Abstract

The questions raised in this publication invite me to update the theories of Aldo Rossi as they appear in his writings. In this article, I propose a reflection about the current “crises” of the city, starting from the approach of the Italian Tendenza and attempting to contextualize this movement in relation to the modern city and the inhabited territory in the broadest sense. The works of Gilles Deleuze and, sequentially, Jean-Pierre Leloup, allow me to get back to the complex way we address the built environment issue today, and to put forward the hypothesis of an opening towards quantum architecture as a new research direction.
