Green finance and food production: Evidence from cities in China

In the domain of global socio-economic dynamics, the pivotal role of food production (FP) cannot be overstated. It constitutes the bedrock of fundamental human necessities while being inexorably linked with critical aspects such as economic expansion, societal equilibrium, and geopolitical interplays. The multifaceted nature of FP appears through its direct impact on macroeconomic indicators and its latent influence on international relations and policy-making. This critical nexus underscores the imperative for a comprehensive understanding and strategic management of food production processes to sustain and enhance global socio-economic stability and growth. Investigating the nexus between green finance (GF) and FP is pivotal for ensuring national security and promoting sustainable economic development. This research thus paper examines GF's impact on FP in China as outlined in the 2017 green finance policies. It employs the difference-in-differences (DID) method and analyzes a balanced panel dataset comprising 282 cities in China from 2009 to 2020. The results show that GF has an inhibitory effect on FP, and this remains valid after a range of reliability checks, including parallel trend assessments and placebo tests. Further findings of transmission mechanism analysis indicate that non-agricultural factors and financial exclusion are critical for GF's inhibitory effect on FP. Heterogeneity analyses show that GF's inhibitory effect on FP is more pronounced in the main food-producing areas, the main food-marketing areas, and cities with better infrastructure. The empirical results of this paper comprehensively illustrate GF's impact on FP and how it contributes to the achievement of food security objectives.

Automation of production and economic activities at printing enterprises involves the use of advanced digital solutions or technological equipment with automatic configuration and process control functions. The key benefits of automation include speeding up order processing, increasing the accuracy of calculations, optimizing the utilization of process equipment, reducing operating costs, and increasing the efficiency of planning and managing production processes. Digital solutions enable monitoring of financial and operational flows, leading to increased productivity and profitability. The object of this research is production management systems, automated information systems, as well as methods and technologies used to optimize work processes at the stages of production of printed products. The purpose of the study is to summarize the theoretical foundations for improving the efficiency of production and economic activities in printing enterprises by using automation capabilities. Research methods: analysis of literature and scientific sources on existing theories and practices of automation in printing, graphic method, deduction and induction, systematization. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the generalization of modern approaches to automation of production, technological, economic and managerial aspects of the activities of printing enterprises, as well as in a brief overview of currently proposed digital solutions in this area.

Integration Waterfall and Scrum Methodology in The Development of SIMARGA Web Application

This research explores the integration of Waterfall and Scrum methodologies in the development of the SIMARGA web application. The integration aims to maximize the strengths of each methodology, with Waterfall contributing to planning, analysis, and initial system structure, while Scrum supports the creation of Product Backlog and implementation of Scrum events. The combination results in a structured and methodical product management process, simplifying task lists and enhancing efficiency. The achievement of good efficiency and effectiveness in task execution is facilitated by leveraging both methodologies, reducing wastage. Progress in product development and team productivity is measured through daily meetings, evaluations, and sprint reviews. Emphasis is placed on fostering strong relationships among the Scrum team, customers, and stakeholders, promoting effective communication and collaboration. However, challenges are identified in team commitment to daily meetings, potentially influenced by their involvement in additional business activities. Future efforts should focus on technological resource enhancement and software maintenance to achieve the initially outlined product goals. The effectiveness of this product development initiative can be measured using metrics such as views and user data, particularly in the Kabupaten Pegunungan Bintang.

Digitalization as a determinant of transformation of the real sector of the economy of the macroregion (using the example of the North Caucasus Federal District)

Purpose: is to study of the processes of digitalization and digital transformation of the real sector of the economy of the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. Methods: the methodological basis of the study was the concept of the digital economy, the theoretical principles of supply-side economics, the systems approach, trend analysis and predictive analytics. The study is based on the use of the methods of economic and statistical analysis, scientifi c abstraction, analogies and scientifi c generalizations. The methods used are characterized by validity and show a high degree of eff ectiveness. Results: digitalization and digital transformation processes are underway in the North Caucasus Federal District, but the pace remains low. To accelerate these processes, it is necessary to solve two interrelated problems: fi rstly, to materialize the processes of digitalization and digital transformation in the real sector of the economy of the regions of the federal district, and secondly, to train personnel in certain specialties who can eff ectively operate digital technologies. In the fi rst case, it is possible to use the model of catch-up development at the regional level, which will make it possible to implement the principle of “advantage of backwardness” and use the accumulated global and regional experience in the transition to the modern trends in the operation of digital technologies. In the second case, it is proposed to organize special centers in the subjects of the district for retraining digital technologies specialists with the necessary competencies and/or advanced training with the issuance of the confi rming certifi cates. Such centers could train exclusive specialists at the request of enterprises or engage in refresher training and retraining of the necessary specialists. The creation of the centers is possible on the basis of public-private partnership. Conclusions and Relevance: the main task of the digital transformation of industry is considered to be the modernization of production process management, which will lead to the signifi cant increase in labor productivity. To implement such a scenario, the economic entities in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District need to move away from the traditionalist approaches that take place in the organization and management of enterprises, and switch to the processes of digitalization and digital transformation of the real sector of the economy of the district.

