Analysis of Football Academy Students Skill: Using The David Lee Proficiency Test

Football is a popular team sport that is widely loved and played around the world. Basic football skills are crucial for every team member, and each individual must train in fundamental football techniques. Tests and measurements play a crucial role in football training as they can enhance players' skills. Safin Pati Sports School is a leading boarding football academy in Central Java, admitting students based on interest without any selection process. However, the students have not undergone any previous tests or measurements of their football skills. This research aims to analyze the level of basic football skills among students born in 2009 at Safin Pati Sports School. The research methodology employed purposive sampling technique, and a statistical descriptive analysis was conducted with 33 students born in 2009 as the research subjects. Data collection was carried out through the David Lee speed test. The results of the analysis indicate that the level of basic football skills among Safin Pati Sports School students is categorized as good, with 42.42% of students demonstrating good speed test scores. The positive outcomes are attributed to a well-designed program encompassing aspects of physical fitness, technical training, tactical drills, and mental exercises.

Global universal basic skills: Current deficits and implications for world development

How far is the world away from ensuring that every child obtains the basic skills needed to be competitive in a modern economy? And what would accomplishing this mean for world development? We provide new approaches for estimating the lack of basic skills that allow mapping achievement across countries of the world onto a common (PISA) scale. We then estimate the share of children not achieving basic skills for 159 countries that cover 98% of world population and 99% of world GDP. We find that at least two-thirds of the world's youth do not reach basic skill levels, ranging from 24% in North America to 89% in South Asia and 94% in Sub-Saharan Africa. Our economic analysis suggests that the present value of lost world economic output due to missing the goal of global universal basic skills amounts to over $700 trillion over the remaining century, or 12% of discounted GDP.

Assessment of Basic Computer Skills of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) Learners

Lack of instructional materials like computers was determined as one of the problems the ALS itself has faced therefore, this study objectified the basic computer skills among Alternative Learning System (ALS) Learners in San Jose, Dinagat Islands. 51 ALS learners comprised the respondents’ group and the assessment was conducted at Sta. Cruz, San Jose, Dinagat Islands. Results revealed that majority of the ALS learners had good knowledge of operating Windows, while a large percentage of them cannot effectively operate the Microsoft Word software with little to no knowledge of creating and editing documents. On the other hand, learners were determined to be beginners whose knowledge of operating emails and the internet were insufficient and were less exposed to learning Excel as this has found more complicated to use. However, ALS learners showed positive personal interest in learning computers despite their inability to own one due to socioeconomic or situational. Thus, it may recommend that the government must support the ALS program by providing an adequate number of computer facilities to cater to all the ALS learners and better enhance their level of basic computer skills, particularly in areas of General Windows, Microsoft Word, MS Excel or Spreadsheet and Internet/E-mail. Significantly, the DepEd needs to closely monitor the ALS program as its parallel learning system, so that out-of-school youth are provided with improved learning opportunities in all areas, especially in ICT.

Keterampilan Teknik Dasar Mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Olahraga Pasca Mata Kuliah Sepak Bola

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of basic football technical skills for students of the Sports Science Study Program, Medan State University (Unimed IKOR Study Program) after taking courses during the pandemic. The design used in this research is quantitative descriptive. The research method used is a survey method with test and measurement techniques. The research population was all Unimed 2021 Sports Science Department students. The research sample consisted of 60 students. The sampling technique in this study is total sampling.Based on the data analysis carried out, it was found that the basic football technical skills of the Unimed IKOR Study Program students in 2021 as a whole were included in the good category with a score of 357.85. Furthermore, in more detail, students' passing and receiving skills are in the good category with an average of 78.5, dribbling skills are in the good category with an average of 80.61, heading skills are in the good category with an average of 79.7, and shooting skills in the medium category with an average of 79.66.

