Research on closed-loop quality continuous improvement system of “internet of things perception technology”

“Internet of Things Perception Technology” is a professional core course in the Internet of Things engineering department. It has many knowledge points, complex content. Therefore, Teaching is difficult. This paper studies the closed-loop quality continuous improvement system of “Internet of Things Perception Technology”, including course objectives, course content, student analysis, teaching methods, scores evaluation, evaluation analysis, improvement measures and revised course goals. This closed-loop quality continuous improvement system not only improves the comprehensive ability of students, but also has strong promotion value.

Regulatory and Institutional Support of Public Administration in the Field of Physical culture and Sport in Ukraine

The author notes the importance of planning, policy measures and development strategies for the development of physical culture and sports. A large number of current regulatory documents, which reflect the attentive attitude of public authorities to the development and improvement of this area, is indicated. The structural components of the legal administration system in the field of physical culture and sports are characterized. The interpretation of sports legal relations is presented. Specific features of sports legal relations are noted. The main forms of state support for physical culture and sports are also identified. The contribution of local authorities of Ukraine in the implementation of state policy in the field of physical culture and sports is considered. The ambiguity of the legal regulation of the development of physical culture and sports is noted. The need to understand and distinguish between the field of physical culture and professional sports is emphasized. The state regulation of standardization in the researched sphere is considered. The absence of the term “standard” in relation to service quality management in organizations is indicated. The normative-legal acts, which partially determine the evaluation criteria in the field of physical culture and sports, are distinguished. The advantages of implementing a quality management system are indicated. The adopted Standards, the effect of which extends to the field of physical culture and sports, are considered. The principles of quality management system activity are presented and characterized: customer orientation, leadership, employee involvement, process approach, system approach to management, continuous improvement, decision-making based on facts, mutually beneficial relations with suppliers. The main problems and risks in the process of system implementation are noted. Emphasis is placed on the peculiarities of the implementation of the quality management system at the level of local self-government. The requirements for the preparation of mandatory documentation are listed and described. The content of the implementation plan is noted. Emphasis is placed on the expediency of determining senior management and officials on specific examples. The need for local government administration to systematically confirm its compliance with the quality management system has been identified. Requirements to representatives of higher governing bodies are defined. The impossibility of the self-government body to satisfy the requirements of all clients within the framework of the legislation and the approved budget is emphasized. The key task of senior management is described. The components of an important triple task of senior management in the context of implementation, operation and continuous improvement of the quality management system are listed. The importance of emphasizing the consolidation at the state level of tests and standards for assessing the physical fitness of the people of Ukraine was emphasized.

GPS Path Tracking Control of Military Unmanned Vehicle Based on Preview Variable Universe Fuzzy Sliding Mode Control

In the process of the continuous development and improvement of modern military systems, military unmanned vehicles play an important role in field reconnaissance and strategic deployment. In this paper, the precise tracking algorithm of a military unmanned vehicle, based on GPS navigation, is studied. Firstly, the optimal preview point is obtained according to the data points of a differential GPS signal. Secondly, the pure tracking algorithm is used to calculate the demand steering angle, and a variable universe fuzzy sliding mode controller is designed to control the lateral motion of the vehicle, which is verified by the joint simulation platform of Simulink and CarSim, under multiple working conditions. Finally, the actual vehicle is verified by using the Autobox platform. The results show that the lateral motion control of path tracking designed in this paper can achieve an accurate and effective control effect, and has real-time performance for engineering applications.

An Application for Measuring and Analyzing the Level of Performance Accuracy for Health Services Quality Indicators by Using Six-Sigma: A Study Case of Government Hospitals in Khartoum State.

The study aimed at acknowledging the Six Sigma methodology and the existence of the essential components for the application, as well as reducing the time for completing the operations, reducing the error rate to the lowest possible level, and improving the quality of operations. For this objective, the analytical descriptive methodology was used on a sample consisted of 300 administrative and medical staff from Khartoum State Hospitals (Khartoum, Omdurman, Bahri). To this end, a questionnaire was used for collecting data and for analyzing it and achieving the results of the study by using the statistical analysis package (SPSS). The study deduced a number of results, the most important of which are that the items of commitment and supreme command support for the senior leadership and the methods of abundant human resources on quality control, and the application of the Six Sigma methodology in government hospitals in Khartoum state achieved a satisfactory level, while continuous improvement paragraphs, processes, and systems on quality control and the application of Six Sigma methodology achieved high quality. There is a significant effect on the extent of commitment and support of the higher leadership on quality control and the application of the Six Sigma methodology. Similarly, there is a statistically significant effect on the application of continuous improvement methods on quality control and Six Sigma methodology. Also, there is a statistically significant effect on the application of the abundance of human resources methods variable on quality control and the application of Six Sigma methodology in governmental hospitals in Khartoum state. The study recommended to take interest in the Six Sigma methodology and assure the possibility of using it in Khartoum State's hospitals because of its scientific and practical importance in improving the quality of services and provided processes, and the need to provide qualified financial and human resources for using and developing Six Sigma methodology in hospitals, as well as great attention in training and providing departments heads with full knowledge of Six Sigma methodology and the fundamentals on which Six Sigma methodology, is based on its importance for hospitals. The study also recommended associating the promotions system in government hospitals in Khartoum state with the quality control program.

