For those who understand Arabic, of course it will be easier to memorize the verse because the context of the sentence is clearer, in the verse above there are third person pronouns or more.
 In the Qur'an there are also verses that explain the stories of prophets such as Prophet Adam As, Prophet Yusuf As, Prophet Ibrahim As, etc.
 Starting from my own experience, there are many tahfidz students who ask about a quick or easy way to memorize the Qur'an and in my opinion one of the quick or easy ways to memorize the Koran is to understand Arabic.
 This study uses a quantitative approach, whose analysis emphasizes numerical data (numbers) processed with statistics, while its nature is correlation.
 The results of this study show that there is a correlation between the ability to read Arabic and the achievement of the target of memorizing the Koran for students at Kebun Baru Islamic Boarding School, Academic Year 2020/2021 referring to the results of “r” product moment table = 0.986 greater than “r” good work with a critical price of "r" 1% is 0.388 or 5% is 0.4906.
 While the magnitude of the correlation between the ability to read Arabic and the target achievement of memorizing the Qur'an PP. Miftahul Ulum Kebun Baru After consulting with the product moment interpretation table, it is in the high interpretation category.

Problematic Implementation of High Order Thinking and Innovative Instructional Design in Teaching Language: A Study from Inservice Training for English Teachers

The in-service training delivered in Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) aims at increasing teacher’s knowledge and skills in teaching English. Language Teaching is dependent on philosophical assumption on the nature of language and language learning. Language teaching is terminated at using language skillfully in various communicative events. The in-service training is based on a general theory that is implemented through the application of high order thinking (HOT), the innovative instructional design, namely: Problem Based Learning (PBL), and Project Based Learning (PjBL). This study intended to find out the application of HOT, PBL and PJBL. The data of this study were taken from lesson plans (RPP) and its implementation in classroom interaction. The data were analyzed by using the related theory as temporary category of identification, classification and interpretation. The results show that (1) the teachers are constrained by the use of operational verbs of HOT in formulating its indicators in KD 3 (knowledge competence), and in KD4 (skills) which resulted in the improper way of teaching English, (2) the teachers are compelled by the syntax of PBL and PjBL into improper steps of teaching English, (3) the teachers unconsciously made technology as media as the objective rather than as facilitation to language learning and consequently it turned the teaching of English into teaching about language, like teaching content knowledge such as Biology, Physics, etc, rather than enabling the students to use English communicatively. These findings lead to the conclusion that the teaching of English should be mainly based on the theory of language and the theory of language learning. Other theories imported from other disciplines or from educational psychology should be adapted to the theory of language and language learning. Exploring physical literacy in children aged 8 to 12 years old: a cross-cultural comparison between China and Greece

BackgroundThe concept of physical literacy (PL) has been advocated as a crucial determinant for increasing the quality and quantity of movement and physical activity (PA). Children’s PL has been rarely compared across countries, although it has shown low levels in many countries. This study aimed to explore and compare children’s PL from China and Greece.MethodsA total of 327 Chinese (47.1% boys) and 295 Greek children (48.1% boys) aged 8 to 12 years participated in this study. Children’s PL was objectively assessed by the Chinese and Greek version of the Canadian Assessment of Physical Literacy, 2nd edition, which consists of four domains: Daily Behavior, Physical Competence, Motivation and Confidence, and Knowledge.and Understanding. Univariate analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) and multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) on total PL and domain scores were conducted in both countries, respectively.ResultsMANOVA revealed significant differences in total PL and distribution scores between two countries (Pillais’ trace = 0.260, F = 53.855, p < 0.001, η2 = 0.260), with Greek children scoring better than Chinese. Nevertheless, most children failed to present an adequate PL level as they were mostly in the “progressing” stage. The chi-square denoted that the distribution of Chinese and Greek participants across the CAPL-2 interpretive categories was statistically different for total PL (χ2 [3] = 18.726, p < 0.001, Cramer’s V = 0.174), with more Greek children being classified as “achieving” and “excelling”.ConclusionsThe variance between Chinese and Greek children may be attributed to cultural differences in the context of PA, such as PE policies and settings. The relatively low level of PL shown in both countries echoes the global trend of the declining PA among children, with an increasing amount of their time spent in a sedentary lifestyle. These findings highlight the need to consider children’s cultural factors and pedagogical strategies in terms of developing their PL. Future research is required to explore the impact of cultural background on PL development among children and appropriate strategies to migrate their influence.

