Abstract
Goal. To explore the history and mysteries of Machu Picchu and Inca civilization. Methods. Methods were used: analysis, analogy, deduction, induction, classification, observation, generalization, synthesis. Results. Conducted excursion into the history of the Inca civilization and its echoes in modern Peru, identified the major mysteries of the Inca civilization. Conclusion. It's been centuries since then, as the Spaniards invaded Latin America, and Machu Picchu was abandoned. The great Empire ceased to exist and became history. And yet the people of the Inca survived, and today in the highlands of the Andes, they cultivate the fields of their ancestors. In their ancient capital Cuzco rainbow flag of the Inca Empire develops near the modern flag of Peru. The Incas still faithful to the memory of the past, the road culture, experienced the cruel blows of history. Their masterpieces, which were so long forgotten, now the whole world knows. Perhaps somewhere in the jungles of the Andes, hidden from the human eye, can find other city of the Incas. Perhaps someday archaeologists will find them. But while in Machu Picchu there are no opponents: this is one of the most beautiful places on our planet, is a mystery that always stirs the soul.
