Traceability and Reflection: Contemporary Revelations of Li Ruiqing’s Art Education Thought

Li Ruiqing is an essential founder of higher art education in modern China. He advocated a new style of education for a better country. He founded the Drawing and Handicrafts Section, the first teacher-training art department in the country at that time, at the Two Rivers Normal School. It pioneered the opening of art specialties in Chinese higher education and trained a large number of art education talents for Chinese art education. Its spirit of education to develop the country, dare to be the first, and the courage to take responsibility for modern art education thought has an essential impact on the innovation of modern art education thought and the formation of the contemporary spirit of the times of courage to take responsibility for the critical impact.

Application Analysis of Graphic Design Elements in the Teaching of Environmental Art Specialty

This paper aims to analyze the application of graphic design elements in the teaching of environmental art major. Firstly, by reviewing the definition and development of graphic design, the basic concept and classification of graphic design elements are introduced. Then, combined with the characteristics of environmental art, the application of graphic design elements in different environments and scenes is discussed. It includes color application, composition principle, font selection and graphic expression. Finally, the importance of graphic design elements in the teaching of environmental art is summarized, and the prospect of further research is put forward.

The role of cultural and creative competencies in shaping success of art ukrainian students

The article considers the issues of the competency-based approach in higher education and the role of cultural and creative competencies in the modern educational discourse. The aim of the article is to define the peculiarities of forming cultural and creative competencies of students in artistic specialties in higher education institutions of Ukraine, as well as to elucidate the influence of these competencies on the competitiveness and professional career advancement of specialists in both domestic and global labor markets. The research methodology includes a combination of systemic-differentiated, comparative, synergistic, cultural, axiological, structural-functional, and empirical methods, which are employed to clarify the peculiarities of forming cultural and creative competencies during students’ professional training in artistic specialties. The article demonstrates the peculiarities of forming cultural and creative competencies in the Standards of Higher Education and educational-professional programs, examines role of the educational environment in forming creative competencies and its peculiarities as an educational-creative environment using the example of training students in artistic specialties at Kharkiv State Academy of Culture. Promising directions for improving creativity development in educational-creative environments of educational institutions are identified, which enhance the competitiveness of professionals in artistic specialties and contribute to the resolution of crisis phenomena in society.

Psychological atmosphere and art therapy at sculpture classes

The article is devoted to the theoretical substantiation and practical approbation of the need to create a positive psychological atmosphere at classes of Artistic and Creative Activity (Sculpture), as well as the possibility of overcoming psychological stress through art therapy exercises. It is important to identify those means and methods of organizing students’ educational process at Sculpture classes which are most effective in creating such a psychological atmosphere that might promote artistic and creative activities and activate students’ artistic potential. In particular, the phenomena of a psychological atmosphere and art therapy, their features in the context of artistic and creative activities alongside the possibility of including these issues in the educational process of the Art and Graphic Faculty of the State institution “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky” (Ushynsky University) are considered. That is, it is about creating such a situation in the educational process at Sculpture classes in which students will feel their psychological security, motivation to study and creative effort. The adaptation of the educational environment in accordance with modern criteria for preserving psychological health, which helps to overcome the problems of mental imbalance of future teachers of art specialties. The article presents the development of art therapy exercises with sculpturing which help in overcoming stress, students’ internal tension and emotional burnout. The experience of implementing this development in the educational process intended for future teachers of art disciplines is highlighted. The importance of forming psychologically healthy graduates majoring in pedagogy is emphasized. The proposed methods and techniques were tested on the students of the Faculty of Art and Graphics of Ushynsky University. The practice of applying the methods mentioned in the article and observing the results have been carried out for several years. The analysis of the primary observation results of the students’ psychological state after classes using the proposed methods and conducting art therapy exercises demonstrates an increase in the inclusion of students in the educational process, as well as their activation of artistic and creative abilities. The authors identified the main ways of forming a psychologically healthy atmosphere during the study of sculptural art, which can be adapted to other educational subjects of the art cycle. The presented article does not cover all aspects of the specified topic; it does not pretend to be complete in the matter either. In particular, further research is needed to determine the level of effectiveness of the proposed methods and exercises through questionnaires, testing and mathematical analysis of the obtained results in order to consolidate the primary conclusions made during the students’ field observation. This demonstrates the potential of the chosen topic and the need for further work in this direction. However, those decisions and conclusions on the specified issues which were made in the research process allow us to form a number of methodological principles for creating a positive psychological atmosphere and overcoming a psychological stress at classes of Artistic and Creative Activities (Sculpture), which is an important step in the formation of the future psychologically healthy society.