Development of Interactive Organic Chemistry E-Module Using Macromedia Flash Improves Concept Mastery

This study was examining to produce e-modules as teaching materials in interactive organic chemistry courses using macromedia flash through the development process and determine the effect of interactive organic chemistry e-modules using macromedia flash on student concept mastery. This research method is development research known as Research and Development (R &amp; D) Borg and Gall model with the following research stages, 1) Preliminary Study, 2) Planning, 3) Initial product development, 4) Small-scale field test, 5 ) Revision of small-scale field test results, 6) Main field test, 7) Revision of main field test results, 8) Operational field test, 9) Final product revision, and 10) Product implementation. The research instrument was a questionnaire with 33 statements and a multiple choice written test with 20 questions. The instrument was used to measure the category of interactive organic chemistry e-module interpretation using macromedia flash through the development stages using a questionnaire based on language, material and media aspects and to measure students' conceptual mastery using a multiple-choice written test. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the interactive organic chemistry e-module using macromedia flash through the development stages was in the very good category with a score of 3.6. The hypothesis test of this research was obtained that the value of sig (2-tailed) was 0.000 &lt; 0.05, this means that there is an effect of implementing an interactive organic chemistry e-module using macromedia flash as a result of development on concept mastery. The amount of increase that occurs in the mastery of students' concepts is 66.74%.

The Effectiveness of Using Practicum-Based Algorithm and Programming Module on Cognitive Learning Outcomes of Mathematics Education Students

This study aimed to 1) analyze the effect of using practicum-based Algorithm and Programming modules on cognitive learning outcomes of Mathematics Education students, and 2) analyze the effectiveness of practicum-based Algorithm and Programming modules in improving the cognitive learning outcomes of Mathematics Education students. The learning outcomes in question were in the form of a pretest and posttest. The learning outcomes in question are in the form of a pretest and posttest. The subjects of this study were the second semester students in class 02 of Mathematics Education Study Program Universitas Tidar in the even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year who were selected with the cluster random sampling technique. The research design used was pre-experimental with the form of one group pretest-posttest design. This study used instruments in the form of observation sheets, interview guidelines, and tests. The data analysis techniques used were the prerequisite test (normality), the Wilcoxon test, and N-Gain. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the use of practicum-based Algorithm and Programming modules on the cognitive learning outcomes of Mathematics Education students and the use of practicum-based Algorithm and Programming modules was effective in improving the cognitive learning outcomes of Mathematics Education students. The results of the calculation of the N-Gain value showed that there was an increase in the results of the pretest and posttest of 0.7742 which is included in the high category and in the percentage of 77.42% is included in the category of effective interpretation.

This study aims to describe students' critical thinking skills based on learning styles with visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. This study was quantitative qualitative with descriptive method. The research subjects consisted of 8 students with each learning style at each level of critical thinking ability. Data collection in this study used tests to determine the level of students' critical thinking skills, questionnaires to determine student learning styles, and interviews. The test was carried out on the material of two-variable linear equations. The results of the tests and interviews were analyzed based on indicators of critical thinking skills: (1) interpretation, (2) analysis, (3) evaluation, (4) inference, and (5) explanation. The results showed that from 25 students there were 19 students in the category of high critical thinking skills with 6 visual, 5 auditory, and 8 kinesthetic students. 3 people with moderate critical thinking skills with 2 visual and 1 kinesthetic. 3 people with low critical thinking skills with 1 visual, 1 auditory, and 1 kinesthetic. Students with high category visual learning style can write interpretation, evaluation, inference, explanation, medium category can write interpretation, evaluation, inference, and low category can write interpretation. Students with a high category of auditory learning style can write inferences, low categories can write evaluations. Students with high category kinesthetic learning styles can write inference evaluations, medium and low categories can write evaluations.

