Abstract

The paper deals with the interlinear glosses of translations by V. Brusov, K. Balmont and E. Avagyan of Percy Bysshe Shelly’s «Ozymandias ». Translation analysis concludes that V. Brusov’s translation is close to the original sonnet, however, he did not manage to keep the source’s form. K. Balmont’s translation is clearly perceptible for elevated style, which is not typical for the original source. E. Avagyan did not translate but reproduces the language close to the original sonnet and added some epithets