A Study on Enhancing Sustainability in Circular Supply Chains through Green Innovations

Redefining product and service lifecycles with eco-friendly and sustainable processes, circular supply chains are green breakthroughs. Minimising waste, environmental effect, and resource efficiency are its goals. In a circular supply chain, green innovations can include product design that facilitates recycling or reuse, process improvements that reduce energy consumption and emissions, logistics solutions that optimise transportation for lower carbon footprints, and service innovations that promote sustainability. These green ideas improve supply chain efficiency and competitiveness while helping the environment. Businesses may reconcile economic growth and environmental stewardship by rethinking and rebuilding linear supply models into circular and sustainable ones, paving the way for a more sustainable future. This study examines how green innovations affect circular supply chains in Andhra Pradesh's durable goods industry. It analyses how product, process, logistical, and service green innovation improves supply chain efficiency. The quantitative research uses structured surveys to obtain data from 150 industry professionals and customers. Convenience sampling was used to acquire varied supply chain performance metrics responses. SPSS is used for rigorous regression analysis in the study. This method lets you study how green innovation affects circular supply chain performance. All green innovations improve supply chain efficiency, but green service innovation has the greatest benefit. This research provides strong evidence for green innovations in durable goods industry circular supply networks. The study emphasises ecologically friendly product creation, logistics, service delivery, and process management.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOWING SYSTEM OF THE SOWING COMPLEX FORINTERNAL-SOIL DIFFERENTIATED MINERAL FERTILIZER WITH SIMULTANEOUS SOWING OF CEREAL

The issue of increasing the effectiveness of post-sowing intra-soil differentiated application of the main and starting dose of granular mineral fertilizers in the system of precision agriculture is considered. The need to use differential application of granular mineral fertilizer and machines that ensure high-quality performance of this technological process, taking into account the heterogeneity of the content of nutrients in the soil in certain areas of the field, is indicated. It is also indicated the need to develop and introduce into production highly accurate automated information technologies based on the use of high-performance means of mechanization. The indicated shortcomings of modern seeding machines: lack of adaptability for simultaneous differentiated introduction of the main and starting dose, as a result of which they lack highly adapted dispensers, appropriate control and management systems. The construction and technological scheme of the seeding complex is proposed and the pneumatic seeding system of this unit is developed for post-sowing intra-soil differentiated application of the main and starting dose of granular mineral fertilizers in the precision farming system. The proposed seeding complex will make it possible to eliminate the excessive application of mineral fertilizers, which can cause an increase in the activation of microbiological processes in the soil and have negative ecological consequences, leading to the deterioration of the physic-chemical and biological properties of the soil. The use of resource-saving technologies of precision agriculture in the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine will allow to ensure the management of production processes at the expense of information technologies, robotic and automated systems, which will allow to bring domestic agricultural enterprises to a new level.

IoT-Based Barcode Scanning System for Production and Warehouse Management

This project aims to develop an IoT-based barcode scanning system using an ESP32 microcontroller and a GM-65 barcode reader for efficient production and warehouse management. The system facilitates automated and accurate barcode scanning, with the collected data transmitted to a web-based platform in real-time. The web interface provides users with comprehensive insights into production quantities and warehouse status, generating a detailed journal for traceability and accountability. This innovative solution offers businesses a streamlined approach to monitor and record production activities, ultimately optimizing the overall efficiency of production and warehouse management processes.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL RELIABILITY ASSESSMENT MODEL OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT EXECUTORS