Роль академічної доброчесності у навчанні студентів спеціальності «Музичне мистецтво»

The article examines the role of academic integrity in the context of university education and training of future specialists in the field of musical art. The authors reveal the essence of the concept of academic integrity and its importance for the formation of competent students and musicians. The attitude towards plagiarism of students majoring in "Musical Art" was analyzed. The article indicates an increase in cases of violations of the principles of academic integrity in the educational activities of Ukrainian institutions of higher education. The authors highlight the European experience in the formation of ethical competence of future specialists in the field of musical art as an example for overcoming the problems of academic dishonesty, such as copying, plagiarism and illegitimate obtaining of grades. Academic integrity, defined as a high degree of honesty and ethics in the educational process, becomes an important component of the training of specialists in the "Musical Art" specialty. The modern stage of formation of higher music education determines the importance of values that guide students on the way to mastery in art. Academic integrity acts not only as a norm of behavior, but also as a mechanism for the formation of high standards and responsibility. Art students, by adhering to the principles of academic integrity, not only demonstrate their dignity, but also uphold ethical standards in the artistic environment. It has been proven that academic integrity is a set of rules defined by legislation and moral and ethical principles that must be followed by all participants in the educational process. It has been proven that academic integrity is a moral and ethical category based on established norms and rules of behavior of a scientist, which guarantee freedom in the performance of educational and research tasks of students of art specialties.

Exploration on Teaching Reform of Public Art Specialty Based on Interactive Technology

Interactive technology refers to the technology of realizing the dialogue between people and computers in an effective way through computer input and output equipment, which can greatly facilitate the work of various industries in China. Based on this, this paper takes the teaching of public art specialty as an example to discuss the teaching reform method in combination with interactive technology. This paper lists the value of interactive technology in public art teaching, the current situation of low application rate, lack of equipment and unbalanced teaching content, and the improvement methods by strengthening teacher training, introducing equipment and standardizing the use of technology.

MODERN METHODOLOGICAL MEANS OF TEACHING GRAPHIC DISCIPLINES FOR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS

In today's complex social conditions, significant changes are taking place in the system of domestic higher education. High-quality graphic training of graduates of higher educational institutions has been a pressing problem for many decades, so it is necessary to systematically update the existing methodological base and develop effective forms of training. As you know, drawing is the international language of architects and engineers. Working with flat images of spatial objects requires students to have developed spatial thinking already in the first year. In .this study, detailed attention is paid to the review and analysis of existing methodological approaches to the teaching of important classical sections of the discipline "Descriptive Geometry". The trends of improving teaching under the condition of distance learning are also considered, which helps future specialists of creative specialties to increase the level of individual competitiveness in modern market conditions. The purpose of the research is to determine and improve modern methodological tools for teaching graphic disciplines of students of the first course of creative specialties. Our study is related to the scientific research work "Improving the organization of the educational process using distance learning methods and teaching methods of graphic disciplines for students of construction and architectural and art specialties based on the competence approach", which is carried out on the basis of the Department of "Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Graphics" Odessa State Academy of Construction and Architecture (OSACEA) for many recent years. The work uses theoretical and empirical research methods: analysis, classification and synthesis of research base sources, many years of personal teaching experience; diagnostics of students specializing in 191 Architecture and Urban Planning and 023 Fine Arts (observations, monitoring the quality of teaching, self-analysis, etc.). Graphic competencies are very significant for a graduate’s future professional activity, which gives freedom in the creative implementation of the entire design process from the birth of an idea to its implementation.

ORGANIZATION OF PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICE FOR STUDENTS OF ART SPECIALITIES IN THE CONDITIONS OF DISTANCE LERNING

