The aim of the study is a practical analysis of social network services as a place to store multimedia resources that allow you to store and share digital photos, audio and video recordings, text files, presentations, and organize resource discussions for free. They can be used as educational materials (educational videos, photos on various topics, audio and video recordings of scientists' speeches, eyewitnesses of events, etc.), as well as means to store student video, photo, audio files and creative works. Method. Theoretical materials of the research are the best practices of foreign and domestic scientists in the field of network communications and their impact on the future specialists preparing in geography and tourism, namely articles, monographs, abstracts, dissertations. The study uses the method of theoretical materials analysis, as well as methods of observation, abstraction in identifying the qualification characteristics of social Internet networks. Content analysis (analysis of the social networks community messages content); statistical and comparative information analysis was carried out. Empirical research on the social Internet networks lies in creating and filling a community on the social Internet network, as well as engaging students in that community. Results. In the research it was found out that social networks can be used to solve the following tasks: to organize the collective work of students in the classroom (and outside it), which will be favourable to the communication, to gain the team experience; to ensure the development of the students personalized learning environment; to promote students independent learning, as everyone works in his own rhythm; to promote informal communication between the tutor and the students; to change the tutor's role, who will become an assistant, friend, mentor; to create digital educational content of the disciplines. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the fact that on the comprehensive analysis of social internet networks, internet blogs, tourist internet resources basis, their place and role in the information and educational environment of higher education institutions are determined, in particular: the specifics of the content, prospects and mechanisms of the development of the social Internet networks from the point of view of training future tourists are determined; the dependence of the functions of the Social Internet Network, Internet blogs on their structural elements is established. Practical significance. The obtained scientific results are used in the educational process of future specialists in the field of training "Tourism", with the educational qualification "tourism expert, organizer of excursion and animation activities" when teaching the disciplines "study of local lore and tourism", "tourist work", "recreational geography", "geography of Ukraine", "professional competencies in tourism business", "organization of tourist activities". The research practices can be used to conduct tourist, museum, local history, excursion and other types of student's practice.

In the article the author on the basis of the analysis of scientific and pedagogical, methodical literature proves the urgency of creating a digital educational environment of higher education. The definitions of the concept of «educational environment», «information and educational environment», «digital environment» are analyzed. The author clarifies the concept of research «information and educational environment» as a holistic open system that promotes self-development of research and teaching staff, quality training of students through the use of modern information and communication technologies for integrated communication; «digital educational environment of higher education institution» – an open integrated system that is constantly evolving, contributes to the digitalization of the educational institution, provides unimpeded access to the centers of the necessary information. The researcher concludes that the effectiveness of the digital educational environment depends on the use of resources such as: messengers, video conferencing; cloud storage; interactive whiteboards, open online education platforms, etc.

Advantages and Challenges of Smart Learning in Higher Education Institutions in Saudi Arabia

Higher Education Institutions have been implementing a unique technology-based learning way, as Information and Communication Technology is rapidly growing. Smart Learning is technology-supported learning that provides a comfortable learning environment that touches the individual learners’ needs. The new learning platform seeks to enhance education in a more intelligent yet simpler way. As this topic becomes a global educational matter, the Saudi government has been carefully discussing the implementation of Smart Learning since 2007. This research paper studies the advantages and challenges that will face the students by implementing a Smart Learning environment in Higher Education Institutions in Saudi Arabia. This research is completed using Quantitative research methodology. It develops questionnaire and applies to 530 students and professor in Saudi universities. This study comes with benefits and challenges of e-learning such as flexibility, interaction and internet experience. Also, it suggests a set of innovative recommendations to overcome the challenges that the Saudi universities might face with the new learning system.

Компаративний аналіз видів організаційної структури управління закладом вищої освіти