The article defines the features of the development of software products for the needs of modernization of construction organization processes. The theory of entropy processes in organizational functional systems received further development, on the basis of which information flows in hierarchical systems were investigated. As a result, a model for assessing the functional-technological reliability of construction project executors in the information space of the SADT methodology (English structured analysis and design technique) - structural analysis and design as a set of methods, rules and procedures intended for building a functional model of the object of the subject area of research is proposed . The reliability of the organizational system is determined by the probability that at an arbitrary moment in time the values of the controlled parameters do not exceed the limits of permissible deviations. The work established a functional relationship between organizational and technological reliability (OTR), the required level of reliability of achieving the final result and the intensity of failures in the system and, accordingly, the regime of managerial influences. This makes it possible to quantify the parameters of the production process management, which ensure the reliability of the final result is higher than the initial OTR. Approaches to the development of a graph-analytical model of the development of a construction project as an information base for the development of alternative solutions are substantiated. A system of coefficients is proposed, with the help of which, on the basis of a graph-analytical model, the possibilities of achieving previously set goals and the range of necessary changes in controlled parameters are determined. In order to maintain the construction project management system within the limits of the given reliability, the mode of control over the real progress of the process is formally calculated. The theory of organizational and technological reliability has been developed in the field of development of methodical approaches for forecasting the dynamics of the inconsistency of parametric control indicators in the case of complex organizational and technological interrelationship of works. The influence of reliability parameters on the choice of operational and perspective management mode is substantiated, which will further allow to develop a model for assessing the organizational and management feasibility of the construction work program based on the rationalization of the system and management modes.

Development of Mobile QR Warehouse Management Apllication Based on Flutter and Firebase

Since the Covid-19 pandemic took place, the number of MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) has increased. Running a good business requires good product management to minimize losses that occur due to errors in product management. This research aims to increase the efficiency of the product management process with the QR Scanner feature which can make things easier for MSME owners. This research was designed through various needs gathering steps which included literature studies, surveys and competitor analysis. The results of the research are an Android and iOS based mobile application called QRHouse. The testing methods used include User Acceptance Test, User Interface Survey, UI Evaluation with 8 Golden Rules, UX Evaluation with 5 Measurable Human Factors. The results of the research were achieved when the application developed succeeded in increasing efficiency in product stock management

Application of Mass Service Theory to Economic Systems Optimization Problems—A Review

An interdisciplinary approach to management allows for the integration of knowledge and tools of different fields of science into a unified methodology in order to improve the efficiency of resource management of different kinds of systems. In the conditions of global transformations, it is economic systems that have been significantly affected by external destabilizing factors. This determines the focus of attention on the need to develop tools for the modeling and optimization of economic systems, both in terms of organizational structure and in the context of resource management. The purpose of this review study is to identify the current gaps (shortcomings) in the scientific literature devoted to the issues of the modeling and optimization of economic systems using the tools of mass service theory. This article presents a critical analysis of approaches for the formulation of provisions on mass service systems in the context of resource management. On the one hand, modern works are characterized by the inclusion of an extensive number of random factors that determine the performance and efficiency of economic systems: the probability of delays and interruptions in mobile networks; the integration of order, inventory, and production management processes; the cost estimation of multi-server system operation; and randomness factors, customer activity, and resource constraints, among others. On the other hand, controversial points are identified. The analytical study carried out allows us to state that the prevailing majority of mass service models applied in relation to economic systems and resource supply optimization are devoted to Markov chain modeling. In terms of the chronology of the problems studied, there is a marked transition from modeling simple systems to complex mass service networks. In addition, we conclude that the complex architecture of modern economic systems opens up a wide research field for finding a methodology for assessing the dependence of the enterprise performance on the effect of optimization provided by using the provisions of mass service theory. This statement can be the basis for future research.

Strategi Disabisa Dalam Manajemen Produksi Program Pembelajaran Bagi Calon Content Creator Tunarungu

This research is entitled “DisaBisa’s Strategy in Production Management of Learning Program fot Prospective Deaf Content Creators (Qualitative Descriptive Study of DisaBisa’s Strategy in Production Management of Learning Programs for Prospective Deaf Content Creators)” with Dra. Hj. Kismiyati El Karimah M.Si., as the main lecturer, and Dr. Ilham Gemiharto S.Sos., M.Si., as the companion lecturer. This research aims to find out the strategy carried out by DisaBisa in managing the production of learning programs for potential deaf content creators, how the DisaBisa website was established, who are the parties involved in it, what is the production process that the DisaBisa team goes through in presenting learning programs on the website, along with its constraints. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach, and uses data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, observation, documentation and literature study. The informants for this research are the managers of DisaBisa. Using the Miles & Hubberman analysis technique. The research results show the history of the founding of the DisaBisa website which began with a grant program from the Higher Education. The parties involved include the lecturer team, student team and external parties whose role is to build the website. The production process that the DisaBisa team goes through is divided into the process of creating learning content "Training to be a Content Creator for the Deaf" as well as the process of building and developing the DisaBisa website. During this process, several obstacles were also encountered in terms of time, management's insight into the field of disability, and budget. Through this research, it is hoped that it will be able to produce an overview of the production management process in learning programs for people with disabilities, especially the deaf.

