Abstract
As one of the important cultural heritages of the Chinese nation for five thousand years, the ancient minority villages in Yunnan have diversified values of society, science, history, culture and art, etc. These are the basic resources to revitalize the rural economy and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Once the fire destroys, it will be an irreversible loss. Therefore, based on the investigation of typical ancient village fire events in Yunnan province, this study reflected on the common causes of ancient village fires, discussed the fire prevention strategies of ancient villages from the perspective of traditional fire prevention wisdom reuse, and proposed fire protection measures for ancient minority villages in Yunnan, providing certain reference for the fire protection work of ancient minority villages in Yunnan province.
