Abstract
The relevance of this article is determined by the need to develop an effective system of exercises for teaching Russian as a Foreign Language (RFL) to Chinese students. The aim of the study is to substantiate the system of exercises using video blogs aimed at the formation and development of oral monologue skills in Chinese students. The system of exercises developed by the author includes motivational, linguistic, analytical, reproductive and creative exercises. According to the results of the study, the use of video blogs contributes to the creation of an interactive and motivating learning environment. The use of authentic video materials ensures students’ involvement and stimulates them to work independently on improving their oral skills through creative activities.