Formulation of the problem. The labor market has recently undergone significant changes under the influence of many factors. Among them are globalization, demographic, migration processes, international conflicts and wars, climate change, epidemics, etc. Digitalization and green transit are becoming especially relevant in all spheres of life. This affects the requirements for knowledge and skills of employers who are preparing to receive or change jobs. Therefore, the field of education faces an important task of introducing flexible and effective educational programs. The purpose of the article. To summarize statistical and analythical information and forecasts regarding changes in education in European countries and Ukraine in the context of the transformation of labor market and under the influence of the deployment of industry 4.0. The main results of the study. The article notes the growth of unemployment among young people on the European continent, which began in the early 1960s. Statistics on education and the unemployment rate in Ukraine, damages from the war that was unleashed by Russia in 2022 are given. The growing role of institutions is especially emphasized professional education and training in the general education system of the countries of the world, blurring the boundaries between secondary special and higher education. Two main trends are highlighted in education: the development of information and communication technologies and increasing the role of transversal skills. Statistics on the level of basic digital skills among citizens of EU member states and initiatives to increase the digital literacy of Europeans are given. The presence of different approaches to the ratio of general theoretical and professional disciplines in different national education systems is emphasized. Conclusions. The impact on the sphere of education and the labor market of the process of automation, robotization, and the transition to a green economy remains to be determined. The perspective of introducing integrated approaches in education such as the German "learning fields" (Lernfelder) or the professional "code" in the Finnish system is indicated.

SURVEI TINGKAT KETERAMPILAN DASAR BERMAIN FUTSAL PESERTA EKSTRAKULIKULER FUTSAL DI SMK PGRI 2 GENENG

Extracurriculars are learning activities outside of learning hours that are listed in the school program according to the circumstances and needs of the school. The purpose of this research is to determine the level of basic skills in playing futsal for students of SMK 2 PGRI Geneng. The location of this research was carried out on Jl. Geneng-Ngawi, Tejo, Keniten, Kec. Geneng, Ngawi Regency. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research using a survey method with only one variable. The sample in this study were 16 futsal extracurricular students. Data analysis in this study used tests and measurements. The test instrument used in this study was divided into 4 points, each post carrying out different tests, while the tests and measurements included Dribble, Passing without controlling, Rotating 2 cones, Passing with controlling, Shooting the goal ball. The calculation of this test is to use the fastest time in carrying out the test from post one to post four. The results of this study are in the Very Good category 0 students (0%), stated in the Good category 5 students (31.25%), Enough category 6 Students (37.5%), Less category 4 students (25%), Poor category Once 1 student (6.25%). From these results the overall average score is 69.50 at the 68-71 level, so the skill level of playing futsal for extracurricular futsal students at SMK PGRI 2 Geneng is in the Enough category.

TINGKAT KETERAMPILAN DASAR SHOOTING, DRIBBLING DAN PASSING PADA EKSTRAKURIKULER BOLA BASKET SISWA PUTRA SMP NEGERI 4 JOMBANG

The basic technique of basketball is a very important technique in the running of a basketball game or match. Some of the basic techniques applied in junior high school level learning are dribbling, shooting, and passing. This study aims to determine the level of basic skills in playing basketball. The targets in this study were 32 boys' basketball extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 4 Jombang. The type of research used is quantitative with a survey method. The test instrument used the Johson Basketball test with a validity test of 0.79 and a reliability test of 0.80. Data were processed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques with SPSS 22.0 series. The results of the research on the basic skill level of playing basketball for male students who take part in extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 4 Jombang show that there are 3 students (9.4%) in the very good category, 6 students (18.8%) in the good category, 12 students (37.5%) in the moderate category. %), in the less category there are 8 students (25%), and in the very less category there are 3 students (9.4%).

The purpose of this study was to find out how high the level of basic skills in throwing, catching, and hitting the ball in grade IV students of SD Negri 1 Kebun Bunga, Banjarmasin. Academic Year 2022/2023. The research method uses observation techniques and test techniques which are carried out practically, namely the practice of basic movement abilities with small ball games. Designing an instrument to measure the development of techno-mathematical literacies in an innovative mathematics course for future engineers in STEM education

