Abstract

Goal. To explore methods of teaching and assessment. To analyze the problems of primary education, organization of educational process, provision of schools. Methods. Methods were used: analysis, analogy, deduction, induction, classification, observation, generalization, synthesis. Results. The work proposes the concept of primary education. Suggests methods of teaching and assessment. The article reflects the problems of primary education, organization of educational process, provision of schools. Conclusion. To continuously monitor the status of primary education, correction and forecast of its development it is necessary to conduct systematic monitoring of student achievement on school, national and international levels. At the school level is determined by the dynamics of the development of quality indicators of educational achievements of the child in respect of herself. At the national level follows the dynamics of the quality of the result of their work is based on the comparison of the results of student achievement of different educational institutions. To monitor the international level is to identify the strategic directions of modernization of primary education in Russia.
