This study aims to analyze the effects of self accomplishment found through Taekwondo training on the psychological happiness of foreign laborers living in Korea. A research model and hypothesis was set based on the results of prior studies, and the effects of psychological happiness’ sub factors such as ‘display of capabilities’, ‘development of capabilities’, and ‘realization of goals’ on other sub factors such as ‘pleasure’, ‘confidence’, ‘concentration’, and ‘self-realization’ were analyzed. A survey was used in order to achieve the research goal. A final number of 293 people training Taekwondo during their stay in Korea’s survey responses were utilized for the final analysis, and an explanatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted through the statistics pagage program Window SPSS ver 22.0. Research results showed that self accomplishment had a statistically positive influence on psychological happiness’ sub factors ‘pleasure’, ‘confidence’, ‘concentration’, and ‘self-realization’, proving the hypothesis. Therefore, self accomplishment can be said to be an important factor in improving the psychological happiness of foreign laborers living in Korea, and above all else, the positive effects of Taekwondo training participation are shown through this study.