Techno-mathematical Literacies (TmL), which are defined as a combination of mathematical, workplace and ICT knowledge, and communicative skills, are acknowledged as important learning goals in STEM education. Still, much remains unknown about ways to address them in teaching and to assess their development. To investigate this, we designed and implemented an innovative course in applied mathematics with a focus on Techno-mathematical Literacies for 1st-year engineering students, and we set out to measure the learning effect of the course. Because measuring TmL is an uncharted terrain, we designed tests that could serve as pre- or posttests. To prevent a test learning effect, we aimed to design two different but equally difficult tests A and B. These were assigned randomly to 68 chemistry students, as a pretest, with the other one serving as posttest after the course. A significant development in TmL was found in the B-pre group, but not in the A-pre group. Therefore, as a follow-up analysis we investigated whether the two tests were equally difficult and searched for possible explanations. We found that test B was indeed perceived as more difficult than test A, but also that students who were assigned B (pre) were previously higher achieving than A (pre), and a sound mastery level of basic skills that ground the higher-order TmL seemed necessary. Furthermore, as TmL are very heterogenous by nature, some of them are easier learned and measured than others. Based on the results, we propose ways of testing TmL, which should be validated in future research.

Basketball Games and Early Childhood Motoric Development: Systematic Literature Review

This study aims to examine literature that focuses on research on early childhood basketball learning and motor development. Using the search term "basketball game and children's motor development", two databases (Scopus and Google Scholar) were selected to select journal articles. To achieve the measurement objectives, the collected literature is examined using the Critical Appraisal table, then a comparison of the measurement results is carried out. Basketball games and children's motoric development are discussed in 17 literatures. The results of several journals revealed several significant things, including the fact that playing basketball improves students' motor skills by increasing movement speed, accuracy, and strength in static and dynamic spaces, as well as game performance. Basketball players compete at various levels of competition. In addition, children who previously experienced delays in these movements at the level of fitness, behavior, knowledge and basic skills, which include agility, balance and coordination, were greatly influenced by the basic movements and basic skills of mini basketball. The purpose of the study was to determine the improvement of basic skills in the football game of students at SMP Negeri 2 East Kupang. This study is descriptive quantitative. With a population of 30 male students, SMP Negeri 2 Kupang Timur is a student. Research was conducted at the football field of Bouyant Bontessori Junior High School. The instrument used is a basic football skill test for 14-15 year olds from. The results of this study showed that the Basic Skill Level of Playing Football for Class VIII boys of SMP Negeri 2 East Kupang that the category was very high 6 participants by 30%; high category 5 students (25%) enough category 5 participants by 25%; low category 3 learners (15%) and very low category 1 learner (5%.).

Kualitas Servis Pendek Forehand Dan Smash Pada Bulutangkis Di Club PB Ramba Jaya

This study aims to analyze how the basic techniques of short serve forehand and smash in badminton games at Club PB. Rama Jaya. The population in this study were Club PB athletes. Rama Jaya. The sample in this study amounted to 20 athletes. The sampling technique in this study used Non-probability Sampling with the Quota Sampling technique. The instrument used in data collection is the short serve test forehand and smash in badminton games. Based on the results of research on the level of basic technical skills in badminton games at Club PB. Ramba Jaya researchers can conclude that there are 2 athletes who fall into the "Very Low" category (10%). There are 18 athletes who fall into the "low" category (90%).

PELATIHAN METODE IDENTIFIKASI MOTORIK SISWA MENGGUNAKAN TES TGMD-2 DI DESA JAYALAKSANA

The TGMD-2 test is one of the motion development tests developed by Ulirch in 1985. Ulrich D. A. from the School of kinesiology at the University of Michigan, has compiled a test to evaluate 250 basic motor skills (Test Of Gross Motor Development). TGMD-2 tests 12 basic movement skills which are divided into two subtests, namely locomotor and object control. This test is designed to assess the level of basic motor skills in children aged 3-10 years. This test is suitable for elementary school age students 7-10 years. In community service this time using the training method in the form of demonstrations related to the rules, movements and procedures for carrying out the TGMD-2 Test. The main target for this program is sports teachers who work at the Jayalaksana Village Elementary School, Kec. CabangBungin, Bekasi Regency.The purpose of implementing this program is to improve motor understanding of sports teachers through training in methods of identifying motor skills of elementary school students through the TGMD-2 test. The results obtained showed that the teacher representatives from each elementary school in Jayalaksana Village were able to provide good understanding and direction of the TGMD-2 test movements to 6 (six) students who were appointed as demonstrators in the demonstration of the TGMD-2 test movement. So it can be concluded that this Community service activity has an impact, namely being able to increase knowledge and information related to the material and implementation of the TGMD-2 Test for teachers who teach sports, as well as provide knowledge about the importance of motor development for elementary school students in Jayalaksana Village because they have It is the duty and responsibility of a teacher to know the progress of his students. Digital Learning Readiness in Developing E-Module for Intensification of Basic Science Process Skills among Grade 3 Students in A Collaborative Learning Environment

