Abstract
With the rapid advancement of educational technology, Blended Learning has become a common trend leading the profound reform and innovation in higher education, which greatly broadens the boundary of teaching approaches and learning methods. College English courses, as a key link to promote students' cross-cultural communication ability, expand their global vision and deepen their ideological and political literacy, how to skillfully integrate ideological and political education within the framework of blended learning instruction has become an important topic that needs to be explored deeply in the wave of education reform. This paper is committed to conducting in-depth analysis from multiple core levels, such as accurate positioning of teaching objectives, innovative integration of course content, flexible innovation of teaching methods and scientific optimization of evaluation system, and supplemented by vivid teaching practice cases, aiming to fully reveal and practice feasible strategies and paths for effective penetration and deep integration of ideological and political education in college English courses under the mixed education mode. After the exploration, we aim to propose a comprehensive ideological and political education program within the scope of higher education that is both practical and in line with the needs of the times, aiming to cultivate compound students with international competitiveness, cross-cultural communication skills, and firm ideological and political literacy.
