Trend of Da’wah Bil Hal in Industrial Society: A Case Study of PT PLN Purwokerto

The implementation of da’wah can be realized in various places, including the workplace. Da’wah bil hal can be implemented in industrial society according to the rhythm of the work done. In general, da’wah is categorized into two: da’wah bi al-lisan (with oral) and da’wah bi al-hal (with action). The practice of da’wah directly with action (bi al-hal) is no less exciting and widely carried out as a social movement of Islamic da'wah. The form carried out is philanthropy-based and prioritizes generosity and concern for others. This study aims to obtain information about the trend (modern style) of da’wah carried out by PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Purwokerto. Elaborate further on modern da’wah activities as an alternative to the development of da’wah following changes in industrial society. The results of this research can be used as a model or format of modern da’wah for the industrial community, especially players in the industrial world (companies), both government-owned and individual-owned or group-owned (private). Changes in modern society in the industrial world can be balanced with da’wah bil hal, namely by doing various charities following the ability as a worker at work.

Use of artificial neural networks in architecture: determining the architectural style of a building with a convolutional neural networks

AbstractThe discussion of "can machines think?" which started with the invention of the modern computer, brought along the question of "can machines design?" by researchers in the design field. These developments in information technologies have also affected the architecture. Artificial intelligence applications are encountered in many areas such as pricing estimation, energy conservation security systems of buildings, ventilation systems, user-oriented interactive design solutions, computer-aided programs used in the plan production phase and design process. When the literature on artificial intelligence applications in the architecture is reviewed, it can be seen that it generally includes shape grammars, graph theory, decision trees, constraint-based models, machine learning methods, RNN (Recursive Neural Networks), CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) and GAN (Generative Adversarial Network) algorithms. In this study, the use of artificial intelligence algorithms in architecture was examined, and an example was designed to determine the architectural structures of different periods by using CNN (Convolutional Neural Network). In the study, the open source TensorFlow library developed by Google and the Python programming language were used. Employing a statistical approach and utilizing convolutional neural networks (CNNs), a study has successfully classified the current flow patterns of buildings based on datasets comprising facades of Gothic, Modern, and Deconstructivist architectural styles. The findings demonstrate the efficacy of CNNs in accurately distinguishing the intricate details of diverse architectural styles. Recognizing elements from different periods using the CNN algorithm can examine not only individual buildings but also the relationship of buildings with their environments. It can also gain an important place in the field of conservation of the architectural discipline. The historical processes, aesthetic features and changes of protected buildings can be learned with the CNN algorithm and can guide restoration decisions. As a result of the study, the employed CNN-based model can correctly classify structures with 84.66% accuracy rate.

Optimizing the Use of Lontara Fonts and Characters in Learning Local Content of Bugis Local Language at Junior High School Level in Sidenreng Rappang

This research aims to optimize the utilization of Lontara fonts and characters in the development of teaching materials and local culture-based learning media. It is expected to increase students' learning motivation by presenting learning materials in accordance with the trend of the times and current needs. The implementation of this teaching strategy involves the use of computers as an effective source of instruction and multimedia as a learning motivation tool that can accommodate modern learning styles. With this innovation, it is expected that the ability to use multimedia in the learning process will improve, which in turn will make students more enthusiastic in learning Bugis local content at the junior high school level. Overall, the main contribution of this research is to create relevant teaching strategies in learning, utilize computers as an effective source of instruction, utilize multimedia as a learning motivation tool, and increase students' enthusiasm in learning Bugis local content.

Türkiye ve Endonezya’da Camilerin Mekân Özellikleri Açısından Karşılaştırmalı Olarak İncelenmesi

This study aims to compare the spatial features of mosques in Turkey and Indonesia, both predominantly Muslim countries. The introduction provides a general definition of religion and highlights the significance of religious structures. It explains that religion is a belief system and emphasizes the importance of religious structures for societies. The formation and development of religious buildings often rely on sacred texts, rituals, moral principles, and societal rules. Mosques are significant religious spaces where Muslims gather for collective worship. They contribute significantly to areas such as culture, architecture, and art. However, this study scrutinizes and reviews the differences and similarities in the design, implementation, and use of mosques in Turkey and Indonesia, taking into account academic studies on the subject. In both countries, mosques are built in two different styles: Classical and modern. The study examines well-known mosques in Turkey, including the Sultan Ahmet Mosque and the Suleymaniye Mosque (classical style) and the Şakirin Mosque and the Sancaklar Mosque (modern style). The study includes classical style mosques such as the Al Mahsun Grand Mosque and the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, as well as modern style mosques like the Istiqlal Mosque and the Babuttaqwa Utama Mosque in Indonesia. These mosques were chosen as prominent examples based on the time periods they were built, their purposes of construction, their current uses, and their impact on their respective contexts. Although there have been numerous academic studies on mosque architecture in Turkey and Indonesia, there is a lack of literature that comparatively examines mosque architecture formation in the context of cultural and spatial differences between these two cultures. This gap highlights the importance of the current study.

