Abstract

The article is devoted to the improvement of teaching fire safety rules to various groups of the population. Particular attention is paid to familiarising potential employees with obvious and potential threats to life and health. The authors analyse them in terms of detection and explain some features of the most common deviations from the norms, which, one way or another, increase the risk of emergency situations that prevent people from safely performing their work or official activities. The data related to the implementation of fire prevention instruction programmes and programmes of additional professional education are presented.
