III. Time: During National Fire Prevention Week (October), if possible. IV. Aims: 1. To give the students an appreciation of the frightful extent of human and material waste due to fire disasters, in order that they may feel their obligation in helping with the campaign against fires. 2. To familiarize students with the chief fire hazards in order that they may know better how to prevent the calamity. 3. To help nurses to understand and to appreciate the principles underlying the main features of the whole fire prevention program with especial emphasis on the hospital program. 4. To teach the program of fire prevention and protection in this particular institution.
