including a lack of discipline and a need to understand the importance of using complete personal protective equipment. This study aimed to determine predisposing factors related to compliance with the use of personal protective equipment. This research uses an analytical observational method with a cross-sectional approach. This research was conducted at the Sari Warna Asli Company II, which is located at street Randusari, Teras, Dusun I, Randusari, Boyolali, Boyolali Regency, Central Java. This research will be conducted from September to October 2023. The population in this research is all employees in the spinning section of the Sari Warna Asli Tekstil II Company, totalling 914 people. The sampling technique used was the incidental sampling technique, obtaining a sample of 100 people. Primary data collection uses a questionnaire. Data analysis for this study used bivariate analysis with the chi-square test. Data was analyzed using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 20 software. The research results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (p-value = 0.000), there was a relationship between working period and compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (p-value = 0.000), and there is no relationship between education and compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (p-value = 0.567). It is recommended that companies should increase regulations related to occupational safety and health programs because some employees still do not comply with using personal protective equipment and continue to make efforts to increase employee knowledge.</em></p></td></tr></tbody></table></div><p><strong><em>Keywords: Compliance, Education, Knowledge, Personal protective equipment, Working period</em></strong></p>

A real-world data analysis-based study of Chinese medicine treatment patterns after breast cancer surgery.

Based on the real clinical data of Hospital Information System to explore the common clinical syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine after breast cancer surgery, analysis of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of breast cancer after the compatibility law. The real medical records of breast cancer patients after surgery in a tertiary hospital in Sichuan Province were collected and screened to build a medical record database. Python language was used for data preprocessing to remove outliers and fill in missing values. Using International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) Modeler software, Apriori association rules algorithm for data analysis, mining Chinese medicine treatment of breast cancer after common syndromes and the corresponding medication rules. A total of 472 cases of clinical real medical record data were included. Data analysis showed that there were 42 TCM syndromes after breast cancer surgery, of which the highest frequency was liver depression and spleen deficiency, qi deficiency and blood stasis, qi stagnation and blood stasis, qi and blood deficiency, qi and yin deficiency, phlegm and blood stasis. A total of 416 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine were involved. High-frequency drugs included angelica sinensis, coix seed, bupleurum, ginger magnolia bark, keel, oyster, astragalus, platycodon grandiflorum, antler frost, vinegar tortoise shell, poria cocos, lily, Jianqu, Ophiopogon japonicus (Maidong), Shancigu, etc. A total of 18 pairs of commonly used drug combinations were excavated, such as Fushen-Gancao-Chaihu-Angelica, Huangqi-Baishao-Jianghoupu, Chaihu-Huanhua-Maidong-Lily, Baizhu-Huangqi-Maidong, Fuling-Baishao, etc. The clinical syndrome type of traditional Chinese medicine after breast cancer surgery is mainly liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome. The clinical treatment is mainly soothing liver and relieving depression, and harmonizing liver and spleen. The association between different types of physical activity and smoking behavior

BackgroundSmoking is harmful, which has become a major public health burden. Physical activity may be related to smoking. Physical activity is one of the current methods for smoking control and smoking cessation. Different types of physical activity may have different effect on smoking behavior.ObjectiveThe purpose of this study was to identify the direction and extent of the impact of different types of physical activity above moderate intensity (including work physical activity, recreational physical activity, commuter physical activity and sedentary behavior) on smoking behavior.Materials and methodsIn this study, a total of 2,015 individuals (1,233 males and 782 females, mean age 54.02±17.31 years) was selected from the representative population aged 20 and above in the National Health and Nutrition Survey of the United States from 2017 to 2018. Physical activity was assessed using the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ) ; the tobacco use questionnaire (SMQ) was used to determine whether the sample had smoking behavior at this stage. Binary Logistic regression analysis was performed with various physical activities as independent variables and smoking behavior as dependent variables. All data were analyzed through Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) 26.0.ResultsAfter adjusted for all confounding variables, physical activity at work was close to significantly associated with smoking behavior (P=0.053), odds ratio (OR) =1.135 (95%Cl: 0.999-1.289). Recreational physical activity was significantly associated with smoking behavior (P < 0.001), OR=0.729 (95%Cl: 0.639-0.832). Commuting physical activity was significantly associated with smoking behavior (P < 0.001), OR=1.214 (95%Cl:1.048-1.405). Sedentary behavior was significantly associated with smoking behavior (P < 0.001), OR=1.363 (95%Cl: 1.154-1.611).ConclusionsGiven that different types of physical activity have different associations with smoking behavior. Therefore, when physical activity is used as a tobacco control measurement, it is necessary to pay attention to the type and environment of physical activity. Recreational physical activities should be appropriately increased, sedentary behavior should be reduced, and smoking prohibit environment should be expanded as far as possible to achieve better clinical intervention effects.

Analysis the Effect of Money Ethics and Tax Morale on Tax Evasion With Lifestyle as a Moderation Variabel

This study aims to determine the effect of money ethics and tax morals on tax evasion with lifestyle as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with purposive sampling as a sampling technique. The questionnaire was distributed electronically to 130 taxpayers who live in West Kalimantan, especially Pontianak city. Statistical testing using Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS), shows the results that tax morals and money ethics have a positive and significant effect on tax evasion. Lifestyle as a moderating variable is also able to strengthen the influence of tax morals and money ethics on tax evasion. Based on the T-test result with the results of money ethics = 0.001, tax morals = 0.000 and lifestyle = 0.034, which is less than 0.5, thus indicating that H0 is rejected, meaning that money ethics, tax morals and lifestyle also have a significant influence on tax evasion. The implications of this research are expected to be useful, especially for the government so that the government can prevent companies from committing tax evasion.

Analysis of Work Motivation, Work Discipline, Job Satisfaction and Job Loyalty to Employee Performance of PT. Matahari Department Store East Jakarta

This study aims to analyze work motivation, work discipline, job satisfaction, and work loyalty on employee performance at PT Matahari Department Store, East Jakarta. In this study, researchers used data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to respondents. This study uses primary data which is distributed to 100 respondents. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis and uses the Statistical Product and Service solution (SPSS) program. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis show that the variables Work Motivation (X1), Work Discipline (X2), have no effect on the performance of employees at PT Matahari Department Store, East Jakarta. Meanwhile, Job Satisfaction (X3) and Job Loyalty (X4) have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at PT Matahari Department Store, East Jakarta. The results of this study are expected that the company is able to maintain and improve the performance of employees of PT. Matahari Department Store, East Jakarta.
