The objectives of this research are determine the perception of Jihad within the frame of Multiculturalism for the people of Southwest Papua. The dedication method used is quantitative. The data collection procedures are the application of teaching methods, interviews, observation and documentation. Then, in collecting data using analysis instruments on the results of applying the method, data analysis is quantitative/statistical in nature which aims to test the hypotheses that have been set. According to several figures in Southwest Papua, the perception of jihad in the frame of multiculturalism is: a) Jihad prevents radicalism through the application of the Islamic teachings of Rahmatan Lil'alamin. b) Jihad by Optimizing Religious Dialogue in Society. c) Optimizing the Introduction and Application of Multicultural Education in society. Then, the role of religious figures, educators and parents in the multicultural jihad in the Southwest Papua region, namely: a) As educators. The role of educators is always to teach a tolerant attitude to society and provide an understanding of Islam that is rahmatan lil alamin. b) As a Motivator. Their role in providing motivation by religious and educational leaders to prevent the emergence of the seeds of radicalism in society is carried out in a variety of ways according to the needs and material to be presented. c) As Demonstrator. that teachers in the Southwest Papua region have really mastered the Islamic Religious Education material

The Importance of Cared for Diversity through Multicultural Education at School Medan

Multiculturalism is a concept that is addressed to a society in the context of nationality to recognize diversity, pluralism, and diversity of races, cultures, ethnicities, and religions. The purpose of this study is to describe the model of multicultural education at the Sultan Iskandar Muda educational foundation school and to examine further the concepts and practices of holistic multicultural education. The type of research conducted is qualitative research using an ethnographic approach. Locations conducted during the study were in the area around Medan at the Sultan Iskandar Muda College Foundation, Jalan Sunggal, the informants were appointed by the Principal, Teachers, Students. The results of this study are that the application of multicultural education at YPSIM provides a belief and explanation that examines and assesses the importance of cultural and ethnic diversity in lifestyle, social experience, personal identity, educational opportunities of individuals, groups and countries. The concept of holistic multicultural education can be seen through the school's vision and policies, leadership and management, capacity and culture and school culture. So that later multicultural education can be integrated with existing subjects in schools to realize the values of tolerance, pluralism, nationalism and anti-discrimination.

The importance of intercultural education in vocational education motivates this study. This study aims to give a "rationalization" of the relevance of optimizing education, particularly civic education courses, as a kind of intercultural learning. This study employs a qualitative approach combined with descriptive methodologies. Study topic requirements do this and acquire in-depth information that incorporates social reality, and the findings will be conveyed subsequently in the form of reports and narrative descriptions. The study's findings show that the application of multicultural education in citizenship education courses at the Sorong Shipping Polytechnic can be seen in three major parts of the learning process: planning as seen from the lesson plan created independently by the lecturer, implementation of the material presented, and methods. Application of Multicultural Education in Strengthening Community Solidarity in Indonesia

This study aims to describe the models, methods and approaches used in multicultural education in Indonesia. The research method used is systematic literature-based qualitative research, namely an approach that manages data by reducing data, presenting, and verifying, as well as concluding data, not using mathematical calculations and statistics. The results of the research found that, first, multicultural education is very important to be implemented in Indonesia, because the community is multi-ethnic and consists of various ethnicities, religions, cultures and regional languages. Second, the models, methods and approaches that are suitable for implementing multicultural education in Indonesia are inclusive education models through cooperative learning and role-playing methods and approaches. The study concludes that multicultural education in Indonesia is very important to be implemented through the integration of inclusivism values ​​to students through classroom interaction using cooperative learning and role-playing.

