Pelatihan Pembuatan Desain Kemasan Produk Pada UKM Sari Ne Lemon

Sari Ne Lemon in East Denpasar is an UKM that is active in lemon cultivation. The lemon plantation owned by Sari Ne Lemon is located in Pelaga Village, Petang District, Badung Regency. Although the lemon plantation is currently still in the village of Petang, the production and sales center is located in East Denpasar. Initially the results of the cultivation of lemon plantations were only in the form of lemons that had not undergone further processing. Currently, Sari Ne Lemon has developed lemon juice into packaged lemon juice. In its effort to develop lemon juice products, Sari Ne Lemon encountered difficulties in terms of packaging and marketing. The packaging owned by Sari Ne Lemon is still very simple, namely lemon juice is packaged and sold in plastic bottles. Therefore, the resulting product has not been able to compete in the industrial market. This service activity aims to find and implement solutions to the problems experienced by partners. Packaging that is only in the form of plastic bottles without labels will be changed into 2 types of packaging, namely labeled plastic bottle packaging and labeled plastic press glass packaging. With the activities of making branding and training on packaging of processed lemon juice products, it will produce products that have higher competitiveness and selling value. UKM Sari Ne Lemon has been helped by the successful development of their new product packaging through packaging design and implementation in 14 oz glass cups and small plastic bottles.

PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT ANALYSIS USING MALCOLM BALDRIGE CRITERIA FOR PERFORMANCE EXELLENCE (MBCfPE) METHOD (Case Study at PT. NYCZ)

PT. NYCZ is a manufacturing company engaged in plastic bottle packaging production that cannot be separated from the problem of competition with similar companies. The problems encountered at PT. NYCZ regarding employee performance, namely lack of communication relations between subordinates and superiors, so that delivery of work instructions from superiors is still not understood by subordinates, it has an impact on employee performance output, Therefore the company must improve more efficient strategies in terms of leadership that is able to run and manage everything in internal and external of the company, more reliable skilled workforces, modern machines and technology, and is able to get a wider market and customers in plastic bottle products marketing. Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence or Baldrige Criteria is a guide for a company to achieve high quality performance which consists 7 criterias, namely Leadership; Strategic Planning; Customer Focus; Measurement, Analysis and Knowledge Management; Focus on Workforce; Process Management; and Results. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to PT. NYCZ employees, respondents were taken according to job desks ranging from cashiers to managers. After questionnaire data was obtained, it was processed using SPSS to test validity and reliability. Then, questionnaire results were processed using Malcolm Baldrige score to determine company performance level. From the research results, it was obtained that the total points from Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence survey are 411,14. Pelatihan Penggunaan Mesin Sablon Botol Untuk Pelaku UMKM Makanan Minuman Ringan Di Kota Pasuruan

One way to attract consumers to buy products is through attractive packaging. Therefore, this community service (SSI) aims to provide training related to packaging polishing using screen printing for small scale industry actors in the city of Pasuruan. Specifically, the purpose of writing this article is to describe the implementation and results of bottle screen printing training as a form of community service for food and beverage business actors in the city of Pasuruan. The method implemented is divided into three main stages, namely analysis as well as preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The team collaborated with the Demer sablon company, Pasuruan city to provide screen printing training materials. In the training session, many participants were enthusiastic about asking questions and greatly appreciated the training activities. Also, in the practice of screen printing, many participants produced good screen prints in the first trial (84%), while others (16%) produced ordinary screen prints. It can be concluded that community service activities through bottle screen printing training for SSI actors in the city of Pasuruan are very useful and increase the knowledge and basic skills of participants on how to screen print packaging bottles manually.

Stress Distribution Analysis of the Rectangular and Star-Blade for Plastic Crusher Machine Using Finite Element Analysis