The article addresses the issue of organizing pedagogical (educational and vocational) practice for students of the Faculty of Arts at Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University in a distance learning format. The aim of the article is to reveal the specifics of organizing the pedagogical practice for students of artistic specialties at the Faculty of Arts of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University in a distance format. The research employed a range of general scientific and pedagogical methods to ensure objectivity and comprehensiveness, including: literature analysis on the research problem to determine the state of its development and research prospects; comparison to examine different scholars' perspectives; systematization and generalization for drawing conclusions; observation of the educational process and analysis of the results of pedagogical practice undertaken by students of artistic specialties to assess the effectiveness of using the distance learning format. The author discusses the changes in the content of pedagogical practice for future teachers and highlights the factors that contribute to its organization in a distance learning format, including the development of a set of methodological recommendations for student interns (practice content by types of activities, guidelines for report preparation and submission, provision of documentation samples), identification of communication messengers for interaction with practice supervisors, students' mastery of online learning technologies - a set of educational technologies (developmental, project-based, blended, differentiated learning, etc.), as well as information and communication (digital) technologies for creating, compiling, storing, and accessing electronic educational resources that facilitate the implementation of distance learning processes. The organization of practice involves regular interaction between online learning participants during classes and consultations conducted online, ensuring the transmission of video, audio, graphic, and textual information in synchronous and asynchronous modes.

Formation of Specialists’ Professional Competence in Art Specialities Using the Pedagogy of Dissensus: Features of a Development of the Postmodern Society

The relevance of the outlined problem is determined by the need for an anticipatory development of the educational sphere, in particular, improvement of the process of training specialists in art specialties at institutions of higher education, taking into account peculiarities of postmodern development of society. Taking into account the results of the generalization of theoretical searches, existing innovative processes in art education are singled out and analyzed (updating regulatory support, creating original scientific and methodological support for the formation of professional competence, implementing innovative educational programs, using information and communication technologies, implementing a quality management system for higher education, etc.). On the basis of the generalization of the conducted research work, the theoretical model of improving the professional training of future specialists in art by means of pedagogy of dissensus is substantiated. The model describes the goal, subject, object, process, and expected result. The means of pedagogy of dissensus (integrativeness, communicative behavior, dissensus, argumentative speech, different readings of the content of artistic works, etc.) and the peculiarities of their use in the process of training art specialists are characterized. Prospects for further research consist in detailing the model of improving the professional training of future art specialists by means of pedagogy of dissensus and developing effective means of control in order to organize a pedagogical experiment under the conditions of a real educational process.

Cross-cultural component in the training of future teachers in the China High School (example of physical education and dance teachers)

This article is devoted to the practice of cross-cultural interaction as part of the professional training of future teachers in institutions of higher education in the People's Republic of China. Teachers of physical culture and dance were chosen as the focus group (since dance is an alternative discipline for the physical development of students in modern Chinese schools), because sport is traditionally a less politicized component of the educational program in the PRC, and on the other hand, it most vividly demonstrates not only traditional for Ukraine approaches to the concept of "cross-culturalism" as a combination of achievements of different ethnic cultures in a certain field, but also purely Chinese, where "cross-culturalism" also means a combination of different types of human activity within the framework of one ethnicity. The understanding of this cross-culturalism and its conscious use in professional activities today is also reflected in the professional training programs of future physical education and dance teachers in the People's Republic of China and may be of interest to Ukrainian specialists.
 One of the starting points of the research is that the concept of "cross-culturalism" in modern Chinese pedagogical science is considered in two parallel ways. We can talk about cross-cultural communication as an external quality, and then it will correspond to the one that is more common in Ukrainian professional literature, but we can also consider it as an internal phenomenon. The position of the Chinese educational system regarding the integrability of sports and artistic specialties (physical culture and dance teacher), as well as the idea of internal cross-culturalism as a combination of two or more types of activities within the framework of one ethnic or cultural community, deserve further research and understanding.

TYPOLOGY OF CONTINUITY OF PARADIGMS OF VISUAL TRAINING OF SPECIALISTS IN ART SPECIALTIES

The review article provides a theoretical analysis of the essence of concepts related to the issue of continuity of paradigms of visual training of future specialists in art specialties. The article describes the terminological thesaurus in the context of the methodology of professional art education and reveals the essence of traditional, value-normative, and scientifically managed types of continuity of paradigms of visual training of specialists in art specialties. Paradigms of the artistic and educational process are characterized by I. Levin who highlighted canonical, academic, ethnocultural, cultural-synthetic, activity-based, creative, and arbitrary paradigms of visual training. It is proved that the outlined types of continuity of paradigms of visual training are necessarily associated with the time parameters of mastering the valuable artistic and educational heritage both within one and several generations of artists-educators, as well as a deep understanding of the essence of traditional, value-normative and scientifically managed types of continuity of paradigms of visual training of specialists in art specialties and flexible use of their principles in the real artistic and pedagogical process will guarantee the high quality of modern art education.

