Abstract
Statistical information was used to develop cartographic models for group systems of settlement on the territory of Yugra. As a result, it as possible to most clearly represent all details of the current spatial pattern of the network of urban settlements in the okrug. The solution of several problems is suggested for improvement and implementation of the concept of sustainable development of urbanized territories, among them agglomerations.