Follicular Neoplasm of Thyroid Revisited: Current Differential Diagnosis and the Impact of Molecular Testing.

The diagnosis of "follicular neoplasm" (FN) in thyroid cytopathology has a long history that originated not long after the practice of fine-needle aspiration (FNA) of thyroid nodules. From the outset, this interpretive category was intended to convey a set of differential diagnoses rather than a precise diagnosis, as key diagnostic features, such as capsular and vascular invasion, were not detectable on cytology preparations. Cytologic-histologic correlation studies over the past several decades have shown that FN interpretation can be applied to the spectrum of nonneoplastic tumors to carcinomas. Most tumors classified as FN include follicular adenoma, follicular carcinoma, noninvasive follicular thyroid tumor with papillary-like nuclear features, and follicular variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma. Less common entities that may be classified as FN on FNA include hyalinizing trabecular tumor (HTT), poorly differentiated thyroid carcinoma, medullary carcinoma, and nonthyroidal lesions such as parathyroid tissue, paraganglioma, and metastatic tumors. Advances in our ability to detect characteristic molecular alterations (eg, GLIS gene rearrangements for hyalinizing trabecular tumor) in FNA samples may assist in the identification of some of these entities. In this review, we summarize the pathophysiology, history, and evolution of the terminology and the current differential diagnosis according to the recently published 2022 World Health Organization classification, molecular testing, and management of nodules classified as FN.

Lee and Cox, When Sunflowers Bloomed Red: Kansas and the Rise of Socialism in America

Alton Lee and Steven Cox Erik Loomis When Sunflowers Bloomed Red: Kansas and the Rise of Socialism in America By R. Alton Lee and Steven Cox (Lincoln: University of Nebraska Press, 2020. Pp. ix, 324. Notes, bibliography, index. $29.95.) R. Alton Lee and Steven Cox, two veteran historians of social movements in the Midwest, have published a highly useful volume on the history of socialism in Kansas and the Midwest more broadly. While not a completely groundbreaking study, When Sunflowers Bloomed Red is a valuable addition to the literature. It is almost shocking for students to hear today that the rural Midwest was once a hotbed of American socialism. This book is a great reminder not only of that forgotten reality, but also of the amazing variety within the socialist movement. Lee and Cox’s primary contribution is teasing out these strains and exploring each in separate chapters. I particularly appreciate how they begin by discussing “capitalistic socialists”—not a type contemporary readers might expect, but one which describes the followers of both Populism and Eugene Debs. The empathetic socialists remind readers of the social feeling that went into so much of the movement. [End Page 232] The chapter on the miners of southeastern Kansas provides an example of the more urban-industrial socialism that became the hallmark of the movement in the United States. “Successful socialists” are not an ideological type, but it is easy to forget that socialists could and did win elections during the early twentieth century. One of the most successful campaign issues for socialist candidates, including those in Kansas, was public ownership of utilities. The Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) organized itinerant workers in oil and wheat, providing a direct challenge to capital in the state. The authors take corporate and newspaper reports on the IWW too literally, as the literature on the IWW nationwide demonstrates that the authorities exaggerated Wobbly violence for their own purposes. Finally, the authors close with a chapter on the decline of the socialists in the reaction of the 1920s, and the revival of the movement during the Great Depression. My reservation regarding Lee’s and Cox’s characterizations of midwestern socialists is their placement of all women in the chapter “The Female Socialists,” which dismisses this large group’s ideological variations. Socialist women would fit into the authors’ interpretive categories; Lee and Cox should have avoided placing all socialist women in one chapter and leaving the rest of the book to men. I also wish that the authors had provided a further explanation for socialism’s decline in the Midwest. They correctly point out that the movement was far from universally popular, but that was as true in 1915 as it was in the 1940s. Why did it thrive in the face of hostility and then decline at a time when socialism retained a significant following in the urban organized labor movement? Moreover, given the region’s contributions to the far right in the present, more theoretical discussion about the trajectory of both the politics of the region and socialism more broadly would have great value. For a long time, European mountain areas have provided resources according to their environmental specificities. Mines and forests, meadows, pastures and streams have allowed the export of minerals and timber, agricultural and manufacturing products as well as handcrafts to the surrounding plains. Production has brought income to local communities while modifying the landscape. During the 20th century, many mountain areas had to deal with more competitive surrounding areas. More recently, mountains have been rediscovered mainly as places of production of environmental, touristic and cultural ecosystem services. Looking at the mountain as a place of production allows us to gain a new understanding of its territories, to look at them with an unprecedented gaze. In the last two decades, in fact, the images and analyses built around the mountain have clustered around two opposing poles, from tourism to depopulation and abandonment. Society, governments and the world of research have recently attributed promising and positive values to the mountain territories of production; this could have serious repercussions on their destiny. The present essay questions the origins and meaning of this new interest and deals with the theme of production to highlight changes in approaches and points of view. In mountain areas, in fact, the issue of production raises questions, highlights critical issues, imposes new interpretative categories, brings out perspectives for the definition of a structuring relationship between soil design and sustainable ways of transforming places.