Functional readiness and properties of the nervous system peculiarities of art specialties’ future teachers

Background and purpose. The future professional work of students of the Faculty of Arts is characterized by an insufficient level of physical activity of a dynamic nature in combination with a large static load and highly coordinated finger work. Representatives of these specialties have their own psychological characteristics. Purpose: to reveal the peculiarities of the properties of the nervous system and the functional potential of the cardiovascular system of students - future teachers of fine arts and music and, based on the obtained data, to develop recommendations for physical education and sports.
 Material and methods. Students of Pedagogical University took part in the study. The total number of students was 812. 24 of them were students of the Faculty of Arts. Future specialists in physical education and sports took part in the number of 25 people. 763 students were representatives of other faculties. Properties of the nervous system were determined using psychophysiological testing. During psychophysiological testing, the reaction time and the number of errors were determined for each test. The indicators of the orthostatic test were used as indicators of functional readiness. In the orthostatic test, the heart rate was measured in the lying position and in the standing position and the difference between these indicators. Statistical analysis involved comparing students of the Faculty of Arts with students of other faculties using parametric methods, since all samples corresponded to a normal distribution.
 Results. Future teachers of creative specialties have reliably the least mobility in combination with the highest stability of nervous processes in comparison with representatives of other pedagogical specialties. Reliable differences were found between the indicators of orthostatic reactions of students of the Faculty of Arts and the faculty where future sports coaches are trained. Orthostatic regulation is significantly better in students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports.
 Conclusions. It is necessary to adjust the program of physical education of students of creative specialties to increase the interest of students and to match physical exercises to the features of the nervous system of students of the Faculty of Arts. Future teachers of creative specialties can be recommended to engage in any kind of sport or motor activity, but the most suitable for them are exercises that require the development of endurance in combination with the inclusion of cognitive processes and concentration: walks with observation of nature and the city, exercises performed to music, exercises with a concentration on various natural images, etc.

The article raises the issue of psychological professional training provision of future music art teachers during their master's studies at a pedagogical institution of higher education. The relevance of this problem is determined by the need for the disciplines of the psychological and pedagogical cycle in the general professional and creative training of masters, solving the main task – the training of highly qualified specialists in musical art who meet the standards and requirements of a modern specialist. The article proves the necessity of studying the discipline «Music Psychology» in preparing masters of education for the qualitative implementation towards the professional functions of a performer and musical art teacher in the system of general and additional music education. The author's approach to the content and teaching methods during the study of the specified discipline is highlighted. It is emphasized that the construction of the thematic material of the course is based on a dynamic approach, which most accurately reflects the specifics of the mental processes of an individual interacting with music. This approach is implemented through the sequence that is most often found in general psychology: the nature of sound, cognitive processes, the emotional and volitional sphere, individual characteristics of the personality, the specificity of artistic creativity. It is emphasized that the construction of the thematic material of the course is based on a dynamic approach, which most accurately reflects the specifics of the mental processes of an individual interacting with music. This approach is implemented through the sequence that is most often found in general psychology: the nature of sound, cognitive processes, the emotional and volitional sphere, individual characteristics of the personality, the specificity of artistic creativity. Attention is focused on the author's vision of the discipline content, supported by 15 years of experience in teaching the course «Psychology of Art» for students of art specialties of a pedagogical high educational institution. The article outlines a logical presentation of the course material aimed at making master's students about following the importance of psychological training at the university, forming their professional motivation. ФОРМИРОВАНИЕ ТВОРЧЕСКОЙ ЛИЧНОСТИ МОЛОДОГО ПОКОЛЕНИЯ В СОВРЕМЕННОЙ ХУДОЖЕСТВЕННО-ОБРАЗОВАТЕЛЬНОЙ СРЕДЕ ВУЗА