Recycling plastic waste can help reduce plastic waste, which is the world’s largest problem. The first solution is a plastic crusher machine, which converts plastic packaging into pellets, especially for plastics made from polyester, which is often used in bottle packaging. An integral part of the crushing machine is the crushing blade, which determines the design and analysis of the blade. The finite element analysis method is widely used in engineering analysis. Its results can provide useful information for the analysis of manufacturing processes. A rectangular blade and a star-shaped blade are the two types to consider. The analytical results obtained on the blade of the crusher machine in the rectangular shape that was given loads by 200 N, 400 N, and 600 N are 1.285 × 103 N/m2, 2.570 × 103 N/m2, and 3.855 × 103 N/m2, respectively. We obtained the displacements are 1.080 × 10-6 mm, 2.160 × 10-6 mm, and 3.241 × 10-6 mm, respectively. The maximum von mises stress result on consecutive star-shaped blades are 8.890 × 102 N/m2, 1.778 × 103 N/m2, and 2.667 × 103 N/m2. The displacement obtained are 1.211 × 10-6 mm, 2.422 × 10-6 mm, and 3.633 × 10-6 mm. The results of this analysis indicate that for the star blade, the shape is better than for the rectangular blade at the same time, and for the star blade, the stress is smaller than for the rectangular blade. Based on this simulation, the safety factor is 15, which means that it is more than 1, which means that it is safe.

PENDUGAAN UMUR SIMPAN GARAM FORTIFIKASI KELOR MENGGUNAKAN METODE ASLT

Moringa fortification salt is a salt that has the addition of nutrients using Moringa extract as an additional ingredient. Research objectives: 1) determine the effect of storage temperature and type of packaging on the quality of Moringa fortification salt. 2) determine the shelf life of the Moringa fortified salt product by estimating the shelf life of the Accelerated Shelf Life Testing (ASLT) method. The method used is the Arrhenius Model Accelerated Shelf Life Testing (ASLT). The results showed that differences in storage temperature and type of packaging significantly affected the color parameters of organoleptic tests, vitamin A, and vitamin C. The type of packaging significantly affected the parameters of NaCl content and color test (b). Shelf life of Moringa fortification salt using PET plastic bottle packaging temperature 60°C 16,71 months > PET plastic bottle packaging temperature 45°C 15,86 months > aluminum foil packaging temperature 60°C 15,17 months > aluminum foil packaging temperature 45°C C 14,80 months > PET plastic bottle packaging temperature 30°C 14,30 months > aluminum foil packaging temperature 30°C 13,47 months.

The shelf-life of chestnut rose beverage packaged in PEN/PET bottles under long term storage: A comparison to packaging in ordinary PET bottles

The shelf life of chestnut rose beverage is largely dependent on packaging method and storage temperature. In this study, we investigated the effects of packaging beverages in bottles made of either polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or PEN (polyethylene naphthalate)/PET and storage temperature (4, 25, 37, and 55 ℃) on the shelf life of chestnut rose beverage. The physicochemical parameters and enzyme activity of beverages were evaluated, and we found that at 4 °C, the vitamin C, superoxide dismutase, and total polyphenol contents of beverages stored in PEN/PET bottles increased by 9.95 ± 0.49%, 2.86 ± 0.13%, and 3.23 ± 0.09% respectively, compared to beverages in ordinary PET bottles. In addition, other characteristic indicators including total soluble solids, browning index, and color value were also significantly improved. A shelf-life model was established based on the Arrhenius equation, and it will help distributors and consumers to determine the storage time and optimal shelf life of chestnut rose beverage.

STUDY OF DEFECT ON 180 ML HDPE BOTTLES YOGURT PRODUCTS WITH SMC B11 EXTRUSION BLOW MACHINE AT PT X

The type of plastic packaging that is popular in the community is bottle packaging. The plastic material that is generally used to make plastic bottles is High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). The plastic bottle industry in Indonesia usually uses a blow molding process in its production process, where the blow molding process consists of injection blow molding, extrusion blow molding and stretch blow molding. The SMC B11 machine is one of the extrusion blow molding machines used to produce plastic bottle packaging. In producing workpieces, this machine still produces several products that are not in accordance with company standards, including in terms of production cycle times and product defects. Defects or defects that are often encountered include the appearance of spots, bent parison which causes the bottle to bend (the bottle body is thin one side) and blow pin which causes the thread to not fit.Keywords— Bottle, Plastic, Defect, Extrussion Blow Molding

The Structural Design of 3D Printed Bottle Prototype using a PLA Based Eco-friendly Polymer Packaging Material

