Abstract

Abstract The unbound abrasive processing has several advantages compared with the abrasive wheels grinding. However, abrasive granules or traditional abrasive materials are used as an abrasive medium in this process. In this study, the performance of the spindle grinding process by the unbound sand abrasive and the processed surface quality while varying the work piece position and its relative movement were investigated. As a result of the study, further research directions were determined and recommendations on the process use in the machine parts production were given.