The modern stage of modernization of both the national and the world higher education system necessitates the transformation of higher education institutions into entrepreneurial, innovatively active organizations that are able to quickly adapt to volatile changes in the external environment. In this regard, many issues require a new solution regarding the management of higher education institutions (HEIs), i.e.: ensuring the quality of higher education, training the personnel, appropriate to labor market, providing various educational services, ensuring the continuity of education, and improving the organizational and economic mechanism of management of HEI. From the point of view of the system approach, a HEI is seen as an open system, a mechanism for converting input information or resources into final products, where effective organization of internal processes becomes one of the most important ways to obtain its competitive advantages. Based on the analysis of the main properties of HEI as an open dynamic system, it is defined that the most important systemic characteristic of university is its organizational structure, which includes four main aspects: description of the structure of subdivisions and departments; connections between them and the external environment; information circulating on these connections; functions performed by structural units and departments. The article is aimed at studying various types of organizational structure of management of higher education institution, determining the specifics of their application in the activities of the university, which operates in an open informational and educational space. The main types of organizational structure of management of HEI, built on the classical principle, are distinguished; weaknesses and strengths of their application for the management of HEI are determined. It is proved that the organizational management structures, built according to divisional and matrix types, are promising, since only they are able to adequately and promptly respond to changes both in the internal and external environment of HEI. A list of requirements to meet the contemporary, effective organizational structure of a higher education institution is formed, the highlighted requirements are: optimality, operational efficiency, reliability, economic efficiency, flexibility and stability of the management system. The carried out study allowed to conclude that a higher education institution in the process of its life cycle should timely adjust its strategic goals of activity and make adequate changes to the organizational structure in accordance with the new conditions in which it functions.

The essence of experimental research of the process of students’ sociocultural values formation in the educational environment of higher education institutions

The relevance of the problem of students’ sociocultural values formation in the educational environment of higher education institutions is obtained in the article. The theoretical substantiation of the problem is carried out and the necessity and expediency of revealing the essence and logic of experimental research of the process of students’ sociocultural values formation in the educational environment of higher educational institutions is proved. The methodological basis of the research, which is represented by the polyparadigmal integrity of educational paradigms and the synthesis of ideas of scientific approaches, and the research methods, used in the work, are disclosed. It has been found, that the essence of the experimental work is to verify the potential of the methodology of students’ sociocultural values formation within the axio-oriented educational environment of higher education institutions and clarify the logic of the axiogenesis of sociocultural values. The criteria apparatus of the research is revealed, it contains motivational-axiological, cognitive-reflexive, and subject-activity criteria with corresponding indicators. In accordance with the requirements for the diagnostic stage of the experimental study, the diagnostic tools, which used in the ascertaining and control stages of the experimental work, containing both standardized approaches (“Value Orientations Study” approach by P. Stepanov); “Schwartz’s Study of Personality Values” questionnaire, etc.), and author’s proprietary questionnaires (“Level of Formation of Sociocultural Values According to the Motivational-axiological Criterion” questionnaire etc.), are presented. The general sequence of experimental work, which was reduced to such a logical scheme, is highlighted: 1) diagnostics of level of sociocultural values formation; 2) the methodology of students’ sociocultural values formation in the educational environment of a higher education institution; 3) analysis of the dynamics of sociocultural values at different stages of its axiogenesis and environment. The summary interpretation of criteria, indicators, and related diagnostic approaches is presented in the table. The stages of experimental work are succinctly disclosed

Interaction in the system "teacher-student" in the information and educational environment of the institution of higher education

The directions of modernization of the modern system of training of future specialists of physical education and sports and higher education institutions in general are shown. Optimal forms of training have been analyzed, which demanded the updating of training facilities, among which electronic educational resources, which are used both as an auxiliary tool in the classroom process and as the main means of realization of distance learning, are becoming more widespread. The most effective forms of organization of the educational process are determined by combining the lessons with the elements of distance learning. Thanks to the latest information and communication technologies, the teacher implements educational and methodical activities, updates the content of educational resources and improves their digital reproduction with subsequent translation of knowledge in the educational process, choosing channels of knowledge transfer taking into account the physical presence of the student. It is noted that, depending on the status of the subjects, interaction with the information and educational space is as follows: the teacher improves skills by systematically updating knowledge, monitors information on innovations in the field, studies advanced pedagogical experience, establishes two-way communication; and the student broadens knowledge of the subject, tracks information on industry innovations, joins student communities, participates in student projects or e- conferences. Priority measures that facilitate the effective management of the student's cognitive activity within the framework of the information and educational environment of higher education institutions in physical culture and sports are highlighted. The main trends in the educational process are identified.

