This study aimed at investigate the effect of using a problem-based learning strategy on acquiring financial concepts and enhancing motivation to learn financial literacy among tenth grade students in Jordan. To achieve the purposes of the study, a purposeful sample of (60) basic eight grade students were selected and distributed randomly on the study groups: the experimental group and the control group (30, 30( respectively. The experimental group was taught using the problem- solving based strategy while the control group was using the conventional methed, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences on the acquisition of financial concepts, and motivation to learn Inclinations among students in favor of experimental group. In light of the results, the study recommended to use the problem-based learning strategy by financial literacy teachers in the classroom.
