Impact of Digital Transformation on Green Innovation in Manufacturing under Dual Carbon Targets

The development of green innovation in the manufacturing industry is crucial for sustainability, as it can lead to significant environmental and economic benefits. Meanwhile, the impact of digital transformation on green innovation in the manufacturing industry has been proven to be significant in a previous study. To further explore the impact of digital transformation on the development of green innovation in the manufacturing industry under the dual carbon goal, this article selects data from Chinese A-share manufacturing listed companies from 2013 to 2022 as the observation sample, proposes research hypotheses based on stakeholder theory, and conducts empirical analysis. The results indicate that digital transformation can significantly promote the development of green innovation in the manufacturing industry, which is transmitted through corporate environmental responsibility. Corporate environmental responsibility plays a partial mediating role in the impact of digital transformation on the development of green innovation. Meanwhile, media attention can strengthen the positive impact of digital transformation on green innovation. In heterogeneity analysis, it was found that the higher the institutional shareholding and analyst attention, the more likely a company’s digital transformation can promote green innovation. In addition, by comparing and analyzing the data of the two years before and after the proposal of the dual carbon target, it was found that the incentive effect of the dual carbon target did not achieve the expected effect in this article, which may be related to the short time of the proposal of the dual carbon target and the impact of the epidemic.

Research on coupling coordination between construction industry innovation and region economic development in China.

In numerous developing nations, challenges such as insufficient investment in innovation and limited capabilities for conversion impede the growth of the construction sector, thus affecting the overall economic well-being of these regions. This paper focuses on construction industry innovation (CII) and its correlation with region economic development (RED), providing valuable insights to overcome these challenges and promote sustainable economic advancement. This study references existing literature to devise an evaluation indicator system dedicated for CII and RED. It then proceeds with an empirical analysis of the integration and synergy between CII and the economic development across 31 Chinese provinces from 2012 to 2021. Furthermore, this paper employs ArcGIS and Geoda software to meticulously dissect the spatial distribution characteristics underlying this coordination. The main conclusions are succinctly summarized as follows: CII in China is intricately connected to RED, exhibiting a strong connection that diminishes from south to north. Nonetheless, the coordination level between these factors remains relatively low, with notable regional disparities, particularly from southeast to northwest. The primary obstacles to effective coordination are related to innovation input, output, and economic scale. Additionally, spatial correlation analysis demonstrates pronounced regional clustering, showing stability despite slight fluctuations over the study period. This research underscores the concept of coupling coordination between CII and RED, underpinned by scientific analytical methods. The outcomes provide a definitive guide for advancing the transformation and enhancement of the construction industry while promoting RED.

Development path of digital cultural industry by integrating proportional integral and differential algorithm from the perspective of cultural innovation

The digital culture business benefits from quick technical updates, digital manufacturing, communication networks, and customized consumption, which promotes new supply and consumption. The innovation and development of the digital cultural industry cannot be separated from the physical industry. The efficient production of the physical industry can ensure the innovative development of digital cultural industry. Therefore, to improve the production efficiency of physical industry, this research proposes a temperature control model combining whale optimization algorithm and fuzzy proportional integral differential algorithm based on the traditional temperature control in ceramic firing and wine making process. Firstly, fuzzy control theory is used to improve the proportional integral differential algorithm, and a fuzzy proportional integral differential model with adaptive adjustment function is established. On this basis, to quickly confirm the optimal parameters of the proportional integral differential model, the whale optimization algorithm is introduced to further optimize its weight factors. It was verified that the temperature control adjustment model combining whale optimization algorithm and fuzzy proportional integral differential model was 2.77 s, which was shortened by 1.11 s, 2.37 s and 3.13 s, respectively than the other three models. Therefore, the constructed temperature control model can effectively realize high-precision intelligent temperature control in industrial production, laying the cornerstone for promoting the innovative development of digital culture industry. The proposed model can improve the production efficiency of physical industries, promote digital transformation, and optimize the innovative development of digital cultural industries.

Advancing Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Manufacturing: Framework for IoT-Based Data Collection in Industry 4.0 Concept

Currently, industrial engineers are witnessing a rapid development of innovation in modern industry and the integration of critical elements of Industry 4.0 into production processes in order to remain competitive. Such changes are characterized by a large amount of effort and financial resources. To successfully deploy these changes requires not only the purchase of hardware and software but also the training of employees and the modification of the company’s organizational structure. The main objective of the article is to propose a framework for the modernization of SMEs to a level close to the Smart Factory by using the necessary attributes of Industry 4.0. The framework design is based on the initial state of a standard SME and consists of the design of fitting new IoT devices for efficient data collection, the design of a data warehouse for storing process data using Hadoop, and the integration of process- and operational-level data into the prepared data warehouse. The resulting design is developed in the form of a methodology and is generalized for use in manufacturing enterprises. The universal design is independent of the initial state of the enterprise.