The Covid-19 problem has put a stop to this system, forcing educators to rethink how to teach and learn. Consequently, educators are looking for technological innovations to help bridge the gap between face-to-face and online education, most especially in collaboration. The focus of this study is to develop an e-module in line with their digital learning readiness that bridges the gap between face-to-face and online distance learning to enhance the basic science process skills of Grade 3 students in Science at Del Remedio Elementary School. The research design employed for this study is descriptive-developmental, which is a process for developing and validating a learning product. The participants of this research are the grade 3 online distance learners of Del Remedio Elementary school. The developed e-module meets the criterion of being highly acceptable in terms of material and media content, as per the findings. The dependent samples t-test revealed students’ pre-test and post-test scores are significantly different from their basic science process skills; this implies that the student’s grades improved after utilizing the e-module. The Pearson Product-Moment correlation shows that there is no significant relationship between the students; perceived acceptability for the developed e-module and their level of basic science process skills, with a significant level of 0.05. This led to the conclusion that the developed e-module, as a tool, helps students to improve their understanding of the lesson leading them to higher achievements. Applications-Based Learning Media to Improve Students’ Table Tennis Basic Skills: Viewing its Effectiveness

This study aims to test the effectiveness of application-based learning media in improving basic table tennis technical skills. The sample in this study involved students consisting of two groups, namely the experimental group of 15 people and the control group of 15 people. The research was carried out online, and this was because it was still in an emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study is an experimental method to see the difference in skill levels of the two research groups. The data collection technique used is performance tests. Then the data were analyzed by calculating the percentage. The results of data analysis obtained through skill performance tests show that the level of basic table tennis technical skills in the experimental group and the control group both have good results. However, looking at the comparison of the percentage levels obtained by the two groups, it can be seen that the experimental group has a higher skill level percentage than the control group. An experimental group is a group whose learning activities use application-based learning media. Based on the research results above, it can be concluded that online learning using application-based media can improve students’ understanding and skills in basic table tennis technical material.

EVALUATING POSITIVE EFFECTS OF LEISURE FROM A LIFE-COURSE PERSPECTIVE: A LITERATURE REVIEW

This article discusses the psychological impact of leisure across a lifetime using a life-course perspective, which assumes that people’s experiences at earlier life stages shape their following developmental trajectories. Since leisure activities are part of one’s lifestyle, adopting this perspective to leisure research is invaluable. By reviewing a variety of research, the article discusses 1) the progress of psychological leisure research and the impact of leisure on subjective well-being and cognitive functioning, 2) transitions in leisure and their relationship from a life-course perspective, and 3) the benefits related to the accumulation of leisure activities across the lifespan. The present review concludes that positive psychological achievement (e.g., self-worth, affirmation, and self-realization) and cognitive foundation (e.g., high levels of basic cognitive skills) shaped through leisure participation in early life stages help overcome challenges in later stages (i.e., successfully adapt to psychological vulnerability and cognitive decline in old age).

Digital literacy skills among African library and information science professionals – an exploratory study

