Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of fun factors in a VR-based bike game program on participants' exercise adherence and interpersonal relationships. The survey was distributed to 200 participants in 20s in the Chungcheongnam-do. Total 190 usable data were selected. Data were processed using SPSS 28.0. Exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis were conducted and simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed. Results were as follows; First, participants with high fun factors positively influenced exercise adherence. Second, high fun factors also had a positive impact on interpersonal relationships. Lastly, the exercise adherence of participants has a partial positive effect on interpersonal relationships. Therefore, it can be concluded that fun factors in the VR-based bike game program contribute to participants' exercise adherence and interpersonal relationships to some extent. The findings of this study are expected to be utilized in encouraging opportunities for participants' physical and emotional development through the integration of advanced technology into sports programs.
