Examining the Influence of Atmospheric Cues on Online Impulse Buying Behavior across Product Categories: Insights from an Emerging E-Market

The rapid emergence of the online retail platform has captured a significant share of the overall retail market around the globe. Furthermore, many consumers now indulge in online impulse buying via E-commerce and other digital technologies. This study has aimed to understand such online impulse buying behavior among millennials across various product categories. Data were collected from a convenience sample of 335 of these younger consumers in an emerging South Asian market. Confirmatory factor analysis and structural models were used to analyze the data. The findings indicate that the level of influence of atmospheric cues on online impulse buying differs among product categories, which could be applied in target marketing for internet commerce. Limitations of this study are also acknowledged, along with a discussion on potential avenues for future research.

Results: These issues involve economic productivity, intellectual property rights, privacy protection, and affordability of and access to information, among other concerns. Conclusion: This letter describes the various economic impacts and influences that have been created by e-commerce.

Electronic commerce as an introduction to the transformation of the knowledge economy – A field study on small projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia –: التجارة الإلكترونية كمدخل للتحول لاقتصاد المعرفة - دراسة ميدانية على المشاريع الصغيرة بالمملكة العربية السعودية -

The study aimed to identify a shift from an oil economy to a knowledge economy by using electronic commerce for small projects, which is what the vision of the Kingdom 2030 seeks. However, small projects suffer from the inability to market in a way that allows them to succeed and advance the national economy, and to enter into global competition. The study was prepared to clarify the role of e-commerce for small enterprises in this transformation. The study relied on the descriptive-analytical approach and the distribution of a questionnaire to collect primary data and statistically analyze it, in which some of the statistical methods used in the SPSS program were used. The study concluded that electronic commerce is able to achieve marketing opportunities for small projects, and that small projects need to re-engineer their marketing operations (especially the marketing mix) in order to be able to apply electronic commerce, and indicated that electronic commerce is able to transform into a knowledge economy. A set of recommendations was proposed to activate e-commerce for small projects, including providing financial support, attention to bringing and training skilled workers trained in the proper application of e-commerce technology, re-engineering the marketing mix in a manner that allows the proper application of electronic commerce.

ANALISIS STRATEGI PENDAYAGUNAAN ZAKAT PRODUKTIF (STUDI KASUS LAZ NURUL HAYAT)

This study aims to analyze the strategy of utilizing productive zakat in the Zakat Institution of Nurul Hayat. Every zakat institution needs an appropriate and efficient strategy in managing zakat funds so that every mustahiq can be transformed into muzakki. This study uses a qualitative approach with case study research methods. The technique of collecting data uses direct interviews, documentation and observation. To analyze the data, this paper uses the SWOT Matrix and then uses QSPM to identify a new strategy. Then to find out the validity of the data, researchers used triangulation techniques by matching the findings of primary data and secondary data. The results obtained that through the SWOT analysis obtained four strategies and through the QSPM analysis the following results are obtained: SO strategy, namely the expansion of the program in collaboration with Dukcapil/Depkop to reach mustahiq who are entitled to power through zakat has a score of 3,735; WO's strategy is to form an R&D division with a score of 6.085; The ST strategy of introducing digital e-commerce technology to Mustahiq has a score of 6.085; The WT strategy of selecting mustahiq has a score of 2.715 Keywords: LAZ, Zakat, SWOT, QSPM

ONLINE AUCTION AS A MARKETING TOOL OF USED CAR SALES STIMULATION

The article explores the essence of online auction as an environment for the promotion of goods through e-commerce technology, which is rapidly developing and changing. The aim of the article is to study theoretical issues related to the identification of the peculiarities of online auctions functioning to stimulate sales of used cars. The processes occurring in the e-commerce environment are the object of research. The basic principles of the formation of a business model of an online auction are determined, the main types of auctions are considered, namely: standard, Dutch, simultaneous bid auction, auction of closed bid and double auction. The advantages and disadvantages of online auctions during the bidding process are disclosed. The groups of auctions in Ukraine are determined. The process of selling used cars at the auction is investigated and its main stages are described. Based on the experience of the specialized international company "ALD Automotive Ukraine", the activities of an online auction for the sale of used cars are analyzed in the article. The strengths and the weaknesses of using online auctions to drive sales of used cars have been identified. The strengths are the following: the access to complete information, the availability of the most powerful tools for selecting a vehicle according to technical specifications, cost reduction related to the advertising campaign, full automation of the process of servicing potential customers, the support of customer feedback, quick informing of the partners and customers about new services, the lack of corruption schemes, after-sales support and resolving contentious issues, etc. The weaknesses are the following: frequent lack of opportunity for the buyer to inspect the car personally, possible long-term delivery of goods, etc.