Study on the effects of a novel imidazoline siliconophilic collector in the desilication process of magnesite: Separation experiments, adsorption mechanisms, and separation model

This study innovatively introduced heptadecenyl amine ethyl imidazoline quaternary ammonium salt (ODD) as a siliconophilic flotation collector, effectively facilitating the achievement of high-efficiency separation of magnesite from quartz. ODD exhibits unique properties such as high selectivity and environmental friendliness. Through a comprehensive series of experiments, including flotation tests, zeta potential characterization, atomic force microscopy (AFM) imaging, Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, and time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS), the flotation performance and selective adsorption mechanisms of ODD were thoroughly investigated. The experiments demonstrated that at a pH of 7.00 and an ODD concentration of 40 mg/L, quartz achieved a flotation recovery rate of 95.16 %, while magnesite was only 2.99 %, underscoring the high selectivity of ODD in mineral separation. Zeta potential measurements indicated that ODD exhibits strong adsorption interactions with quartz over magnesite. AFM observations confirmed that ODD forms significant adsorption structures on quartz surfaces, in contrast to weaker interactions with magnesite. FTIR analysis further revealed the robust interactions between ODD and quartz through hydrogen bonds and electrostatic forces, which were significantly diminished on magnesite surfaces. ToF-SIMS analysis provided direct evidence of ODD’s selective adsorption on quartz, contributing to a better understanding of the flotation mechanisms involved. This research not only offers a novel approach for the purification of magnesite and effective removal of quartz but also demonstrates the potential of ODD as an eco-friendly collector in mineral processing, potentially advancing a green transformation in the industry. The findings provide a solid theoretical and experimental basis for future industrial applications and innovative development of flotation collectors.

Coordination between scientific and technological innovation and the high-quality development of Baijiu industry: The coupling and decoupling perspective.

The Baijiu industry is a significant contributor to both the food industry and the light industry. Its high tax characteristics effectively promote the sustainable development of the regional economy. First, the evaluation index system of scientific and technological innovation (STI) and high-quality development of Baijiu industry (HQDBI) were constructed. The entropy-improved CRITIC method was used to measure the weights. Second, the coordination relationship and evolution trend of STI and HQDBI were explored using the coupling coordination model and the Tapio decoupling model. Then, the transfer law and key influencing factors were further investigated using the Markov chain and grey correlation, respectively. The main contribution is the dynamic evolution of the coupling and decoupling relationships from the perspective of multiple Baijiu provinces, and deeply depicts the coordination relationship and evolutionary trends of STI and HQDBI. The results show that: the spatial distribution of the coupling coordination degree shows high values in the east-west and low values in the north-south characteristics. In 2021, a pattern of coordinated development in Baijiu provinces has emerged along the Yangtze River basin. The decoupling state is mainly strong decoupling, but it remains poor in Shanxi. The coordination process is unstable and difficult to achieve leapfrog development. Coordination, sustainability and innovation environment have a greater impact on the coordination of subsystems.

The article examines the issues of innovative development of industrial enterprises in terms of project management and smart economy. Researched scientific works on selected issues. The expediency of using a taxonomic index in the analysis of innovative development of industrial enterprises in terms of project management and smart economy was determined. Attention is focused on the fact that there is a trend of decreasing innovative development in Ukrainian industry, which can be caused by various factors that affect both the internal environment of the enterprise and external conditions. Strategic directions for increasing innovativeness in industry in terms of project management and smart economy are proposed. The expediency of combining smart approaches and project management has been proven. It was noted that the use of project management methods allows to effectively implement new ideas and technologies, shorten the time from idea to release to the market, and also reduce development and production costs. The smart economy opens up new opportunities for industrial development, taking into account the use of smart technologies, data exchange and process automation. It is noted that the integration of these approaches allows creating a favorable environment for the creation and introduction of innovative products and services, which contributes to the growth of the competitiveness of industrial enterprises in the global market environment

Research on the Integration and Innovative Development of Logistics Industry and Manufacturing Industry in Anhui Province

