Abstract
CLEARWATER BEACH, FLA. — When college athletics administrators, coaches and athletic trainers try to find ways to improve their student‐athletes' performance and well‐being, they're likely looking in all the wrong places, which leaves student‐athletes at risk. It happens because many in college athletics don't realize brain health is inseparable from high performance and quality of life, according to the latest scientific research, explained Dr. John P. Sullivan, a clinical sport psychologist and sport scientist.