Investigations to characterize the interactions of light radiation, engine operating media and fluorescence tracers for the use of qualitative light-induced fluorescence in engine systems

The light-induced fluorescence (LIF) represents an important tool for the continuous improvement and further development of combustion engine systems regarding efficiency increase. In this work, the interactions between light-emitting diode (LED) and laser diode light radiation, engine oil/fuel and three fluorescence tracers are investigated on an application-related investigation system for the design of qualitative LIF experiments. Thereby two efficient light sources for engine combustion chamber lighting are presented. For different engine oil/fuel tracer combinations, the fluorescence is examined in its intensity and its spectrum depending on the temperature, concentration and temperature history. With oil temperature variations of up to 150 °C, changes in the fluorescence spectrum and fluorescence intensities that decrease by up to 80% are evident. For specific tracer oil/fuel mixtures, concentration-dependent maximum intensities and different temperature history behaviors can be revealed. The results shown support the design of spectral engine examination setups and give tracer dosage recommendations. Additionally, an engine LIF setup for in-cylinder tracking of engine operating media is presented.

Continuous improvement and business sustainability in companies of an emerging market: Empirical analysis

Purpose: The article analyses the impact of continuous improvement (system and teams) on business sustainability dimensions (social, environmental, operational and financial) as a competitive strategy to create value for all stakeholders in emerging economy context.Design/methodology/approach: The data collected is from 120 companies of different sizes and 13 different industrial sectors such as food, energy, health, financial services, and logistics in Colombia. The design of multivariate logistic regression is to identify the critical aspects of the continuous improvement practices that significantly affect the dimensions of business sustainability.Findings: The analysis shows that from continuous improvement aspects (system and teams), employee involvement, human talent maintenance, training, and evaluation accompanied by feedback impact business sustainability. These elements impact financial and operational dimensions significantly but in the environmental and social aspects with less intensity.Research limitations/implications: Research is limited to the general sustainability analysis applying resource-based strategy in Colombia. Practical implications: Generate overall awareness of the importance of the equilibrium of sustainability dimensions in strategic planning and implementation in emerging economies.Originality/value: This work applies an empirical study to establish the impact of continuous improvement (system and teams) on each of the business sustainability dimensions (social, environmental, operational and financial) in companies of emerging economies.

Development of heart attack prediction model based on ensemble learning

With the advent of the data age, the continuous improvement and widespread application of medical information systems have led to an exponential growth of biomedical data, such as medical imaging, electronic medical records, biometric tags, and clinical records that have potential and essential research value. However, medical research based on statistical methods is limited by the class and size of the research community, so it cannot effectively perform data mining for large-scale medical information. At the same time, supervised machine learning techniques can effectively solve this problem. Heart attack is one of the most common diseases and one of the leading causes of death, so finding a system that can accurately and reliably predict early diagnosis is an essential and influential step in treating such diseases. Researchers have used various data mining and machine learning techniques to analyze medical data, helping professionals predict heart disease. This paper presents various features related to heart disease, and the model is based on ensemble learning. The proposed system involves preprocessing data, selecting attributes, and then using logistic regression algorithms as meta-classifiers to build the ensemble learning model. Furthermore, using machine learning algorithms (Support Vector Machines, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Extreme Gradient Boosting) for prediction on the Framingham Heart Study dataset and compared with the proposed methodology. The results show that the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed prediction method based on group learning provide accuracy for medical recommendations and better accuracy than the single traditional machine learning algorithm.

The People Side of Successful Business Transformations

Business transformations are critical to making a giant leap to create an outstanding customer experience and dominate the market. This study explores how companies with different Continuous Improvement Maturities manage the people side of a business transformation, focusing on establishing a Continuous Improvement culture. A semi-structured interview with 28 different companies and 30 interview partners from 21 different industries will explore the People Excellence approach’s differences in People Engagement, People Enablement, and People Empowerment. The study also investigates the different views on Continuous Improvement Systems and their impact on the organization. The focus on people, culture, and Leadership to achieve significant and sustainable business results from companies with a strong Continuous Improvement System will be evident, compared to companies with no structured Continuous Improvement System or a fragile Continuous Improvement System.

The Application of Continuous Improvement (CI) Methodology in Small-Scale (SME) Jewellery / Gold Fabricators Refiners toward Efficient Work Process in Waste Management.

