The Exploration of High-Quality Development Pathways for Graduate Course Teaching in Local Universities

In the context of high-quality development in the new era, graduate education at local universities bears the important responsibility of cultivating high-level innovative talents. However, current graduate course teaching faces several challenges, including insufficient integration of ideological and political education, incomplete implementation of teaching reforms, and slow progress in smart education development. This paper systematically analyzes the current status and challenges of graduate course teaching at local universities and proposes a series of pathways to enhance teaching quality. Specifically, the paper recommends strengthening the integration of ideological and political education, deepening teaching reforms, and promoting the effective integration of smart education. The goal is to provide a reference for local universities to cultivate compound talents who possess both professional competence and innovative capabilities, as well as a strong sense of social responsibility.

With the development of smart education, gaining insights into students' understanding during the learning process is crucial in teaching. However, traditional knowledge tracking methods face challenges in capturing the intricate relationships between problems and knowledge points, as well as students' temporal learning changes. Therefore, we design a knowledge tracking model based on a graph temporal fusion network. Firstly, we construct the structure of the question and knowledge skill graph. Then, we design a knowledge graph encoder layer to capture the complex relationships between questions and knowledge skills. Next, we apply a sequential information extraction layer to dynamically model the outputs of each layer in the upper network over time, capturing students' knowledge changes at different time steps. Finally, we use a dynamic attention aggregation network to learn node information at different levels and time sequences. Experimental results on three datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of our method.

Intelligent Analysis System for Teaching and Learning Cognitive Engagement Based on Computer Vision in an Immersive Virtual Reality Environment

The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 14th Five Year Plan for Education Informatization focus on digital technology and intelligent learning and implement innovation-driven education environment reform. An immersive virtual reality (IVR) environment has both immersive and interactive characteristics, which are an important way of virtual learning and are also one of the important ways in which to promote the development of smart education. Based on the above background, this article proposes an intelligent analysis system for Teaching and Learning Cognitive engagement in an IVR environment based on computer vision. By automatically analyzing the cognitive investment of students in the IVR environment, it is possible to better understand their learning status, provide personalized guidance to improve learning quality, and thereby promote the development of smart education. This system uses Vue (developed by Evan You, located in Wuxi, China) and ECharts (Developed by Baidu, located in Beijing, China) for visual display, and the algorithm uses the Pytorch framework (Developed by Facebook, located in Silicon Valley, CA, USA), YOLOv5 (Developed by Ultralytics, located in Washington, DC, USA), and the CRNN model (Convolutional Recurrent Neural Network) to monitor and analyze the visual attention and behavioral actions of students. Through this system, a more accurate analysis of learners’ cognitive states and personalized teaching support can be provided for the education field, providing certain technical support for the development of smart education.

Evaluation and Empirical Research on Teachers’ Information Literacy in the Context of Smart Education

The development of smart education has led to the integration of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence with education. It is a prerequisite for teachers to have high information literacy for conducting education and teaching work. This study conducted a questionnaire survey on 412 teachers in a certain area. The results showed that teachers’ information literacy is above the middle level, and there are significant differences in information literacy between teaching experience and educational background. The evaluation showed that information ethics, information awareness, and information application have a significant positive impact on professional development, and information knowledge and information awareness have a positive predictive effect on information ethics.

Vocational Education Metaverse: Research Status, Existing Problems, and Development Strategies

The digital strategic action has promoted the high-quality development of vocational education. As an important measure for the digital transformation of vocational education, the application and development of educational metaverse are related to the deep transformation of vocational education and the overall development of smart education. This study first reviews the current research status of the educational metaverse in vocational education from the aspects of technological development, application status, and implementation effects. Secondly, it points out the current practical problems in vocational education metaverse from the perspectives of infrastructure, technical standards system, practical training teaching model, and ethical risks. Finally, it proposes targeted improvements from the following four aspects: first, improve the infrastructure of vocational education metaverse; second, accelerate the establishment of technical standards for vocational education metaverse; explore teaching models and systems of vocational education metaverse; fourth, effectively prevent ethical risks of vocational education metaverse.