Deep Learning Techniques for Identifying Poets in Arabic Poetry: A Focus on LSTM and Bi-LSTM

In this paper, we introduce a comprehensive approach to the classification of Arabic poetry using deep learning techniques. We utilized a dataset comprising nearly one million records of Arabic poetry verses, each labeled with nine different poets encompassing both classical and modern poetic styles. We explored various algorithms to identify the most effective models for accurately determining the poet's identity from the verses. Based on our analysis, we selected LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) and Bi-LSTM (Bidirectional LSTM) as our primary baseline models, given the demonstrated efficacy of RNN (Recurrent Neural Network) variants in text classification. LSTM, in particular, has shown significant proficiency in analyzing sequential data across multiple languages. Our results indicate a promising average classification accuracy of 92.35%, highlighting the potential for automating the classification of texts in morphologically complex languages such as Arabic. Notably, Bi-LSTM marginally outperformed the standard LSTM, achieving average accuracy of 92.56%. We further discuss the implications of our findings for Arabic literature, particularly in the realm of poetry, and address the challenges encountered during the study. These findings represent a significant advancement in Arabic NLP, offering a powerful framework for poet identification and paving the way for future applications of deep learning in processing Arabic literary texts.

ВИЗУАЛЬНЫЕ МЕТАМОРФОЗЫ: КУЛЬТУРОЛОГИЧЕСКИЙ АНАЛИЗ ЦИФРОВОЙ КИБЕРЭСТЕТИКИ

This article focuses on the emerging styles of visual digital aesthetics that have become relevant in light of technological advancements and the introduction of innovative tools for creating and processing digital images. The analysis is based on a cultural approach and aims to identify the influence of contemporary digital technologies on the shaping of cultural benchmarks and aesthetic preferences in art and design. The primary focus is on scrutinizing the defining attributes of modern styles that have taken shape within the digital sphere at the onset of the 21st century (such as vaporwave, seapunk, webpunk, psychedelia, pixel art, voxel art, and others) and delving into their artistic autonomy and cultural nuances. Style is defined here as both a guiding principle of artistic thought and a distinctive mode of communication among cultural agents. An integral component of this study involves comprehending how digital technologies impact the interpretation of contemporary culture and society at large. The study aims to uncover the peculiarities of modern transnational culture, as a mode of consciousness and worldview, through the lens of the artistic culture of the early 21st century. The research identifies overarching tendencies characteristic of contemporary network art, outlining the interrelations and differentiations among new digital styles. It meticulously examines distinct style clusters based on various criteria. The classification of contemporary visual styles is predicated on methods and techniques of creation and imitation, usage contexts, presentation specifics, and design elements. The results of the study can enrich the exploration of contemporary culture and visual phenomena, aiding in forecasting future trajectories within the realm of innovative visual expressions.

АКАДЕМИЧЕСКАЯ МУЗЫКА ХХ – ПЕРВОЙ ЧЕТВЕРТИ ХХI ВЕКА: НА ПУТИ К ОСВОЕНИЮ

In the musical environment of philharmonic concert venues and musical educational institutions, the compositions of past centuries prevail over the music of modern styles and trends. This article discusses a number of issues related to the causes of this imbalance and analyses its impact on the formation of the repertoire preferences of the audience and the development of musical thinking of the admirers of academic music. In addition, the author brings up for professional discussion the topic of the responsibility of performing musicians for the formation of a sound environment that plays a decisive role in shaping public thinking. The article raises a delicate topic of evaluating the actions of some representatives of the musical and educational community who claim a monopoly of absolute truth regarding which styles and trends in modern music are worthy of being performed in the “temple of art” and which are not. When identifying the reasons for the current attitude of performing musicians towards the work of modern composers, the author of the article, based on the provisions of information theory, suggests considering a musical work both as a result of the composer’s creative activity and as an example of creating an information message for society. This approach allows drawing performers’ attention to the need for mastering the modern musical language, whose synthetic sign system is uniform for all participants in musical communication: the composer, the performer and the audience. The proposals for addressing this important problem are outlined in the final part of the article.

