Abstract

"The article considers different cases of Brusov’s response to the work of the French late Romantic Villiers de l’Isle-Adam’s. As the author of the article clarifies, the poet’s interest to the French authoris also due to the originality of his literary reputation. Some intersections between Brusov's story and Villiers de l'Isle-Adam's satire are noted, too."