ҚАЗАҚСТАННЫҢ ЦИФРЛЫҚ БІЛІМ БЕРУ ОРТАСЫНДА SMART ТЕХНОЛОГИЯЛАРДЫҢ ДАМУЫ

The aim of the study is to analyze the research of Kazakhstani and foreign scientists on the develop-ment of SMART education and its digital transformation in Kazakhstan. The article analyzes the most informative scientific articles of Kazakhstani and foreign scientists devoted to the study of the state, practical application and further use of SMART technology both in the Republic of Kazakhstan in general and in the country’s education system. The study examines and analyzes reliable academic databases such as Google Scholar, ERIC, Web of Science and SCOPUS, as well as relevant literature using govern-ment documents and materials from international conferences to study the main issues of digitalization in Kazakhstan. Mainly, the depth of publications for the past 5 years is taken. Based on the study of these works, the authors came to the conclusion that new digital technologies began to be actively introduced in Kazakhstan since 2018, after the adoption of the state program “Digital Kazakhstan” in December 2017. However, to date, Kazakhstan continues to lag behind many leading countries in the world in the implementation and application of new digital technologies. This allowed the authors to offer a number of recommendations that can significantly speed up this process and become one of the leading states in the digital era. The recommendations presented can help students, teachers and stakeholders effectively integrate digital technologies into the education system. The authors focused on expanding the use of SMART technology in the education system of Kazakhstan.

Development of Smart Technologies in Education in the Context of Modern Neuroscience and the War in Ukraine

The article examines the problem of interdependence of post-industrial society and the level of education based on the study of scientific and periodical sources. The meaning of the concept of "smart education" is clarified, its main elements are described. Studying the development of smart education in different regions of the world, conclusions are made about the impact of economic inequality and objective negative processes such as war. On the other hand, if previously weaker states involved the elements of intelligent education at a slow pace, today the acceleration of this pace is dictated by the objective world situation. The topicality of the topic is confirmed by the global focus on education problems, since today the crisis demonstrated the practically underdeveloped mechanism of smart education in all countries, which in difficult conditions was the most unbalanced, and in some regions was absent at all. The practical significance of the article is that the conclusions about the application of neuroscientific analysis of smart technologies, especially foreign ones, can be used in the smart concept of our country.

The purpose of the study is to conceptualize the impact of digital technologies on the development of smart education in a technologically advanced society. The model of adaptation of technologies to the education system is analyzed and the problems that arise in this process are identified. The essence and directions of digital education development as a factor in the development of smart education are revealed. The possibilities of using Facebook, Twitter, robotic platforms in the intelligent educational system, their tasks and objectives are shown. The object of the research is the development of smart education in a technologically advanced society. The subject of the study is the impact of digital technologies on the development of smart education in a technologically advanced society. The impact of digital technologies on the development of smart education in a technologically advanced society allows for cognitive mediation with students. Using digital technologies for interactive learning, students acquire new knowledge, deepen their education, develop creativity, become socially responsible citizens of the digital society, and form digital culture and thinking.

A scoping review of BCIs for learning regulation in mainstream educational contexts

ABSTRACT A brain–computer interface (BCI) bridges brain and computer activities through the computer engineering technique of capturing and analysing a person’s biological and neurological response signals. This article reviews 37 empirical studies published in the past five years regarding the application of BCIs in mainstream education contexts for students’ learning regulation. The characteristics of the research methodology, technologies, targeted application scenarios and main outcomes of the reviewed studies are presented in detail and summarised. The results show that most of the research in this area has concentrated on the effects of neurofeedback on the learning regulation process, optimising data-processing algorithms, developing criteria, and designing BCI-based instructional environments. Neurofeedback- and biofeedback-based BCI approaches can help to monitor learning states and have positive effects on learning regulation. The paper also discusses the future development of BCIs as an effective technique for learning analysis and regulation, and it proposes a prototype of neurofeedback- and biofeedback-based BCI learning regulation systems and their application scenarios. By highlighting the current applications and possible future trends of the use of BCIs in mainstream education and identifying the challenges involved, this review can guide the development of smart education in the age of artificial intelligence.