OPTIMALISASI PERAN GURU PAI DALAM MENCEGAH RADIKALISME PADA PESERTA DIDIK MUSLIM DI KABUPATEN RAJA AMPAT

The objectives of this scientific research are: 1) To describe the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in preventing radicalism among students at SMA Negeri 1 Raja Ampat Regency. 2) To describe optimizing the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in preventing radicalism among students at SMA Negeri 1 Raja Ampat Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative research located at SMA Negeri 1 Raja Ampat. This research approach is a guidance approach and a sociological approach. Data sources in this research include primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection methods are observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis of this research data through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that: 1) Optimization has been carried out by Islamic Religious Education Teachers in preventing radicalism, namely: a) Islamic Religious Education Teachers optimize explanations about Islam rahmatan lil 'aalamiin, b) Islamic Religious Education Teachers optimize dialogue in Islamic Religious Education learning. c) Islamic Religious Education Teachers optimize the introduction and application of Multicultural education. 2) The role of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in preventing radicalism is: a) Islamic Religious Education Teachers as educators, b) Islamic Religious Education Teachers as teachers, and c) Islamic Religious Education Teachers as mentors.

Multicultural Education Patterns in Elementary Schools in Banyumas District

This paper aims to explore multicultural education in elementary schools in Banyumas district. This research raises a socio-cultural portrait in the context of learning. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The research method used is a naturalistic inquiry approach case study. There were three elementary schools that were sampled in this study, namely SD Negeri Sidamulya Kemranjen, SD Negeri 3 Banjarpanepen, and SD Mulia Bhakti Purwokerto. The data collection uses observations, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data is carried out by confirming the results of observations, interviews, documentation. Data credibility tests are carried out by extending observations, increasing persistence, data triangulation, member checks, and references. Data analysis using the Miles & Huberman interactive model. The results show that the application of multicultural education in elementary schools in Banyumas Regency is divided into three patterns, namely the application of multicultural education in learning activities, the application of multicultural education in learning content, and the application of multicultural education in intracurricular/ extracurricular schools.

Strategi Pembelajaran PAI Dalam Penerapan Pendidikan Multikultural Di SMP Negeri 1 Gudo

Implementasi Pendidikan Multikultural dalam Pembelajaran

The country of Indonesia has Unity in Diversity guidelines which means "different but still one too". In avoiding the conflicts that occur, it is necessary to instill multicultural behavior in the midst of society. The most effective inculcation of multicultural behavior is through the world of education, in this case through the application of multicultural education. Multicultural education aims to create harmony in students so that students can understand the differences that occur with others so that it is hoped that differences in harmony between religious communities can be realized.
 The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine the planning carried out to realize multicultural education in students (2) To determine the process of implementing multicultural education in student teaching and learning activities (3) To find out the process of implementing multicultural education in learning evaluation.
 The results of this study indicate that (1) a multicultural education plan was created from the results of organizing school institutions that mutually design and also build a foundation seen from existing religious differences (2) Implementation of multicultural education at SD Negeri Rejoagung 2 Ngoro can be seen from a multicultural school environment, the application of multicultural education through formal and non-formal education and inter-religious harmony that has long occurred in the Rejoagung community (3) Evaluation carried out in multicultural education at SD Negeri Rejoagung 2 Ngoro Ngoro seen from perception, understanding, appreciation , the actions and attitudes of students who can appreciate the diversity and differences that occur.

IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN MULTIKULTURAL SEBAGAI UPAYA PENGUATAN NILAI KARAKTER TOLERANSI SDN KAPUK MUARA 01

This study aims to determine the implementation of multicultural education as an effort to strengthen the value of the character of tolerance in students at SDN Kapuk Muara 01. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. In addition, the researcher intends to understand the social situation in depth. Data collection techniques researchers used several methods, namely interviews, documentation, and observation. The population of this study was SDN Kapuk Muara 01 grades 4 to 6, which amounted to 83 students. The results showed that the application of multicultural education at SDN Kapuk Muara 01 was included in the high category, based on the percentage value of the high category of 42%. While the students of SDN Kapuk Muara 01 have a moderate tolerance, based on the percentage value of the medium category of 35%.