Research status of automation of logistics transport and distribution processes

An analysis of the performance of modern companies has revealed a trend of active investment in innovation, especially in such a dynamic field as logistics in order to optimize supply chains. The article proves the need for a systematic approach to innovative measures in the transportation and distribution system based on the analysis of foreign experience. The dynamism of logistics processes complicates the process of control and forecasting of enterprises. The logistics trend of DHL, which regularly publishes a key tool for the global logistics community, is a radar of logistics trends that reflects the development of society, business and technology. Two major trends are analyzed: 1) social and business and 2) technological. To solve this problem, the process of digitization and the willingness of companies to work online with the help of e-commerce technology have been proposed. Two components of modern innovative business models that enable a business to be competitive and efficient are analyzed: the sharing economy and the marketplace in the logistics services market. It is determined that the main resources in logistics are material assets (especially warehouses and vehicles), labor and time. It is established that transport exchanges are actively developing in the Ukrainian market, where logisticians can choose vehicles, but there are no sites where one can simply choose a warehouse on demand (as a service). There are no tools in the Ukrainian market for quick search and safe rent of warehouses for different types of products. Searching for a warehouse is a complicated and lengthy procedure for the following reasons: the lack of a warehouse database in one source and the complexity of comparing warehouses (search on OLX.ua or through a local or international broker, or on the recommendation of acquaintances), the risks of renting warehouses from unverified agents / owners, the procedure for selecting and concluding warehouse lease agreements, the need for warehouses under peak load, continued. Therefore, in 2019, a new Ware Teka online platform has emerged for finding warehouses for rent or purchase with the largest warehouse real estate base to date, allowing real estate to be rented as soon as possible. The basic features of the Ware Teka online platform are analyzed. It is determined that modern logistics companies in Ukraine have started to implement the system of routing of goods (delivery on points of sale) and receive constant errors, therefore the process of digitization of current deliveries in real time is offered. The Ukrainian market for foreign startups is not interesting for today, and they are not ready to costomize, or costomization will have a very high cost and it is necessary to consider the issues of support after adaptation of the ready solution, to make a premature request about the main problems of adaptation of software products of automation of logistics processes. Support is an important cycle in working with your ISP to be able to refine or modify the software in the future and not be dependent on your provider, so you need to request technical documentation immediately. The importance of automation of logistic processes of transportation and distribution has been proved.

Predicting Student Performance in Higher Educational Institutions Using Video Learning Analytics and Data Mining Techniques

Technology and innovation empower higher educational institutions (HEI) to use different types of learning systems—video learning is one such system. Analyzing the footprints left behind from these online interactions is useful for understanding the effectiveness of this kind of learning. Video-based learning with flipped teaching can help improve student’s academic performance. This study was carried out with 772 examples of students registered in e-commerce and e-commerce technologies modules at an HEI. The study aimed to predict student’s overall performance at the end of the semester using video learning analytics and data mining techniques. Data from the student information system, learning management system and mobile applications were analyzed using eight different classification algorithms. Furthermore, data transformation and preprocessing techniques were carried out to reduce the features. Moreover, genetic search and principle component analysis were carried out to further reduce the features. Additionally, the CN2 Rule Inducer and multivariate projection can be used to assist faculty in interpreting the rules to gain insights into student interactions. The results showed that Random Forest accurately predicted successful students at the end of the class with an accuracy of 88.3% with an equal width and information gain ratio.

The relationship between performance and user perception, fostering new formats and innovative public service models and promoting the transformation of the catering operation model.

This paper describes the benefits of e-commerce applications with cloud computing technology in SMEs. As well as providing an understanding of cloud computing itself, starting from the understanding, characteristics, and cloud computing services. A Conceptual Framework for the Acceptance of E-Commerce Technologies among Organizations in Developing Countries

The presented study examines e-commerce technologies a new conceptual framework of the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology among small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in developing countries.Aim. The study aims to identify factors for the implementation and acceptance of e-commerce among small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in developing countries.Tasks. The authors utilize tools of G. Hofstede’s cultural dimensions theory to describe the emotional attitude of an individual to the use of technology.Methods. This study examines various aspects of the method of the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT), which is implemented in many studies of behavioral intentions of individuals in the adoption of new technologies.Results. For the first time, a conceptual (predictive) model based on four moderating variables is proposed. The variables include such cultural dimension parameters as power distance index (PDI), individualism/collectivism (IDV), uncertainty avoidance (UAI), and long-term/short-term orientation (LTO). These moderators boost the effect of the basic constructs on the behavioral propensity for the use and application of technologies.Conclusions. Based on the considered conceptual framework, the authors propose a number of recommendations for the development of tools that would ensure the required level of employee engagement in the acceptance and use of e-commerce technologies among small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in developing countries. Another promising direction involves using the tools of G. Hofstede’s cultural dimensions theory to examine the specific aspects of the acceptance and use of information technology among organizations belonging to different national business cultures.