The theoretical principles of operational management of production processes in agricultural organizations are revealed in the article. The need to modernize the operational management of agricultural production processes is determined not only by the rapid growth of scientific and technical progress, but also by the need to increase the volume of production of agricultural raw materials and products to saturate the domestic agro-food market with them and expand exports. Operational management plays an extremely important role in the process of agricultural production. The essence of operational management of agricultural organizations is considered. Emphasis is placed on the functions of operational management (marketing, planning, organization, rationing, coordination, motivation, control). The impact of these functions on production processes is outlined. Operational management actually acts as a part of the general management system of the enterprise, aimed at the implementation of a set of assigned tasks, which are directly related to the control, accounting and implementation of works in relation to the planned indicators. The purpose of operational management of production processes is to constantly support the stable functioning of the production system in order to fully achieve the planned goals. In modern conditions, only an effective production process management system can ensure the successful functioning of an agricultural organization, which allows you to correctly respond to any changes in the external and internal environment and adjust your activities accordingly. The main elements of operational management of production processes in agricultural organizations are disclosed: formation and implementation of operational goals, organization of planning, organization of accounting, organization of control, organization of regulation, organization of analysis. Operational management of production processes is based on the interaction of all divisions and services of the agricultural organizations, its effectiveness is evaluated by the achieved production and economic results in comparison with costs.

Statement of the problem (relevance of the work): the article outlines the main advantages of using the network to improve the quality of the production processes of engineering products, which is especially important in the context of the formation of technological sovereignty. The purpose of the work: the purpose of the article is to systematize and analyze the models of product quality management in the engineering industry and develop, on their basis, an intersectoral model of a quality management system in a network. Methods used: the article uses general scientific methods of cognition, namely, the method of description, generalization, critical analysis, visualization. As a theoretical basis for the study, theories of process and network management in the industrial complex are used. Novelty: generalization and systematization of theoretical approaches to quality management in mechanical engineering made it possible to design an intersectoral model of a quality management system in a network, the use of which will make it possible to create and strengthen technological sovereignty. Result: as a result of a study on the analysis of quality management models of the production process, their distinctive characteristics are determined in relation to the network, the core of which is a machine-building enterprise, which made it possible to develop an intersectoral model of a quality management system, the use of which allows obtaining such network effects as the achievement of integrated production support at all stages of the life cycle; reducing transaction costs, increasing the flexibility of the design and production of new science-intensive and high-tech products, which makes it possible to increase the level of technological sovereignty of the industry by strengthening cooperation ties. Practical significance: the conclusions and results contained in the article can be used in the development of strategies for the formation and strengthening of technological sovereignty both in the machine-building industry and in the industrial complex as a whole.

The article examines the problems and relevance of digital transformation in the industrial sector of the Russian Federation. It is noted that this process represents a multifaceted and complex transition from traditional production methods to the integration of advanced technologies aimed at increasing the efficiency, flexibility and competitiveness of enterprises. The focus is on reimagining production process management to achieve significant improvements in productivity. The importance of the successful implementation of the “Digital Passport” for industrial enterprises and the promotion of the concept of “digital maturity” is emphasized. The latter provides frameworks and key indicators aimed at achieving specific results in the context of the development of industrial enterprises. The article substantiates the system for assessing digital maturity, providing a detailed overview of projects related to the integration of enterprise accounting systems with GISP (State Industrial Information System). The emphasis is on the undeniable significance of modern trends in the digital transformation of industrial enterprises.

Determination of Thermotolerant Yeast Population in Dairy Products

Thermotolerant yeasts constitute a critical indicator for the effective management of product quality, food safety, and production processes in the dairy industry. This study aims to investigate the presence of thermotolerant yeasts in diverse dairy products within the context of Turkiye. In this study, pH and thermotolerant yeast properties of Turkish white cheese, butter, cream (Kaymak), and Tulum cheese were investigated. Thermotolerant yeast counts in butter samples ranged between 4.30 and 4.82 log CFU/g, with pH values ranging from 4.91 to 6.68. Thermotolerant yeast counts of Tulum cheese, white cheese and cream samples were <2 log CFU/g. The pH values of cream and Tulum cheese were ranged from pH 5.07-6.79 and pH 4.91-6.68, respectively. The mean pH value for white cheeses was 4.98. As a results, thermotolerant yeast counts of Tulum cheese, white cheese and cream samples were below the detectable value; however, a high number of thermotolerant yeasts were determined in butter samples. In conclusions, these findings offer valuable insights for evaluating the microbiological quality of different dairy products, aiding producers in enhancing safety and quality for consumers.