Beyond the Rhetoric of Sexual Harassment Policy to Good Leadership in Higher Education Institutions: Case Study, University for Development Studies

Purpose: Sexual harassment has been working itself up as a social canker where women are widely abused. Regrettably, this menace has been systematically ignored by the relevant authorities. Sexual harassment has gained currency in institutions of higher learning for several reasons. The study is limited to sexual harassment of females since this is pervasive and systematic. The paper investigates the extent of sexual harassment in contemporary times, its impact on the learning environment of higher education institutions. The paper also attempts to identify perpetrators of this heinous act. The study uses the University for Development Studies as case study. The writer closely examines the Sexual Harassment Policy of the University which only became operational in 2018.Methodology: A qualitative research design was employed. The population was the student leadership (Student Representative Council- SRC) of the multi-campus structure of the University for Development Studies (40), Simple random sampling technique was used to draw a sample size of 8 from which qualitative data was obtained using interview schedules for the four (4) Campuses of the University. Direct-observations and interviews of some key persons in the University was also employed.Results: The study revealed some weaknesses of the policy and concludes that the policy per se does not guarantee a complete protection for victims of sexual abuses. This therefore leaves much to be desired. Unique Contribution to theory, practice and policy: The paper therefore draws attention to this handicap that indeed, the policy may be in the right direction, but in itself not a sufficient bulwark against sexual harassment on campus. The writer therefore advocates extra guarantees or interventions for the University for Development Studies, whose policy on sexual harassment only recently became operational. Additional safeguards are recommended and above all a committed leadership to make the sexual harassment policy work

ПІДГОТОВКА МАЙБУТНІХ УЧИТЕЛІВ ПОЧАТКОВОЇ ШКОЛИ ДО ДИСТАНЦІЙНОГО НАВЧАННЯ

The article focuses on the problem of preparing future primary school teachers for distance learning as an important form of education organization of modern primary school pupils. The essence of the concept “distance learning” has been specified. The objective and peculiarities of distance learning have been determined. The author’s definition of the concept “preparation of the future primary school teachers for distance learning” has been proposed: a system of scientifically sound actions in the educational process of higher education institution, aimed at developing the students’ technical literacy; needs for self-improvement; mastering a set of special technical-pedagogical knowledge and skills, which ensures high effectiveness of the teacher’s educational activities in the distance format. According to the results of studying the scientific and pedagogical literature; survey of primary school teachers, teachers of higher education institutions (HEIs); the use of methods of expert assessments and ranking, pedagogical conditions for preparing future primary school teachers for distance learning in primary school have been determined, they are: mastering by the future teachers of distance learning in primary school during the study of academic disciplines, creating educational-information environment in HEI, formation of practical skills during different types of practice, the development of the need for self-improvement. Special technical and pedagogical knowledge to be acquired by the future primary school teachers has been outlined. It is proved that the success of the students’ acquisition of distance learning knowledge should be ensured by introducing a contextual approach to the training of the future primary school teachers. The matrix has been developed that reflects the inclusion of the system of distance learning knowledge into the process of studying pedagogical disciplines of bachelors and masters in the specialty 013 Primary Education. The objective and peculiarities of the introduction of the electronic special course “Methods of Distance Learning in Primary School” have been determined. It is noted that the issue of substantiation of the mentioned pedagogical conditions and the development of educational and methodological support for the preparation of the future primary school teachers for distance learning requires further scientific researches.

FORMATION OF A PSYCHOLOGICALLY SAFE EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC ENVIRONMENT IN A HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION

The article deals with the problem of formation of a psychologically safe educational and scientific environment in a higher education institution. The core and structural and functional components of a psychologically safe educational and scientific environment of a higher education institution are clarified concerning the analysis of scientific literature: object interaction of participants of educational process, material and technical conditions of work and training, semantic and methodical conditions of educational process. To study the state of psychological security of the education institution, a modified method of I. Bayeva was used and a questionnaire was developed for applicants for higher education of the third (educational-scientific) level regarding the presence of conflict situations. The results of studying the state of psychological security of the educational and scientific environment of higher education institutions are presented. The main component of the educational and scientific environment is determined – the psychological component (the nature of communication between the subjects of the educational process). The results of the survey of applicants of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education on the issues of conflict situations are analyzed. A comprehensive program for the formation of a psychologically safe educational and scientific environment is proposed, which includes: diagnosis and examination of the psychological safety of the educational and scientific environment; ensuring the emotional comfort of higher education students in the educational process; creating conditions for PhD students to receive educational, informational, organizational, psychological and counseling support; provision of psychological support for PhD students; prevention of psychological violence in higher education; constant monitoring of indicators of psychological safety of the educational and scientific environment; development of conditions for increasing the level of comfort of academic staff, maintaining the proper level of their professional health; creating conditions for improving the quality of scientific activity of teachers and PhD students.