Because the use of the internet is currently the most popular used by many people, in addition to being things that can be categorized as things that are 'booming'. So our thoughts should not only be fixed on the use of internet media. Engagement with chatbots versus augmented reality interactive technology in e-commerce

ABSTRACT As competition intensifies in the retail industry organizations are increasingly turning to forms of artificial intelligence as a means of differentiation. E-commerce companies are moving towards integrating technologies such as chatbots and augmented reality interactive technology which have proved to be popular solutions to customer service in the practitioner domain. However, little is known about consumers’ attitude and engagement with these emerging technologies when used in a retail environment. A theory-based research model which was designed to uncover the motivational mechanisms needed to provide engagement and effective decision-making processes in this context. Empirical testing conducted with a field study supported the proposed model.

PENGARUH KONDISI SOSIAL TERHADAP PERILAKU PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN “PEREMPUAN” PEMILIK UMKM JAWA TIMUR UNTUK MENGADOPSI E-COMMERCE

Recent competition in the economy is dominated by companies that are able to implement the right technology into their business. E-commerce technology provides many conveniences for business people, including women as owners of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in East Java. Women are very potential and competent as actors and managers of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME). The purpose of this study is to determine the social conditions that influence the decision-making of these women as owners of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adopt e-commerce. This study was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods. The sample consisted of 41 women as owners of MSME in East Java. Data were analyzed using percentages. Understanding Country Level Adoption of E-Commerce

This paper provides a theoretically grounded model of e-commerce adoption to explain differences in adoption rates among countries. The model extends the existing culture-policy-technology (CPT) framework to examine causal relationships between the technological, institutional, and cultural factors in order to examine country-level e-commerce adoption. Thus, interesting relationships among macro-level factors are hypothesized. The paper highlights the important of risk mitigating mechanisms or institutions to facilitate adoption of e-commerce in countries with high uncertainty avoidance. A call for empirical examination into country level adoption is answered by analyzing macro level data from 69 countries. The hypotheses are confirmed using PLS analytical procedures. The study is timely as e-commerce technology has now taken hold in several countries but its revenues in proportion to the overall total revenues remain low. The study is motivated by significant different in e-commerce adoption rates among countries. The paper makes significant contributions to literature and practice.

How do Legislations, Regulations, Policies and Cases Influence the Security in E-Commerce?

As e-business becomes part of a majority of people's everyday life that appears to be risk-adverse, protection becomes crucially important (E-Commerce & Growth Study 2003). Internet security problems take several forms: spam, malware, site squatting, piracy, copyright infringement, denial of service, unauthorized intrusion into corporate or personal computers and networks (theft or misuse of the information stored therein), infringements of privacy, abuse and harassment. The following topics will be discussed for the purpose of this study: e-commerce laws, computer crimes, e-privacy and authentication & encryption. It is proposed that these three (3) principles are examined in order to tackle security and safety in e-commerce. These principles are derived from the review of all the legislations, cases, guidelines, policies and regulations in this paper. All these principles are complementary to each other. Self-regulation, Ethics, Enforcement. Security and safety will remain the most vital issues in electronic commerce that will continue to be discussed, examined and addressed. Actions will be continue to be taken by the society to create new laws, technology, methods and processes to increase security and safety in the cyberspace as e-commerce technologies grow. One must not be deterred from electronic commerce just because of these issues. There will always be a downside for everything including electronic commerce. Business growth from this new method of doing business is very lucrative to be abandoned.

Impact on E-Commerce Adoption on Entrepreneurial Orientation and Market Orientation in Business Performance of SMEs

In the industrial ERA 4.0, changes digitally and physically are inevitable, as well as for small to medium enterprise (SMEs). The majority of SMEs in Jambi Province have not conducted digital technology as a marketing strategy for the expansion of its market share. The purpose of this research are: (1) analyzing the impact of entrepreneurial orientation on SME business performance, (2) analyzing the influence of market orientation with the e-commerce adoption towards SMES’s business Performance (3). interpreting the e-commerce adoption and market orientation impact to SME’s business performance. The research design uses the Mix method of qualitative and quantitative. The data is collected by primary and secondary data. The data analysis techniques uses Structural Equation Model (SEM) and ran by SmartPLS3 program. Samples of this study consist of 250 SMEs who have already used digital e-commerce technology in Jambi Province. The result of data processing indicates there is a significant influence between entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation and e-commerce adoption to SME’s business performance in Jambi Provinces. We believe that entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation and e-commerce adoption model in this study will have both managerial and academic positive implication. This study will have managerial implication for practitioners in Indonesia and other countries. Academic implications is also need for researcher who are interested in increasing SME’s business performance in term of e-commerce adoption.