Peel-off Mask Formulation from Stem of Sempeng (Nepenthes gracilis) as Anti Acne Against Propionibacterium acnes Bacteria

Introduction: Stem of Sempeng (Nepenthes gracilis), which contain saponin and tannin has been known had antibacterial activity against Propionibacterium acnes that usually improve severe of acne. Acne is a skin disease characterized by chronic inflammation in the polisebasca that often occurs in adolescence. Aims and Objective: The aims of this research are to develop and test a peel-off mask prepared from stem of Sempeng extracts, which has antibacterial activity against Propionibacterium acnes. Materials and Methods: Stem of Sempeng was extracted with soxhletation method by ethanol 96%. The extract was formulated into peel-off mask with different extract concentration (0, 1, 5, 10, 15) %. Then the inhibition test of the extract and peel-off mask was measured against bacteria Propionibacterium acnes. The data analysis technique used in this study was to measure the zone diameter on a petri dish using a caliper with a millimeter (mm) unit and presented in tables and photos, the results of the inhibition zone measurement were compared with the classification of the response of the extract barrier to the growth of Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CSLI) standard bacteria. Results: The result showed that the inhibition zone of the peel off mask preparation of sempeng stem extract in F1 and F2 formulations with extract concentrations of 1% and 5% are categorized as resistant, which means that the Propionibacterium acnes bacteria has a low level of sensitivity so that a large inhibition zone is not formed. Whereas in the F3 formulation with a concentration of 10% is categorized as an intermediate, which means in this concentration, the mask can inhibit the growth of the inhibition zone Propionibacterium acnes bacteria which is formed quite well, but in this category it will require repeated use or with high doses of use. Then in the F4 formulation with a concentration of 15%, it is categorized as susceptible, which means the mask have a good inhibitory resistance zone, this shows that the increase in high concentration, the greater the inhibition zone as well. Conclusion: The peel off mask from ethanol extract of Sempeng stem is able to inhibit the growth of Propionibacterium acnes bacteria. The peel mask preparation with concentration 1%, 5%, 10% and 15% forms a clear zone around the disc which means that this peel off mask formulation has activity to inhibits Propionibacterium acnes bacteria and is included in the category of susceptible interpretation according to the CLSI standard.