Packaging materials research areas have a great concerned to develop and create attractive packaging item with eco-friendly and health impact. There is still an urgent need to establish innovative design and production standards that attract the eyes of the consumer, and these standards must be cost-effective and for the production. So this study aims to ergonomic science applied to design comfortable packaging bottle with easy drinkable and handling easily and using future environmentally friendly materials in the world of packaging. 3D printing technology was used to produce three bottle designs with a 45ᵒ inclination angle produced from polylactic acid (PLA) filament as biodegradable and eco-friendly polymer. The 3D printed bottles are designed as a prototype for the consumer. Three PLA bottles were investigated as acceptable packaging materials with mechanical properties, overall migration and migrated toxic heavy metals detection. The samples were analyzed for heavy metal content per ASTM E1613-04 where overall migration was measured according to EC 2011/10. Tensile strength and elongation at break exhibited good physico-mechanical properties with for 43 MPa and4.6 %, respectively as hard packaging item. The overall migration was acceptable according to EC 2011/10. In addition, migrated heavy metals detection shown tiny value as ≥ 0.3 ppm. Designing bottles were digitally printed to add a logo on bottle beside printed paper sticker. Moreover, statistical questionnaire scanning was shown a great acceptable percentage with more than 83% for designing, printing and easy use of produced bottles. 3D printing, ergonomic design and packaging materials research fields are combined to create sustainable packaging bottle for easy and health use.

Favorable Commercial and Health Behavior Impacts of a Healthy Vending Policy at an Australian University

BackgroundThe World Health Organization recognizes universities as an important health-promotion setting, including in healthy food provision. Previous research shows that healthy food retail interventions also need to consider commercial sustainability, including financial outcomes, and should take a holistic approach to consumer experience. ObjectiveOur aim was to determine the health behavior and commercial outcomes of a multicomponent traffic light–based healthy vending policy implemented as one part of a holistic university food policy. The hypothesis was that purchases of less healthy “red” beverages would decrease compared with predicted sales, that purchases of healthier “green” and “amber” alternatives would increase, and that there would be no change in revenue. DesignA quasi-experimental design evaluated a real-world food policy using monthly aggregated sales data to compare pre-intervention (January 2016 to March 2018) and post-intervention period sales (December 2018 to December 2019). Participants/settingElectronic sales data were collected from 51 beverage vending machines across 4 university campuses in Victoria, Australia. InterventionA multicomponent policy was implemented between April and November 2018. Beverages were classified using a voluntary state government traffic light framework. Policy included display ≤20% red beverages and ≥50% green beverages; machine traffic light labeling; health-promoting machine branding; review of machine placement; and recycled bottle packaging. Main outcome measuresChanges in red, amber, and green volume sales, and revenue compared with predicated sales. Statistical analyses performedInterrupted time series analysis of sales data compared post-policy sales with predicted sales. ResultsIn the 13th month post-policy implementation, there was a 93.2% (95% CI +35.9% to +150.5%) increase in total beverage volume sold and an 88.6% (95% CI +39.2% to +138.1%) increase in revenue. There was no change in red beverage volume sold, but increases in green (+120.8%; 95% CI +59.0% to +182.6%) and amber (+223.2%; 95% CI +122.4% to +323.9%) volume sold. ConclusionsSustained behavior change and commercial outcomes suggest that holistic vending interventions can effectively promote healthier beverage sales.

ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORKS FOR PREDICTING THE GENERATION OF ACETALDEHYDE IN PET RESIN IN THE PROCESS OF INJECTION OF PLASTIC PACKAGES

The industrial production of preforms for the manufacture of PET bottles, during the plastic injection process, is essential to regulate the drying temperature of the PET resin, to control the generation of Acetaldehyde (ACH), which alters the flavor of carbonated or non-carbonated drinks, giving the drink a citrus flavor and putting in doubt the quality of packaged products. In this work, an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) of the Backpropagation type (Cascadeforwardnet) is specified to support the decision-making process in controlling the ideal drying temperature of the PET resin, allowing specialists to make the necessary temperature regulation decisions for the best performance by decreasing ACH levels. The materials and methods were applied according to the manufacturer's characteristics on the moisture in the PET resin grain, which may contain between 50 ppm and 100 ppm of ACH. Data were collected for the method analysis, according to temperatures and residence times used in the blow injection process in the manufacture of the bottle preform, the generation of ACH from the PET bottle after solid post-condensation stage reached residual ACH levels below (3-4) ppm, according to the desired specification, reaching levels below 1 ppm. The results found through the Computational Intelligence (IC) techniques applied by the ANNs, where they allowed the prediction of the ACH levels generated in the plastic injection process of the bottle packaging preform, allowing an effective management of the parameters of production, assisting in strategic decision making regarding the use of temperature control during the drying process of PET resin.