FORMATION OF COMPETENCIES FOR THE STUDY OF GENERAL TECHNICAL DISCIPLINES BY BACHELORS OF AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING IN THE DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT

The article considers the tools of the digital environment for the formation of competencies in the study of general technical disciplines by bachelors in agricultural engineering. The concept of digital environment of higher education institution is considered. The general competencies for different subject areas are singled out, which during the educational process it is necessary to acquire bachelors of specialty 208 "Agroengineering". It is analyzed which disciplines are related to general technical and it is determined which competencies the bachelor of agricultural engineering acquires during their study. It is determined that for the training of higher education it is advisable to form workshops for learning in the informational and educational environment, in which with the help of QR-codes are links to interactive online tools: audiovisual instructions for working with computer-aided design systems, electronic test simulators, online laboratory works with multimedia support, interactive lectures with audiovisual support, multimedia presentations for practical works, online glossary, etc.Key words: general technical disciplines, bachelors in agricultural eengineering, digital environment, competencies.

A Proposed Framework of Campus-Oriented Online Text Messaging System

Nowadays, the rapid advancement of mobile software development has triggered to emerge of more online text messaging applications. In the environment of higher education institutions, it is also widely utilized to support the communication process between campus members. This research proposed a system of campus-specific online text messaging that is expected to improve academic activities. As a case study, the system was implemented using <em>React Native</em> framework and <em>Push Notification Service</em> for use in State Polytechnic of Malang, Indonesia. The system consists of three main subsystems that work together, including <em>Client Application</em>, <em>Server Application</em>, and <em>Push Notification Manager</em>. To evaluate the proposed system, we conducted a survey. The result of the user satisfaction test shows that most users consisting of lecturers, staff, and students felt more helped in the communication process in the campus environment.

ВИКОРИСТАННЯ ГЕЙМІФІКАЦІЇ В ОСВІТНЬОМУ СЕРЕДОВИЩІ ЗАКЛАДІВ ВИЩОЇ ОСВІТИ

The article is devoted to innovations in the process of professional development of undergraduate students of various specialties. The proliferation of computer games has created new educational practices. The use of gamification of the educational process in higher education is becoming a necessary educational practice that offers new forms of education and training. Visualization activates cognitive activity and facilitates the assimilation of educational material by undergraduate students of various specialties. Gamification – the application of elements of the game and game principles into non-game contexts, introduced in modern online games, to motivate students and achieve real educational goals while studying the subject.The purpose of the article is to analyze the process of gamification in the educational environment of higher education institutions in the professional development of undergraduate students of various specialties.Methodology. A descriptive method with elements of comparative analysis, a method of modeling that contributed to a comprehensive study of the problem.Scientific novelty is to determine the main areas of use of gamification as an educational practice in higher education institutions.Conclusions. 1. In the process of teaching undergraduate students, the use of gamification allows to expand the possibilities of traditional higher education and shift the emphasis to interactive learning. This will allow students to think outside the box and develop self-control, as well as diversify the format of educational activities. 2. An indicator of professional development is professionalism. In this process, gamification becomes a necessary educational practice that offers new forms of education and training. Visualization and simultaneous influence on different senses intensify cognitive activity and facilitate the assimilation of undergraduate students of different specialties of educational material. 3. To actively use the gamified education system, it is necessary to study the theoretical materials, try to gamify a particular topic or lesson and analyze how undergraduate students react to such an innovation.The use of computer games in the educational process of higher education institutions promotes the development of personality, communication skills, improves the professional development of students.

Enhancing Internal Learning in Teams: The Role of Network Centrality and Psychological Capital of Undergraduate Students.

This study aims to analyze the mediating role of psychological capital (PsyCap) in the relationship between network centrality and internal learning in teams. A questionnaire was administered to 480 undergraduate students to test this relationship. The results confirmed the positive relationship between network centrality and internal learning in teams, and a mediating role of PsyCap in the relationship between student network centrality and internal learning in teams. This study suggests that it is important to promote centrality in advice networks among undergraduate students. In addition, this study might raise awareness among students, teachers, and public policymakers about the need to promote a socially responsible environment in higher education institutions.

ORGANIZATIONAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS OF FUTURE PHILOLOGY TEACHERS’ TRAINING IN THE EDUCATIONAL AND COMMUNICATIVE ENVIRONMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

The article defines that in modern Ukrainian realities the teacher of Ukrainian language and literature of the new generation appears as a person who is aware of national, cultural and linguistic values, preserves and continues Ukrainian cultural and historical traditions, has creative personality, is a true patriot, professional teacher (active citizen of Ukraine), spiritual mentor. Accordingly, there is the demand to improve philology teachers’ professional training, taking into account different concepts, approaches and principles; ensuring a harmonious combination of purpose, content, structure, stages, forms, and methods of organization the educational and communicative environment of higher education institutions. Any system can function and develop successfully only under certain conditions, as well as the result of future philology teachers’ professional training in an educational and communicative environment.The optimal pedagogical conditions for future philology teachers’ training in the educational and communicative environment of higher education institutions have been identified: 1) increasing motivation and pedagogical reflection on the professional and communicative activities of future teachers of philology by means of interactive technologies; 2) the use of communicative learning strategies during the training of future teachers of philology; 3) improving the content and forms of practical training to gain experience in future professional and communicative activities; 4) creation of educational-methodical and educational-informational support of educational-communicative environment for training of teachers of philology. It was found that such pedagogical conditions would improve the educational and communicative environment, create a mechanism of mental activity of students, which will contribute to the accumulation of knowledge and life experience, as well as support studentsʼ intellectual efforts, stimulate cognitive and communicative activity. It has been confirmed that pedagogical conditions optimize the improvement of the educational process, the creation of such a mechanism of students' thought process, which will promote the accumulation of knowledge and life experience, as well as support studentsʼ intellectual efforts, stimulate cognitive and communicative activity.

The Analysis of the Influence of Information Environment on the Efficiency of Training Future Masters for Research Activity

The article presents the results of research on the problem of training future masters of humanities for research activity under the conditions of the information environment. The authors reviewed scientific literature, determined the mainstreams of the future masters’ training for research activities, and the dynamics of their readiness for these activities, studied the influence of the information environment of higher educational institutions on the level of the development for research activities. They also developed the provisions for methodological recommendations. The information environment is understood as the possibility to obtain the necessary data, evidence, hypotheses, theories, etc. Much attention is paid to ensuring the quality of professional training through the introduction of stagewise higher education, the formation of the future masters’ professional mobility under the labour market conditions. Based on the review of psychological and pedagogical literature, we determined the pedagogical conditions for the development of future masters' readiness for research activities: ensuring the future masters’ training within the modern information environment; formation of the future masters’ motivation for research activities in the information environment; introduction of a competent approach into the future masters of humanities training; ensuring the integration of academic subjects in the future masters’ training for research activity. Based on the results of the study, we determined the main tasks of further research. The authors confirmed the reliability of the research results by the Student’s t-test and Fisher’s F-test.

Educational Management of Innovative Pedagogical Process in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)

The article proves that one of the objectives of the contemporary high school is developing the potential of all participants of the pedagogical process, giving them opportunities for revealing creative abilities. Such a change in the role of education in society has led to innovative processes. We distinguish the following elements of innovative activity in HEIs: the goal (increasing the efficiency of resource use in the HEIs), the content (the processes of creating and applying the innovations, including regular ones) and the product (the quality of training the graduates of the HEIs). We also identified the following types of innovation: organizational, processive and productive, which are the subjects of innovative activity in the HEIs. Under these circumstances, the planning and application of innovations are considered as the area of involving teachers into innovation activity. We specified the factors increasing the number of innovative activities: organizational and technological preparation of creating innovations is considered pre-innovation activity; the production of innovations depends on research and scientific work; the application of innovations includes the stages of implementation, design and dissemination. We distinguished contextual, educational, scientific and innovative processes and the process of strategic development of human potential. We identified the prospects of researching the innovative environment of HEIs as a condition for effective innovative activity of teachers. Generally, the structure of indirect management of the innovative process includes the main stages of the reflexive regulation of searching a new idea: the stages of criticism, conscious rethinking and normalization of the activity. The organizational structure of such management includes the following stages: diagnostic, regulatory, analytical and verification. Knowledge of the varieties of structures and their main stages is necessary to define the whole system of reflective management, because the innovation process consists of micro-innovation processes, which need to be adjusted in communication. We analysed the basic structural components of the authors’ technology of managing the innovation process at the department level as a structural part of НЕІs.

What do we know about university academics' mental health? A systematic literature review.

