Abstract

This scientific article examines the nature and functions of the creative imagination of primary schoolchildren. The article defines the psychological and pedagogical stages of development of the creative imagination of preschoolers and primary schoolchildren. The connection between creative imagination and cognitive processes has been studied. It is especially noted that the need to learn is one of the most important aspects in the life of primary schoolchildren.