DESIGN OF AN AUTOMATED BOTTLE PACKAGING SYSTEM

Industry 4.0 is changing the efficiency and output of current industries significantly. It is finding its way in every small application one can think of. Though in some small-scale industries in the developing countries are unable to afford such machines. Taking this into consideration this paper proposes a system to automate the process of packaging bottles by using different sensrs and actuators, which will be affordable to the small industries. Automating this final stage in the production of different bottles, will not only increase the efficiency of the industry but also save a lot of money in the long run.

Stability study of a compounded oral solution of nicardipine for the treatment of hypertension in children

Nicardipine is an antihypertensive drug that may be used off-label by oral route to treat hypertension in children. Currently commercially available tablets are inappropriate for oral use in children and manufactured hard capsules are not suitable for easy dose individualization to achieve target blood pressure. We aimed to fulfill this lack of appropriate dose forms by developing an oral liquid formulation of nicardipine.We compounded an extemporaneous 2 mg/mL nicardipine solution in InOrpha® vehicle for oral use with 1% polysorbate 80. A HPLC-MS/MS stability-indicating method was developed and validated. The stability was assessed under room temperature and refrigerated storage conditions. Nicardipine concentration remained above 95% of the initial concentration for 90 days in both storage conditions, without apparition of degradation products.Organoleptic parameters, pH, osmolality, viscosity and density were assessed and remained stable throughout storage. A uniformity of content was maintained before and after agitation of the packaging bottles. Mass uniformity of delivered doses was also ensured. Finally, the formulation met the Pharmacopoeia specifications for microbiological contaminations.In this study we report a compounded formulation of nicardipine for oral use in pediatrics. This solution, which could be easily manufactured, is being used in our hospital. Pharmacological and clinical parameters including bioavailability, pharmacokinetics, efficacy and tolerance remain to be assessed.

Design and evaluation of pharmaceutical availability, stability and quality of modified viscosity eye drops with choline salicylate

These studies investigate the possibility of developing and using choline salicylate (CS) in ophthalmic therapy in the form of eye drops with increased viscosity. A 0.5% addition of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) was used as the viscosity increasing agent. The ability of CS to cross a hydrophilic membrane (regenerated cellulose membrane) was assessed by determining a rate constant consistent with zero order kinetics. In studies on a porcine cornea, the ability of CS to penetrate into the structure of the cornea was confirmed by determining the content of CS in the cornea after 5 minutes and 3 hours exposure to eye drops. The quality parameters of eye drops were assessed: pH, viscosity, osmolarity and microbiological purity. Stability tests were also performed on eye drops stored in unit minims packaging and in multi-dose bottle packaging. The following storage conditions were adopted: 40°C/75% RH, 25°C/60% RH, 2-8°C. The sensitivity of CS to light was also confirmed. The UV and HPLC-UV methods were used to assess the CS content, while the HPLC-UV and HPLC-MS/MS methods were used to assess the chromatographic purity.

Integrated LCA and OPEN LCA-CML baseline analysis on environmental impact associated with the plastic packaging waste management system of Rubavu city Rwanda

Over the past few decades, the life cycle assessment (LCA) has been established as a critical tool for evaluating environmental issues of chemical processes and material cycles. Plastic bottles are the most used materials for packaging beverages and other liquids. In Rubavu, wasted plastic bottles end their lives in Rutagara. This is an open dumpsite that is home to all of the different types of generated waste of Rubavu city, and its management is alarming. This study analyses the impact on the environment associated with the existing plastic bottle waste pathways in Rubavu, Rwanda, from the cradle to the grave perspective until the other process in Nairobi Kenya, as an extended process. Questionnaires, Interviews, Literature: scientific papers, government reports and internet websites were used through this study to get both primary and secondary data. Open LCA CML (baseline) method was applied to analyze the environmental impacts caused by plastic bottles during their management, focusing on its parameters conspicuously: acidification potential, climate change (GWP100), depletion of abiotic resources (elements, ultimate reserves), depletion of abiotic resources (fossil fuels), eutrophication (generic), freshwater aquatic ecotoxicity( FAETP inf), human toxicity (HTP inf), marine aquatic ecotoxicity (MAETP inf), ozone layer depletion (ODP steady-state), photochemical oxidation (high NOx), terrestrial ecotoxicity (TETP inf). Two alternatives to these were also analysed: sanitary landfill, and recycling, described as scenarios 1 and 2. In this framework, the result of LCA shows that the use of landfill was found to have the highest adverse environmental effects, and this process has resulted in high global warming potential due to plastic bottle packaging waste decomposition effects as they release methane and ethylene, which contributes significantly to the greenhouse gases.