The integration and innovative development of logistics industry and manufacturing industry (LMIID) can promote the high-quality development of economy. Based on the actual development of Anhui Province, the article constructs the evaluation index system of the LMIID, takes the development data of Anhui Province from 2013 to 2022 as the support, utilizes the entropy value method and the coupling coordination degree model to measure the coupling degree and the coupling coordination degree of the two industries in Anhui Province, and then utilizes the linear regression model to explore the influencing factors of the LMIID. The results found that the coupling coordination degree of logistics industry and manufacturing industry in Anhui Province is on the rise as a whole, but there are large fluctuations. Its influencing factors are mainly: development environment, science and technology innovation level, economic development level and labor force level. On this basis, suggestions are put forward to promote the LMIID, with a view to promoting the in-depth integration of the two industries in Anhui Province and promoting the development of the economy in the direction of high quality.

Evaluating economic efficiency of the national high-tech industrial development districts in the Yangtze River Delta by stochastic frontier analysis

The High-tech Industrial Development Districts (HIDDs) are technological engines for the regional economy in China. The Chinese government implemented the Torch Initiative to accelerate industrial agglomeration and innovation development by administratively upgrading the local HIDDs into a national list since 1989. The policy intervention emphasizes the labor and capital inputs on science and technology. The study adopts the Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) to understand the economic efficiency of the enlisted national HIDDs in the Yangtze River Delta. The results suggest that the average efficiency trends of the all-in-total sales, product sales and commodity sales are decreasing while that of technology sales is increasing from 2007 to 2019. In the total sales efficiency evaluation, most early-enrolled HIDDs are in the high-efficiency group whereas the newcomers are in the low-efficiency group. The Nantong HIDD has the highest efficiency, followed by Wuxi, Taizhou, Suzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai ZJ, Xiaoshan, Ningbo, Suzhou IP and Jiangyin HIDDs. Huainan, Huaian, Tongling, Shanghai ZZ, Lianyungang and Suqian HIDDs rank very low in the total sales evaluation. Besides, Hangzhou, Nantong and Ningbo HIDDs rank first in the technology, product and commodity sales efficiency evaluation correspondingly. In addition, the increase of S&T labor inputs would decrease the efficiency of the product, commodity and total sales while the increase of the S&T capital inputs is as expected a facilitator to the efficiency of product, commodity and total sales. This study contributes to the discussion on the role of political intervention in technological innovation by breaking down the economic efficiency into three major parts, the efficiency of technology, product and commodity sales. The findings could help policymakers strike a balance between the human and capital inputs in regional innovation capability.

ДЕЯКІ АСПЕКТИ СТРАТЕГІЧНОГО УПРАВЛІННЯ ІННОВАЦІЙНИМ РОЗВИТКОМ ПРОМИСЛОВИХ ПІДПРИЄМСТВ У КОНТЕКСТІ ДІДЖИТАЛІЗАЦІЇ

The article describes methodical approaches to the formation of the strategy of innovative development of industrial enterprises based on the Burennikova (Polishchuk)-Yarmolenko component effectiveness models, which are based on the characteristics of the category of effectiveness of any process (including the process of innovative development) using the category of effectiveness of the process as a combination its scale – the quantitative component and efficiency – the qualitative component. The purpose of the article is to reveal approaches to the formation of the innovative development strategy of industrial enterprises as micro-level systems in the context of management based on indicators of the effectiveness of the components of the innovative development process using SEE analysis as part of the SEE management mechanism in the context of digitalization. It is emphasized that the implementation of the SEE-management algorithm is based on a certain mechanism, which contains SEE-analysis and other tools, which, along with the known characteristics, cover a set of indicators of the components of the effectiveness of the innovative development process. The SEE-analysis of the process of innovative development of industrial enterprises as complex systems at the micro level means the analysis of the effectiveness of this process on the basis of the above-mentioned models and their indicators. It was determined that the proposed methodology, thanks to SEE-management, can contribute to the adoption of scientifically based management decisions regarding the innovative development of enterprises, including in the context of digitalization. A refined definition of the definition "digitalization" is given. It is believed that the use of a system of indicators in the models of the components of the effectiveness of the innovation development process will make it possible to implement in practice a comprehensive approach to the analytical, prognostic and other components of management (in particular, SEE-management) of the innovative development of industrial enterprises, starting with making a decision about the feasibility of innovations and ending with evaluation effectiveness of the innovative development process.

