Identifying Identifying Character Education and Types Of Meaning Of Wise Words in The School Environment

Character education can be done by giving a wise words that is displayed on the school wall. The existing character education consists of 5 aspects which contain 15 values of character education. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research method that examines the content of character education values in wise words which are analyzed in the study of meaning. The wise words contains 6 values of character education consisting of tolerance values, religious values, discipline values, values for appreciating achievements, values for hard work, and values for responsibility. Found in the semantic meaning, namely narrow meaning. Broad meaning, connotative meaning, emotive meaning, referential meaning, construction meaning, lexical meaning, grammatical meaning, ideational meaning, propositional meaning, central meaning, pictorial meaning, idiomatic meaning. In the wise words, it is found that there is a study of the semantic meaning and the value of character education that is fulfilled according to the identification.

The Persuasive speech in business advertorial discourse

The study outlined in this article aimed to describe the language used in the advertisements discourse in the online daily news. This study analyzed the persuasive language used in the business advertorial which includes the choice of language forms and persuasion techniques in advertorial discourses that have persuasive power. The study was designed using a qualitative approach. The data source was the business advertorials text contained in online news media. Data of the study is in the form of words and sentences that are considered to have persuasive power in influencing the targeted audience. By applying content analysis, this study produced findings on language characteristics and persuasive techniques found in business advertorial discourses. The persuasive language forms in the advertorial discourses were represented in the choice of words and expressions. The persuasive words illustrated profits, self-image, heart responses. The style of words was hyperbolic, metaphorical, and language prestige. The expressions in the advertorial discourses have the meaning of suggestions for prospective customers, demeaning other products, emphasizing self-confidence, emphasizing product competition, giving evidence of product trust, and expressions to invite action. The words and expressions were chosen according to the context and product advertised to emphasize the emotional meaning of the ad reader. The persuasion techniques were used to achieve a number of changes, such as changing the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of the readers.

The article discusses some theoretical aspects of emotive meaning in the process of interpretation of the literary text. Emotive analysis is part of the basic structural analysis of the work and aims at functionally assisting, directing and clarifying its additional nuances and meanings. Finding the key to emotive codes and their dynamic interaction with other literary codes in the discussed work is a pre-requisite for the completion of the in-depth analysis of the text. The members of the „Misal” circle were particularly attentive to the ways in which emotion played an important role in the accomplishment of literary works. The study explores how the emotional tonality and the emotive code of „soft melancholy” play a key role in two works by the circle members – Dream of Happiness by Pencho Slaveykov and Idyllic Romances by Petko Todorov. The emotive code offers a new perspective of interpretation, exposing the inner tension within the form/content dichotomy of the text, in effect decoding its psychological meaning.

Aging in Chinatowns: the Meaning of Place and Aging Experience for Older Immigrants.

The concept of "Aging in place" has not been fully validated among older immigrant groups living in diverse cultures. The study used a qualitative research approach and interviewed Chinese immigrant older adults across three Chinese enclave communities in New York City to identify whether Chinatowns are a place for Chinese immigrants to age and explore their experience of aging in Chinatowns. The findings showed that Chinese immigrants did consider Chinatown as the place, which conveyed practical, linguistic, social, emotional and cultural meaning. Aging in Chinatown, older adults sought independence, security, and autonomy through various social resources. However, older adults, especially newly arrived immigrants, have faced obstacles that undermine their aging experience. Older immigrants' unique aging experience has provided profound insight in understanding migration and AIP, which help develop proper policies and programs to support the AIP initiative.

Context reconsidered: Complex signal ensembles, relational meaning, and population thinking in psychological science.

This article considers the status and study of "context" in psychological science through the lens of research on emotional expressions. The article begins by updating three well-trod methodological debates on the role of context in emotional expressions to reconsider several fundamental assumptions lurking within the field's dominant methodological tradition: namely, that certain expressive movements have biologically prepared, inherent emotional meanings that issue from singular, universal processes which are independent of but interact with contextual influences. The second part of this article considers the scientific opportunities that await if we set aside this traditional understanding of "context" as a moderator of signals with inherent psychological meaning and instead consider the possibility that psychological events emerge in ecosystems of signal ensembles, such that the psychological meaning of any individual signal is entirely relational. Such a fundamental shift has radical implications not only for the science of emotion but for psychological science more generally. It offers opportunities to improve the validity and trustworthiness of psychological science beyond what can be achieved with improvements to methodological rigor alone. Assessment of Quality of life among patients with hip osteoarthritis