The stability study of electrolytic conductivity synthetic wastewater

The accurate and traceable measurement of electrochemical parameters, such as electrolytic conductivity, in water environment is crucial for water quality monitoring. This can be achieved by the use of metrological traceable certified reference material produced according to ISO 17034. It requires stability test of the reference material candidate as part of the certification for a new reference material. This study is focused on monitoring of the stability of electrolytic conductivity synthetic wastewater, as an example of complex solution containing high concentration of ions. The stability study is focused on the material of the packaging bottle, the shelf-life duration and the high temperature representing a shipping condition. The results demonstrate that the electrolytic conductivity synthetic wastewater is stable for all the conditions tested, but the synthetic wastewater packaged in glass bottle has longer shelf-life. The results confirmed that the synthetic wastewater has potential to be developed as a certified reference material.

STUDY OF DEFECT ON LLDPE PLUG FOR TELON OIL PRODUCTS USING A HAITIAN MOLDING INJECTION MACHINE 1600MA AT PT X

The type of plastic packaging that is popular among the public is bottle packaging, plastic bottle packaging always has a bottle cap. Some people only know that the part of the bottle cap is only on the outer cap, even though the plastic bottle cap consists of two types, namely the outer cap (cap) and the inner cap (plug). The plastic material used to make the plug is Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), a telon oil plug is produced using an injection molding machine, by inserting plastic pellets into the hopper and then heating it by the barrel, plastic pellets that have melted will be injected into the mold ( print). In the process of making the telon oil plug, a defect was found. From the observation, it is known that several types of defects that occur during the LLDPE oil plug production process include black dot, flashing, and unmould / short shot. Defects that occur during the telon oil plug production process are caused by damage, contamination, and mismatches in the engine parameter settings. The purpose of this study is to determine the causes and solutions of defects that occur in LLDPE telon oil plugs with the HAITIAN 1600MA injection molding machine at PT X. Some solutions are made to reduce defects that occur in telon oil LLDPE plugs is to clean the material reservoir, repair or replace the mold, clean the hopper before loading the material, and set up the barrel parameter 180-230oC, inject pressure 60 bar, holding pressure 30 bar, speed 17.8 seconds.

Analysis of raw material inventory for insecticide packaging bottle with material requirement planning: a case study

PT. Agricon mostly produces 1L package (bottle) pesticides named Spontan insecticide. This study was conducted to analyze and determine the stock inventory of 1L bottles for determining an effective ordering schedule based on the calculation of safety stock and reorder points to optimize planning and inventory. Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method used to determine the effective scheduling of 1L bottle products. Material Requirement Planning is one method used to determine scheduling with advantages such as reducing inventory, reducing set up costs, and reducing idle time. The proposed order scheme for ordering 1L insecticide packaging bottle improve the company on reducing the frequency for ordering bottles from 7 times to 5 times and inventory is more stable and close to demand quantity

PENGEMBANGAN SUMBER DAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN IPS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN ECOLITERACY PESERTA DIDIK

