Copying and Recreation Methods of Painting Works Relying on Mobile Digital Multimedia Big Data Analysis.

In order to improve the effect of copying and recreation of painting works, this paper combines mobile digital multimedia big data technology to improve the image coding algorithm, identify the characteristics of existing works, apply the algorithm to the detailed analysis of painting works, and construct the main functional structure modules of the system. Moreover, this paper combines the existing hardware equipment to construct the painting works' recreation system and obtains the image processing module. After the system is constructed, the effect of copying and recreating painting works is analyzed through the mobile digital multimedia big data analysis technology. Finally, this paper constructs the system of this paper through simulation methods and uses experiments to calculate the feature recognition effect and copy effect of the painting works of the system. Through experimental analysis, it can be known that the copying and recreation system of painting works based on mobile digital multimedia big data analysis proposed in this paper can help painters effectively improve the effect of recreation.

Particle Swarm Optimization Video Streaming Service in Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks

Owing to the increasing capabilities of mobile devices and the development of mobile communication techniques in vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs), mobile multimedia services have focused on supporting high Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE) for the subscribers in video streaming services. In VANETs, high-quality video streaming services aim to provide safety, as well as various infotainment applications to the subscribers. Owing to the dynamic topology and frequent connectivity changes in moving vehicles, video streaming services require elastic and continuous updates of vehicle information to present interactive real-time views of nontrivial scenarios on roads. To achieve high QoS and QoE of video streaming services in VANETs, this paper proposes a novel protocol named PSOstreaming that is based on a particle swarm optimization (PSO) which is one one of the mainstream and nature-inspired algorithms for swarm intelligence (SI). PSOstreaming calculates the PSQ score, which is the scoring method of the node in the topology in terms of the data communication capability measurement to analyze and optimize topology information in real-road circumstances. In addition, PSOstreaming utilizes a 3D vector mobility prediction algorithm for the mobility prediction method for the vehicles to address the characteristics of VANETs. In the topology, PSOstreaming defines Global PSO members and Local PSO members to disseminate video packets for video-streaming services to the service requester by computational equations. Experimental results indicate that PSOstreaming achieves high-quality video streaming services with a flexible response to dynamic topology changes and a high frame delivery ratio in terms of QoS and QoE.

Anycast Transmission in Routing Modulation Level Spectrum Assignment (RMLSA) Problem on Space Division Multiplexing (SDM) Elastic Optical Networks (EON)

With the rise of cloud computing in recent years, a large number of streaming media has yielded an exponential growth in network traffic. With the now present 5G and future 6G, the development of the Internet of Things (IoT), social networks, video on demand, and mobile multimedia platforms, the backbone network is bound to bear more traffic. The transmission capacity of Single Core Fiber (SCFs) may be limited in the future and Spatial Division Multiplexing (SDM) leveraging multi-core fibers promises to be one of the solutions for the future. Currently, Elastic optical networks (EONs) with multi-core fibers (MCFs) are a kind of SDM-enabled EONs (SDM-EON) used to enhance the capacity of transmission. The resource assignment in MCFs, however, will be subject to Inter-Core Crosstalk (IC-XT), hence, reducing the effectiveness of transmission. This research highlights the routing, modulation level, and spectrum assignment (RMLSA) problems with anycast traffic mode in SDM-EON. A multipath routing scheme is used to reduce the blocking rate of anycast traffic in SDM-EON with the limit of inter-core crosstalk. Hence, an integer linear programming (ILP) problem is formulated and a heuristic algorithm is proposed. Two core-assignment strategies: First-Fit (FF) and Random-Fit (RF) are used and their performance is evaluated through simulations. The simulation results show that the multipath routing method is better than the single-path routing method in terms of blocking ratio and spectrum utilization ratio. Moreover, the FF is better than the RF in low traffic load in terms of blocking ratio (BR), and the opposite in high traffic load. The FF is better than the RF in terms of a spectrum utilization ratio. In an anycast protection problem, the proposed algorithm has a lower BR than previous works.

