Abstract
PrefaceSince 1995 Siberian State Industrial University (SibSIU) in cooperation with the research and design institutes, educational institutions and industrial enterprises, social and economic structures has been organizing the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference (with international participation) “Automation systems in education, science and production”.The conference is held every two years and covers a wide range of issues related to the creation of automation systems for industrial and socio-economic complexes. The program and organizational committee of the conference includes well-known Russian scientists and developers of automation systems, as well as representatives of Belarus and Kazakhstan. The financial support of the conference is provided by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, large industrial associations such as Consolidated Company “Sibshakhtostroy” LLC (Novokuznetsk), “Stroyservis” CJSC (Kemerovo).In 2017 the conference was held on December 14-16. More than 100 papers were submitted by the scientists and specialists from Moscow, Voronezh, Stary Oskol, Yekaterinburg, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Prokopyevsk, Novokuznetsk, representing academic, research and development, educational and design institutions, administrative and socio-economic structures, enterprises of various profiles.The work of the conference was organized according to sections: the plenary session, actual problems of theory and practice of automation, automation and computer systems for production, educational and research purposes. A round table was held on the problems of automation in coal industry.
