Abstract

The article presents the results of the comparative analysis of the main provisions of the Federal Law “On the quality and safety of food products” in the editions of 2000 and 2020. The commonality and differences of these provisions are revealed. Critical remarks were made on a number of terms and their definitions in the field of healthy nutrition. It was found that the amendments and additions made to the edition of the Federal Law “On the quality and safety of food products” contribute to the improvement of legal regulation in the field of healthy nutrition.