Formation of a policy of technological sovereignty in the territories of advanced socio-economic development by attracting private and public capital

The relevance of the article is due to the fact that the issue of sovereignty is now firmly rooted in digital space and manifests in many areas. In particular, it is reflected in actions to relocalise production, support through the state, and attract investments. The purpose of this study is theoretical substantiation of the directions in forming a policy of technological sovereignty in the zones of advanced socio-economic development with the help of private and public capital. The following methods were used: comparative and logical analysis in studying of trends in the digital economy, synthesis and generalisation in determining the essence of technological sovereignty and formulating directions to improve these processes. The article gives reasons for the phenomenon being in fact an object of industrial policy, competition,innovative development, and geopolitical studies, which actualises the issue of its formation. Moreover, territories of advanced socio-economic development may become an effective mechanism in this case, as they have created favourable conditions to attract private and public capital. The research presents vectors of technological sovereignty establishment with consideration to the possibilities of a regional aspect (the mentioned territories) and an investment one (a combination of both types of capital).

Ensuring state sovereignty, and above all, technological sovereignty, is in modern conditions a mandatory component of the innovative development of industries and ensuring a balance in scientific, technical and innovative development of the national economy. Domestic science is making its contribution to the study of these issues.
 Scientific publications present significant results of research into problems of innovative development. But there are still gaps in scientific knowledge on issues of theory, legal framework, and mechanisms for regulating relations in the field of the influence of technological sovereignty on the innovative development of industries and the national economy as a whole.
 The objectives of this study were to analyze and evaluate the accumulated knowledge in the field of the theory of technological sovereignty, its legal framework and developed regulatory mechanisms. The research methodology was based on the principles of scientific knowledge of the phenomena of social life, such as the systems approach, the principle of determinism, the principle of historicism, etc.
 As the results of the study showed, it is necessary to intensify work on the formation of the theoretical and methodological foundations of technological sovereignty. The proposal to integrate disparate regulatory legal provisions on technological sovereignty in a single act is substantiated. The incompleteness of the formation of mechanisms for achieving technological sovereignty and their fragmentation are revealed. The author's conclusions and proposals are aimed at increasing the level of scientific, methodological and legal support for activities to achieve technological sovereignty as a priority mechanism for technological development.

STATE REGULATION OF INVESTMENTS IN INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF INDUSTRY TO STRENGTHEN FINANCIAL SECURITY IN THE CONTEXT OF INDUSTRY 4.0

The main purpose of the article is the theoretical and methodological substantiation of the modern approach to the formation of a model of state regulation of investment support for innovative industrial development in the context of helping to increase the level of financial security. The object of the study is the innovative development of the industrial sector of the Ukrainian economy. At the same time, the scientific task will be to present a methodological approach to assessing the current state of trends in investment support for innovative industrial development in all regions of Ukraine as a tool for state regulation. The research methodology involves the use of modern methods of analysis and synthesis of available information on the research topic. A nonparametric statistical method was used to analyze the trends and dynamics of industrial development in Ukraine. The integral assessment method was used to form a methodological approach to assessing the level of investment support for innovative development as an effective instrument of state regulation. As a result of the study, a model of state regulation of investment support for innovative industrial development is presented. An assessment was made of the level of investment support for innovative industrial development concerning the proposed model. Based on the results obtained, measures to ensure financial security in the conditions of Industry 4.0 are proposed. The key financial obstacles to investment support for innovative industrial development are presented, ordered by the priority of the state's response to them. The study has limitations in that it does not take into account all aspects of state regulation. In this case, only the specifics of the industrial sector of the economy were taken into account.

Based on this, this paper focuses on exploring the construction path of urban museums under the background of traditional cultural IP with digital technology.

SUBSTANTIATION OF THE STRATEGY FORMING PRACTICABILITY FOR THE INNOVATIVE ACTIVITY OF INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES

This article deals with the innovative strategy of the company’s development as one of the main factors in the development of the company’s competitiveness. Available approaches to building a strategy for innovative development of industrial enterprises have been analyzed. It has been established that the approach to the management of innovative development of the enterprise can be defined as strategic management. It also has been established that the sustainability of the innovative development strategy of the enterprise has a priority value, increasing the cost of the economic and social consequences of its decisions and actions implementation. The purpose of the research has been determined – substantiation of the practicability of forming a strategy of industrial enterprise innovative activity as a guarantee of strengthening competitive positions, meeting the needs of consumers, and further development of the enterprise. The outcome of the development of any business largely depends on the combination of strategies it chooses and the tools it uses for that. Innovation strategy is one of the main strategies of enterprise development. An innovation strategy is a plan used by a company to encourage advances in technology or services, often through investment in research and development. The goal is to create a mechanism of effective organizational and economic management that can contribute to the innovative development of the enterprise. Innovative strategies are necessary for companies that want to gain a competitive advantage. After all, modern market conditions provide for a fast pace of product life cycles; new discoveries are made and new products are manufactured every day. This article presents the relevance of innovation strategies and the types of innovation strategies considered by various authors. The problems of this topic, the authors who explore the subject are brought into sharp focus. The main tasks of the innovation strategy are shown. The stages of its formation and principles of construction are considered. It has been analyzed that whether the innovation process is revolutionary or evolutionary depends on the trend chosen by the company, as well as on its effective strategy of innovative development. For another thing, the level of intellectual resources of the company and human intellectual capital will also play a significant role in determining the result of this process. It was concluded that the process of determining the direction of innovative development of these enterprises can be compared with the development of an innovative development strategy. It was determined that the innovative strategy of the organization should be considered as a system of enterprise actions, aimed at achieving the long-term goals of its activity, further development, strengthening competitive positions, satisfying consumer needs, ensuring steady demand for products, through the use of complex considerations of the external and internal environment, influence, determination of strategic innovation goals and development indicators, and formation of a system based on this trends of innovative development, types of market strategic behavior, distribution of innovative achievements, etc. The questions that need to be answered when forming a strategy are identified: How do innovations create value for potential customers? How will the company distribute the value of the innovations that gave rise to them?

Targeting in management of sustainable innovative development for industrial enterprises

The problem of reindustrialisation of the country and its transition to the sixth technological mode is of particular relevance for the Russian economy at present. At the same time, for the effective management of reindustrialisation, it is necessary, first of all, to develop a system of target setting for sustainable innovative development of industrial enterprises and production sectors. The aim of the paper is to consider and use a new methodological approach to the formation of such a system of target indicators. It is shown that there is no direct possibility of using for this purpose the theory of endogenous economic growth, the theory of long waves and the concept of technological patterns, the theory of sustainable development of economic systems. The paper presents ways and means of solving three problems arising in the process of effective management of sustainable innovation development of industrial production at the level of industries and enterprises: taking into account the impact on the activation of innovation activity of incoming open “tangible” innovations (patents, licences, software products) and closed innovations in the form of R&D costs; identifying the predominant impact on the resource efficiency of enterprises and industries of certain types of technological innovation-process and product innovations; determining for each type of technological innovation (process and product innovations); determining the impact of the innovation activity of incoming enterprises and industries on the resource efficiency of enterprises and industries.

Research on the evolution of China's photovoltaic technology innovation network from the perspective of patents

Photovoltaic (PV) technology, as a low-carbon energy technology, is crucial to mitigating climate change and achieving sustainable development. China has the largest total number of PV technology patents in the world, but the lack of core technologies has restricted the further innovative development of China's PV industry. Therefore, it is necessary to clarify China's current PV technology accumulation to better catch up with key technology areas. To clearly describe the structural characteristics of China's PV technology innovation network, this study uses China's patent PV technology data over the past 20 years from the Incopat global patent database and analyses the structural characteristics of the network from the perspectives of one-mode and two-mode networks, using method of social network analysis (SNA). The results show that 1) the leading PV enterprises have basically formed relatively stable internal collaborations and that the scale of innovation network development has expanded rapidly, with very strong stamina; 2) with the development of China's PV industry, many innovative PV techniques have been developed by leading enterprises in the field of innovation and research and development (R&D) of PV technology, and among patent applicants with strong collaboration, kinship collaboration with investment relationships is dominant; 3) provinces participating in PV technology innovation are increasing significantly, the network is more influenced by leading nodes, and the eastern coastal provinces are pioneers in the innovation and R&D of PV technology; and 4) PV technological innovation collaboration between patent applicants and cities has changed from local collaboration to cross-regional collaboration, high-value areas are basically concentrated in the eastern coastal region of China, with scattered spatial characteristics, and cross-regional collaboration presents a “triangular” spatial structure, with the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei as cores. The conclusions can provide patent information support for scientific research on energy conservation and emission reduction to achieve low-carbon goals, and can also provide reference for policy formulation of renewable energy development and green development strategies.