The purpose of the study is to study the phenomenon of art in the formation of a creatively developed personality of the younger generation in the system of art education of higher education in the conditions of an information digital society. The methodological basis of the. The process of transformation of the educational space in the conditions of an information digital society involves the use of a systemic transdisciplinary approach based on the presence of a cultural code as an invariant in all disciplines and aspects studied, value-orientation, personal, communicative-activity, dialectical approaches. The research is based on the concepts of humanistic, personality-oriented education, individual development of students for the formation of a developing, creative personality of students in an artistic environment.   Research results. In general, the society and specialists of the higher school were given the state goal of becoming a personality of the younger generation − an educated, creative personality, oriented in information flows, with a firm civic position, brought up on cultural traditions[1]. In the context of the formation of the information society and the developing system of digital education, the problem of the formation of creative abilities of students in the conditions of humanistic development of this process arises. The digital environment contains risks and problems. At the same time, the use of new technologies creates additional prospects: informational, technological, related to saving time on the creative process. Which also contributes to the formation of a student's creative personality in new conditions. The digital environment participating in the educational space contains a certain base and capabilities that are already being successfully used at the university to optimize learning within the framework of forms of education: full-time, distance and additional. The system of training sessions should be organized taking into account the use of digital technologies in their maximum application for artistic specialties. Prospects of the study. The content of the scientific and methodological base and the variety of visual information provides a full-fledged learning process and creative realization of the personal potential of the student of the art direction and designer. In our opinion, the use of project activities in several variants is of great importance in the creative development of a student: author's, group and accompanied by university partners. Artistic and Pedagogical Competences of the Fine Arts Teacher: an Adaptation to the Postmodern Society

The importance of the outlined problem lies in the fact that professional training of future fine arts teachers should take into account the trends of recent general scientific, socio-cultural and moral-aesthetic processes. Analysis of the professional training system in the context of the requirements of postmodern society gives grounds to claim that it requires significant updating. In particular, individualization and democratization of education, interdisciplinarity, departure from traditional patterns of professional training, rethinking of pedagogical ideas and postulates in the context of quality assurance, etc. are paramount. The article defines the structure of artistic and pedagogical competence of a fine arts teacher. Its structural elements (artistic component (artistic and aesthetic education, skill)) and pedagogical component (psychological and pedagogical culture, reflection) and ways of their formation are determined. Ways to improve professional training of future fine arts teachers taking into account the postmodern features of higher education development (ensuring continuity of creative education; updating the scope of professional training; the use of information technology in the process of professional training of future fine arts teachers; emphasis of the educational programme on personal and creative development, self-fulfilment of students of artistic specialties. Development of pedagogical conditions for formation of artistic and pedagogical competence in future fine arts teachers and organization of a pedagogical experiment in order to determine their effectiveness seems promising.

ESSAY AS A FORM OF CREATIVE ASSIGNMENT IN THE DISCIPLINES OF THE FINE ARTS CYCLE FOR STUDENTS OF ARTISTIC SPECIALTIES

The purpose of the article is an attempt to comprehensively analyze the results of performing such a form of creative task as an essay by students of higher education in artistic specialties. The article deals with the effectiveness of using essays as a creative task in the disciplines of the fine arts cycle for students of artistic specialties. The advantages of this form of creative assignment over the traditional essay in the context of distance learning are determined, the positive impact of this form of assignment on the activation of theoretical research and practical artistic and creative activity of higher education students is noted. The author emphasizes the pedagogical and educational function of the task and the possibility of developing an individual's emotional and value attitude to topical issues of history and the present in the process of its implementation. The purpose of the article is an attempt to comprehensively analyze the results of performing such a form of creative task as an essay by students of higher education in artistic specialties. An attempt is made to consider the impact of the essay on stimulating students' creative activity in both theoretical and practical professional activities, influencing the formation of aesthetic, emotional and worldview thoughts. The article explores the issues of essays as an alternative form of work, motivation for scientific activity – preparing reports and writing scientific articles. The interest in the topic of the essay prompted reflection on the questions that arose during the processing of the material and the formation of answers through the receipt of impressions, in this case, theoretical material.

Features of Professional Individuality of Chinese Students in Russian Art Universities

The article provides a comparative analysis of the role of the professional personality of the future artist-teacher in the professional education of China and Russia in order to build an effective process of training Chinese specialists in Russian universities. In accordance with this , the Russian and Chinese interpretation of the concepts is given: "professional individuality" and "individual educational route". The subject of the study is the study of the role of the development of an educational route in the process of training artistic personnel. The hypothesis of the study is that in order to successfully achieve pedagogical goals in working with Chinese students, it is necessary to take into account the options for building individual educational routes in Chinese universities. It also substantiates the need for drawing up educational routes in art universities, taking into account the ethnocultural and ethnopsychological characteristics of Chinese-speaking students, which is the key to the development of individuality in the profession and subsequent adaptation to the realities of their native country. Similar studies have not been undertaken in Russian before in relation to students from China studying in a modern Russian university specializing in artistic specialties. These materials can be used in the preparation of curricula and educational programs in art and pedagogical universities of Russia, taken into account in further studies of the adaptation of foreign students.