Aim: To assess quality of life in patients with hip osteoarthritis. Method: A hospital based cross sectional study was carried out involving hip osteoarthritic patients at District headquarter hospital Gujranwala. From May 2022 to Sep 2022.A total of 196 participants were included in the study. Data were collected from the patients who met the inclusion/exclusion criteria and were entered and analyzed in (SPSS) software version 24.36-Item (SF-36) was used to collect data from participants. Results: The results of the study showed that overall poor quality of life with mean scores physical functioning mean and standard deviationwas 31.13±9.73, role limitations due to physical health mean and standard deviation was 29.33±8.98, role limitations due to emotional problems mean and standard deviation was 22.60±9.31, energy/fatigue mean and standard deviation was 39.51±14.55, general health mean and standard deviation was 17.47±7.35. The goal of the study was to discover the effect of osteoarthritis on standard of living as well as their relationship with eight subscales of sf-36 as many people are not aware about their developed disease and my study will provide information regarding this disease in future. Conclusion: According to the findings of the study, Quality of life is significantly poor in hip osteoarthritis patients. Physical functioning, Role limitations due to physical health, General healthwere the most affected SF-36 subgroups. Associative Field of Ethnonym-Stimulus ‘Teleuts’ in Ethnic Self-Identification Modeling of Bachat Teleuts

The ethnic component, represented in the linguistic consciousness of the teleuts, a small indigenous people living on the territory of the Kemerovo region — Kuzbass, is considered. The associative field, built on the basis of reactions to the ethnonymstimulus ‘teleuts’, was analyzed using partofspeech and attributive methods and the method of associative ethnic portraits proposed by T. A. Ershova. The data obtained supplement the available information of anthropologists, local historians and cultural scientists about the national selfconsciousness of the teleuts. It is proved that the teleuts have a positive ethnic identity. The dominant number of associates for the wordethnonym ‘teleuts’ have a complex of positive additional emotional, evaluative and expressive meanings. For the participants in the experiment, it turned out to be important commonality based on family kinship, reassessment of their ethnic group, the significance and uniqueness of which are the result of not only the presence of a developed system of original customs and traditions, but also its small number. The teleuts define themselves as a small indigenous people living on the territory of the Kemerovo region, whose representatives are carriers of a wide range of positive qualities and their own unique culture. Modeling of the ethnic selfidentification of the Bachat teleuts on the basis of a comparison of associative fields, actualized by the ethnonym and endoethnonyms, seems promising.

Understanding interaction rituals: The impact of interaction ritual chains of the live broadcast on people's wellbeing.

With the global pandemic of COVID-19, it has been striking psychological burdens on individuals. Under this background, more and more people get wellbeing by watching live broadcasts. However, the psychological mechanism behind this phenomenon is still a black box. This study finds that when people watch a live broadcast and interact with anchors and other people, an interaction ritual chain is formed, and emotional energy is generated, thus making people experience and understand the meaning of the live interaction ritual chains. Under the effect of the meaning transfer model, people will generate wellbeing. Specifically, the basic meaning of live interaction (emotional meaning and functional meaning) drives people's generation of wellbeing. The meanings of self-participation, self-display, self-concept, and self-renewal play a role in mediation in enhancing people's wellbeing with the basic meaning of live broadcast interaction.

Twitter sentiment analysis: An Arabic text mining approach based on COVID-19.

The 21st century has seen a lot of innovations, among which included the advancement of social media platforms. These platforms brought about interactions between people and changed how news is transmitted, with people now able to voice their opinion as opposed to before where only the reporters were speaking. Social media has become the most influential source of speech freedom and emotions on their platforms. Anyone can express emotions using social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. The raw data is increasing daily for every culture and field of life, so there is a need to process this raw data to get meaningful information. If any nation or country wants to know their people's needs, there should be mined data showing the actual meaning of the people's emotions. The COVID-19 pandemic came with many problems going beyond the virus itself, as there was mass hysteria and the spread of wrong information on social media. This problem put the whole world into turmoil and research was done to find a way to mitigate the spread of incorrect news. In this research study, we have proposed a model of detecting genuine news related to the COVID-19 pandemic in Arabic Text using sentiment-based data from Twitter for Gulf countries. The proposed sentiment analysis model uses Machine Learning and SMOTE for imbalanced dataset handling. The result showed the people in Gulf countries had a negative sentiment during COVID-19 pandemic. This work was done so government authorities can easily learn directly from people all across the world about the spread of COVID-19 and take appropriate actions in efforts to control it.