PurposeThis study aims to assess the digital literacy of African library and information science (LIS) professionals. Digital literacy skills are required in the digital library environment.Design/methodology/approachRelevant literature was reviewed on this topic; previous study questionnaires, various university LIS curriculum, content analysis and job advertising were used for preparing the survey questionnaire. This study used an ex post facto research design. Purposive sampling was adopted in this study, and data were collected from Google form by sharing the research questionnaire by hyperlink which was undertaken from March 15, 2022 to May 24, 2022. The data were collected by a structured questionnaire. A four-point Likert scale was used to measure how library professionals acquired digital literacy skills. Content analysis of more than 500 job vacancies over the past three years (2018–2022) of library job advertisements was taken randomly.FindingsThis study’s findings show that the majority of the good at basic level of digital literacy skills at the same time have less in advanced digital literacy skills. The finding of this study shows the majority of them have to upgrade and learn about advanced digital literacy skills.Practical implicationsThis study recommends adopting a new syllabus and updating a LIS curriculum based on the library’s technological development. Furthermore, this study’s potential result suggests more practical classes instead of theoretical study and it is useful to the library schools, associations, MOOC providers and lifelong learners.Originality/valueThis study is conducted with 102 African library professionals from 13 countries. This study discusses futuristic digital literacy skills and basic literacy skills. This study is beneficial to those who are preparing a new curriculum in LIS fields.

Rehabilitation for elderly patients with cancer.

If physical functions are impaired in patients with cancer owing to the progression of the disease and the treatment processes, their activities of daily living (ADLs) decline; thus, the quality of life is impacted. Elderly patients with cancer constitute a group with diverse basic physical, mental and social skill levels owing to aging. Given that there are potential risks of frailty and sarcopenia, their physical functions and ADL are prone to decline. Furthermore, there are many cases in which patients live alone, isolated from the society or face social problems. Therefore, in the treatment of elderly patients with cancer, geriatric assessment is used to comprehensively assess comorbidity, physical functions and psychophysiological/social/environmental situations and a system that provides supportive care is required. As part of this process, cancer rehabilitation plays an important role in prevention of complications, functional recovery and maintenance and improvement of physical functions and ADL until the time of palliative care. To provide rehabilitation, utmost attention must be paid to issues unique to elderly people, such as frailty, sarcopenia, dementia, delirium, pain management, depression and undernutrition/dysphagia.

APPLICATION OF JBATIK TECHNOLOGY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MOTIF DESIGN FOR TRADITIONAL BATIK CRAFTSMEN

This participatory action study is aimed at identifying the adaptation level of traditional batik craftsmen in developing batik motif designs using jBatik software technology. The research participants consist of 10 traditional batik craftsmen, three from the innovators group and seven from the adopters group located in Kerek District, Tuban Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia. The application of jBatik technology will be carried out using the Diffusion of Innovation theory which divides the process stages into 5, namely the knowledge stage, persuasion stage, decision stage, implementation stage, and confirmation stage. The results of the theory application resulted in 4 things. First the knowledge about various social system variables and the characteristics of the innovation recipients. Second, the design of the communication model to include knowledge about the innovation of batik motif design as a result of the JBatik software. Third, the results of the simulation of the application of batik motif designs produced by the jBatik software with craftsmen. Fourth, validation of the simulation results of the application of batik motif design innovations by craftsmen by people who had the ability to measure the level of absorption of innovation, so that the level of adaptation of traditional craftsmen to the technological challenges of the jbatik device could be identified. This study contributes to determining the level of knowledge and basic skills possessed by traditional batik craftsmen to serve as a starting point in deciding innovation strategies to be solutions that can be implemented by them.

Reshaping the Preservice Preschool Teachers’ Curriculum to Give the Emphasis to the Managerial Domain

<p style="text-align: justify;">The purpose of the study was to determine whether emphasising the managerial domain of the preservice preschool teachers’ curriculum is capable to improve their management and leadership skills. This study used the mixed-method methodology that combined the exploratory design and the experimental design. It included three basic phases such as feasibility assessment of making changes to the curriculum, intervention, and controlled observation, followed by the analytical phase. It was proved that the university curriculum upgraded the training approach by using the guided interim directorship. This change addressed the Professional Standard requirements for the preschool heads as well as job requirements. The intervention produced a positive shift in students’ skills of micromanagement, long-term planning, communicating vision, emotional control, and mentoring. There was a shift from the basic level of management skills before the intervention to the intermediate level of the skills after the intervention. The number of students with a superior level of skills increased by 11.54% as well. The students’ comments concerning the integration of the managerial component into the curriculum were complimentary. The observers’ reports suggested that they appreciated the students' work which was the outcome of the updated curriculum.</p>