Development of Newton Gravity Student Worksheets on Problem-Based Learning Model to Improve Students' Scientific Argumentation Skills

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the validity, practicability, and efficiency of student worksheets for improving students' scientific argumentation skills on the topic of Newton's Law of Gravity. This study was conducted using the 4-D method, which consists of four stages of research: define, design, develop, and disseminate. It is restricted to the development stage in this study. The validity of the student worksheets was analysed based on aspects of content feasibility, guidelines, questions, scientific argumentation skills, and the Problem Based Learning model achieved an overall percentage of 93.75 %, 100 %, and 95.83 % respectively. 100 %, 100 %, 100 %. The practical aspect of student worksheets is analyzed based on the students' feedback in terms of the student worksheets component, Problem Based Learning model, enthusiasm, Newton's Law of Gravity topic, and scientific argumentation, with an average of 86 %, 82 %, 91.5 %, 88.5 %, and 88 % with robust criteria, respectively. The effectiveness of the student worksheets was determined using the outcomes of the scientific argumentation test's pretest and posttest, and they met the criteria for being very effective. The given test received an average n-gain score of 0.7342 in the interpretation category. Based on the research findings of the data analysis for validity, practicability, and effectiveness, it is possible to conclude that the student worksheets developed are feasible and effective in improving students' argumentation skills. Student worksheets based on a similar Problem Based Learning model could be designed to improve students' argumentation skills on other physics topics.

Customer Emotions in Service Robot Encounters: A Hybrid Machine-Human Intelligence Approach

Understanding consumer emotions arising from robot-customers encounters and shared through online reviews is critical for forecasting consumers’ intention to adopt service robots. Qualitative analysis has the advantage of generating rich insights from data, but it requires intensive manual work. Scholars have emphasized the benefits of using algorithms for recognizing and differentiating among emotions. This study critically addresses the advantages and disadvantages of qualitative analysis and machine learning methods by adopting a hybrid machine-human intelligence approach. We extracted a sample of 9707 customers reviews from two major social media platforms (Ctrip and TripAdvisor), encompassing 412 hotels in 8 countries. The results show that the customer experience with service robots is overwhelmingly positive, revealing that interacting with robots triggers emotions of joy, love, surprise, interest, and excitement. Discontent is mainly expressed when customers cannot use service robots due to malfunctioning. Service robots trigger more emotions when they move. The findings further reveal the potential moderation effect of culture on customer emotional reactions to service robots. The study highlights that the hybrid approach can take advantage of the scalability and efficiency of machine learning algorithms while overcoming its shortcomings, such as poor interpretative capacity and limited emotion categories.

Biblical narratives and the ecological crisis: an argument for hope

As one of the most pressing issues of our time, the ecological crisis has recently attained unprecedented prominence in the public psyche. The significance of the ecological crisis can, however, instil fatalism, reducing the potential for positive, engaged action. This article employs scholarly interpretations of popular Christian biblical narratives to provide an alternative, hopeful path by which we might gain fresh perspective on the ecological crisis and inspire popular action. This contradicts views of Christian religion as counterproductive to ecological debate. Three categories of interpretations are explored: Christianity and anthropocentrism, Christianity and the more-than-human and Christianity and ecocentrism. This article concludes that biblical narratives create a familiar, tangible means through which individuals can engage with the ecological crisis. Furthermore, the combined use of scientific and biblical narratives could constitute a deontological incentive, inspiring action. This piece concludes that biblical narratives, when used appropriately, can inspire optimism and hope in the face of the ecological crisis.

In this essay we intend to make a reading that transcends their categories of interpretation, based on the guidelines themselves Kierkegaard’s reading about his pseudonyms, but at the same time, we will save some elements of Deleuze and Guattari’s reflections to see how it can enrich the notion of “conceptual character” for Kierkegaardian studies.

The first European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (EUCAST) expert rules document was published in 2008; this was followed in 2013, 2016, and 2020 by subsequent versions [1–4]. Changes in taxonomy, the widespread availability and use of matrix-assisted laser desorption-ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF) for bacterial identification, the development of new antimicrobials, and changes in the definitions in the clinical interpretive categories (sensitive (S), susceptible increased exposure (I), resistant (R)) of susceptibility testing results have prompted a revision of the intrinsic resistance tables and expert rules.