Терминологические значения лексики эмоций в «Уставе князя Владимира о десятинах, судах и людях церковных»

The articles considers the processes of terminology formation on the basis of commonly used words by the material of one of the oldest monuments of ancient Russian legislative code "The Charter of Prince Vladimir on Tithes, Courts and Church People". The object of the study is the vocabulary of emotions. By means of component and contextual analysis the author comes to the conclusion that it is causal semantics that provide basis for formation of terminological meaning in the semantic structure of emotives, since the cause or consequence of emotional experience is always something objective – an object, a sign, a process. A semantic shift occurs in the meaning of a language unit when the characteristics of the subject (strashnyj sud, prokljast' / the last judgment, to curse) or the object (obiděti, poobiděti, preobiděti / to offend) change. The ratio of emotive and terminological meanings made it possible to divide the vocabulary of emotions in the "Charter of Prince Vladimir on Tithes, Courts and Church People" into three groups: words used in an emotive meaning; words with a syncretism of emotive and terminological meanings; homonymous terms. The involvement of lexicographic data revealed instability of terminological meanings of emotives in the legal language and their preservation in the church sphere.

The aim of the research is to shed light on the features of linguistic representation of emotion and evaluation in the mass media of Russia and China in a comparative aspect. Scientific novelty of the research lies in involving new factual material for the study of emotivity and evaluativeness in linguistics, as well as in supplementing and clarifying the classification of linguistic means of emotion and evaluation representation. As a result, it has been found that there are certain differences in the means of emotion and evaluation expression in Russian and Chinese electronic mass media texts. The researchers have noted a variety of linguistic means with an emotive-evaluative meaning (“emotion + evaluation”) in the Russian mass media and linguistic means with an emotive meaning (“emotion”) in the Chinese mass media.

Development of the language and linguocolor picture of the world in the adyghe linguoculture

In modern linguistics, topical issues of constructing a linguistic color picture and the functioning of color lexemes in the linguistic picture of the world and, in particular, artistic discourse, are being actively developed. Artistic discourse is understood as a communication system, which is a synthesis of specific linguistic forms, information about reality, reflected in a text that is distinguished by its pragmatic content. The pragmatic level of artistic discourse is represented by an individual set of characteristic linguistic means. The most specific linguistic means are coloronyms that represent evaluative and emotional personal meanings that have a certain influencing potential. Color painting in artistic discourse is the most important expressive means, carries a deeply ideological, artistic, and emotional load. Language units with color semantics or coloronyms contribute not only to the creation of visual images but also carry additional information of emotional and expressive properties. The object of the research is the linguistic units denoting color, functioning in the language, mythopoetics, paremias, and literature in the Adyghe language. The subject of the research is the peculiarities of the manifestation and functioning of color painting in the Adyghe language and Adyghe literature, as well as the identification of the specifics of the coloristic embodiment of images in the works of Adyghe authors. The material of the research is based on the linguistic representations of color designations that form the «black-white-red» triad.

AL-MA’NA AL-MAFHŪMIY WA AT- TARĀBUṬIY FI SYI’RI “AKHBIRNĀ NUKHBIRUKA” LI ṢIRĀJUDDIN MUHAMMAD: DIRĀSAH DILĀLIYYAH ‘INDA GEOFFREY LEECH

This research aims to: (1) describe the conceptual meaning of Jeffrey Leech in Sirajuddin Muhammad's poetry "أخبرنا نخبرك", (2) describe the associative meaning of Siraj Al-Din Muhammad in the poetry "أخبرنا نخبرك" by Siraj Al-Din Muhammad. The type of research in this research is qualitative research. The main data in this research is the poetry "أخبرنا نخبرك" by Sirajuddin Muhammad. The secondary data sources that the researcher used in this research are books, scientific journals and articles that discussed the conceptual and associative meanings of Jeffrey Leech. The method of data collection in this research is the method of reading and recording. The data analysis method was used in this research by data enrichment, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this research indicate that (1) the conceptual meaning of poetry "أخبرنا نخبرك" in three words, (2) the associative meaning of poetry "أخبرنا نخبرك" in twenty-four words and sentences that are divided into five types: six figurative meanings, four stylistic meanings, and ten emotional meanings, the meditative meanings, and the traditional meanings.