Tipologi Fasad Bangunan Pada Rumah Besak di Kampung Arab Assegaf Palembang

Assegaf Village is a settlement located on the banks of the Musi River and is inhabited by residents of Arab descent. This region continues to uphold traditional and cultural norms which are closely related to religious values. With the development it has experienced, Assegaf Village has given birth to a new settlement which still maintains its special characteristics as a place to live for people of Arab descent. This village has high historical and cultural value. The research methods used include field surveys, visual documentation, and interviews with nearby workers to understand the unique characteristics of the building facade. The aim of this research is to analyze and classify the typology of building facades in besak houses in Kampung Arab Assegaf Palembang. The findings of this research are that this building was built in the 19th century using the Indies House type. The typology of the Rumah Besak building facade is more of a modern architectural style as seen in the composition of the facade which is not symmetrical but does not forget the elements of traditional Palembang houses

Initially, it is characterized by historicism, argumentatively supported by the doctrine of socialist realism, and from the late 1950s, a moderated modern style, serving the same representative function (metro, hotels, monuments).

Exploring the Foothold of Kunqu in Modern Society Through a Comparative Study of Different Versions of The Peony Pavilion

After the publication of the youth version of The Peony Pavilion in 2004, Kunqu, a classical Chinese theatre, experienced a significant resurgence in both popularity and esteem. This renewal instigated a stronger emphasis on inventive and contemporary adaptations of the traditional repertoire. As culture evolves and advances, there is no doubt that classical theatre must also adapt to keep up with the times. The primary aim of this essay is to examine a contemporary phenomenon through a research methodology that compares and contrasts traditional and modern theatre styles. Specifically, this research focuses on the modern rendition of The Peony Pavilion, a renowned Kunqu opera that illustrates how traditional Chinese theatre can be adjusted to modern contexts while preserving its allure and importance. Additionally, this research project investigates the qualities and mechanisms of modernization in classical Chinese theatre. By concentrating on The Peony Pavilion, this study seeks to disclose how Kunqu integrates and embraces change while retaining its fundamental aspects. As a result, the research aids in crafting efficient techniques for modifying classical art forms to contemporary settings, guaranteeing that these traditional art forms remain significant and appealing over time. This will meet the increasing demand for contemporary performances while ensuring the longevity and preservation of classical arts in the ever-evolving 21st century.

PITHECANTHROPUS ERECTUS BATIK FOR HAUTE COUTURE CLOTHES: A BLEND OF PRIMITIVE AND MODERN STYLES

ABSTRACTThe source of the idea for the creation of this final project is the discovery of the Pithecanthropus Erectus fossil which is enshrined in the Song Terus Pacitan museum, this discovery is one of the earliest evidences of human evolution in prehistoric times. Phitechanthropus Erectus is an ancient human species that lived 1.9 million years ago. The characteristics of ancient humans, Phitechanthropus Erectus, had a more robust body than their predecessors. The purpose of making this work is to 1. Create a written batik motif design with the source idea of Pithecanthropus Erectus with a blend of primitive and modern styles 2. Create a haute couture fashion design with a source of batik ideas from pithecanthropus erectus combining primitive and modern styles 3. Apply the Pithecanthropus written batik motif Erectus into Haute Couture fashion design. The method in creating this work uses the principle of 3 stages, namely Exploration, Design and Realization. The final work produced is in the form of 5 Haute couture clothing with abstract coloring techniques on batik motifs. The finished batik cloth is combined with brocade and toyyobo fabrics which are applied to haute couture clothing. The motif title for this work is "Primi Hominis" which comes from the Greek language which means the First Man. The resulting work consists of 5 batik consisting of 5 batik motif designs, namely (1) Pusering jagat Batik Motif Design (2) Pawonan Batik Motif Design (3) Hanguripi Batik Motif Design (4) Riba mburu Batik Motif Design (5) Batik Motif Design ancient stone, which has the main motif of pithechanthropus erectus and 5 Haute couture clothing, namely (1) Spelaiotai (2) Synergasia (3) Agrotikos (4) Dimiourgikos (5) Kainotomos. This batik will be mixed and matched with haute couture clothing. In every haute couture fashion has a different form.

