Abstract

Objective To explore the importance of the effect of psychological intervention on the negative emotion and coping mode of patients with breast cancer undergoing radical mastectomy. Methods One hundred and twenty patients with breast cancer undergoing radical mastectomy were randomly divided into observation (n=65) and control groups (n=55).The comprehensive psychological intervention was adopted in the observation group and routine nursing was given in the control group. The relevant factors of the negative emotion and coping mode of patients with breast cancer undergoing radical mastectomy were investigated by SDS, SAS and MCMQ questionnaire. Results All indicators of the observation group and control group had obvious difference and the difference was of significance in statistics science. Conclusions Psychological intervention has significant effect on mitigating the negative emotion of patients and establishing positive coping mode.