MANAGING THE PRODUCTION PROCESSES - OPTIMIZATION OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESS OF BANANA RIPENING BY APPLYING THE SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING METHOD

The realization of company goals is greatly influenced by the manager’s decisions in the activities of managing production processes. To make decisions, managers use different decision-making methods, taking into account different criteria on the basis of which they choose the best alternative. The paper presents the optimization of the technological process of banana ripening using the simple additive weighting (SAW) method. The research monitored temperature correction, ripening gas dosage concentration, duration of treatment, commodity loss, including correction of accompanying factors of green banana fruit ripening. By applying the SAW method on 400 performed ripenings in the period from 2017 to 2020, the best results were achieved at a temperature of 18.5 °C, with an ethylene concentration of 840 ppm, process time of 112 h and achieved kalo of 233 kg. The total cost of ripening based on the examined parameters is 250.12 € which can save 81.42 € and meet the finishing standards.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY AND INDUSTRY 4.0 INTO INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING COURSES

Objective: This article presents a theoretical study of how the concepts of the Circular Economy (CE) and Industry 4.0 (i4.0) can be incorporated and introduced into industrial engineering courses and how they can help the implementation of circular economy business models. Design/methodology/approach: A theoretical analysis was conducted on a set of articles identified through a search based on the combination of keywords 'circular economy,' 'CE,' 'industrial engineering,' 'industrial engineer,' 'i4.0,' and 'Industry 4.0.' Two databases, Scopus and Web of Science, were consulted initially. A total of 29 articles were selected and utilized for the subsequent analysis. Following a comprehensive review of these 29 articles, we sought to determine how the concepts of the circular economy and i4.0 can be integrated into industrial engineering courses and their potential contributions to the implementation of circular economy business models. Results: The paper provides an overview of how the concepts of the CE and i4.0 can be incorporated into the curriculum of undergraduate industrial engineering courses, utilizing an interdisciplinary and cross-cutting approach. Furthermore, it was possible to verify that there is a strong and feasible relationship between the concepts of the circular economy and Industry 4.0. For the effective implementation of these concepts, there is a necessity to train professionals and the use of digital technologies in favor of the circular economy. Originality/value: The paper brings as contribution, the discussion about the importance of incorporating the concept of circular economy and i4.0 into the courses of future engineers, who work mainly in the management of production processes and management of resources. This is a theoretical study, not an empirical one, and perhaps this is the main limitation of the research. However, despite being theoretical, it brings as a practical contribution an important discussion about the need to train professionals, even in their undergraduate training, and the use of digital technologies in favor of the circular economy.

Penerapan Alat Sentrifugasi Dilengkapi Penyaring Sebagai Peningkatan Umur Simpan VCO di KWT Nira Lestari

Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Nira Lestari is a micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) engaged in coconut processing, including Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). VCO products produced by partners have low quality and quickly smell rancid. These problems are caused by the manual production process which causes a long production time, the inclusion of water that causes hydrolysis and the high volatile compounds in VCO. The purpose of this program is to design a centrifugation device and vacuum pump filter to increase the efficiency of partner production and eliminate rancid odor in the VCO produced. The method used in this service is a survey of partner needs, tool design, tool making, tool testing, tool application and product testing. The application of the two tools has been proven to help streamline partner production and eliminate rancidity. Laboratory test results of VCO after the use of the tool show that VCO has a moisture content of 0.0829% and a germ content of 0%.

Research on the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market

The rapid development and application of artificial intelligence technology has brought new power to the social development, optimized the production link and management process, and improved the productivity level of manufacturing enterprises. At the same time, it has also triggered concerns in the job market about the "machine replacement". Literature analysis shows that AI applications will not bring about the "leisure era" described by Keynes, and that AI will change the labor market by replacing old jobs with new jobs, leading to the fear of unemployment and the need to learn new skills. Therefore, we should correctly understand the substitution effect of AI, seize the opportunity of talent training brought by AI, and reasonably grasp the application scope and degree of AI for enterprises in different regions and sizes.