A Survey on Multimedia Services QoE Assessment and Machine Learning-Based Prediction

The groundbreaking evolution in mobile and wireless communication networks design in recent years, in combination with the advancement of mobile terminal equipment capabilities, has led in an exponential growth of mobile internet technologies, and arose an ever-growing demand for innovative multimedia services. The highly demanding in terms of network resources over-the-top media services, as well as the emergence of new and complex mobile multimedia services such as video gaming, ultra-high-definition video, and extended reality, requires the enhancement of end-users’ perceived quality of experience (QoE). QoE has garnered much research interest in recent years, and has emerged as a key component in the evaluation of network services and operations. As a result, a QoE-aware network planning approach is getting increasingly favored, and novel design challenges, such as how to quantify and measure QoE, have arisen. In this regard, a paradigm shift in network implementations is being envisioned, in which the focus will be on machine learning (ML) methodologies for developing QoE prediction models, directly related to end-user’s personalized experience. In this survey, an analysis on application-oriented, ML-based QoE prediction models for the goal of QoE management for multimedia services is presented. In addition, an examination of the state-of-the-art ML-based QoE predictive models and some of the innovative techniques and challenges related to multimedia services quality assessment with focus on extended reality and video gaming applications are outlined.

An Optimized Algorithm for Resource Allocation for D2D in Heterogeneous Networks

With the emergence of 5G mobile multimedia services, end users’ demand for high-speed, low-latency mobile communication network access is increasing. Among them, the device-to-device (D2D) communication is one of the considerable technology. In D2D communication, the data does not need to be relayed and forwarded by the base station, but under the control of the base station, a direct local link is allowed between two adjacent mobile devices. This flexible communication mode reduces the processing bottlenecks and coverage blind spots of the base station, and can be widely used in dense user communication scenarios such as heterogeneous ultra-dense wireless networks. One of the important factors which affects the quality-of-service (QoS) of D2D communications is co-channel interference. In order to solve this problem of co-channel interference, this paper proposes a graph coloring based algorithm. The main idea is to utilize the weighted priority of spectrum resources and enables multiple D2D users to reuse the single cellular user resource. The proposed algorithm also provides simpler power control. The heterogeneous pattern of interference is determined using different types of interferences and UE and the priority of color is acquired. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm effectively reduced the co-channel interference, power consumption and improved the system throughput as compared with existing algorithms.

Research on the effect of mobile multimedia advertising based on deep learning

In order to solve the problems of inaccurate analysis and unsatisfactory evaluation effect of traditional methods, this paper proposes a mobile multimedia advertising delivery effect research based on deep learning. Taking the real dataset of mobile multimedia advertising as the research object, the feature data of mobile multimedia advertising are extracted by convolution neural network; and the mobile multimedia advertising feature data are classified with the classification decision model constructed. The extracted feature data are standardised preprocessed, and principal component analysis is introduced to remove the redundancy of feature data; the evaluation index system of mobile multimedia advertising effect is constructed; and the support vector regression model is constructed to evaluate the effect of mobile multimedia advertising. The simulation results show that the proposed method can accurately evaluate the effect of mobile multimedia advertising, and the evaluation accuracy rate can reach 98%, and the evaluation time is short.

Adaptive and Lightweight Abnormal Node Detection via Biological Immune Game in Mobile Multimedia Networks

Considering the contradiction between limited node resources and high detection costs in mobile multimedia networks, an adaptive and lightweight abnormal node detection algorithm based on artificial immunity and game theory is proposed in order to balance the trade-off between network security and detection overhead. The algorithm can adapt to the highly dynamic mobile multimedia networking environment with a large number of heterogeneous nodes and multi-source big data. Specifically, the heterogeneous problem of nodes is solved based on the non-specificity of an immune algorithm. A niche strategy is used to identify dangerous areas, and antibody division generates an antibody library that can be updated online, so as to realize the dynamic detection of the abnormal behavior of nodes. Moreover, the priority of node recovery for abnormal nodes is decided through a game between nodes without causing excessive resource consumption for security detection. The results of comparative experiments show that the proposed algorithm has a relatively high detection rate and a low false-positive rate, can effectively reduce consumption time, and has good level of adaptability under the condition of dynamic nodes.

Video Packet Distribution Scheme for Multimedia Streaming Services in VANETs.

By leveraging the development of mobile communication technologies and due to the increased capabilities of mobile devices, mobile multimedia services have gained prominence for supporting high-quality video streaming services. In vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANETs), high-quality video streaming services are focused on providing safety and infotainment applications to vehicles on the roads. Video streaming data require elastic and continuous video packet distributions to vehicles to present interactive real-time views of meaningful scenarios on the road. However, the high mobility of vehicles is one of the fundamental and important challenging issues for video streaming services in VANETs. Nevertheless, previous studies neither dealt with suitable data caching for supporting the mobility of vehicles nor provided appropriate seamless packet forwarding for ensuring the quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE) of real-time video streaming services. To address this problem, this paper proposes a video packet distribution scheme named Clone, which integrates vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communications to disseminate video packets for video streaming services in VANETs. First, an indicator called current network quality information (CNQI) is defined to measure the feature of data forwarding of each node to its neighbor nodes in terms of data delivery ratio and delay. Based on the CNQI value of each node and the trajectory of the destination vehicle, access points called clones are selected to cache video data packets from data sources. Subsequently, packet distribution optimization is conducted to determine the number of video packets to cache in each clone. Finally, data delivery synchronization is established to support seamless streaming data delivery from a clone to the destination vehicle. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme achieves high-quality video streaming services in terms of QoS and QoE compared with existing schemes.

