Abstract
A generalized method for performing the transient stability analysis in electrical power systems, which are subjected to simultaneous unsymmetrical conditions in the network, is developed. The unsymmetrical nature of the network may be due to any arbitrary combination of unsymmetrical short circuits and circuit breaker switchings. A computer program based on the method has also been written and the results obtained in the analyses of a sample system are also included.