Smart Classroom Model of College English in the Context of Big Data

The formation of intelligent classroom education mode is a new education mode under the background of Internet development, which breaks the time and space limitations of traditional education and enables students to consult knowledge at any time through the Internet. The establishment of smart classroom strengthens the interaction between teachers and students, integrates various educational functions, improves the efficiency of classroom teaching, and urges students to develop their independent learning ability, which is the main achievement of the current development of smart education. This paper explores the establishment of college English classes under the development of the Internet in the new era. Through the combination of online and offline education, it can improve the efficiency of classroom teaching and provide a development direction for educational reform.

How data knowledge transformation affects teachers' precision teaching ability: The mediating effect of data consciousness.

With the development of smart education, teachers' precision teaching ability has increasingly become an important component of their professional ability. Based on the Socialization, Externalization, Combination, Internalization (SECI) model of knowledge management, this research constructs a theoretical model of data knowledge transformation, data consciousness, and teachers' precision teaching ability, and uses Partial Least Squares to analyze the interaction and influence among the elements. The empirical results show that the transformation of internal knowledge related to data has a significant positive impact on the improvement of teachers' precision teaching ability and data consciousness; the transformation of external knowledge related to teaching has a positive effect on the teaching management ability of teachers' precision teaching ability, but the effect is not significant. Data consciousness plays a partial mediating effect between internal knowledge transformation and teachers' precision teaching ability, and a complete mediating effect between external knowledge transformation and teaching management ability.

University Network Education and School-Based Platform Based on Smart Campus Data Platform Architecture

With the vigorous development of college informatization construction, many colleges and universities have established and applied digital campus platforms. The main research of this paper is the construction and application of the school-based platform of university network education based on smart campus data platform architecture. This article conducts interviews and classroom observations with teachers of different teaching ages. The construction of school-based curriculum system is reflected in the text as the school’s curriculum plan. The average test score of the experimental class is 7.94 points higher than the average score of the control class, which shows that the test score of the experimental class is higher than that of the control class. The experimental data show that the school-based platform of college network education based on the smart campus data platform architecture can effectively improve the learning effect of students, and popularizing it in the construction of the existing school-based network education platform can promote the in-depth development of smart education.

Perspectives and commitments of smart education in Russia

The challenges of modern world are not only numerous, but also diverse – from a positive impact on the development of society to clearly unfriendly attacks in the economy, politics, science and education. Positive trends are associated with the smart education development, a new cognitive sphere that involves complex communication of all participants in the educational process in order to continuously improve the methods and technologies of the knowledge economy. In the digital paradigm of social development management, the knowledge sources are not only various formats (digital and paper) of textbooks, manuals and other, but also a close creative union between a teacher and a student, which allows not to get lost in the endless expanses of the Internet. The article highlights the trends in the domestic and foreign authors’ studying problems and prospects for the development of smart education. A mechanism for transforming the established methods of vocational training in Russian universities into a new concept of smart education is proposed. The principles of digital education format are formulated. The article content is determined by the methodology for the knowledge economy development: the basic principles of smart education and conceptually important methods for educational process organising. The studies of professors A.A. Bubenchikov, V.V. Glukhov, M.K. Novikov, V.P. Tikhomirov, etc., facilitated the idea of a prospective smart university concept development. The article is based on scientific research methods such as: comparison, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, historical and logical methods, positive and normative analysis, and the method of scientific logic.

Mapping Knowledge Domain Analysis in Smart Education Research

Smart education is considered an inevitable choice and an important educational trend development in the Information Age. Smart education development can promote learning opportunities to master high-quality education and lifelong learning. It vigorously promotes sustainable development. A bibliometric analysis was performed to better understand smart education research field knowledge structures and help researchers understand smart education research field characteristics. VOSviewer and CiteSpace were used to analyze 2358 Web of Science core collection articles related to smart education. The articles were dated 2000–2021. This study visually presents a systematic overview of smart education literature research, including the publication outputs, main categories, most influential countries, organizations, journals, and authors, important documents, and research academic trends. Using a series of cooperation analyses, this paper looked at research cooperation among countries and regions, organizations, and authors to build a smart education knowledge structure map. A smart education theoretical framework was proposed based on the literature review. A bibliometric analysis of the existing research results provided useful and innovative suggestions for researchers and practitioners in the field of smart education.

