Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of self-efficacy intervention on negative mood and coping style in patients with early corneal alkali burn. Methods A total of 60 cases of patients with early corneal alkali burn from June 2015 to June 2017 were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method.The control group was treated with routine nursing and the observation group was applied with self-efficacy intervention.The negative emotions, coping styles and self-efficacy of the two groups were compared before and after intervention. Results The scores of anxiety and self-rating(SAS), self-rating depression scale(SDS)of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The positive coping style score and self-efficacy score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The negative coping style score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions Self-efficacy intervention can help relieve the negative emotion of patients with early corneal alkali burn, which is beneficial to patients' response to disease, enhance patient's self-efficacy and treatment confidence.It is beneficial to the prognosis of patients.