Deep learning-based video quality enhancement for the new versatile video coding.

Multimedia IoT (M-IoT) is an emerging type of Internet of things (IoT) relaying multimedia data (images, videos, audio and speech, etc.). The rapid growth of M-IoT devices enables the creation of a massive volume of multimedia data with different characteristics and requirements. With the development of artificial intelligence (AI), AI-based multimedia IoT systems have been recently designed and deployed for various video-based services for contemporary daily life, like video surveillance with high definition (HD) and ultra-high definition (UHD) and mobile multimedia streaming. These new services need higher video quality in order to meet the quality of experience (QoE) required by the users. Versatile video coding (VVC) is the new video coding standard that achieves significant coding efficiency over its predecessor high-efficiency video coding (HEVC). Moreover, VVC can achieve up to 30% BD rate savings compared to HEVC. Inspired by the rapid advancements in deep learning, we propose in this paper a wide-activated squeeze-and-excitation deep convolutional neural network (WSE-DCNN) technique-based video quality enhancement for VVC. Therefore, we replace the conventional in-loop filtering in VVC by the proposed WSE-DCNN model that eliminates the compression artifacts in order to improve visual quality and hence increase the end user QoE. The obtained results prove that the proposed in-loop filtering technique achieves -2.85%, -8.89%, and -10.05% BD rate reduction for luma and both chroma components under random access configuration. Compared to the traditional CNN-based filtering approaches, the proposed WSE-DCNN-based in-loop filtering framework achieves efficient performance in terms of RD cost.

Android-based Mobile Multimedia Application Development Training

<p align="center">Covid-19 demands the use of technology as an online learning media tool. The technology that becomes a low-cost developer is the Android Technology operating system. The main target of this community service activity is the 3rd & 5th semester Computer System Study Program students at the Faculty of Science and Technology at the Panca Budi Development University in using Android technology, where learning about Android has been carried out but not maximized in building a Mobile Application. The method used is to provide training and demonstrations in making Multimedia Applications using Android Studio with online media support in the form of Zoom, YouTube, and Google Drive links. The results of the feedback response to material questions submitted by the resource person were 67% very good, participant responses to the material presented were 41% good, the relationship between material and participant needs was 59% very good, the relationship between material and applications that could be absorbed by participants was 54% very good, the linkage of the material with needs is 42% good, the presentation technique of the presenter is 56% very good, the time spent by the presenter is 44% giving a good response, the clarity of the material is 59% clear, the interest of the participants is 47% good, and overall satisfaction level of 51% gave a satisfied response to the training activities.</p>

Interactive Mobile Multimedia Application Usage to Improve Fractional Algebra Thinking among Students with Learning Disabilities

Penggunaan aplikasi mobile multimedia dalam pendidikan kini mendapat perhatian semua pihak dan menghasilkan interaksi hubungan murid dan guru. Penggunaan aplikasi mudah alih dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran dipercayai dapat menyelesaikan banyak masalah yang melibatkan matematik dan mengubah persepsi murid terhadap pemahaman algebra pecahan yang dianggap rumit dan membosankan. Kesukaran ini lebih terkesan kepada murid yang mempunyai masalah pembelajaran berbanding dengan murid biasa. Rasional kajian untuk meneroka penggunaan aplikasi mobile multimedia interaktif berasaskan permainan (P-PKSSMPK) sebagai alat bantu pengajaran untuk meningkatkan kemahiran pemikiran algebra pecahan dan pencapaian murid masalah pembelajaran dalam topik pecahan. Aplikasi mobile P-KSSMPK digunakan sebagai bahan bantu pengajaran bagi memudahkan murid memahami kemahiran pembelajaran pecahan. Penyelidikan ini melibatkan penguasaan kemahiran pemikiran algebra pecahan dan pemahaman dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran topik pecahan bagi murid masalah pembelajaran. Objektif kajian yang pertama ialah merekabentuk dan membangunkan aplikasi mobile multimedia interaktif dengan menggunakan model Prototaip Pantas (menilai, menentukan objektif, mereka bentuk dan membangunkan prototaip, pelaksanaan prototaip, penilaian dan pemurnian). Objektif kajian kedua pula, mengkaji kesan aplikasi mobile P-KSSMPK melalui sembilan adengan pengajaran dalam membantu meningkatkan pemahaman dan penguasaan kemahiran pemikiran algebra pecahan bagi murid masalah pembelajaran. Reka bentuk kuasi-eksperimen digunakan ke atas kumpulan kawalan dan kumpulan rawatan di mana setiap responden diberi ujian pra, rawatan, dan ujian pasca. Kajian ini melibatkan 152 orang murid masalah pembelajaran dari sepuluh sekolah berbeza di daerah kinta utara di Perak. Dapatan kajian akhir mendapati bahawa pembelajaran menerusi aplikasi mobile P-KSSMPK berjaya mempertingkatkan tahap penguasaan kemahiran dan pemahaman pecahan. Min keputusan pencapaian ujian pra adalah 44.59 (sisihan piawai: 4.233) bagi kumpulan rawatan manakala min purata bagi ujian pasca meningkat sebanyak 65.88 (sisihan piawai: 21.520) bagi kumpulan rawatan. Justeru, kajian terhadap pembelajaran topik pecahan perlu diteruskan dengan melibatkan sampel kajian yang lebih besar supaya penglibatan murid dalam aktiviti pembelajaran pecahan dapat dipertingkatkan.

