Abstract

In the article, various issues related to the consideration of family relations and national mentality of the Azerbaijani family in teaching the values of gender equality to students were touched upon. Family relationships are based on the principles of respect and support among family members. Healthy and positive relationships play an important role for students to learn the values of gender equality. Having family members support students ensures that they can fully develop their skills. When talking about these relations in the article, it is noted that as one of the main issues, significant steps should be taken to eliminate stereotypes in the upbringing of girls and to ensure that they fully develop their skills. In addition, when discussing the issue of taking into account the national mentality in teaching the values of gender equality to young people, it is noted that the study of the national mentality allows students to understand their national moral values, form their gender identity and get to know themselves better