The success of the principal in the school is based on how far his leadership style can create the art of leading, to be able to transform individuals to achieve goals. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, which aims to analyze the integration of transformational leadership and the application of multicultural education at SMK YAPIS Biak, Papua. The results show that in realizing multicultural education at YAPIS Biak Vocational School, the leader applies leadership characteristics, namely challenging the process, inspiring a shared vision, enabling others to act, modeling the way, and encouraging the heart. In addition, leaders at SMK YAPIS Biak also apply a personal approach that can shape the behavior and character of the majority and minority students so that they are willing to recognize and respect diversity.

Inside-Outside Circle Instructional Model For Multicultural Education

Indonesia is one of the largest multicultural countries in the world. This reality can be seen through the diverse and extensive socio-cultural and geographical conditions. This study aims to investigate the implementation of the Inside-Outside Circle (IOC) instructional model for the multicultural education. This research used qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed that multicultural education can be used as a strategic instrument to develop awareness of one's pride in one's ethnic group. IMPLEMENTATION OF MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION PROCESS IN ISLAMIC INSTITUTE OF FATTAHUL MULUK PAPUA

Processing and data analysis with a model that is condensation Miles and Huberman, data presentation, conclusion and verification. Testing the validity of the data, namely triangulation techniques, checking the correctness of the information, discussing and consulting data, and extending research time. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the implementation of the cultivation of multicultural education values at IAIN Fattahul Muluk Papua through the first conceptual level is realized through planning and formulating the vision, mission, and objectives of IAIN Fattahul Muluk Papua, the second institutional level is implemented through content integration. education in the curriculum) and the internalization of values in learning carried out by stages (a) transforming multicultural values; (b) multicultural value transaction and (c) the application of transinternalization of multicultural values. The purpose of this study was to analyze research trends and issues related to multicultural education in the field of future education research and to find future educational implications. This study was analyzed the papers related to multicultural education published in the first issue of 2011 through 2020 in the 『The Journal of Future Education』, a representative academic journal discussing future education. As a result of thesis analysis, empirical research was the most common type of research trend of multicultural education, 75% of empirical research and 25% of theoretical research. As a result of research subject analysis, it was found that the most research was conducted on the current status, current status, perception and attitude, and there were many studies dealing with curriculum and programs. Strategi Pelaksanaan Pendidikan PAI Berwawasan Multikultural di Sekolah

This paper discusses how to build and develop Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects with multicultural insights in Schools, while the focus of the discussion is how to strategy in education with multicultural insights and how to develop them in Schools. The method used in this discussion is qualitative research library approach. The results of the discussion illustrate that the application of multicultural education in schools must be integrated with a variety of relevant subjects and are based on the social conditions of children and not merely the adoption of multicultural education concepts of other nations and the development of multicultural education design in schools consists of three stages, namely: analyzing factors potential multicultural nuances, determining approaches, methods and media for multicultural learning, and developing multicultural based learning designs. The conclusion of this research is that the forerunners of multicultural education must be integrated with a variety of relevant subjects with respect to plurality and heterogeneity.

This research includes development research. the development model used adapted from the McKenny Model. Research has resulted in PAI learning tools that are multicultural in the form of, RPP, and teaching materials that are valid, practical and effective.

Pendidikan Multikultural Berbantuan Metode Pictorial Riddle Untuk Meningkatkan Karakter Kreatif dan Bersahabat Siswa Kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar

The differences in social, religious, and cultural status make an impact on social attitudes, the cooperative systems, and how to make friends in school. Efforts to harmonize and unify the diversity of students in schools today is integrated with multicultural education. The purpose of this research is to describe the effectiveness of multicultural education implementation with the help of pictorial riddle method to increase the value of creativity, and friendly/communicative character. In this research, the application of multicultural education is carried out in thematic integrated learning of social and natural science in grade 3 semester 2. The quasi experiment design with control group used pre-test and post-test. The result showed that multicultural education, aided with pictorial riddle method increased the value of creative and friendly/communicative character. The creative character in the experimental class increased significantly from the pretest score of 69 to 85 in the posttest, with the gain of 0.53 in the medium criterion. The increase of friendly/communicative value in the pretest experimental class was 70, increased to 80 at posttest, with the gain of 0,31 in medium criterion.