This paper presents the rationale of the continuous improvement (CI) system to be applied for the small-scale jewellery industry in the state of Kelantan State of Malaysia. The manufacturer’s inefficiency during the fabrication process directly contributes to the potentially lost gold in scrap (waste) form that would eventually affect the producer's profit margin and may lead to a compromised quality of end products. Hence, the adoption of appropriate quality management applications and good practices are key to enhance business and operational efficiency towards sustainability of gold scrap and waste handling that may lead to potential economic loss. INTEGRASI FMEA DALAM PENERAPAN QUALITY CONTROL CIRCLE (QCC) UNTUK PERBAIKAN KUALITAS PROSES PRODUKSI PADA MESIN TENUN RAPIER

PT. Pajitex is one of the textile industries that produce sarongs and continues to strive to fulfill customer desires through quality sarong products. During the sarong production process, there are still various product defects that can reduce consumer confidence in the resulting sarong products. Therefore, PT. Pajitex strives to reduce the number of defects that occur in the sarong manufacturing process by exploring various causes of defects. The purpose of this study was to analyze the defective edge on the CR3082 plate using the Quality Control Circle (QCC) method. The QCC method is a quality control system through the 8-step method with a continuous improvement system. At the defect search stage, use quality control tools such as Pareto diagrams and fishbone diagrams, and use the Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to obtain the highest RPN value which is a priority in the improvement proposal, and in determining the improvement proposal using the PDCA Methods. Based on the results of the analysis obtained, the cutter cutting and the needling process are not perfect and the tuck-in setting is not precise has the highest RPN value, which is equal to 120, so this activity needs to be monitored and followed up

Exploratory Data Analysis in Schools: A Logic Model to Guide Implementation

Exploratory data analysis (EDA) is an iterative, open-ended data analysis procedure that allows practitioners to examine data without pre-conceived notions to advise improvement processes and make informed decisions. Education is a data-rich field that is primed for a transition into a deeper, more purposeful use of data. This article introduces the concept of EDA as a necessary structure to be embedded in school activities by situating it within the literature related to data-driven decision making, continuous school improvement systems, and action research methodologies. It also provides a succinct six-part framework to guide practitioners in establishing EDA procedures.

PENGARUH TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT TERHADAP KINERJA PERUSAHAAN PADA BENGKEL MOBIL PARAMITHA AUTO GRAHA DENPASAR

Company performance is used as an evaluation material for management to determine the level of the company's operating system so that it is necessary to know the factors that affect company performance, one of which is Total Quality Management (TQM). The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence Total Quality Management has on Company Performance at the Paramitha Auto Graha Denpasar car repair shop. Total Quality Management (TQM) is viewed from 5 indicators, namely focus on customers, teamwork, continuous system improvement, education and training and employee empowerment. This research using associative design and taking 80 employees as saturated sample, analyzed by Multiple Linear Regression. The results show, Total Quality Management which consists of focus on customers, teamwork, continuous system improvement, education and training as well as employee empowerment has a positive and significant effect on company performance at Paramitha Auto Graha Denpasar car repair shop.

System of Continuous Improvement for a Cooperative Organization in Southern Brazil

Quality management requires from organizations more than knowledge and practices about tools and more than tradition and commitment to quality. It requires a system of continuous improvement which, although it can be guided by formal instruments (standards, models), must be structured based on the application of theoretical knowledge to the reality of each organization. This study aimed to suggest a system of continuous improvement suitable to the operations of a cooperative organization in the agricultural sector, located in the south of Brazil. The exploratory and descriptive study used interviews, on-site observation and document analysis. As a result, we suggest a continuous improvement system based on the PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act), with quality tools associated with each stage, with emphasis on the planning stage, which requires more decisions than the others. In addition, it is suggested to intensify the training of employees and review the criteria for setting goals, in order to create conditions to organically integrate a set of elements capable of effectively contributing to the continuous improvement of the studied organization's processes.

IMPROVEMENT OF MECHANISMS FOR STATE MANAGEMENT OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF QUALITY OF PROVISION OF MEDICAL SERVICES IN UKRAINE

Objective. To substantiate theoretical and methodological principles, develop scientific and practical recommendations for state management of medical services in Ukraine.
 Materials and methods. There were used such research methods as synthesis, analysis, scientific abstraction when specifying the categorical-conceptual framework of research; system structural analysis when developing the conceptual principles of state regulation of the provision of medical services of appropriate quality and accessibility; discriminant analysis when assessing the cost of public health services in Ukraine.
 Results. An approach to the formation of a system to improve the efficiency and quality of medical services in Ukraine has been developed. The system of continuous improvement of the quality of medical services has been developed, which combines financial and economic calculations for provided medical services with screening examination of the technology of medical and diagnostic process according to the models of medical services and allows to build a hierarchical management system for financing and quality of medical services.
 Conclusions. The has been proposed the method of payment for medical services according to the models of simple and complex medical services, which is the most promising for use in conditions of limited financial resources and involves compliance with the following rules.