Affective response difference to the viewing of different styles of solid wood furniture based on Kansei engineering

Homogeneity of products is a serious problem in China’s solid wood furniture market, especially reflected in the fact that the furniture form cannot meet the individualized demand of consumers. To explore the differences of consumers’ affective response for different styles of solid wood furniture, this study used Kansei engineering to perform perceptual semantic experiments on Ming-style, Qing-style, and modern Chinese-style furniture. The perceptual images of three styles of solid wood chairs were compared by single factor variance. Additionally, it deconstructed the morphological elements of solid wood seats using morphological analysis and established a mapping model between morphological elements and affective response by quantification theory type-I and multivariable linear regression model. The results show that there are differences in affective response between Ming-style, Qing-style, and modern Chinese style solid wood furniture. Qing-style solid wood furniture tends to be “ornate” and “personalized”. Modern Chinese-style solid wood furniture tends to be “modern” and “streamlined”, Ming-style solid wood furniture is in between the two styles. This study can provide furniture designers with a way to compare the differences in affective responses of different products, and the resulting relationship between affective responses and morphological elements can assist in designing products.

Analyzing the Preacher Communication Model on Social Media Content: Social and Political Issues of Indonesia

This study analyses the communication models used by two preachers, Habib Husein Jafar and Aab Elkarimi, to spread Da’wah messages through Da’wah phenomena on social media. This research focuses on how these two preachers use social media, especially TikTok and Instagram, to communicate religious messages and raise relevant social and political issues. The analysis method is carried out by observing the TikTok content of the two preachers and analyzing their communication approach. The results show that the preacher Habib Husein Jafar adopts a modern and youth-friendly communication style, with an appearance and speaking style different from the general image of "Habib". He utilizes everyday social phenomena as an entry point to deliver Islamic religious messages that young people can accept. Besides that, Aab Elkarimi, as a young content creator, adopts a critical approach to presenting in-depth analyses of social, political and religious issues. He invites his audience to think critically about the phenomenon and relate it to the teachings of Islam. Both reached their target audience, young people, with positive effects. Their messages help build a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings, overcome negative stereotypes of religion, and encourage a more critical view of social and political issues. This research provides insights into how preachers can use social media as an effective tool to spread religious messages and bridge the gap between religious teachings and the social and political realities their audiences face in today's digital age.

Cultural Revitalization of Tha Phae Road: An In-Depth Exploration of Contemporary Lanna Architectural Facades and Urban Identity

This study presents a comprehensive analysis of contemporary Lanna architecture on Tha Phae Road, a historically and culturally significant street in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The main objective of this research is to conduct this comprehensive analysis of the revitalization process with a specific focus on the architectural facades of the revitalized buildings. The study aims to document and evaluate how traditional Lanna architectural elements have been integrated with Modern, Western, and Chinese architectural styles during the process, while also investigating its ensuing urban impacts. Employing a descriptive case study approach, this research draws upon a diverse array of primary and secondary sources, including scholarly literature and on-site photographs. Through the examination of three representative case studies (1) Modern-Lanna style, (2) Modern-Western-Lanna style, and (3) Modern-Western-Chinese-Lanna style, this study illustrates the deliberate amalgamation of traditional Lanna elements with modern design features, resulting in a dynamic and captivating urban landscape. The findings reveal a successful synergy between historical preservation and contemporary urban development. The integration of Lanna design elements with modern features not only effectively conserves the region's cultural identity but also contributes to sustainable architectural principles. Significantly, the implementation of building control regulations has played a pivotal role in preserving the inherent integrity of Lanna architectural styles. Moreover, this research offers valuable insights for scholars, architects, and urban planners, providing practical guidance on harmoniously incorporating cultural heritage into contemporary Lanna designs while ensuring the enduring preservation of the region's distinctive identity.

FEATURES OF CONTEMPORARY CHINESE STYLE IN DIGITAL FASHION DESIGN: CASES OF FASHION INDUSTRY PRODUCTS

To analyze the artistic and aesthetic characteristics that influence the modern digital design of Chinese-style clothing, the practice of creation and to propose modern digital design solutions in the design of jewelry, style and clothing. The theoretical and practical research methods have been used: analysis of scientific and professional literature on the topic of research, design based on the evolution of patterns and forms, analysis of analogs of design objects, design and creation of a product using specialized software. The main features of modern Chinese style in clothing design and personal image are revealed. The main characteristics of the design style solutions of modern Chinese digital clothing and personal image are summarized. According to the results of the research, projects of digital design of jewelry and personal image were developed. The characteristics of the main forms of digital fashion design in the Chinese style are analyzed, the development trends that affect modern Chinese fashion design are revealed, and some practical results of digital fashion design are summarized. The results of the study can be used to analyze and develop industrial and consumer-oriented design of clothing, jewelry and personal image in Chinese style. The results of the study can be used to further explore digital clothing design and personal image in Chinese style for media content.