There has been a growing interest in the negative influence that the environment of higher education institutions has on the mental health of academics. The current climate of global education-competition places extreme expectations on academics. A number of factors influence academics' mental health, such as teaching, supervising, generating research income, among others, and there is evidence to suggest that the university environment is jeopardising academics' physical and psychological health. This study sought to review the international literature with a view to ascertaining what the most commonly used measures are to investigate this topic, including the main stressors and coping strategies reported/used by academics and their lived experiences. A thorough review of the literature was conducted, and 28 studies were identified and critically analysed. The review concludes that there is compelling evidence that the university environment is triggering high levels of stress and burnout and low levels of well-being for academics. There is extremely limited research on the perceptions and lived experiences of academic staff. It is virtually unknown, what coping strategies academics use to face job demands, and our knowledge about burnout seems to be limited by the use of one particular measure without cultural adaptations. Practical implications and directions for future research are proposed.

Psycho-Pedagogical Conditions for Preparing Future Teachers for Their Interaction with Students’ Parents in Inclusive Practice in Primary Schools

The concept of the New Ukrainian School is aimed at organizing effective inclusive education for students, in particular younger students with special educational needs, and their cooperation with healthy peers. The paper aims to theoretically justify and experimentally verify psycho-pedagogical conditions for teaching future primary school teachers how to interact with students’ parents in inclusive practice. The experimental group (EG) involved 203 respondents and the control group (CG) 215 respondents, as well as 12 university teachers, 36 primary school teachers and 115 students’ parents of students with/without special educational needs. The psycho-pedagogical conditions are determined as follows: developing future primary school teachers’ motivational, values-based and responsible attitude to acquiring knowledge, abilities and skills needed for the interaction with students’ parents in inclusive practice; using the opportunities of an educational environment in higher education institutions to develop future primary school teachers’ certain competencies by improving and integrating the content of professional and specialized academic courses, applying innovative and traditional technologies of teaching and learning; focusing academic training and teaching placement towards improving the experience of future primary school teachers in interacting with students’ parents in inclusive practice). The paper employs some author’s methodologies (adapted to Raven’s (1991) socio-pedagogical methodologies): surveys, interviews, student questionnaires, tests, assignments. The ratio between the levels of future primary school teachers’ readiness to interact with students’ parents in inclusive learning is the following: the experimental group – a high level 45.32%, an average level 41.87%, a low level 12.81%; the control group a high level 16.74%, an average level 36.75%, a low level 41.51%. The obtained results indicate some dynamic positive changes in the levels of EG respondents’ readiness under the influence of the proposed psycho-pedagogical conditions.

Impact Of Service Quality On Students Satisfaction In Higher Education Institutions

In prevalent competitive environment of higher education institutions it has become vital for the institutional management to pursue for attainment of students satisfaction and maintain it throughout their stay in the institution during the course of study. Besides many predictors, the service quality is considered very vital factor in education sector to ensure students satisfaction all along their learning stage. Therefore, this research study aims to measure the relationship between the service qualities of higher education institutions with their customers (students) satisfaction. The service quality of higher education is determined by measuring various dimensions of service quality such as; the tangibility of institution and its infrastructure, reliability in its service delivery, responsiveness of its service providers, assurance and empathy. The research furthers its measurement of relationship of each dimension of service quality with students satisfaction level with a view to ascertain significance of each or otherwise. The research intends to investigate students of public and private sector universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The research is not only expected to determine the prevalent level students satisfaction and service quality of higher education, but also help to draw a comparative analyses between the public and private sector in this regard. The research would help the management of higher education institutions to revisit and regulate their strategies to deliver better service quality to its customers by focusing each dimension of the service quality individually.

Social Integration of Hearing-Impaired Students by Means of Health-Enhancing and Recreational Activities

Purpose: To substantiate and develop a program of health-enhancing and recreational physical activity for the social integration of students with hearing impairments in a higher education institution environment.
 Materials and Methods. The study involved 65 students with hearing impairments 17–18 years of age (30 males and 35 females). Theoretical analysis and generalization of special scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical experiment, anthropometric measurements of the hearing-impaired, Apanasenko’s method, methods of mathematical statistics were used.
 Results. The structure and content of the program of health-enhancing and recreational physical activity for students with hearing impairments were scientifically substantiated and developed. The program takes into account the factors, principles, objectives, tasks, methods, organizational and socio-pedagogical conditions for its effective implementation in higher education institutions. The program includes a system for monitoring the results of its implementation and performance criteria. The effectiveness criteria for the health-enhancing and recreational physical activity program were identified as follows: social integration of hearing-impaired students, restoring their psycho-emotional state, and involvement of the young people in regular physical activity.
 Conclusions. The results of the study confirmed the effectiveness of the developed program of health-enhancing and recreational physical activity in a higher education institution for the social integration of hearing-impaired students.