Computer vision includes several subjects, such as machine learning, image processing and model recognition, and replaces some human work by analyzing and extracting a large amount of video data and analyzing video content information. With the continuous improvement and development of educational video system and artificial intelligence technology, an intelligent educational video system based on real-time recognition technology is being developed rapidly. To determine and analyze the behavior of teachers and students by using behavior recognition algorithms based on continuous video images, classroom scene video can reflect students' participation in classroom teaching, and evaluate teachers' attractiveness to students through students' academic performance. Including their academic performance. Through the analysis of the behavior of teachers and students in the classroom, we can effectively find the intersection of students and teachers in the classroom. Through the interaction and interest between students, we can analyze the influence of teachers' style and interaction on students in teaching. Students, educational reform, improving the quality of education and training highly skilled personnel to achieve a positive direction.

Research on Current Situation of Quality Management of Artificial Intelligence Medical Device Enterprises

To understand the current situation of artificial intelligence production enterprise quality management system, so as to provide reference basis for the research and standardization of Artificial Intelligence Medical Device (AIMD) product quality management. Based on YY/T 0287-2017 Medical Device Quality Management System for Regulatory Requirements, Medical Equipment Production and the Quality Control Standard for Independent Software Appendix and Xavier GMLP report, the relevant factors were screened and the questionnaire was designed by combining expert consultation and literature review. Then, a total of 32 representative AIMD enterprises were invited to fill in the questionnaire. Descriptive statistical analysis was performed on the data results using Excel 2016. Through in-depth analysis of the four themes in product planning and design, result output, product quality control and product change, it was found that it was necessary for enterprises participating in the survey to improve the quality management system of AIMD products to different degrees. This study is the first time to systematically investigate the status quo of quality management of AIMD enterprises. The result will be useful for the establishment and continuous improvement of product quality management system. It will also provide a reference for the research of AIMD product quality management and the establishment of the standard.

Energy efficiency of heating equipment and resources in the implementation and adaption of lean manufacturing tools LLC TATNEFT-AZS center

THE PURPOSE. Consider the introduction and implementation of lean production technology in the branches of OOO Tatneft - AZS Center. Describe the essence of the technology, consider the problems, the complexity of implementation and propose an algorithm for introducing the technology and involving each employee in the process of optimizing the business and maximizing customer focus. METHODS. At the initial stage, it was decided to start implementing the Lean philosophy with two of its tools: kaizen and 5S. Using the philosophy of continuous improvement Kaizen, a system of kaizen sentences was developed and formalized. In order to provide material incentives for employees at each workplace, the Regulation on the system of continuous improvement of the production system of OOO Tatneft-AZS Center was adopted, which regulates and regulates the process of submitting and evaluating kaizen proposals. For the implementation of the 5S system, the standard "Application of the 5S system in the organization of a workplace" was developed, discussed in all labor collectives and adopted, on the basis of which the implementation of the 5S system was started in all branches of OOO Tatneft-AZS Center. RESULTS. The article describes the use of a fairly wide and varied range of Lean manufacturing tools: kaizen proposals, 5C, standardization, TPM, visualization, SFM-visual management, value stream maps. The tools differ in both the time and duration of implementation and their effectiveness. CONCLUSION. Within the framework of adapting the principles of Lean production to the retail and sales network of oil products of OOO Tatneft-AZS Center, the primary factors are industry and organizational specifics.

Battery production design using multi-output machine learning models

The lithium-ion battery (LiB) is a prominent energy storage technology playing an important role in the future of e-mobility and the transformation of the energy sector. However, LiB cell manufacturing has still high production costs and a high environmental impact, due to costly materials, high process fluctuations with high scrap rates, and high energy demands. A lack of a profound knowledge of LiB cell production processes and their influence on the quality and the performance of the LiB cells makes it difficult to plan, control and execute the production. Therefore, a systematic approach is necessary to establish an in-depth understanding of the interlinkage of processes and products’ quality and performance. This paper presents a multi-output approach for a battery production design, based on data-driven models predicting final product properties from intermediate product features. The given concept shows how the approach can be deployed within the framework of a cyber-physical production system for continuous improvement of the underlying data-driven model and decision support in production.

Методика мониторинга результативности системы непрерывных улучшений

The purpose of the paper is to present methods for evaluation of the continuous improvement system (CIS) indicators within the organization during implementation, development and improvement. The approach proposed by the authors is aimed at measuring the effectiveness and sufficiency of activities during the CIS functioning. The material of the paper will be of interest to top managers, heads of HR services, specialists in the implementation of lean production tools, managers and specialists of business optimization departments, as well as to those who initiate and implement changes in the organization, who audit changes.