EMOTIONAL UNITS IN ABAY WORLD ASSESSMENT

The article for the first time offers the linguistic analysis of evaluative-significant judgments that deeply investigated and evaluated the personality, works, and creativity of the great poet Abai Kunanbaev. The scientific claims of native and foreign scientists about Abai are taken as an object of the analysis. The structure of the texts of statements consists of evaluative-significant sentences that describe the emotional state. Consequently, in the process of research, the specifics of linguistic consciousness and the national worldview of scientific judgments are considered. The cognitive character, pragmatic relations, stylistic coloring, lexical and semantic features of worlds, and communicative functions of function words that acquire emotional meaning are analyzed in this linguistic analysis. To trace the difference between the national worldview and linguistic consciousness, the table presents the words that have the main emotional meaning and expressive connotation in the texts of judgments of native and foreign scientists. The results of the study showed the need for a broad study of evaluatively significant sentences as indicators of national values and national cultures.

Graphic design as an indicator of social transformations

Objective:The aim of the article involved the empirical study of the correlation bet ween the use of graphic design and the perception of social transformations in society. Methodology:Survey, testing, socio-psychological adaptation diagnostics private semantic differentiations, EPA (Evaluation -Potency -Activity) Scale were used in the research. Statistical calculations were performed through factor analysis, Mann-Whitney U test and Pearson correlation coefficient. The expert group selected 5 social advertisementitems out of 40 samples. According to experts, these samples meet the criteria of professional artistic performance and include strong emotional meanings. Samples selected by the expert group were used as stimulus material. Results:There is a division ofprovocative advertisement and non-provocative advertisement on the basis of artistic form and nature of the information message. The data obtained testify that the design of social advertisement is an indicator of social change in society. Graphic design is able to influence the mood and shape the worldview perception of the advertising product. Graphic design help to study the respondents’ readiness for the introduction of a particular narrative into the discourse, that is for shaping public opinion.

Srovnání vybraných typů jazykových prostředků v překladech ideonym

The text focuses on selected types of intensifying adjectives used in the titles of foreign films in the Czech-, Slovak- and Polish-language environment. It compares approaches of the translators, which consist either in translations of foreign-language intensifiers, or in addition of target-language intensifiers to the original neutral titles. The author monitors semantic changes of titles that occur in the process of translation, and the new expressive features that the titles acquire with intensifiers. In this sense, the text focuses on positive and negative connotations and in the case of some emotional means it distinguishes their shades of meaning. One of the partial goals is also to compare generally the approach of Czech, Slovak and Polish film distribution to the use or substitution of intensifying language means in foreign film titles.

Food insecurity and changes in social citizenship. A comparative study of Rome, Barcelona and Athens

ABSTRACT Food insecurity is a pressing issue not only in low-income countries and rural areas, but also in affluent societies and major cities all around the world. Inequality related to access to food has, thus, become one of the main challenges to the social inclusion model based on social citizenship that is a characteristic feature of European societies. Starting from the multidimensional nature of food security, access to food is considered a necessary entitlement to make social citizenship effective, but this is not guaranteed in European societies. This contribution sets out to analyse the social inclusion/exclusion processes related to the status of food deprivation. This outcome is assessed in terms of social citizenship initiatives’ ability to stimulate a demand for institutional change, in a more inclusive direction. This aim is achieved through a comparative analysis of three different case studies of social citizenship initiatives, in three major cities of Southern Europe: Rome, Barcelona and Athens. Since food is not only a means of survival, but also holds multiple emotional, cultural and social meanings, this article shows – under what conditions – people, participating in social citizenship initiatives, can get social recognition and autonomy which can lead to reconnecting food and effective citizenship.

Social Intelligence, Self-Efficacy, and Stress-Coping Styles as Predictors of Emotional Intelligence in Nursing Students: A Descriptive Study

This study aims to determine the level of emotional intelligence, social intelligence, self-efficacy, and stress-coping strategies in nursing students, as well as investigate the relationship of emotional intelligence with these variables. The study design was a descriptive relational type. Data were collected from 322 students recruited from one nursing faculty and one faculty of health sciences.