PHYSICAL LITERACY OF FEMALE RECREATIONAL GYMNASTS

Children, especially girls, do not demonstrate physical activity (PA) and physical literacy (PL) levels associated with sufficient health benefits. Gymnastics is thought to be a suitable field for reinforcing children’s PL and related elements, such as PA. This study aimed at assessing the PL level of female recreational gymnasts to detect areas of sufficient and insufficient development in their PL. For that, 101 8-12-year-old girls (Mage=10.1±1.4), who participated in recreational gymnastics programs for at least one year (Myears=3.7±2.0), were assessed by using the Canadian Assessment of Physical Literacy (CAPL-2). Average scores (M±SD) for total PL and its related elements were calculated for all participants. Accordingly, each of them was classified into one out of the four CAPL-2’s interpretive categories, indicating whether she was at a non-recommended (“beginning”, “progressing”) or recommended level (“achieving”, excelling”). Regression analysis examined the association of total PL score with participants’ age and years of participation in gymnastics. Although the female gymnasts, similarly to same-age children worldwide, did not present adequate PL level, their fitness was sufficiently developed and they were excessively motivated/confident for PA. Adversely, other PL elements, i.e., their motor competence, PA knowledge, PA participation, were below the recommended levels, indicating deficiencies in their PL development. Age was associated with total PL (b=.440, p=.0001), whereas the years of gymnastics’ participation were not (b=.090, p=.325). Participation in recreational gymnastics is important for enhancing several PL elements of female gymnasts; however, for developing the entire range of PL elements, the implementation of multicomponent gymnastics programs must be prioritized.

The hidden physical model of kinematics under SRT’s observer-centric models

This paper assumes the reader is intimately familiar with Special Relativity’s (SRT’s) model and equations. The paper summarizes the empirical data in terms of the two main categories of interpretations of SRT currently taught in college/universities, physics texts and discussed in physics journals. Inconsistencies between the data on proper time accumulation rates and SRT are discussed. All the standard rebuttals to claims of flaws or limitations in SRT associated with one set of empirical data are ruled out by other sets of empirical data. The paper focuses on proper time data as proper time is absolute and observer independent, in contrast to the observer-centric SRT spacetime views, AND any absolute effects are cumulative and, hence, especially well-suited for revealing the absolute physical reality that underlies the relativistic view.

Interpreting change on the Child Sport Concussion Assessment Tool 5th Edition

ObjectivesThe purpose of this study was to examine the one-year test-retest reliability of Child Sport Concussion Assessment Tool 5th Edition component scores and provide recommendations for interpreting change on its component tests. DesignA prospective cohort study was conducted across two years via the Advancing Healthcare Initiatives for Underserved Students (ACHIEVES) Project. MethodsParticipants were 219 children (ages 11 to 12, M = 11.7, SD = 0.5; 52.1% girls, 47.9% boys) playing competitive school-sponsored sports in nine middle schools across a large public-school division in Virginia, USA during the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 academic years. Athletic Trainers administered the baseline Child Sport Concussion Assessment Tool 5th Edition each year. ResultsTest-retest reliability estimates for each Child Sport Concussion Assessment Tool 5th Edition component were low to moderate (ICCs=0.40-0.55). A minority of middle school athletes (15-31%) scored within a different normative classification range upon re-assessment. The following test-retest difference scores occurred in 20% or fewer of the sample: +5 total symptoms, +7 symptom severity, -2 in the Standardized Assessment of Concussion - Child Version total score, and +4 total Modified Balance Error Scoring System balance errors. ConclusionsChild Sport Concussion Assessment Tool 5th Edition component scores had poor to moderate test-retest reliability coefficients over a one-year period, though most children were classified as falling within the same interpretive category upon re-testing based on local norms. We report the raw score changes that were uncommon in our sample of uninjured children to help clinicians identify changes that might be clinically meaningful.