 Nutrition is a crucial factor in both health and development. Better nutrition is linked to stronger immune systems, safer pregnancies and births, a lower risk of non-communicable diseases (including diabetes and cardiovascular disease), and longer lifespans. However, the modern style of life and eating habits contribute to poor nutrition and health issues including diabetes and obesity. Millets, which don't make you gain weight and are also incredibly nutritious, can be employed in these circumstances. A variety of small-seeded grass species called millets are widely grown as cereal grains for human and animal nutrition around the world. The bulk of the plants that are frequently referred to as millets are members of the grass family Poaceae or Gramineae. Due to its abundance in protein, fibre, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, potassium, and manganese, millet is a nutrient powerhouse. The value of millets in daily life is discussed in this article. A few millet preparations are also explained in order to include them into daily life.
 
 

Unquiet Qing: The Course of Lovesickness in the Modernization of Chinese Literature

Lovesickness (xiangsi bing), a disease of qing (sentiment, passion, feeling, desire, and love), emerged as a literary topos in China's medieval lyrical tradition and was developed through late imperial drama and fiction. This article examines narratives of lovesickness in popular literature—both fiction and drama—from the Song (960–1279) to the Qing (1644–1912), including some texts rarely discussed in English scholarship from the perspective of love writing. With thorough documentation, we present two classic plot patterns of the literary malady: one involving mutual affection of separated lovers, the other the one-sided passion, whether of unrequited (usually male) love or of one part of a couple longing for reunion. We argue that the notorious lovelorn figures in late Ming (sixteenth and seventeenth centuries) legal cases and Qing scholar-beauty xiaoshuo novels made lovesickness a target for criticism by literati and prompted reflection and revision of traditional narratives. With the modernization and westernization of Chinese literature, this classical literary malady was finally “cured.” The disappearance of lovesickness reflects the gradual replacement of classical ways of thinking with a modern cognitive style and, simultaneously, the transition of Chinese literature from classical to modern.

Acoustic study of the Roman theatre of Pompeii: Comparison between existing condition and future installation of two parametric acoustic shellsa).

Roman theatres have always been the subject of research that takes into account not only acoustics, but also archaeological and architectural aspects. It is difficult to draw the boundary line between these disciplines since the interrelation between the different types of expertise is necessary to allow a good production of contemporary architecture in a specific context, such as a Roman theatre. This paper deals with the acoustic analysis of three specific scenarios in the context of the Roman theatre of Pompeii. The reconstruction of the original form, which represents the first scenario, is based on the recent archaeological findings of the ancient city, which was buried for almost two millennia after the eruption of the volcano Vesuvius. The second scenario envisions a future acoustic shell in the form of a mushroom, where the ceiling is the continuation of the vertical surface. The third scenario consists of a parametric design of a shell, representing a modern style velarium; as the curve creates focusing effects, the addition of reflective panels directs the sound evenly to the audience. These latest two architectural designs are intended to make the archaeological site of Pompeii suitable for live concerts and contemporary venues. The digital model representing the current conditions was calibrated with the measured values; the calibrated model was used to study the design of two parametric shell options, proposed as alternatives to provide good acoustics to the audience. The simulated results indicate that the main acoustic parameters are closer to or within the optimal values, resulting in a significant improvement in the acoustic performance of the space.

Intersection of Traditional Religious Authority and New Authority in the Digital Space of Indonesia

<span lang="EN-US">The emergence of new media, such as social media, has provided a space for religious communities or groups to create religious narratives or religious discourses in the digital realm. Religion is represented in a more contemporary manner, supported by advanced information technologies, packaged, and reproduced in a more modern style. Religious discourse in the digital space has thus made religious authority fluid and complex, no longer rigid and solely held by religious institutions. This condition has given rise to what is known as online authority. Online authority, in the early studies of digital religious authority, is considered by several scholars to potentially shift the existence and legitimacy of traditional authorities that have been in existence for a longer period. Traditional authority is deemed unable to adapt to digital practices. Through a literature review approach, this paper concludes that traditional and online authority are not separate entities; traditional authority can enter and exist in the online domain with packaging, styles, and innovations that align with digital practices. Traditional authority, with its strong legitimacy, is capable of presenting itself in the online domain, being repackaged and represented in ways or styles that are in line with contemporary and modern trends.</span><p> </p>