Collaborative Problem-Solving Based on Mobile Multimedia

The development of mobile technology has an important role to play in achieving 21st-century skills. Collaborative skills and problem-solving are seen as fundamental skills for achieving 21st-century skills as a whole. This study aims to develop collaborative problem-solving based on mobile multimedia (CPMM) to achieve student collaborative and problem-solving skills. Multimedia development life cycle (MDLC) is used as a research method to develop CPMM. The CPMM was developed by involving 100 students at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya, Indonesia. The CPMM development result consisted of three main features. The first feature was the homepage which was used to show student profiles and progress in the course. The second feature was collaborative to become a forum for students to discuss and interact in multi-way mobile ways to solve problems. The third feature was evaluation as tasks from a lecturer to individual students to solve problems. In addition, the study results showed that CPMM was valid and effective for improving students' collaborative and problem-solving skills. This study recommends that CPMM can be used as an essential study and the basis for lecturers and practitioners to develop 21st-century student skills as a whole (not only collaborative and problem-solving skills) to produce graduates who are ready to face the revolutionary era 4.0.

Reflection of the Accession Process of Turkey to European Union on Doctoral Theses Written About Foreign Language Education in Turkey 1987-2017

The European Union is the most important political and social integration of the 20th century. EU member countries have worked to develop common policies not only in the field of economy, but also in social, cultural, political and educational fields. In the European Union member countries, foreign language teaching is one of the most important topics in the field of education. European Union accepted Turkey as a candidate country in the enlargement process. With Turkey’s full EU membership process which started in 2005, importance of foreign language education increased in all educational institutions in Turkey. Ministry of National Education and Universities have carried out and implemented studies on pre-school language education, curriculum, language teaching methods, and foreign language teacher education within the scope of language education. Undoubtedly, academic studies on foreign language teaching play an active role for a successful language education. In this study, how Turkey's EU membership process is reflected in the doctoral theses on foreign language education published in 1987-2017 and how the research topics in doctoral theses changed with the start of the membership process were investigated. Document analysis technique was used in the research. Since the universe was used as a sample in the study, it is a study of complete inventory. 58 doctoral theses were examined. They were analyzed in terms of titles. Practical and concrete proposals related to foreign language teaching in Turkey were presented in accordance with the results obtained in the light of findings of the research. The study shows that with the effect of the Turkey’s accession process to European Union full membership, research topics in doctoral dissertations have changed and focal points in PhD theses were determined as foreign language teaching, Creative writing skills, Creative thinking skills, Understanding By Design, Mobile Multimedia Support,Web based Foreign Language Teaching,Detailing Theory, Intercultural Communication.

Analysis of Short Video Production and Dissemination from the Perspective of Mobile Multimedia

The expansion of the new media platform has further stimulated the diversified development of content production, with various media permeating each other and products merging with each other, thus broadening the depth of media. With the rapid popularization of the Internet and the wide application of social software, the social environment has become more free and efficient. People use mobile multimedia to realize free communication from space, express their right to speak effectively, and change the way people get information. With the continuous development of network economy, all kinds of short videos have gradually appeared in modern people’s life, adding fun to the people’s lifestyle and enriching the forms of people’s life and entertainment. Only by exploring the construction of short video communication mode can we better reveal the real veil of how short video is popular in the new media era. This paper starts with the phenomenon of mobile short video transmission, studies and analyzes the problems of mobile short video platform, and explores the coping strategies for its development.