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan sumber dan media pembelajaran IPS dengan menghasilkan sebuah modul dan implementasi proses pembelajaran yang menjadi salah satu penggerak dalam meningkatkan ekoliterasi peserta didik dengan cara mendaur ulang kemasan produk konsumsi terutama dari kemasan botol plastik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan (Research and Development) Borg dan Gall dengan subjek penelitian Mts Al-Hidayah Wajak, yang menghasilkan sebuah produk kreasi daur ulang dari sampah botol plastik yang mengadopsi dari materi Kewirausahaan. Modul didesain agar peserta didik bisa mempraktekkan daur ulang sampah yang kreatif dan inovatif , dampak sampah plastik yang tidak didaur ulang bagi masyarakat dan solusi untuk mengatasinya, yang kedua adalah macam-macam kreasi dan inovasi daur ulang sampah plastik yang terdiri dari dua puluh satu kreasi sampah botol plastik dan langkah-langkah dalam membuatnya, dan yang terahir adalah kisah-kisah inspiratif yang berasal dari pengusaha sampah plastik. Sumber dan media pembelajaran IPS yang berupa modul yang telah dikembangangkan telah di implementasikan dalam proses pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran berjalan sangat menyenangkan hal tersebut terlihat dari antusias peserta dalam mengikuti pembelajaran karena peserta terlibat langsung dalam proses pemanfaatan/mendaur ulang sampah botol plastik.DEVELOPING OF SOCIAL STUDIES LEARNING SOURCES AND MEDIA TO IMPROVE ECOLITERACY OF PUPILS The research aims to develop social studies learning resources and media by producing a module and implementing a learning process that becomes one of the driving forces in increasing the eco-literation of students by recycling consumer product packaging, especially from plastic bottle packaging. This research method uses the development model (Research and Development) of Borg and Gall with the research subject of Mts Al-Hidayah Wajak, which produces a recycled creative product from plastic bottle waste that adopts entrepreneurship materials. The module is designed so that students can practice creative and innovative waste recycling, the impact of plastic waste that is not recycled for society, and solutions to overcome it, the second is various kinds of plastic waste recycling creations and innovations consisting of twenty-one waste creations plastic bottles and the steps in making them, and finally, inspiring stories from plastic waste entrepreneurs. Social studies learning resources and media in the form of modules that have been developed have been implemented in the learning process, the learning process is very pleasant, this can be seen from the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the lesson because participants are directly involved in the process of utilizing and recycling plastic bottle waste.

Reform and implementation of technical English course for brewing engineering undergraduates based on STEAM theory

Technical English is a compulsory course for brewing engineering undergraduates. To improve the quality and effectiveness of teaching, we introduced science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (abbreviated to STEAM) education theory in technical English teaching of brewing engineering students, and selected, designed, integrated and optimized the teaching contents. With the help of the Rain Classroom, Massive Open Online Courses of Tsinghua University (XuetangX), Open Language, Wine Folly, training courses of Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and other platform resources, teaching methods, assessment ways and multi-element teaching evaluation system have been innovatively reformed. By using advanced teaching methods such as mind mapping drawing, micro-video production, situational dialogues, topic speech, creative program design and design competition of wine label and bottle packaging, it could effectively improve students' learning interest and engagement, and enhance students' knowledge of professional English and comprehensive application ability.

Pengaruh Jenis Kemasan dan Lama Penyimpanan terhadap Mutu Bubuk Andaliman

This study aims to determine the effect of packaging types and storage duration on the quality of andaliman powder. The study was conducted at the Laboratory of Processing and Management of Agricultural Products, Agricultural Product Technology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Catholic University of St. Thomas Medan. This research was conducted using Factorial Complete Random Design method. The first factor is packaging with a password (K), consisting of 4 types, namely: K1 is Glass bottle, K2 is Plastic bottle, K3 is Flip plastic and K4 is Paper. The second factor is the storage time with L code which consists of four levels, namely: L0 is 0 weeks, L1 is 2 weeks, L2 is 4 weeks and L3 is 6 weeks. The results showed that the type of packaging had a very significant effect on water content, total acid, oleoresin content and organoleptic value, but it was not significant for ash content. The highest water content, ash content and total acid were found in paper plastic packaging, while the lowest was in glass bottle packaging, while the highest oleoresin content and highest organoleptic value were found in glass bottle packaging, while the lowest was on paper packaging. Storage time has a very significant effect on water content, total acid, oleoresin content and organoleptic value, but not significant to ash content. The longer the storage, the moisture content, ash content and total acid content increase, while the oleoresin content and organoleptic values decrease. The interaction between the type of packaging and storage duration gave no significant effect on water content, ash content, total acid, oleoresin content and organoleptic value. The best quality of andaliman powder is obtained in the type of glass bottles and plastic bottles which can be seen from the water content, oleoresin content and organoleptic value. Â