Generation Smart Education Learning Process of Blockchain-Based in Universities

Creative class as a factor of human capital improvement in the context of smart education development

The relevance of the research topic is that in modern society there are systemic and profound changes that affect all spheres of society and serve as driving forces that generate new megatrends of creativity. The changes are caused by a profound transformation, points of radical technological breakdowns and their social impact, which indicate that man began to live in a completely different world. This means that a person must adapt and develop in all areas of activity - education, culture, tourism, business, and personally in professional life to enter the market with innovative and breakthrough ideas. The purpose of the study is to conceptualize the creative class as a factor in improving human capital in the context of the development of smart education. The objectives of the study: 1) to clarify the essence and characteristics of the creative class as a factor in improving human capital; 2) to identify the development of smart education as a factor in the formation of the creative class; 3) substantiate the concept of human capital, resources, potential as characteristics of the creative personality and creative class; 4) to determine the directions of formation of algorithmic thinking and personality culture as factors of human capital improvement in the context of smart education development. Research methodology. A synergetic methodology is used, which is used for the analysis of human capital as creative-innovative, which interacts nonlinearly, is considered in conditions of instability, requires its choice at bifurcation points and is based on self-organization. The use of theories of self-organization of complex systems and dissipative structures makes it possible to imagine the phenomenon of human capital as a nonlinear and multivariate process that takes place in various forms. Nonlinearity emphasizes the recognition of multivariate and probabilistic developments. The result of the study. The conceptualization of the formed "creative class" as the main concept of smart education, its main categories in the measurement of human capital is presented. It is concluded that society should bring economic development in line with the development of smart education, which depends on creative potential, as well as accelerate this process towards the development of smart technologies, smart culture, smart people as factors of intellectual progress

БАРЬЕРЫ В РАЗВИТИИ УМНОГО ОБРАЗОВАНИЯ (SMART EDUCATION): СПЕЦИФИКА СОЦИОКУЛЬТУРНОЙ СРЕДЫ РОССИИ

Smart Education is the most advanced stage of the evolution in education associated with new information and communication technologies. The world is forming a new technical and technological reality. Digital media technologies (smartphones, wi-fi connections) penetrate into open spaces of cities and towns (parks, gardens, etc.). Modernity dictates the need for a person to acquire such knowledge and skills that should allow him not only working effectively, but also spending his free time productively. This situation is not entirely new, but it makes researchers find solutions for further implementation of smart technologies in the education system in order to search for the most appropriate answers to this challenge. Russia needs to accelerate the transition to education of the future, which involves the modernization of all educational processes. The presented research touches upon the issue of the development of Smart Education in Russia. The paper reveals the current state and identifies the key barriers in the development of smart education in the world. The empirical basis of the work is a sociological survey conducted in March-June 2018. The survey used the technique of semi-formalized interviews with representatives of five groups of stakeholders: government officials, heads of organizations, teachers, students and researchers. The educational system of Tomsk (Russia) affects the interests of all above mentioned stakeholders. The survey was aimed at the determination of the role of Smart technologies in education, their importance, barriers and prospects of implementation. The article presents the results of a sociological study that revealed the position of stakeholders in relation to various aspects of the socio-cultural environment that has an impact on the formation of smart education in Russia. The evaluation of the results of the implementation of smart city and smart education projects in Europe, America and Asia shows the presence of private success, which has not led to the formation of unambiguously positive examples of their implementation. Synergy, which unites the efforts of many participants of these projects, has not yet led to the realization of the ultimate goal – significant indicators in improving the quality of life of citizens. The comparative analysis of barriers to further development of smart education identified in the studies of foreign authors with the assessment of Russian stakeholders shows the existence of significant differences between them. The introduction of smart technologies in the life of Russian society is catching up. This leads to a rather superficial nature of acquaintance of Russian society of smart education and a lack of reflection on the barriers to its implementation.