FORMATION OF THE PUBLIC LIBRARY MODEL IN THE CONDITIONS OF UNITED TERRITORIAL COMMUNITIES OF THE SOUTH OF UKRAINE

Purpose of the article. The analysis of the specificities of formation of the public library model in the conditions of creation of the united territorial communities (UTC) of the South of Ukraine. The methodology of the research is based on the complex of general methods (analysis, synthesis, generalization, and modeling) and approaches (system, socio-communicative, modernization). The scientific novelty of the work is to conducta comprehensive study of the possibility of choosing libraries of Odesa, Kherson, and Mykolayiv a certain profile and their own path of development in the formation of UTC as centers of legal and regional information in the form of centers of public initiatives, socio-communication platforms, multimedia mobile libraries or multicultural centers. Conclusions. Suggestions that are based on the comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed models of reforming the library network are made regarding the development of the optimal model of functioning of public libraries in the South of Ukraine, which provides for the following important elements. Firstly, automation, that is based on the development and implementation of the newest information technologies, which, in turn, activates the material and technical base modernization, organization structure, and the library staff training; providing new services or products. Secondly, renovating the activity and staff management methods. Thirdly, providing stable financing to UTC possibilities, applying marketing and advertising technologies of library activity popularization according to the UTC functioning. Next, saving the valuable stuff resource and technologies in library staff’ work. Then, organizing the UTC public library work as the informative intelligent center, cultural and leisure space, that is discovered on the Chornomorska library example. Finally, the introduction of non-stationary library services on the basis of the Law of Ukraine«On territorial communities’ cooperation». Analysis on the Dynamic Control Strategy of College Students' Thinking Based on the Background of Mobile Multimedia

In order to help the school master the ideological state of college students in time and carry out the ideological and political education of college students, this paper proposes a dynamic evaluation model of College Students' ideology based on network media and data mining. By capturing the content of College Students' microblog, combining with emotion analysis, feature word extraction and natural language processing technology, using data mining methods such as clustering, topic detection and association analysis, this paper constructs the relationship between College Students' ideological trends and microblog content. In this paper, crawlers are used to capture the official microblog content and comments, extract and analyze keywords, and grasp the ideological trends in time through word cloud display and K-means clustering analysis, so as to obtain the hot topics they are concerned about for a period of time. It is of great significance to provide targeted methods and strategies for college students' Ideological and political education and help them establish correct values and ideas.

Multi-Community Influence Maximization in Device-to-Device social networks

In recent years, we have witnessed the rapid development of mobile multimedia services integrated with social networks. Therefore, Influence Maximization (IM) problem in social networks has become a widely studied topic, which aims to identify a small set of users (seed users) to cover as many users as possible through information propagation. Although most researches focus on online occasions or one single community, a few studies have been done for face-to-face (Device-to-Device, D2D) propagation occasions across multiple communities. General influence maximization in one community aims to find out k seed users under the given budget k, while in this paper, we concentrate on Multi-Community Influence Maximization (MCIM) problem to maximize influence (i.e., propagation coverage) by identifying seed users in multiple social communities of different properties and characteristics based on a total budget of seed users. We transform this problem into two subproblems, including Single Community Influence Maximization (SCIM) and Multi-Community Budget Allocation (MCBA). Respectively, we propose Weighted LeaderRank with Neighbors (WLRN) to rank users in a single community and design a method named Optimal Budget Allocation (OBA) to allocate budget (total quota of seed users) to multiple communities. The experiments based on a realistic D2D data set and an online social network show our method improves the propagation coverage significantly than general algorithms.

Flat Research on the Design and Application of Icon Design in Mobile Phone UI Interface

Flat icon design has been widely applied in web pages and mobile phone UI interface, and has been widely praised for its simplicity, clear color, and directness of information. With the rapid development of Internet e-commerce, according to the survey report of China Internet Network Information Center CNNIC (the 45th), until March 2020, the scale of China's mobile phone netizens has reached 897 million. Mobile phone has become an indispensable part of People's Daily life. It not only provides convenience for people's life and shopping, but also becomes a platform for people's work, study and education. The development of multimedia mobile phones has promoted the flat icon design to flourish. Through analysis and research in this paper, it is concluded that the UI interface flat icon has distinct visual characteristics: concise graphic design elements, strong visual impact color design, distinct order, and so on. According to the visual performance characteristics of the flat icon, a large number of cases are analyzed to obtain the style classification and specific design method of the flat icon design. Therefore, this paper hopes to provide references for relevant designers by analyzing and studying the features of flat icon and design method.
